Chicago-Area Restaurant Openings For Spring 2018 - Eater Chicago

"ANDERSONVILLE— The former Lucky’s Mexican Restaurant/Pecking Order space has a new tenant. It’s called My Buddy’s, and it’s a neighborhood bar that has nothing to do with the toy from the 1990s. It serves American pub food with twists including the veggie Beyond Burger." - Ashok Selvam

My Buddy’s is a bar/restaurant with great food ! Very delicious ! They have Drag Bingo, Trivia Night, Football night, lots of fun activities for different nights of the week ! Noise levels are dependent on the nightly activity . If you come early, you can get a table! If you plan to come with a large group or later, you may want/need to reserve a table ! (Depends on activity - definitely want to reserve a table for Drag Bingo ! )

Incredibly fun bar with great energy and friendly patrons. I've been to a lot of drag shows, but never have I ever been so impressed. Very diverse and talented group of drag Kings and Queens who are dedicated to their craft. The fact that some of the performers are classically trained really took the show up several notches. They really get the audience involved in the show, so you stay engaged, and on designated nights, the audience gets to cast a vote for their favorite performer. They have decent bar food, kitchen stays open pretty late, the drinks are great, and it's a nice touch that they offer specials named after the performers! It's a great date night or friends night out option. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. They have paid street parking out front, no issues with it being over run and there's an on site ATM and QR codes for tipping in case you forgot case to tip the acts.

We had a really poor experience here. We had to ask three separate times just to get enough forks to eat. Part of our order was never put in, and our server seemed more focused on figuring out her tips before leaving than actually taking care of our table. Don’t expect condiments unless you track someone down, and if you’re looking for AC, it’s only in the very back. If you want to actually enjoy a meal, I’d suggest going somewhere else.

Google
Looking for food one late night after a concert, I found Buddy's (the owner Brian kept the kitchen open for us)! This is an incredibly fun bar, and the food is amazing for bar food. I then was told it was a Buffalo Bills (& Packers Bar), so I had to come back! Having been here twice now, this place is an amazing spot. The owner, Brian, genuinely cares and wants to make everyone happy and has custom food and drink menus for the sporting events. Also, lots of free celebratory drinks here while watching and listening to the games! Pro Tip: If you're a Bills fan who wants to enjoy the game with others while also having your personal space (not too crowded like the official bills bars in Chicago), then THIS is the place for you. Hope to see many of you here!

Google
Food is great and service is fine but the owner seriously needs to do something about the AC. It was cold as a cucumber last year so it’s not like having decent AC isn’t possible. It feels like the owner just wants to save money on electricity and one day that negligence is going to wind up with a drag performer passing out or worse. It has become a health hazard.

Google
Was so great to come in be given the rudest service, asked how they're doing and they said "well I'm here"...sorry about your trash Soviet tattoo but also charging me $20 for a beer and a shot makes this place somewhere I won't return.

Google
My Buddy's is Drag Show with other events held at place. DRAG BINGO, the food and drinks are great too. Just returned to another great show. Buddy's Drag Shows was awesome. Go with friends good profromances .

Google
This place is an absolute blast on Thursday nights. They have Drag Queen bingo where you can win prizes and drag queens perform throughout the night. Food is decent for bar food but you’re not coming here for the food. I simply adore all the queens who work here. Excellent customer service BTW by servers and management. If you’re having a birthday or bachelorette party, do it here. Street parking is easy.

Yelp
Food was ok...tacos. The shrimp taco with the spicy slaw was good. Service was extremely slow. There were three of us. All of our food came out at different times. Lemonade was basically lemon water. And it was really cold in there. There's no inside door to block wind when someone comes in and out.

Yelp
Not the usual spot I will visit but I was a judge this evening for comedy night. Friendly people. Fair atmosphere. Drinks were not all that tho

Yelp
Great spot. If you live in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out! Went tonight to watch a friend perform in a play (Clash on Clark is the quaint venue upstairs) This place is exactly the type of space that you want in Chicago. Local Arts... food, drinks, welcoming staff on all levels. Chicago, you know what we've been missing in the past few years and this place is picking it up.

