Food is excellent! Chicken cooked to perfection, yellow rice is delicious. Don't even get me started on the green sauce (more, please!!) Also ordered house salad & red onion side dish, both were fresh and very good!! Will definitely be ordering again!

My Apartment is located around the corner from my house. Their rotisserie chicken is the best I've ever had. The green sauce is amazing...unmatched. The hostess, Nurys, is polite, professional, and a lovely woman. The Cuban sandwich is also excellent. A wonderful unassuming restaurant with amazing food!

Go hungry because their portions are generous. Had the Empanadas which were not only delicious but nicely stuffed. Had the green spaghetti (Tallarines) with steak and to satisfy the sweet tooth I had the Alfajor. This little treat was a soft cookie filled with Dulce de leche. So delish.

Ordered Peruvian shrimp fried rice w green sauce. Rice itself was good but the Shrimp tasted dirty. I was sick for 2 days after.

Love this place. This is our go to for peruvian here in Bayonne. The fish ceviche is one of my favorite dishes. They make it really good. . We ordered the breaded chicken with the arroz chaufa.. its best with the green sauce, yum! Service was good. The lady at the counter was so helpful and our food came out fast. The place is clean. Only street parking here. You can order take out as well. They deliver fast too.

Food was really delicious, but the service was disappointing. The lady at the front was pretty rude, which ruined the experience for me. Still, I’d say go for the food.

I ate at home with my dogs staring at me so the atmosphere wasn’t so great.

This is our second time here. We definitely enjoyed it way more than the first time. I'm so happy the food has gotten better. The food, drink and an alfajor ($3) was about $65

The wait time here is horrible. My boyfriend ordered a BURGER, no fries or anything extra literally just a burger. We went inside about 25ish minutes after ordering, there was a small family dining in but they were the only people there and already had their food. The lady at the counter told us it would be 15 more minutes, but in total we waited for an hour. Just for a mediocre burger.

My go to place when I'm craving Peruvian food. I love their chaufa and roasted chicken. The only thing is that the food takes a while to come out. The servers are friendly. Prices are reasonable. The place has only 4 tables, it's mostly for takeouts.

The rotisserie chicken dinner is SOOOO delicious and such good value. It comes with fries and a salad and the fries are fresh cut. I got fried rice on the side and extra green sauce. The chicken is even better than the last time I ordered, more seasoned and juicy than previously. Literally an amazing meal especially for a family. Thanks for the great food !

My sister told me about this spot and I'm so glad she did! I love My Apartment's food. I ordered for pick up and ordered the half-chicken with rice and beans. SO delicious! The only critique I would make is that the beans could use more liquid and less beans. Other than that it was delicious. The fries are so good too. My boyfriend ordered the steak, fried yuca and fries. This was his first time eating their food and he never ate so fast! We both really enjoyed our meal. Portion sizes are good and the price isn't so bad. A must-try!

I ordered a large order for lunch for my office. The food was delicious and plentiful! Delivery did take a long time (about 1 hour and 15 mins after I called) so that's the reason for taking off 1 star. But I ordered the limo Saltado and the beef was very juice and fries were not soggy. I'd order from here again.

I order the whole chicken dinner often. It's a solid go-to delivery option in Bayonne. When plantains are available, I sub those for the fries, which are clearly Ore Ida frozen crinkle cut fries. The salad also leaves much to be desired. The star is really the Peruvian chicken with green sauce. Crispy, moist, delicious! Love the green sauce. Wish they gave you more with an order.

The food is good, but we were really offput by their mandatory service fee (15%) and their credit card fee (4%). Normally in most restaurants they will have this clearly stated in the menu, but they only have this written on the check. I would have tipped them more than 15%, but even if you pay cash, they leave the credit card fee on your bill. It may be nothing on one bill, but it is a lot when you consider all the customers who don't look closely at their bill. I would love to come back for the food but really don't agree with the fee policy here.

After a long stint as a middle of the road Pizza joint (with hilariously kitschy commercials) the new management of the space has opened up the only Peruvian Joint in town. This family run restaurant has fantastic food up and down the menu. Not limited to just one style, the eclectic menu has something for everyone. The big oven is still there so they offer Pizza for those who might be squeamish to try the Peruvian fare...but for the initiated or for those willing to go out on a ledge...the authentic Peruvian and the specials they often provide do not seem like downtown Bayonne...but more like a trip to the foothills of the Andes. High marks for the Bisteca La Pobre and the entire rotiserie chicken dinner. Make sure to wash it down with a pitcher of cold Chicha Morada and ask for a side of the green sauce for your entree (which as far as I can tell goes good with everything) I was also pleasantly surprised at the burgers they have on the menu and to create. I had myself a double with mozz, raw onions, teriyaki and lettuce and it was soo large I could barely even stuff it in my fat face. Affordable to boot, puts some of these artisanal burger joints to shame. Great addition to Bayonne, I suggest everyone gives it a try

We flew into NJ airport and didn't want fast food so this was it! We ordered online w yelp 10 minutes early but waited extra 25 minutes. I think they had a lot of Togo orders. Of of the food was delicious but the shrimp and grits came out a little creasy. Definitely try their seafood fried rice and Cuban sandwich. They were amazing. Just as good as NYC.

