If you’re a fan of Ford Mustangs or classic American muscle cars, this museum is a must-see. The collection covers Mustangs from different eras — from vintage originals to modern high-performance models. Every car is beautifully displayed, and you can really feel the passion behind the collection. The atmosphere is great — the museum is located right near Charlotte Motor Speedway, which makes it even more exciting for car lovers. The staff is friendly and always ready to share fun facts about the cars. It’s not a huge museum, but that’s part of its charm. You can explore everything in about an hour or two, and the gift shop has awesome Mustang merch to take home. 💡 Tip: Check the opening hours before going (on Sundays they open at noon). Overall, it’s a fantastic stop for anyone who loves cars. Definitely worth the visit if you’re in Concord or anywhere near Charlotte!

Small museum, a really good collection of Mustangs. My personal favorites were the clay models. They LOOK like metal and glass. The clay interior models LOOK like leather, plastic and metal. You just WANT to touch it, but you can't. Add a great collection of memorabilia and some good engines, you get an idea of what's here. Oh, and a blue 427 Cobra roadster.

We had company from out of state and we took them here. They really enjoyed it and so did we. We were at Mustang museum at the old location the last time and it was all new cars this visit. The library was open and it had so many books. The lady at desk was very informative as well. Here are three of my favorites. I you love muscle cars I definitely recommend this museum.

Did you know there's Mustang Owner's Museum in Concord, NC? My husband and son told me about, and I'm so glad I visited this hidden gem. This museum is the passion project of Steve Hall, who passed away in 2023 leaving his lovely wife and daughter to carry on his legacy. Mr. Hall was a passionate Mustang enthusiast who created the museum to preserve the history of the car through the vehicles and memorabilia of its owners. There are permanent car exhibits from the 1964 New York World's Fair to a Barn Find to Mustang Racing. Then there is a rotation of cars from Mustang owner's that are lent to the museum for a six-month period. New rotations usually happen around Thanksgiving and Easter. This pristine display of Mustang love is definitely worth a visit!

The museum is very well put together. A great feature is that the vehicles on display rotate in/out Easter and Thanksgiving so you can enjoy this place more than once. The diaplays with all the parts, emblems, and dicast are very nice. I also enjoyed the room with all the old books and magazines. I highly recommended going to the museum and supporting their cause.

I will start off by saying that I never owned a Ford Mustang, but I had a lot of family and friends own them. Mustang memories come back here: When I was in high school, I rode in a neighbor's 65 Mustang to zero period class for weightlifting. So, coming here was pretty nostalgic seeing all the different models thru time. The smell in here is just as nostalgic with the memories, too. Just epic. Location: it's tucked back a block from the main road, so it's nice and quiet in the building. Staff: friendly and knowledgeable. They give you a brief rundown of what's in the museum and what's special. What's cook here: - #11 Mustang ever made - full-size clay model painted from Ford - Mustang from a world's fair - Shelby Mustang - engine lineup through the years - much more

We found this museum by chance as we were looking to fill some time prior to going to the airport. The place is small, but it's interesting. The full sized clay model of the Mustang and it's interior was pretty cool to learn about. They have some very nice models.

Not a car guy but this was a cool experience. Rotating exhibits every 6 months, extremely unique displays. Building is nondescript and you would miss it if you don’t pay attention to the signs!

Yelp
This is a really nice museum for Ford Mustang owners in Concord North Carolina. The last time I was here was in 2019 with my son. Since then, they moved across the street to another commercial building. The space appears to be smaller and there are less cars on display. However, it is still really nice and worth a stop if you're in the area. Saturday was Bullitt Day at the museum. Ford produced special edition Bullitt Mustangs in '01, '08, '09 (briefly), '18 & '19, which came in a dark highland green or black color with some special appearance package items as well as a boost to the horsepower. I own an '08 and my wife and I drove down for the day. We had a nice time. The staff is great and we got a brief tour. They had some really nice cars on display that have interesting histories. They rotate vehicles every six months or so. Definitely check it out if you happen to be in the area.

Yelp
I'm reviewing the online MERCH for sale. I ordered over 119.00 worth of stuff some for a B day I never received a email confirmation so all I had was my PayPal in once. Finally I emailed them and the and only then was I informed one of the items I ordered was OOS promised would ship the next day. It did finally ship, when it arrived (with no packaging slip) a tee shirt and banner was missing! I emailed them and their response was that's odd we double check! Obviously not! The I was told the banner was shipped separately! Why was I not informed of this, shotty business practices. She sends me an email said banner was shipped same day In a tube and said would ship another shirt. Now mind you a label was created on 8/30/2024 but never scanned nor is there any information on the package I received one but not the other, why ship separate lmao. My items won't arrive for the day I needed them. Now she said they drop them off at post office so to me they should have a receipt showing that item was shipped yet nothing. Don't waste your time on this place. I was told they are a small business, yet they have zero business sense! Thanks for nothing!!! I love mustangs and small businesses but this place has ZERO business ethics! Never again. Knowing little pride they take in online business is never waste my time visiting.

Yelp
I was visiting Charlotte for a weekend on a family trip. Since I was with some car lovers, the Mustang Owner's Museum was an obvious choice. A large building full of Mustangs? If you love cars - Mustangs, especially, obviously - you'll love visiting this museum. 40,000 square feet of Mustangs. There are some exceptional Mustangs at the museum (although their collection will change seasonally as these are still owned by individuals, not by the museum): a 1964 Mustang built on the first day of production; a 1964 Mustang used at the 1964 New York World's Fair; a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 429 Super Cobra Jet (one of 531, and 1 of 18 in its specific color and configuration)... It's definitely worth a visit if you're a Mustang lover.

Yelp
Stopped by while in town for the Ford Performance Racing School. 100% worth it! Some really cool cars from all generations of Mustang.

Yelp
As a mustang junkie my review will be a bit one sided. My family and I drove from Texas, and got to go to what I would call my Graceland. The collection was impressive , mustangs I had only seen in pictures and read about were on display as well as collectibles from decades. The staff was friendly and informed on the history. I recommend this for any hard core mustang person. I also recommend for casual fans who would enjoy the variety of makes and models.
