My Big Fat Gyros

Why are all the gems found in the rough? This was the best gyro I’ve had in Columbus The lamb was cooked to perfection regardless of how long it might have been sitting precooked. The pita was toasted on the flattop to the point it was crispy but didn’t break when folded. Fresh veggies were very surprising as well. Will be back but only in the middle of the day.

Ate here on my way home from Columbus, always in the market for good Greek food. My only complaint is that they put all the goodies on top of the Pita shell and by the time I got home it was soggie. We eat here from time to time and the service is always great, no issues there. The food was out fast and hot. We ordered the Gyro Bowl most of the time I just get a gyro but opted for the bowl this time. Worth stopping in for a fast bite. Good job guys looking forward to seeing you soon.

The best pita bread and awesome fries/mozz sticks. Order from here a few times but when I got it today thier was a FEATHER in my wings.

Came from out of state to visit family for the weekend. Our family tradition is to find a good Gyro in town before i leave, and this place did NOT disappoint! Great service and conversations and VERY reasonable prices. Devoured a gyro in like 10 minutes! Fried zucchini planks were probably best I've had in a while. Definitely worth the visit and glad my dad referred it! When they say the hole-in-the-wall resWill be returning for sure!

Some of the best gyros we’ve ever had! We were in the area for work and had to give this place a try. Soooo glad we did. I got the gyro salad and it was massive and delicious. The baklava was really good too. My fiancé got a gyro and it was fantastic as well. It’s more of a takeout kind of place, but definitely give it a try! My salad and giant baklava was $14, and the gyro (regular, which was still pretty big!) was $6 so the prices are great too.

The lamb was amazing it was cut thicker than most places and it made it stay moist and they put plenty of sauce on it. Nice and messy and that's how I like my gyros imo the messier the better had to get out of my vehicle to finish it. Just would recommend eating quickly and not taking it home first because the amount of sauce would soggy up the pita. Better than it not having sauce like most places . Service was great too gentleman came out to bring me my order.

Omgoodness! First thing was the amazing fries They were filled with such flavor and they were freshly made. We ordered the chicken and lamb gyro. I did not know better, so I ordered extra sauce on the side. Don't bother, the gyro was perfect and saucy. Reasonably priced also.

Absolutely will never eat here again paid almost 24 dollars and whatever kinda meat it was, it wasn't lamb. My man said now you gotta cook and had I done that in the 1st place I'd still have 24 bucks

Was in town for work and found this little hidden gem. The staff here was super friendly and helpful with my questions. Now this place is pretty tiny but does have a little bit of seating available. The food menu is pretty extensive but as someone who doesn't drink soda, drink options were pretty non-existent. I got the chicken gyro with a side of rice. The gyro was delicious!! Highly would recommend them, super juicy, great sauce compliments and nice fresh pita and veggies. Now the rice was not as popping. It was very dry and stiff, very bland and after one bite I didn't eat the rest.

I ordered my usual and everything was well until I saw one of my ketchup packets was empty with what looked like rodent teeth marks on the packet, I walked back and the cashier just smiled and said "sorry." Sorry doesn't cut it in that area, he is lucky I am writing this review instead of the alternative. They just lost a weekly customer.

Small little place that packs a punch. Gyros are wonderful and the sauce. The service is great, very nice and friendly there.

Good food, good prices, all in all amazing chicken. The secret menus items are superb as well.

Found this restaurant on Yelp and thought I would give it a try. Boy am I glad I did. Got a Super sized lamb gyro, plenty of meat and a yummy gyro sauce. Fries were tasty but best of all was the Baklava. Will absolutely be making this a regular place to pick up lunch or dinner.

From the outside, this place doesn't look the most inviting, but I've passed by it so many times and I was really hungry, so I decided to it a try. The men who served me were very nice. I ordered a gyro with banana peppers and feta (they cost a little extra). The gyro was huge, and filling, and I loved that they were generous with the sauce such that it wasn't dry at all. If you're out east, definitely give this a try.

It's a simple, small place with lots of flavor! It's like a hidden gem. We always order for pickup & we've never had a problem. I love the Greek Fries; they're pretty addicting. I've only gotten the gyros but my family loves the hummus & the bowls. It's my go-to for Greek food on this side of town. It's really tiny & ive seen the reviews complain about delivery but I've never done it that way so I can't say. Everything has always seemed very nice to me.

We ordered the gyro pack and falafel bites and fried mushrooms. Loved the food! Gyro meat was very juicy and tender. Their sauce tastes like a sour cream base and is super good. I like extra sauce on my gyros and did not need it on them. We will order from them again for sure!

this was my first time ordering from here. i originally came in to get baklava because i had been craving it but then saw the menu and decided to order other things as well. i came in and ordered my food and they told me it would be about a 15-20 minute wait so i sat in my car and waited out there. when i came back in, my food was all ready. the two men i saw working there were both very sweet! the food is amazing and i'll definitely be coming back! their baklava definitely satisfied my cravings, 10/10!!

Seriously not sure how they stay in business considering the reviews! Unfortunately, I didn't read them first! My story is through Uber eats. I ordered on a Thursday night and wondered why my order was never being delivered. It was over an hour late! I had to call the Uber custom service and found out there were no drivers out. Didn't have one speck of food! So can't say on the quality of food there. This is for the service. They refused to refund the order. The one star is the lack of wanting new customers and the fact they should already know that they shouldn't advertise on week days when there is low volume of drivers-you can change it to weekends only! Best to open your cupboard and cook something decent than wasting your time here.