Yelp
Warning: this review may make some bold claims and contain undue hyperbole and rambling insanity in favor of the Green Bay Packers. Please do not proceed unless you're willing to tolerate that or if you just hate warnings in general. My Buddy's is my buddies or are my buddies. Or My Buddy's my buddy. I dunno. Anyway, they make you feel at home here. We went there last night, in search of a Packer bar somewhere near Uptown. They took our reservation gladly and they were nice and direct on the phone, as in, "It's gonna be busy during the game. Show up at least half an hour before the game, even with a reservation." It wasn't as packed as I was expecting, but I do believe that every table was reserved in advance, so I would recommend reservations for a game. For the Packers-Bears game, they had the raving Packers maniacs in the bright back room and the somber Bears fans in the dimly lit front room, though it wasn't enforced or anything like that. It felt pretty civilized overall, to almost everyone's credit. The food is decent, by bar standards. We had Muchacho Totchos and the highlight, besides tots, was the pico de gallo at the top. It tied the whole room together and all that, just like The Dude's rug. Also, we tried the guacamole, which had a strong lemon flavor, but it was good and not salty at all. They had RC Cola on tap, so we were super duper enthused. The stars of the show, though, are the other fans, the staff, DJ and the owner (Brian) walking around with a microphone. It is loud. My left ear was ringing after the game, but it all made for a very exciting and engaging gameday experience. (I was debating just watching the game at home, but I'm glad that we went.) They also gave away NFL stuff during halftime during the drawing. Both Bears and Packers fans who won were mildly happy. As a bonus, it's very LGBT friendly. Everyone comes as they are and there's good diversity and representation among staff. Good unity and good times. We'll be back for another game and we're also looking forward to going to one of their karaoke nights.

Yelp
Photos from the email where Cheryl made up lies about me requesting to use my $25 gift card and then her ignoring me.

Yelp
They have a few tables outside and indoor by the windows. They have amazing food and service. We had the deviled eggs, tater tots, and cheese curds. Those deviled eggs are unreal! Do not pass on those. I also ordered my Thanksgiving dinner from them and the entire meal was spot on and so affordable. To top it off, for every 2 meals they donated the third meal to a local charity/artist/essential worker. This place is so down to earth and friendly. We need more businesses like them.
google avatar

Megan B.

Yelp
Was not informed when food was delivered so it was cold when I got it. The order of cheese curds is pretty small for the price. The chicken was also pretty dry and bland. I've eaten here before so I know it's good but this experience wasn't up to par

Yelp
I had heard glowing reviews about this place from friends, but I was like "how good can this place really be?" From the surface, this is a typical sports bar with a dash of Lakeview LGBT scene thrown in. Big deal? There's thousands of bars and grills in Chicago like this. However, the food and service make this place one of the best Chicago sports bar that I've ever gone to! I play in a kickball league and this is our sponsor bar. It's over a mile away from the field so I was a bit grumpy on why on earth we are coming here. I parked next to a cemetery so the night was already a bit weird. However, as soon as I sat down, all that changed. The bar is a bit oddly shaped and the whole front part is filled with fantasy football leagues. They put is in the back which was full of large and pretty nice tables. The owner (?) profusely apologized even though we probably got a much better table than just showing up. This is where the great service started. We got a welcome shot and two free small pizzas. Our server was also outstanding and did 10 different checks and was able to keep them apart. I've never seen that done in a restaurant ever and he acted like it wasn't a big deal. I mean, a group of 10 can be crazy. He also had nearly perfect memory with orders. My burger came with tots instead of fries so he quickly got me an order of fries without charging me extra and letting me keep the tots. He also made one too many drinks and asked if I wanted it. I said yes thinking I'd be charged. Nope, no charge due to his "mistake" (I tipped as if I was charged). This has to be one of the best servers I've ever had in a bar like this. As for the food, it was surprisingly good. The Buddy Burger might make it on my best burger list. It was perfect. Even though I don't like tots, these were excellent. They were so good that one of my friends tried one and decided to get his own basket. The drinks were good, but not excellent. I will give them credit for trying to do so many unique drinks. We were also there during trivia put on by drag queens. That was a crazy surprise and we won! At least we won one game last night! I was seriously impressed by this place and look forward to visit after my next game!

