This was an unexpected find of excellent food. Food was seasoned well, hot, and taste superb. We were definitely pleased with our meals. If you're looking for excellent BBQ food, give then a try. We throughly enjoyed our meals. Great portions for your buck. Ashley was a welcoming server and knowledgeable about the menu. Everyone there was pleasant and inviting.

Google
New location, where Shindig used to be. Amazing food! We shared the three meat combo.. brisket, Georgia sausage and pulled pork. Baked mac and cheese and baked beans and the best corn bread. Highly recommend!! Went today for lunch with a friend, amazing Looking forward to having our holiday party there!

First time here to order takeout. I wanted to not like it, because it is so expensive. $6 for ice tea, come on now. It seemed really busy, there were allot of people waiting for pickup orders. The hostess was nice. She took our order and then had to call someone else over to take payment. We were told 30-45 minute wait for food. We noticed so many inefficiencies while we waited. After the wait we noticed our food come out. The hostess looked at it and walked away. Again the other worker was taking payment for another pickup order. It was not until after that customer was done did that worker give us our food. I don't want to come back, but I am gonna have to. The food was awesome. I know it is a new business, I really wish them well.

Google
Been going to the old location and ordering take out for a while but MAN THIS NEW LOCATION IS GREAT! Love it here. Tons more space, great location in general, cool vibes I’m sure they’ll only improve on as they start settling in. I’m going before grand opening and it was already another great experience. Will be coming here more often now that it’s a bit closer to the turnpike.

Google
I have been looking forward to trying them now that they have a nice, larger, convenient location. I ordered a brisket dinner with 2 sides (fried okra & onion rings) to take out. For the money charged, they provided a skimpy amount of brisket (4 thick slices - see photo) - it tasted good but the amount was very disappointing. The side dishes were okay, the corn bread was good but they need to provide more of the brisket if they are going to charge that much.

Google
I work in various places around southern Florida. Came across this little BBQ place. Was not disappointed one bit! Tried the 3 meat plate with Green Beans, Mac&cheese. The meats were the fried ribs, brisket, and pulled chicken. All of which were amazing! Yes, I will return for more!!! ....and the cornbread!!!!!!! Busy place, a little wait time but well worth it. Friendly atmosphere.

Google
I haven’t had better bbq in psl. Ribs were straight competition level. Mac and cheese was amazing and the collard greens were the best I’ve EVER had. Sam’s customer service was top notch and paired perfectly with a great meal. Can’t wait to come back!

Google
As everything closes so early here in PSL ,I was happy that this place was atleast open until 10. I hate arriving within 1 hr of places closing because service and food lack but not here . Everyone was super inviting and the food came up piping hot . We all got the 2 meat platter .I got brisket with fried rib tip, candy yams ( best I’ve tasted besides my own ) and baked Mac and cheese . My son went to the old location and kept raving about the cornbread and he was right ! Biggest shock was was the music selection 🙌🏽 Great R&B, some J. Cole and etc. In PSL ??? Yes,this is exactly what’s needed . I’m going to manifest some good brunch, karaoke ,game watching event days because that will get this place wall to wall! Go and enjoy!

Yelp
The food and service was very good, I will come back again, the smoke ribs are delicious.

Yelp
The restaurant is located in a plaza to the right of gas station and a barber shop. It's a small place ..offers seating up front for maybe 12 guests comfortably. It was super busy when I walked in. I ordered my food online. My food was ready when I got there. Good food! Great sides! I ordered fried chicken wings tossed in a honey hot lemon pepper sauce- the wings were a bit over battered to my liking and the flavor of the wings could have been turnt up a notch. The sides? Delicious. The sides gave down south and I loved them-collard greens, baked beans, baked macaroni and cheese, and yams. So good. I'm looking forward to actually trying the bbq next visit-maybe the meats sampler. Thank you for great food and service!

Yelp
Second time at My Brothers Bbq and if this place was closer to my house, I'd eat there 2 x a week, no lie. Once again...I devoured my meal before I remembered to take pictures but don't worry, I'll be back soon. They have the BEST collard greens anywhere.
google avatar

Laura H.