Great little gyro place by home. Their gyros are really good. Nice people too. My mom always sends me here for lunch or dinner when she is hungry and I'm glad she does.

On my mama, they have the Best Cajun gyro I've ever had. A hit every. Single. Time. I've been eating the same thing for years and have *never* had a problem so sorry I can't tell y'all about the other food (I mean they are big fat *gyro* lol) but the service is great and food is fast, no matter what time! I tell all my coworkers to order this about once a week on Grubhub and we mostly get the same thing; some people get lamb, and they love it as well!

My family and I order from here about once a month, never had any complaints with food or quality. Today I ordered hummus with the meal, as I often do, and it was watery and clumpy. I gave 4 stars bc the food is usually stellar. Hopefully the hummus will be better next time!!

Definitely our go to Greek place. Their big fat gyros are massive and super tasty. The kids love their fries. The baklava is the best we've found in central Ohio, so far. The prices for a combo meal can't be beat. We typically have two meals or at least a meal and a late night snack from one combo meal with the big fat gyro. They also have the best falafel with the Greek dipping sauce.

I ordered through GrubHub the food got here in a decent time. it was hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken tenders with french fries and the lamb with rice both were very good. I can only imagine what the food is like at the restaurant

Stopped here a few weeks ago for lunch, wanted a Gyro. and small Greek salad. The service was nice in this little place. I got what I wanted to go. The sandwich was stuffed nicely with everything on it, and the salad was good with lots of cucumber, black olives and feta cheese. The dressing was light and not too oily. Good flavors on both. The food here is really inexpensive and everything is made fresh and to order. It is nothing fancy just basically an indoor stand. Thus the 3 stars, no restroom nice tables or even heat on inside. They do have a few chairs so you can wait on food and an old TV. I see why prices can be kept low. You will find this place over by Dollar General store, near Refugee on the far southeast side of the city on the way to Brice or Pickerington.

Was in C-bus for work for a couple weeks in January 2015, found this place close to my hotel and had to check it out. I like a single crispy ball of falafel in my chicken gyro/kebab/whatever and some places give me grief about it. This guy was like "you want a WHAT? OK, whatever you like, I'll make it." Proceeded to tell me that the falafel was the Egyptian owner's mother's recipe yadda yadda... OMG Good stuff. If you get the Big Fat Gyro, be prepared. Thing is HUGE. And I know Tony Fuccillo, so I know HUGE. Ended up going back 3 more times in the course of 2 weeks. I miss it now as I am typing this. =(

The food was all breading. The mushrooms when the breading was removed were all about half dime sized. The mozzarella sticks had almost no cheese. All breading. Onion rings were good along with the salad. When I called to let them know, they said they don't do them theirselves, they are pre-ordered. Said they couldn't do anything about it. I had great portions and taste from The Funny Greek.

Do not come here! My friend ordered shrimp and they gave him mushrooms and when we asked him to switch the order he said no you paid for that and he kept getting smart the food was cold the meat was raw they took a extra 3 dollars out of my account just a overall messed up place.

I stopped in one day coming from Dollar General and the rice bowl caught my eye on the menu!! It was spectacular!! A hearty bowl of rice,lamb meat, and vegetable mix!! I have to have it at least once a week now!!

I "Falafel" (feel awful)for writing this But.... We went in to try some place new, Then had to wait to order as there was no one at the register, then when we did try to order but the guy did not make eye contact with us, was very skittish and stressed and basically we could not even hear what he was saying, but he finally shook his head and told us that he was out a falafel. On a a Friday night at 6:30 your out of Falafel?? So we left in a state of being Dazed and Confused, as to what just happened!! Needless to say it was very disappointing to not have Falafel at a falafel serving restaurant!! Also the restaurant was kind of grungy looking, but even still we were willing to give it a try. I give it one star, but really if I could, I would give them as many stars as they did us Falafel!! Instead of this place being called my Big Fat Gyro I will now call it "My Big Fat Disappoint!"

WOW -- first time eating here -- we ordered off of UberEats .. everything was hot and DELICIOUS!! Can't wait to order again.

First time in and placed an order. I sat down and patiently waited for my food. After sitting there there for 15-20 minutes I asked if my food would be ready soon to get this response "your foods been ready for a while ". ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Have you seen this place waiting area no bigger than a closet. Very rude and poor customer service. The food wasn't even that good ( who knows it may have been if I would have gotten it fresh ). I will NEVER eat from there again

Ordered delivery through grub hub. Delivery time was as predicted. Food was decent but nothing special. Customer service is the reason for the low rating. We had ordered 2 orders of hummus, as well as extra pita for the hummus. When the order was delivered, nothing was said by the driver. We unpacked the food and discovered the hummus was missing. When we called the store, the 'gentleman' that answered, was quite rude and short, simply telling us that they were out of hummus. We asked for a refund for both the hummus and extra pita, and he said he would refund for the hummus, but didn't understand that we had ordered the pita for the hummus specifically. After 2 hours of run around with grub hub, we did finally receive the refund for hummus only. This entire episode, poor rating, and return customer could have been saved if they had only picked up their phone, called us and told us they were out. We won't be returning, for multiple reasons. As a last thought: what kind of Greek restaurant runs out of hummus?

Ordered food last night had it delivered. Absolutely amazing food was better then I thought it would be. Highly recommend people to try it out.