Yelp
My Buddy's is definitely on the divey side! It's got wood paneling and dim lighting, and is surprisingly large on the inside. There's a full food menu (highly recommend the burgers and salads!) and a decent beer list, however, they only have ONE beer on draft which is a bummer. The prices are also a little steep for the area, which is the main reason for 4 stars. Otherwise, service is quick and friendly and My Buddy's is set to become one of our regular spots.

Yelp
My partner and I went here for the first time last night to see Betta Fish performing. She slayed Category Is! We won a raffle for tickets to another show and will be back soon. Our server Josh was really funny and personable. Shoutout to his amazing karaoke performance! The bar is full of Gremlins and is equal parts queer and sporty. Awesome ambience. We liked that they serve food as well as drinks. Thanks Josh!

Yelp
Great bar, amazing food, and fantastic Packers game vibes! Plus 2 for 1 shots at halftime

Yelp
Server was completely overwhelmed and unsupported and took it out on the patrons. He physically pushed me twice as did the owner- I was not even in the way, there was plenty of room. They knew the event was sold out and did not hire proper staff to accommodate. Take better care of your staff.

Yelp
Full disclosure: I know some of the folks that own this place. I went there tonight to support their opening. Location wise, this is needed in the area. There really isn't a lot down on Clark near Montrose, so it will be nice to have a place to grab a burger and some wine without hitting the strip mall across from the cemetery. The food was solid. We ordered the Sloppy Joes, the crab cakes, fried green tomatoes and the My Bubby's Burger. All were very well done. I not a big fan of everyone's Sloppy Joes, this was nice. The sauce used was not too sweet and the meat had a good flavor of onions and bell peppers. The Heiress Apparent got the crab cakes. She thought they were good and like the sauce that was used. She described as akin to possibly an aioli or something with balsamic vinegar in it. Normally she is not a fan of sauces like that, but she said it complemented the crab cakes. My friend got the burger...it came with tater tots. Meat looked charbroiled and he cleaned his plate, something he does not do as he is a picky eater. There are plenty of TVs, which was nice as we got to watch the Loyola game (Go Ramblers!). Downside was there was not enough staff, but was not surprised by that at all. Most places do not have enough staff on their opening night and this was no different. There was a bit of a wait for food, but when it came out, it was hot and fresh. Brian (one of the owners) was lovely...working the bar and serving food, so props for that. And the owners were all open to suggestions on what to do to make the experience more enjoyable (malt vinegar for those fries and a small wine list that includes bubbles is a good start). They are planning on having a Mother's Day brunch with dueling pianos. Won't be able to make it, but wishing them the best. I will be back here once they get settled into a routine to re-evaluate my review. As I am a big supporter of local establishments, I am looking forward to seeing how My Buddy's evolves. This was a good start and I am looking forward to returning.

Yelp
Service: 20 out of 10 - the best server that kept us laughing and was just a joy to have! Food: great!! I had a chicken quesadilla with onions and peppers. Perfectly made with a nice crunch to it. Beer selection is nice as well! The owner came out and talked to my table, thanked us for coming to dine outdoors and support local - really great guy! Please give this place a try!!

Yelp
Great place to catch a comedy or drag revue! Amazing staff...great food and drinks. You're guaranteed a good time!

