Muso Coffee - Review - West Adams - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Muso is a coffee shop on West Adams with floor-to-ceiling windows, minimalistic decor, and thoughtfully curated playlists (music is a big theme here). The spacious patio looks like a good place to lounge, and the weekend specials are eye-catching, with drinks like a guava matcha latte and cold brew topped with lavender cream. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park

Love this place for coffee and quick breakfast. Was excited to see it finally open next to Cliffs. They have great special drinks which are not too sweet! I really recommend to try Lavender Raf. All the syrups are house made. They add a gentle touch to every drink not just bunch of sugar which I appreciate a lot! They also have great strong matcha. I recommend to try Guava Matcha as their special. As for the food they have a great selection of pastry. Croissants are just perfect (I mean look at that chocolate one). But my absolute favorite is Korean bbq burrito. I think I’m probably addicted to it now lol ! For healthier options try low carb protein parfaits.

Overhyped; was initially interested in their interleaving of music and coffee together Unfortunately, was left disappointed by the odd and rude customer service when the cashier made me repeat saying my order multiple times asking for lemon mascarpone cake and the guava matcha which ultimately resulted in me not proceeding with ordering the mascarpone cake because he could not seem to understand me? He acted as though he had never heard of the word mascarpone before although it was on the menu. It was a very odd experience; there were not loud noises in the cafe (nor music) and the only people present were the barista, the cashier, and my group, so it was simply an odd experience. Guava matcha was bland and underwhelming sadly; not comparable to matchas from cafes like Archives of Us or Community Goods. The outdoor area is a little plain but there’s ample seating. It can get a little cold as there seems to be a wind tunnel. Parking is either street parking or residential parking. Finally, they made our friend’s drink wrong which is fine (but again, it was not a busy time).

Lovely little coffee shop - located inside a beautiful industrial building, and very cozy on the inside. Plenty of seating between indoors and outdoors, and there are some art books to browse through while waiting. Staff was kind, and food and drinks arrived quickly. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a chai latte. The chai was just okay, but my friends who ordered coffee said theirs was great!

Leaving LA for just 2 weeks brought me to find another new coffee shop when coming back, gladly even in my go-to area! Visiting last Saturday, the vibe was certainly anti-mainstream with chillin music on the patio with a DJ. It gave that feeling of sitting together in a park somehow. As expected with any new cafe in LA, it's undoubtedly busy so it did take some time for any orders to be served. I got their Vanilla Latte, being intrigued by their house-made syrup. The syrup flavor was bit soft for my palate that I had to request adding more, but the coffee was impeccable. Bold taste served in the right size!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Coffee Spot in Culver City! Amazing coffee! And I do love the design of the place and location. The cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to relax, work, or catch up with friends. They also have an amazing selection of loose-leaf teas and rich cocoa. If you’re in Culver City, this is a must-visit!

I came here all the way from Woodland Hills, and it was absolutely worth it! It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful Sunday morning coffee or a cozy get-together with friends. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is friendly, and the coffee and pastries are excellent. I was especially happy to see a great selection of vegan options—it's clear that a lot of thought and care go into every detail here. My favorite part - beautiful handmade mugs that make the experience even more special.

Really nice place. Tried the guava matcha latte which was absolutely refreshing and delicious. The only downside was that is not handicap accessible friendly. Unless I missed another entrance which has a ramp, it was frustrating that I struggle with my baby who had CP to get in and out.

Google
mu.sō is a sleek, modern cafe run by the best coffee experts in Los Angeles. The spacious outdoor area is perfect for catching up on work, socializing, or enjoying the great LA weather. Roman, Jorge, and the rest of the team provided excellent customer service, patiently guiding me through the menu with a warm, friendly demeanor. I ordered the lavender iced latte which was quickly made, and it was absolutely delicious-the lavender tasted rich, robust, and natural. Excellence is obviously a priority for mu.sō, and going there definitely made my morning! Couldn't recommend more!

Yelp
wifi: yes outlets: yes seating: a few tables indoors and outdoors i got an iced vanilla latte and the turkey and provolone croissant. the latte was decent and not very sweet. there is simple syrup available if you'd like to increase your sweetness. the croissant was delicious-- definitely recommend asking them to heat it up! the servers were very friendly and nice. though a little busy in the morning, the food and drink came out pretty quickly.

Yelp
So excited to have a coffee shop in west adams! Service was really nice and super aesthetic on the inside. I had their vanilla latte and unlike other places theirs wasn't overly sweet or too milky. lt was a perfectly balanced latte!

Yelp
Trying to give this shop the benefit of the doubt as it seems to be newly opened. For the positives, the interior is beautiful with a nice outdoor patio area to sit and sip on your coffee. Parking isn't too bad either with parking available right outside but you do have to go to park in residential areas if it's not available. I ordered the lavender cream top cold brew and my boyfriend got an iced matcha. The lavender cream top was okay. Taste is subjective but I felt like I was getting very very faint hints of lavender. It was $7 for a 12 oz drink I'd give it a 3/5. My boyfriend got the iced matcha and immediately the color told me how it would taste. The drink tasted like milk and I wasn't too impressed with the flavor. And small nitpicky thing but no one greeted us when we walked in and overall it did not feel like a very welcoming environment :((

Yelp
Muso Coffee stands out for its exceptional service and high-quality products. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about coffee, making our visit feel personal and welcoming. Their coffee is rich and flavorful. My wife and I got the Vanilla latte and Dutch Mocha, and both were brewed to perfection with beautiful latte art! It's clear that Muso prioritizes both craft and customer experience, making it a top choice for anyone looking for a great coffee fix in a cozy setting.

Yelp
8 year old review: There was a lot of parking space, great food and hot chocolate. And it was very nice the outside had a lot of space.

Yelp
Just stumbled upon this spot after visiting the Blum Gallery and I'm so glad we did! The architecture and interior decor is extremely tasteful. I wanted to try one of their signature drinks since they all sounded interesting but I opted for the Lavender Creamtop today. Wow!! The cold brew was smooth and well bodied but the star of the show was the lavender sweet cream. It had the perfect consistency while being mildly sweet with balanced floral notes. It was so good that I asked them if it was possible to add the lavender sweet cream to my girlfriend's matcha latte and it just took her drink to the next level! Their staff is incredibly kind and caring. We're new fans here and we're excited to return!
