Came here for dinner after a day of the Louisville Slugger Museum and a bunch of bourbon.
We were seated rather quickly and our server, Megan, was pretty attentive. The restaurant was packed, the bar looked busy, and there was an event going on in the back area.
Hubby and I shared the seafood sliders which were amazing- and we requested they be served with the sweet potato fries rather than their homemade chips. The fries were served with a smoked pineapple sauce which was equally incredible, a perfect blend of flavors.
I ordered the ponzu mussels, thinking they'd be a bit more on the sweet side, entirely missing the " jalapeño" part of the description. Too spicy for my taste, my husband traded it for his curry cream ones, mussels bathed in a yellow curry sauce which were definitely more to my liking. When Megan learned I didn't like my order, she asked if I wanted to reorder, a sign of good management/ customer service.
Against my better judgment, I ordered their carrot cake dessert, served with my choice of ice cream ( vanilla). Creamy, yummy, and decadent, mostly devoured.
Special recognition to Andre who served our food with a beautiful smile.
Will definitely return when we visit again.