Yelp
Came for karaoke, got attitude from bartender. Male bartender in the back 3/6/20 preferred to serve people who would tip everytime. I gave tip money for my fiancee to give for the both of us and he only served her everytime I came to the bar. My order was only taken if no one was at the bar. My friends got the same rude treatment. Atmosphere rustic and very pleasant. DJ great. Would only come back for karaoke and get my drinks elsewhere before hand Edit: Okay so we requested a song since 10:30 and it is currently 1:00 and are still in the waiting list. It's not terrible. I'm sure the people who got to sing placed multiple songs ahead of time so we are still waiting out turn. The DJ tends to play a "intermission" song after everyone's turn so it will take longer for anyone to get a turn. I doubt we will get our turn to sing since this place closes at 2. If I could recommend a change it would be the DJ to only have an intermission if the next singer didn't step forward. Most likely won't come back Found out the bartender's name was "Mike". My friend, my cousin, and other people shared the same view. Hell we even tried to order shots but he refused to serve my cousin. Idk the reasons for such anger towards us and other patrons, but it is bringing the other pleasant employee's welcoming service down.

Jim K.

Yelp
Food was very good. Staff was excellent. It would be 5 stars if not for their slot machines. DO NOT PLAY THEIR SLOT MACHINES. They are a scam. They take your money and give you a promotional certificate for use on their website. I would suggest the owner remove the machine asap.

Yelp
One of their recent emails: "Even invite some Packer fans, since they're not doing anything this year." Wow just wow. Some "Packer bar." I was excited to have a new place that supported my team but clearly that's BS. Sad, I was starting to like this place because of the staff. Very warm and welcoming. However the food and drinks are over priced. Especially for a Sunday. Guess it's time to go back to Will's. They'd never promote the damn Bears

Sammi K.

Yelp
My Buddy's is my favorite bar!!! Amazing ambiance, great service, and amazing food!!! They have great entertainment too !

Yelp
Love love love the atmosphere, such a gray Staff and crowd, just an over gray place to be on any given night! Not to mention Drag bingo Thursday's and my favorite bar star Lexy!!

Yelp
A new spot to try out with neighbors. Loved that they had cheap cans, only on sale until they run out - $4.00 for a can of magners. The food was okay. I'm sure it will only get better though as they have a lot of custom here right now. ETA- left my bag there, came back 4 hours later to find it safe and sound with the contents there. Thanks Buddy's.

Yelp
My Buddy's has done an amazing job to go above and beyond following covid procedures in their reopening. The work My Buddy's has done to make the space a safe environment shows, if you didn't feel it already, that they genuinely care about the community.  They've created unique wall/table partitions, hand sanitizing stations located throughout the restaurant, disposable utensils are provided, contact-less payment options are available, and all staff are wearing masks and gloves. As always, the staff are kind, caring, prompt, and great conversation!  When you make a reservation, you're able to select indoor or outdoor seating. They've minimized their food menu and have kept some favorites! Their new pizzas are great, and I'm a personal fan of the new Off the Hook taco.  If you haven't felt totally comfortable dining out yet, I would recommend My Buddy's to dip your toes in the water. My Buddy's has set the standard of what restaurant dining should be like during COVID.

Yelp
My Buddy's is out to a great start, but I could tell they were still figuring out all of the kinks. It's a great location with a lot of potential, and I think if they listen to reviews, this will be a perfect neighborhood hangout. The menu has a lot of solid options that all sound delicious, and they offer some cans of cider and beer for as little as $4. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, and approachable. The music didn't necessarily match the decor/vibe, but that's not the end of the world. I loved the burger I ordered and the mountain of tots it came with. Plus, it was only $10. Their food is all very reasonably priced, about $10-15. As for complaints, there weren't any condiments/salt on the table, which was a bummer since the fries and tots weren't salted out of the fryer. Also, some people at my table felt their food was under seasoned overall. However, my biggest complaint is that our server put our orders in on separate tabs. So, we all got our food at different times. Mine came out about 10-15 mins after the first plate on our table. None of this is deal breaker stuff. Just little kinks that will be worked out over time. Overall, I look forward to watching this place grow and succeed in the neighborhood!