Horrible service , getting your food delivered isn't any better. Ordered a half chicken and after an hour of not getting it delivered, called and was told I had to wait another 40 minutes.

We ordered the Arroz Chaufa de Cerdo (Pork) and Papa a la Huancaina. The Chaufa was great as usual. (We like the Pork better than the chicken). The Papa a la Huancaina was good too but probably not my favorite.

I love good food and the Peruvian rice here is good food. It's always perfect. They give you enough rice for a week in one serving. I've only ever done take out but I wish more business came here. I ordered lunch from here for my co workers and they loved it. Parking is a problem if you are trying to stay in or pick up and the menu seems like there are too many different options that don't seem pervuavian.

This place is good but there's a hair in my potatoes the minute i opened the box. kinda disgusting.

I have driven by this place numerous times. The outsides decor is not something that will draw you in; however, looks can be deceiving. For dinner this evening, I ordered the whole chicken, chaufa, fries, & salad meal + a side of the chupe de camarones. Everything was perfect. The chicken was not dry, the fries were crispy, the rice was flavorful, and the salad had just the right amount of ingredients. It was my first time trying chupe de camarones. At first I thought by the richness and color of the soup it would be overly seasoned and it was not. It was perfect. Even though I was full I kept going in for more. (The green sauce for the chicken is amazing, ask for extra) I will be ordering from here more often. Thanks My Apartment!

Food is always delicious and delivery on time. I'm cautious about how fresh the seafood is.

It's my first time trying Peruvian food and I must say.... not to bad. The Ceviche Mixto here was delicious. Felt like I was eating something fresh from the ocean with a touch of lime....I tried their chicken and beans which was pretty common for me. I would say my favorite was the Ceviche Mixto. Not too bad for a local spot. Oh the place felt like walking into a home sitting at a dining room table and waiting to be served. Definitely should check this spot out.

Great small cafe that makes you feel like you're at home. The portions are big and the food was delicious. We ordered the breakfast nachos which a served on these flaky tortilla chips, the rotisserie chicken and a breakfast platter. The chicken was nice and tender. The breakfast platter included a tamale, blood sausage and chicharrones which were crispy but tender. We ate inside and our server was amazing, she was very attentive considering all of the online orders she managing at the same time. We will definitely be back for more.

Ordered delivery today. Delivery was prompt and the food arrived hot. Churrasco and Chaufa combo is a plentiful serving. Steak was prepared medium-well as requested and the chaufa is just amazing and flavorful. I also ordered the 1/4 Chicken Mostrito...1/4 serving of your choice btwn white or dark rotisserie chicken, served with "green crack sauce", chaufa, fries, and salad. The chicken is so tender and juicy and the green sauce takes it over the top. I could bathe in that sauce! Generous portions you can easily make 2 meals out of. Definitely one of my Bayonne favorites.

Ordered take out twice due to the pandemic and both times have not been disappointed. My wife and I come from over the bridge in Staten Island and their ceviche is mouth watering. Love it! Always excited to find a new place to eat and I love Peruvian food. My Apartment is highly recommended.

I have ordered several times and they never disappoint. The roasted chicken, chaufa rice and the green sauce is delicious! My only suggestion is that they fry the french fries crispier and punch holes in the container for ventilation. Each time I order, I have specified these instructions which have not been followed and the fries still arrive soggy.

I had a delievery of oven chicken, salad, rice, salad, and shrimp soup. The chicken with the green sauce is great. The delievery came in good time as well . I didn't touch the salad, it looked a little plain but then again, it's a salad. I will continue to order from this place from time to time; so far so good

We are sooo happy that we found this place. The food was amazing. Empanadas were all great. I can it it all day. So much flavor! We ordered the rotisserie chicken, it was juicy and tender. We can't wait to try there other dishes.

The food here is consistently great! We always order delivery and the food arrives hot and fresh. I had a mixup with my order today (it was my fault) but they took care of it right away! 10/10 food, 10/10 customer service. Please consider eating here and supporting their business!

This is usually my go to place for takeout during the week. The problem is there's just way too many items to choose from! That's not good when you're hungry lol. Anyway, I'm never disappointed with the food and they give large portions as well. PS - I am HOOKED on the green sauce.

Completely understand it must be hard to prep the food during these times. However, I placed an order at 6 pm and it is now 8:15 the app says it's ready for pick up but the food is still not done. Called before to make sure and no answer. The least they can do is pick up the phone and inform us about time. Update after 2 hours they forgot the grilled chicken in the grilled chicken Cobb salad Lost a long time customer

I really LOVE there food it's worth the money it's worth the wait. Everything in there is amazing even the cookies. Ppl try they're Peruvian spaghetti it's to die for.

I've ordered food from here numerous times and every time has been excellent! The portions are pretty large and the food quality is excellent. Their roasted chicken is hands down my favorite and delicious! Delivery is pretty fast and food is nice and hot when it arrives!

