A Refined Stay in the Heart of Thong Lor This stay at MUU Bangkok Hotel, part of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, marks my 4th SLH experience and easily one of the most memorable. One of several SLH properties in Bangkok, MUU stands out with its intimate scale, thoughtful design, and unbeatable Thong Lor location. Set in one of Bangkok’s most hip and posh neighborhoods, the hotel feels both residential and elevated. I stayed in a One Bedroom Suite, and it was truly the highlight of the experience. Exceptionally spacious with a separate living area, dining space, bedroom, large bathroom, and a private balcony, it felt like a refined city apartment rather than a hotel room. The rooftop pool delivered impressive sunset views over the city, paired with a relaxing infinity jacuzzi that was perfect after a long day. The gym was modern and well equipped, and the hotel also offers multiple meeting rooms, making it equally suitable for business stays. Dining was a highlight too. Otto Italian Restaurant served comforting and hearty Italian dishes, with the famous steak and lobster pasta standing out alongside a beautifully done burrata salad. Evenings at MUU Social Club were relaxed and indulgent, enjoying executive lounge perks with canapés and free flowing selected wines and soft drinks. A lovely hotel filled with great memories, perfectly positioned for a refined Thong Lor lifestyle.

We honestly cannot say enough good things about MUU Hotel Bangkok. They completely saved our stay in Bangkok. We had already paid for another hotel, but when we arrived there it was dirty and uncomfortable, and we knew immediately we couldn’t stay. Finding MUU Hotel was the best decision we made on this trip. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptional — not just polite, but genuinely friendly, warm, and professional. You can tell they truly care about their guests. What impressed us the most was that we were given early check-in without even asking. After a long and stressful start to our stay, that small gesture meant everything and instantly made us feel welcomed and looked after. The hotel itself is spotless. Every area feels clean, fresh, and well maintained — from the rooms to the common areas. Our room was beautifully designed, comfortable, and quiet, with attention to detail that you really appreciate after a long day exploring the city. The swimming pool is a real highlight: clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. All facilities are in excellent condition and clearly cared for. Whether it was the gym, pool area, or shared spaces, everything felt premium and thoughtfully designed. We also had the chance to enjoy the Italian restaurant, which was fantastic. Great food, great atmosphere, and service that matched the high standard of the hotel. It’s rare to find a hotel restaurant that you’d happily visit even if you weren’t staying there — this one definitely qualifies. Overall, MUU Hotel turned what could have been a disappointing experience into an amazing one. Even though we lost money on another hotel we never stayed in, choosing MUU was absolutely worth it. If you’re coming to Bangkok and want a hotel that’s clean, stylish, relaxing, and run by genuinely kind people, do not hesitate — book MUU Hotel. We would return in a heartbeat. This was my second stay at Muu Hotel in Bangkok (Sukhumvit area) and once again everything was perfect. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make you feel comfortable. I had booked a standard room, but to my surprise they upgraded me to a suite, which I really appreciated. I also had a late-night flight, and they kindly allowed me to take a shower before leaving, a small detail that makes a huge difference after a long day. The location is perfect, very convenient for getting around the city. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

A luxurious 170 plus rooms boutique hotel in Thonglor, managed and maintained very well. Rooms are very spacious. Elegantly and aesthetically designed. Combination of Buffet and Customised Breakfast menu was a gourmet treat. Checkin and Luggage transfer to room was very smooth and fast. Toey The server in Dining/Breakfast area was super cool and courteous. Made the dining experience even much better.

I stayed at the MUU for 3 nights . It provides a luxury atmosphere within the premises. Staff are always happy to help accommodate your needs. Nice small pool on the 11th floor, a view of Thong Lo neighbors also. Everything was fine, although I found the two smoke alarms in the room would flash constantly at night this wasn’t comfortable at night. Nice selection of Tea & coffee in the room . Good amenities. Super soft bed & amazing shower with bidet. The room wasn’t soundproof although it never will be . Great location on Sukhumvit.

The hotel has been around for a while. Both the rooms and the public areas are noticeably damp. The gym is also quite odd—very enclosed. Moss has even grown at the elevator entrance on the 11th floor. I'm not sure if it’s meant to be art, but it certainly feels unsanitary, since moss only thrives in damp conditions. The breakfast is just average. The only real strength of this hotel is its staff. The concierge team is exceptionally warm and friendly, while the front desk staff—especially Mr. Jey and Ms. Cream—are truly professional and kind. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests and checked in with me daily to ensure I was comfortable. The only thing I truly value here is their excellent service, which really reflects the high quality of the team!

Muu was a wonderful experience for us. My wife and I were in town celebrating our honeymoon. The facilities at the hotel are very nice and up to date. We ate breakfast there and the food was great. We also visited the late night bar and had some nice cocktails. The rooftop pool has a wonderful view, and reasonably priced drinks adjacent to it. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an exceptional stay at MUU Bangkok! The hotel is perfectly located, making it easy to explore the city’s best spots. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary upgrade — the suite was superb: spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The service was flawless from start to finish — everyone, from the bellboys to room service, was professional, friendly, and attentive. Breakfast was absolutely lavish with a wide variety of delicious options, and the gym and pool facilities were both excellent. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, making the whole experience seamless. Overall, MUU Bangkok exceeded my expectations in every way — highly recommended for anyone looking for a stylish and perfectly run hotel in the heart of the city!