Yelp
Went to watch the nfl playoff game between the Rams and San Francisco. 2 of us arrived first and we tried to get a table or area to accommodate 8. There was a area curtained off but tvs were on behind it. We asked the bartender if that area would be open for the game and he snapped back sarcastically that the curtains would be open if it was going to be a area to sit in. We let comment Slide. We went up to the entryway and sat at the first table inside the door awaiting the rest of our group. No one approached our table to ask us for beverages. Close to fifteen minutes passed and still no server or bartender would approach us. Realizing there was no way we would spend our money in this place we started calling our gusset and telling them to go to Michael's on Broadway. When one more of our gusset arrived we explained to him what was going on and we sat another 5 or 6 minutes with no help from the staff. We stood up to leave and finally the bartender ran over and asked us what we wanted to drink. We said we were going elsewhere and low and behold the punk bartender started saying rude things to us. (Glad we left and glad we will never spend a dime there) I recommended to our group that we try this as a new place for us to get together as we often do. I'm very disappointed with my Buddies and I am going out of my way to let all my neighbors know not to support them. Smart ass bartender. Good luck.

Yelp
This bar is the absolute most fun I could have for a packers game. They're excited to be open and have wonderful energy. Couldn't have randomly picked a better packers bar to go to for game day.
google avatar

Errol B.

Yelp
I ordered delivery though Uber Eats. I had high hopes for this place, but I was sadly disappointed. The tater tots were so undercooked they feel apart when grasping them. The bacon on the burger might have been "smoked" bacon, but what ever it was, it was way too chewy and not crispy at all. The burger itself was also undercooked, grey, slimy , and tasteless. Not impressed.
google avatar

Corissa F.

Yelp
We love this bar, will come here for games rest of the season. Hand out shots like there's no tomorrow. Feels like a community when you walk in here... bingo on Thursday's too :)

Yelp
My family and I came here to watch the Packer's game yesterday and we had THE BEST TIME. The owner makes the whole experience so fun. Live DJ and the napkin throw after a TD was a hoot. The food was also delicious. We loved everything we ordered. You get a mini brat and beer when you order a Bloody Mary. I cannot wait to go back. The waitstaff were also very good.

R M.

Yelp
36 minutes agoNEW We live one block away. We've been here three times & not impressed at all. We were hoping it would improve so we waited to review, but today was the last straw. Starting with the good...service is fine. We went for bloody Mary's. It cost $13 per very subpar bloody. Very old looking celery and no meat stick as they ran out. Hello...it was 12pm & you just opened. The "special"buddy own beer was Miller. I know times are hard, but this place could be better & do better. No food today, but last time food was OK bar food. The people are nice enough, but we will go to Carol's Pub next time.

Tiffany P.

Yelp
I'm about a 5 minute walk from this place and been wanting to check this place out. I placed an order for pickup and got the buddy burger. It was delicious! Only down side was they had forgot to put bacon on it. I'll have to stop in next time for a drink!

Yelp
This place is the best! Fantastic neighborhood bar. Staff and ownership are exceptional. If you are looking for a great place for happy hour or a stop on your night out then look no further than My Buddy's. The staff is following all Co-vid regulations and they provide hand sanitizer. Couldn't feel safer. Also, a killer spot for all Green Bay Packers games.

Yelp
Wisconsin is as Wisconsin does. Love this place but I am also from Wisconsin! I was shocked to see someone in Chicago carrying Dr. Cherry McGillicuddy's!!!! They also have Karaoke, TVs, food, a beer pong table if you're into that and a great staff! The prices are amazing and it's always a good time. Tell your friends!
google avatar

Mackenzie G.