Yelp
Stopped in on a whim. Didn't know they are here. The menu is pricey in my opinion. 6 wings are $14! I didn't care for the sauces. I had the brisket okay and water. $22. The beans apparently had a lot of sugar in them. Some people like that brown sugar but I don't care for it. No coleslaw is on the menu. The brisket was just ok. The cornbread was decent. The onion rings were ok. The bartender was attentive. Sorry. All in all, I am just not impressed.

Yelp
Our family is big on BBQ -- like, *smoke-our-own-meat-on-the-weekends* kind of big. But let's be honest, sometimes you just don't feel like babysitting a smoker for six hours and scrubbing pans afterward. That's where takeout saves the day: all the meat, all the sides, zero cleanup. After reading a ton of reviews (and debating like it was a family decision of national importance), we finally landed on *My Brother's BBQ*. We ordered a pound of brisket and a family rib meal that came with two sides -- we picked baked mac and cheese and potato salad. Oh, and there was cornbread too. Yes please. Let's start with the ribs: solid win. Tender, tasty, fall-off-the-bone kind of good. The sides were on point -- mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, and the potato salad had that homemade vibe. But the real MVP? The cornbread. It was basically cake pretending to be bread, and we were *not* mad about it. Now, the brisket... ehhh. It had great flavor, but it was on the dry side. Like, "where's the sauce?" dry. I'd give it a 3 out of 5 -- not terrible, just not the star of the show. Can't say much about the service since we ordered through DoorDash, but everything was packaged like a pro and still warm when it got to us, which is always a small miracle. Overall? We'd totally order from here again -- especially for the ribs, the sides, and that dreamy cornbread. Just maybe skip the brisket next time unless it's having a better day.

Teresa C.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere. Food: Brisket sandwich was good. Ribs were tough. Rib tips dried out $25. Watery, canned baked beans. Chicken leg quarter was very skimpy, size of a pigeon $22. One small piece of catfish heavily breaded $25. The cornbread was good. For the prices, I'd rather go to Sonny's Barbecue. We went to try them out in hopes of a new place to get good barbecue. Sadly, we probably won't go back. Service was good.

Celso F.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first visit at their new location. I had a mixed experience. Their food is the best BBQ in Port St Lucie. The new place is definitely larger, which is a good thing. Service was not bad, not the best. My main complaint was the walkie-talkie they used to call from the kitchen. It was really loud and VERY annoying. I realize that they moved from a closet like space to a much spacious location and growing pains are to be expected. My recommendations: find a better way to communicate from kitchen to main room other than LOUD radios. Keep the food the best in town.
google avatar

Hayley A.

Yelp
We stopped here to grab lunch and the food was really good! Server was super nice. The only complaint I would say we had was that the pricing was a bit high but we do prefer to support local businesses. The restaurant is small but they brought the food out to us pretty quickly and it's cool that they have a loyalty program. It's definitely a place to try out! We enjoyed it.

Yelp
I just had a religious experience at My Brother's BBQ in Port St. Lucie. I've tried just about every BBQ spot within a 60 mile radius... the ribs were perfectly tender, not too fall off the bone and not too firm with a consistent smoke flavor. I asked for a pound of fatty brisket and it was butter, absolute perfection. I put it up there with Apocalypse in Miami, Tropical in WPB... Id even go as far as Franklins or Salt Lick in TX. The breakout star of the meal was the Mac n Cheese, oh mama, it was bananas, and you can taste the love in every bite. To top it off, their sauces were artfully prepared, the right balance of sweet and tang to not over power the meat. Their menu is chock full of goodies, I need to come back and chip away at the rest of the items. Until then, I'll be basking in my meat sweats and sleeping like a baby tonight. Run to this place, truly a hidden gem

Yelp
Party of three went last night. People that were sat after us and ordered after us were served before we were. We waited 45 minutes for food and were walking out when the food came. It wasn't bad but never going back.

