"Within the impressive main building of the National Museum of Poland sits this younger sibling to alewino, which serves unfussy bistro-style food. A broad menu includes both hot and cold starters, with hearty dishes like trout paprikash a feature. There is a refined finish to the cooking, but it’s the punchy flavours that really stand out. The friendly team make everyone feel welcome and always serve with a smile." - Michelin Inspector

Warsaw Travel Guide: This Hip Eastern European City Is One of the Best Places to Travel This Year

"You can almost skip visiting the National Museum in Warsaw when dining at Muzealna restaurant, housed in the museum’s underground level. Both interiors and the cuisine are led by nostalgia, with young Polish artists and chef Przemysław Suska creatively paying respect to a Poland of the past." - Kasia Dietz

Brilliant Michelin Guide recommended dining experience in the heart of Warsaw. Short yet flawlessly executed menu - paired with an equally delicious wine menu. Friendly service in a well decorated indoor / outdoor setting. Very fair pricing. Highly recommended!

If you never tried Michelin recommended restaurant it must be your first! At least when you are / stay in Warsaw 🙂 Jokes apart - food here is a splendid combination of Polish tradition and modern twist. And it is fantastic! Like the surroundings of monumental Museum. Always go for your first desire and remember that you can feel comfortable with first, second and dessert 🧁 for wine skip traditional countries and try Polish ones. In summer I do advice to go to the garden 🪴 enjoy 😉

We went to Muzealna for my partner's birthday. We had read great things about the place... and indeed, it lived up to the praise. We dined outside on the terrace, as it wasn’t crowded and the weather was warm. It was a very quiet spot with just the right amount of shade. The menu is short and offers numerous vegan and vegetarian options. We started with the asparagus pierogi and beef tartare. My partner had a delicious homemade orange and rosemary lemonade, while I enjoyed a glass of Czech orange wine (also very nice). For the main course, we ordered the pork cheeks with mashed potatoes and spinach, and the trout with dill gnocchi. Both dishes were incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The pork cheeks came with a rich gravy, and the trout was served with a fragrant herb reduction. Everything was perfectly seasoned and plated. I had mentioned that it was my partner’s birthday, and they kindly added a candle to one of their delicious desserts (a puff pastry with a custard cream filling). We also added a bottle of local carbonated water and two perfectly served cups of coffee (one ristretto and one espresso). It’s not often that you can actually see the difference between the two when ordering, but here you could. We chatted a bit with the waiter and jokingly told him that if they ever wanted a Michelin star, they’d need to halve the portions and double the price.

This restaurant is located in the basement of the national museum, and we found it through the Michelin guide. We tried some starters and some mains, and everything both looked and tasted good. Also service was friendly.

Simply delicious. Polish haute cuisine. Intricate dishes that you would expect to find in the smartest and most expensive restaurants, here available without fuss at accessible prices. Flavours (kohlrabi pockets and halibut) were fresh, zingy and complex. The atmosphere is not uplifting but food and service more than compensate. Presumably later in the evening (I came at 18.00) it is livelier anyway. Wonderful.

A hidden gem located in Muzeum Narodowe, Muzealna is the perfect place to have a classy dinner or a chic brunch. I went here with my partner for Valentine's Day and it was the perfect choice! The ambiance, the service, and the dishes themselves were all perfect. Even for it being later at night, our waiter was so lovely and helpful. He helped us pick out our wines and gave us excellent recommendations for food. We ended up ordering a nice appetizer (potato risotto) and two mains (duck with Silesian dumplings and Cod). Both dishes were superb and it was such a no-frills, yet classy dining experience that I would recommend for everyone looking for a nice night on the town. Since their day and night menus are different, I am excited to go back a second time to try dishes off of another menu! Hats of to you, Muzealna! 🍷

Amazing food. Had chanterelle mushrooms with rye toast, baby lettuce salad with beats and goat cheese, Lamb with potato and green beans, barley risotto with mushrooms and vanilla "puff" for desert. Better than some Michelin starred restaurants I have eaten at. Service was prompt and extremely courteous. The setting is unusual but chic and interesting in the -1 level of the museum. And very affordable. Would highly recommend.
