Our family is big on BBQ -- like, *smoke-our-own-meat-on-the-weekends* kind of big. But let's be honest, sometimes you just don't feel like babysitting a smoker for six hours and scrubbing pans afterward. That's where takeout saves the day: all the meat, all the sides, zero cleanup.
After reading a ton of reviews (and debating like it was a family decision of national importance), we finally landed on *My Brother's BBQ*. We ordered a pound of brisket and a family rib meal that came with two sides -- we picked baked mac and cheese and potato salad. Oh, and there was cornbread too. Yes please.
Let's start with the ribs: solid win. Tender, tasty, fall-off-the-bone kind of good. The sides were on point -- mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the potato salad had that homemade vibe. But the real MVP? The cornbread. It was basically cake pretending to be bread, and we were *not* mad about it.
Now, the brisket... ehhh. It had great flavor, but it was on the dry side. Like, "where's the sauce?" dry. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 -- not terrible, just not the star of the show.
Can't say much about the service since we ordered through DoorDash, but everything was packaged like a pro and still warm when it got to us, which is always a small miracle.
Overall? We'd totally order from here again -- especially for the ribs, the sides, and that dreamy cornbread. Just maybe skip the brisket next time unless it's having a better day.