Yelp
I was stuffed only halfway through! I couldn't figure out what type of bbq this was but I think the way to describe it is the best soul food bbq. The ribs - you must try these! Pulled pork is so smokey and tender. The brisket is definitely another must try! Baked beans are delicious, fried okra is made with an in house seasoning, the best I've had! They know how to fry food! The cornbread has actual pieces of corn in it as well as some cheese baked in. The kids meal- tenders and baked Mac n cheese are pretty generous servings. The collard greens and flavorful and tender. Great service, you're made to feel right at home with food that tastes straight out of someone's home kitchen that loves cooking. It is fairly small but has about 6 tables to eat in. Many people picked up orders to go, they seem to have a very organized process for that. The portions are pretty generous, you could actually order less and share or pig out like we did and end up taking half of everyone's food home, which I won't be mad about when we eat the rest of it! Definitely my favorite bbq!

Mark C.

Yelp
Brothers BBQ just moved into the old Shindigs location, and while they're still settling in and the décor is a little sparse, the food more than makes up for it. Honestly, this was the best BBQ I've had in years. We ordered the rib tips, mac and cheese, cornbread, and beans. All of it was outstanding, but the cornbread... wow. That alone gets an 11 out of 10. Rib tips were tender and full of flavor, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, and the beans rounded everything out perfectly. The service is outstanding! Michelle served us at the bar and she gave us great food and sauce recommendations. Our food came out really quickly. Lots of people waiting on tables and getting seated and served without a wait. If you're looking for legit, soulful BBQ in Port St. Lucie, this is the spot. Once they finish moving in, this place is going to be unbeatable. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Sabrina one of the owners greeted us as we walked thru the door. She was nice and friendly. The sitting space is small but cozy enough to enjoy your meal. The food is delicious. The smoked brisket was so tender, the fried rib tips were seasoned well. I am not a big rice eater, but really enjoyed the peas and rice. The yams were to me and my hubbys liking. Hubby said he thoroughly enjoyed all of his meal. The mac n cheese, yum. The cornbread was moist and tasty. We had a chance to talk with Sabrina and James after our meal about their Food Network experience. They were a joy. We will definitely return when we visit Port St. Lucie again.

Yelp
Food was very tasty ribs and brisket Mac cheese collards all excellent.. our server said they are moving in October to another location but we'll be back before then .

Yelp
Found this place on yelp , had nice reviews , was in the mood for Bbq . gps took me to a joke in the wall with mirror glass . Built next to a gas station , off the main roads . I was hesitant , but turn out great . Place does a large Rajeev out, but has like 6 tables to eat inside . Friendly people behind the counter . Large menu , and the food was so good . I had ribs , brisket, Mac n cheese and corn bread . All very good . Excellent Bbq . I live over an hour away , but I was riding my bike , so long drive , but I won't forget this place . Took some food home and made it my supper watching Miami U football

Ukulele L.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in PSL by far. Sabrina is as amazing and impressive as she is beautiful. She has a fantastic memory. Her food is always Great! Everyone there is genuinely pleasant. I'm a regular, I keep coming back because the food is so good and the people are warm and friendly. LOVE THIS PLACE! You will never be disappointed. #familylovebbq

Yelp
It's a small location but with big business. Nothing too fancy inside, the magic is in the back. They cook up probably the best BBQ food we've had in a while. Get there early, because the place gets packed. People are walking in and out with orders. The service was 5 stars, everyone from the owners and supervisors made us feel welcomed. Next time we driving through PSL, we will definitely make a BBQ pit stop.
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best ribs and sausages I ever had! Just cooked to perfection! 100% recommend to anyone, I was passing by the area and made a detour to give it try and I Wouk tell you it's 100% worth the detour. I would've drive there over the weekends for their ribs! And the corn bread is crusty and just hit the spot! The ladies are very friendly as well. You will be wowed!
google avatar

Justin D.

Yelp
The food here is phenomenal it has all of the flavors you'd want, it rich food. Meaning it's tasty and soulful. I have no complaints other than I missed out on getting a slice of the Pistachio Cake. The person that makes the cake wasn't available during my visit. They get a pass lol. Hopefully I can get a slice next time. The service and attentiveness to the customer was superb. The location a lil small but cozy and clean. Clean seating area, kitchen and bathroom thats a plus. The music on the radio is good choice. Overall my experience was on point can't wait to go back when Im in the area.
google avatar

joy h.