The food is outstanding! We started with mixed fish ceviche , plenty for 2 . We get it not spicy. It come with corn and sweet potatoes. Then we shared the Peruvian Paella. Full of shrimp, mussels, clams , shrimp and calamari. The rice is almost like a risotto, creamy and full of flavor. We have enough left over for lunch tomorrow! The music was low and festive , the food came out fast, no longer than 15 min. I don't like to say anything negative , however I feel like it's important. The servers were young and extremely unprofessional. The girls were flirting with the delivery staff, I had to get up twice to ask for water and had to ask for plates! We will return for the yummy food!

I've been here so many times and I can't explain how much i love it lol. The mac and cheese is worth it! great quality, great price, and they give you a lot for how much you pay. I don't eat chicken but all my friends love the rotisserie chicken and porkchop. The calamari salad is a favorite too! The ceviche is really great if you're looking into it. The arroz chof shrimp rice is awesome with the green sauce! The fries are huge and sooooo goood. The tres leche is soo good as well. I can say so much about this place. It's not asthetically pleasing, but the food is amazing. You can really taste the lovee LOL and the service is awesome. Every waiter who works there are so accommodating and kind :)

Made me wait TWENTY 20 for cold potatoes and cheese sauce. That's not how the dish is served I'm no dummy.

Small Mom and pop Peruvian restaurant. Friendly service. The chef came to our table and tried to help us with dish selection. The food is excellent! Tried lomo saltado and mixed seafood fried rice. The portions are really big. One dish can be shared by two people easily!!! The prices on the menu are very reasonable. But they charged 15% service fee which I didn't understand why?? And there was an additional section for tip on the receipt.

Recently moved to Bayonne, and I needed to find an all time favorite! This place is great, really good food and a delicious green sauce. Ive had both the rotisserie chicken and the lomo saltado. They have been on point every time! (If you order to go, you do get a limit amount of green sauce.)

The food is great but an hour or more for delivery is just bad business. It you're willing to wait that long, I suppose that's you decision. But I live one (1) block away and I can't accept 60 minutes for delivery.

Great Homemade Cheap Eats with Lots Of Flavor Truly Wonderful & Amazing Lots Of Choices and variety too !!!!

I have mixed reviews about this place. There rotisserie chicken is very flavorful and there Peruvian green sauce is like nothing I ever experienced! It's amazing...but it annoys me that when I want to order lunch I can't order chicken bc they say chickens are not ready until 1230pm. I think think should cook them up in the morn so they are ready ...there salad is always wilted and looks like it's been sitting around and there delivery takes so long and I'm only .9 miles away. So basically yes their food is good but they need to speed things up.

The rotisserie chicken is always good. Not super flavorful but pretty good. The chicken chaufa was okay. We have definetly had better but we're trying to find a local place. We might give it another chance. Maybe it was just a bad day.

I love this place. I have gotten the cheese empanadas and the vegetable Peruvian rice several times and each meal was delicious. Huge rice portion, unique flavor.

Found black hair on my food! DISGUSTING!!!! And the employees avoided giving me eye contact or even acknowledge that there was hair in my food. They have poor customer service. I still ended up paying for m food which I didn't eat by the way. I'm never coming back and I'm not the one to complain, Ever! I'm very annoyed!

BEWARE!! I've ordered the half chicken 3 times before from here, but recently I ordered it with a side salad and omfg. Within 1 hour I was nauseous, dizzy, and just could not get comfortable no matter what. I found myself pacing the house just for mild relief. Laying down made it worse. 4 hours later I began vomiting violently a full 6 times. Half hour after that I vomited AGAIN an additional 3 more times until my stomach was completely purged -- then it all stopped completely. I didn't have a fever, I can keep down food from home - so I'm going to assume there's some cross contamination going on over there. Never ordering from here again.

I have never heard of this restaurant until today. The menu looks very appetizing and they have a broad food selection. We ordered for pick up and it took about 45 minutes to get to my job. The delivery man was very friendly and even came back inside to give us a menu in case we wanted to order again! The food itself was descent. (For a pick up order, at least) I ordered the Bistek a Lo Pobre and they gave me a generous portion. I would definitely try dinning in to fully experience the food and service.

Excellent food second time I had placed order from them. Rice one of the best I have eaten in a long time. Chicken was perfectly seasoned. Keep up the great work!

We went to this restaurant as part of a foray into eating at Latin American restaurants that we did over the past few months as part of a blog he was doing for his High School Spanish class. We went here on a Saturday mid-day for lunch, we were the only ones here the entire time during our visit. We were greeted by the friendly women working there, there was rather loud Spanish music with corresponding TV on during the visit, not bad just a bit loud. The food was very tasty, spiced well, & plentiful. The only thing is their menu is primarily meat & chicken & almost all of their seafood options are deep fried, so for someone like me who's a pescetarian it's slim pickings. I had the Peruvian shrimp fried rice - good, but very heavy & just a lot of rice. Shrimp were not grilled or spiced first, so not that great. We also had the Peruvian burger with potatoes, very good, & the seafood platter - all deep fried, but was okay. Overall, place is super cute, service is good, & food is an A-. For Bayonne, it's a welcome addition to the dearth of good food offerings!