Yelp
Great service and wonderful hospitality. The location is a little cramped, which ensures you're eating food everyone likes! Ordered the shrimp/ catfish nuggets plate ...the one nugget that was edible tasted very good. Others were burnt beyond recognition and inedible. Added a side of ribs, which were cooked to perfection with seasoned greens and buttery green beans to seal the meal. Other diners had pulled chicken and sausage, which looked juicy and flavorful! Overall, I would definitely return to try some other sides as well as the other meat choices.

Yelp
Brilliant hole in the wall find. As an exiled Texan I appreciate brisket and this was great
google avatar

Diane R.

Yelp
We went for the 1st time. Its just a quaint hole in the wall in a neighborhood. Nice ladies that work here. Husb had the rib plate with sides of mac & cheese and baked beans, Cole's with a piece of cornbread which is so yummy and cake like. The ribs were tender and perfectly smoked, he really enjoyed; the mac n cheese was homemade, baked beans good too. I'd had the smoked chicken 1/4 which was all and a bit dry, beans and collards. Their bbq sauce is very yummy.

Yelp
I'm in PSL for Mets spring training and was looking around for some place for dinner. I got in the car thinking I'd go to a Cuban spot, but I realized I was further than I thought and I'd arrive 10 mins before closing. There was a barbecue place where the food looked good, but their pictures told me they align with the type of "patriotism" I am very much not aligned with and would have no desire to spend my money with them. I then found "My Brothers Barbecue". It was a little out of the way and when I pulled up to the address and saw the gas station I thought I got something wrong, but next door sure enough was a small restaurant. After I ordered, I read the news write-up on the wall and realized I was standing in a Black owned business and one that values setting up a place that serves everyone regardless of race and gender, and any other identity. After reading this, I mentioned to the lovely young woman who took my order, Sasha, that I was so happy I stumbled upon this place. I mentioned the other barbecue place and let her know I was excited to eat a Black owned business that values diversity. Sasha also came over and chatted with me for a few minutes while I waited for my food which was a highlight of my visit. All the food was very good. I did the two meat sampler and got to try the sausage, brisket, collard greens, candied yams and corn bread. I also added a side of fried okra. The stars of the show were the sausage, candied yams and corn bread. The okra was so nicely seasoned, the corn bread was moist and fluffy and those sweet potatoes were amazing! If you are in PSL for the Mets, it is worth the drive away from the hotels and Clover Park! Highly recommend. Apologies for the bad car pictures of the food. My only regret was not eating in and chatting more!
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
A bit pricey (especially the wings) ... but man it's delicious. Highly recommend the fried pork chop and Georgian sausage. Everything I've had has been spot on so far.
google avatar

Jonathon J.

Yelp
Always good! My favorites are the chicken wings. The magic batter is so good. My other go to are the smoked ribs. So flavorful, tender and perfectly cooked. Do not miss the cornbread of the desserts either.
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Best bbq that I had in a very long time. Great portion sizes. One of my favorite places.

Bill H.

Yelp
Ribs were good, but not as good as I can make. Ditto for the brisket. Cornbread was outstanding. Frozen crinkle cut fries were barely cooked. Frozen onion rings were pitiful. The baked beans had some type of awful seasoning making them inedible. So make fresh hand cut fries, homemade onion rings, and ditch the seasoning on the beans and you'll be on to something. Service was very good.
google avatar

Martin M.

Yelp
This is an update from my first visit in '21. I loved it then and they have only gotten better. Rib dinner is a winner still. Brisket sandwich. Fried shrimp. Collards and beans and all sides superb. The onion rings (obviously commercial) blew my mind! Best soul food I have ever had. From Sylvia's in Harlem to Montgomery Alabama or Atlanta GA. Stone Soul Picnic!
google avatar

LA J.

Yelp
Home cooked meals for everyone here at My Brothers BBQ. The young lady who took our order was informative, kind and respectful. They are located next to a gas station and there is limited seating. Food is semi made to order but worth the wait. I ordered the oxtails that came with rice and beans and two sides. I chose the okra that was nicely seasoned and the collard greens that reminded me of how my grandma cooked them. My husband ordered the fried ribs plate with Mac and cheese and candy yams. He ate all of it plus what I couldn't finish. Both meals came with homemade corn bread . We also had two slices of vanilla and lemon cake that were displayed on cake stands. I forgot to take a picture of the cakes y'all but I shall return for them:) God bless the grandmother who is still baking the cakes. I sense that these are her recipes and they are delicious and truly represents a beloved tradition... "A walk down memory lane "

Yelp
Back again. Can't believe it's been 2 years since I was here. I got the two meat plate for $24. It comes with two meats, cornbread and two sides. I'm a bbq connoisseur. I usually smoke my own meats, but haven't had time lately. Anyway, I got the ribs and brisket along with bbq beans and mac n cheese for the sides. Let me tell you... all of it is made with love. The pit master knows his stuff! Everything was absolutely delicious. I'll be back sooner vs. later! You can pick moist or dry brisket. I pick the moist without fail. The sauces included were excellent also...a sweet bbq and a honey mustard. I put the left over bbq sauce on the mac and cheese and it was mmmm good!
google avatar

Alfie L.

Yelp
service is excellent and the BBQ dry rub is out of this world tasty and flavorful! must go, hidden gem. price is reasonable. unfortunately i ordered the fried fish, which tasted earthy. so please order the BBQ items, they're the best
google avatar

Mike M.

Yelp
Great food, don't be discouraged by the outside. Service and food is top notch. Our favorites were the sausage, backed beans and Mac. Brisket and pulled pork close 2nd.
google avatar

A V.

Yelp
Had the catfish, fried ribs, smoked ribs, fried pork chop, and chicken wings they were phenomenal. Everything was expertly seasoned. The baked beans are the best Ive had in my whole life. The cornbread, the mac & cheese were really good. Most places charge a lot and give you small portions. They charge you appropriately and you get the appropriate amount of food. Staff is nice and super cool
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
My Brothers is THE REAL DEAL. Real food cooked with love. Highly recommend. Only downside is tight seating, but food is so good I don't mind. Best BBQ I have had in FL. Give My Brothers a try you won't regret it.
google avatar

Yelp
The food is fire. This is a hidden gem of a place. Nice beer and drink selection. Seeing Modelo makes me happy. The store has a local neighborhood vibe and service is courteous and friendly. Shout out to Isabel. I've delivered for them a few times and the aroma in my car is torture. Figured I give it a shot with the good reviews and all the meats were perfectly smoked and flavorful. Ribs have a nice dr. Pepper color and have a nice bite and easy tug off the bone which is ideal. Chicken is smoky and tender. Brisket is solid. Collards are nice. I haven't had much in my life, but they taste right. There's a balance of greens flavor, salt, & a hint of pork. The fried Okra is pretty much inhale-able. The pigeon peas & rice are a unique option and are a nod to some Caribbean flare and maybe roots? Rice is nice and firm and the peas enhance the flavor. A bit sad when I ran out, I finished the last of it with jasmine rice. Dairy allergy limits me from trying everything, but using my other senses, probably the most decadent looking corn bread I've seen yet and it smells like childhood (I gave it to my sister). All the sauces go great with the meats and I like to dip the okra in them like fries. I like the carolina bbq sauce with the bright mustardy taste and sweet tanginess and the original is peppery and smoky. If you like sweeter, honey bbq is for you. Like all good bbq you need a nap after, but I felt somewhat lighter than other bbq experiences. This fed me for 2 days for pretty much the whole day. Hella dank food. Slide thru.

Deez N.

Yelp
Absolute hidden gem. One of the best chicken sandwiches i've had in a while. Top tier vibes in the restaurant. Service was great everyone was happy and vibing with the place. Can hear the music from the back, just all around a great place to be!!

Joan L.

Yelp
amazing experience the food is sooooo good!!! we had the sample and the brisket everything was good . the home made sauce is so great ! that staff was so helpful and kind they really made you feel welcome and cared for.

Shannon T.

Yelp
My Brothers BBQ had excellent side dishes. The pork sandwich was outstanding! I highly recommend the sandwich. I also tried the brisket, but it was too salty for my preference but the overall flavor was decent. Would go back for some side dishes and to try the ribs. We ate in the restaurant and it was consistently busy!

maria s.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! My go to is the Oxtails Dinner! FIREEEEEEE! The best oxtail I've ever had! It's so savory, comes with rice and 2 sides, I love their baked beans and yams, and their cornbread is to die for! Hooked since day one!

Armani S.

Yelp
I ordered Togo food for oxtails. I get there in 20 minutes and they tell my boyfriend they forgot to put the order back. we paid and waited. When we go back in and they tell us they were sold out of oxtails...so we drove 25 mins and waited almost an hour for nothing! Horrible communication! There was also flys everywhere and dead flies on the table.
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
I'm very happy to find a BBQ place so near me. What is great is that the ribs are exceptionally good. The ribs are well coated in some kind of a rub that tastes super on its own without any sauce. We were given 4 different sauces, but we just use one of the bottled ones. We'll be back to try other stuff on the menu. The restaurant is a small joint beside the gas station. Most orders are to go.
google avatar

Yelp
Soul satisfying down to the bone! We were driving through Port Saint Lucie and Googled Soul Food near my location read some reviews and OMG definitely worth the detour for us. We ordered the smoked ribs,Mac and cheese collards and 3 meat sampler large potatoes salad (Sabrina put her foot in that lol if ya know ya know) Georgia sausage wish I bought 4 more of those yum. We can't say enough about how James and Sabrina and her brother have done a fantastic job everything was down home goodness. We will be driving back on purpose next time.
google avatar

Ronald R.

Yelp
The food here is top notch! From the pulled pork to the fried catfish, from the sweet potatoes to the okra all was delish and cooked to order! If you want satisfying food at competitive prices then this is your spot! We will be back again and again!

Randy I.

Yelp
Great ribs, brisket, collard greens, cornbread. Small family run restaurant with great soul food. Eat in or carry out. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Yelp
I drove all the way from Broward County for a plate. It's totally worth the drive. The service was excellent, The interior was super clean. The place smells amazing. The food came out very quickly. I had the smoked brisket with smoked ribs and smoked sausage, Colored greens, and baked mac. Everything on that plate was delicious. The ribs We're so soft and moust, I hardly had to chew. The brisket had such an incredible smoke ring around it. It was so juicy and tender. I couldn't have enough. The collard greens and the baked Mac were amazing as well. Nothing on this freaking plate disappointed! The cornbread, THE FREAKING CORNBREAD!!! Holy Hell! Cornbread was the best I ever had, It had chunkes of corn in it. I had some of the fried okra as well, and it was delicious; fried beautifully. It was the best barbecue place I have ever been to. This is the spot! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and come grab a plate. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
We end up getting the sampler ribs sausage chicken and mac and cheese onion rings corn muffin it was really good definitely recommend trying this place
google avatar

Ruberli C.

Yelp
We tried a few options, most were very good. The brisket was a little dry but the house bbq sauce made it better. It was good enough for us to eat there two nights in a row.

Yelp
This place is a small little hole in the wall establishment. The food is the star of the show here. You won't find run of the mill food here. The favorite things for me are the ribs, brisket, rib tips and fried pork chop. For sides I prefer the Mac n cheese- let's stop and take a moment to adore how good their Mac n cheese is. It's out of this world. There are usually 2 camps when it comes to Mac n cheese- the wet version which to me is easy to make and doesn't taste like much more than what it is. That's fine but this place does baked Mac n cheese, which for me is so much better. Instead of the slippery texture some wet Mac n cheese has, this has a nice cheesy top that is drier and much more delightful than the regular old Mac n cheese. The baked cheese is all through the pasta and I don't think I've ever ordered a plate without it here. The candied yams are also out of this world and the greens are delicious also. Despite this place being a little far from my home, I order it via Uber eats usually- it costs more but it is worth it to get a meal of this caliber. I toggle between the 2 and 3 item combinations. Both come with 2 sides. I will also say that when I have gone to the actual restaurant I found that the ppl working there are friendly and nice. I felt at home and if it weren't so far from me I would be happy eating there as well.