Yelp
I love My Buddy's! My friends and I already have a hundred memories there and we only started going there in August. The food has always been up to par (especially the Muchacho Totchos) and the well drinks always have plenty of alcohol. They have raffles on weekends for open bars and merchandise, and we always get emails around our birthday offering an open bar (just to the birthday boy/girl). The bartenders are very nice and getting drinks has never been difficult. The crowd is always a little different, sometimes it's a bunch of 30 year olds and sometimes its a bunch of 20 year olds. They even have karaoke on some nights My Buddy's is a great bar for a night was friends or if there's a game you're excited for. Good drinks and food, and a great time.
google avatar

Sarah K.

Yelp
We had such a great time here. We went to the house of horrors (?) show they had here with Lilith Towers and the atmosphere was so fun, the bartender and other hosts were so friendly and personal. We loved it and will definitely return.

Yelp
Our S3 league chose this new bar as the meeting spot after games. This place is new and a much-needed entertainment option in an otherwise "dry" and neglected neighborhood. This place has a few things they need to work out, though. What crowd are you trying to cater to? The prices are utterly not reflective of the area (Uptown). Pros: -Big interior -Much needed drinking option in the area -Beer pong table -Decent food Cons: -Prices ($5 for a small PBR and $8+ for most of the craft beers. Unacceptable!) -No prices on the beer menu -Not enough tables to accommodate large groups, like S3 league -No other nearby bars in the area, sketchy location (not their fault) -Only 1 protein option on appetizer menu, which isn't offered at half off for S3 (the wings). -Needs more deals to keep us here. One free drink ain't gonna cut it for S3. In comparison, McGee's Tavern has tons of specials and freebies that kept our league interested week after week. We got bored after an hour at this bar. I think this place has potential, but seriously needs to fix the pricing issue to get people to come back. Also needs a little more personality. It's pretty boring as it is currently.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
I'm happy that My Buddy's has opened. I want it to be a regular option for food and drink, so I'm hoping they can figure a few things out. They did a nice job with the space, and our group of 4 had a good time there, but after leaving we all agreed that we probably won't be back. Why? Because the prices are just too steep for a neighborhood spot like this. A pound of wings is $12. A pound of wings equals six wings. This equals two bucks per wing. Way too much. Tacos are $5 each. I needed three. Way too much. Beers? $8 per pint of a local brew. Way too much. While we found the food to be ok (nothing great or special), it's just too expensive to want to go back over and over again. I hope that ownership considers this before they price themselves right out of the neighborhood. I'd like My Buddy's to be a place that I'm happy to spend my money at.

Yelp
What a fun spot! A couple friends and I went for comedy night last night. Overall it was great and well worth the $5 ticket charge. The food and drinks were as expected for a bar and we weren't disappointed. The spicy Mayo for the cheese curds was so good! From a Covid perspective, I think generally they are making good efforts. The only thing that was odd is that we had a party of 3 and they sat us at a 4 top, which is normal. But then they came and sat another patron at our table in the middle of the comedy set. It was uncomfortable because we weren't too keen to have someone sit at our table who wasn't part of our party in the midst of a pandemic, but understood that they are trying to maximize profit after taking such a hard hit. Overall I'd definitely go back! Great service, food and fun!
google avatar

Liz K.

Yelp
SO happy to have My Buddy's in the 'hood. There isn't anything like it in the area, and Uptown needed it! Great food and GREAT service!z My only comment would be that it seems a bit $$$ for the neighborhood. $8 for Tito's Soda and $7 for fireball is a bit high. The tacos are good, but $5/taco is high IMO.
google avatar

Alec C.

Yelp
Came here to meet s guy for a date and was BLOWN AWAY! The drinks were FANTASTIC and the staff was the most friendly and accommodating one I have dealt with in Chicago!
google avatar

Steve S.

Yelp
We've gone to My Buddy's a couple of times now and it's a great neighborhood bar. The food is pretty typical bar food but well made and tasty. The beer list isn't huge but they have a broad selection. The highlight though is that the staff is really friendly and the service is great. It isn't a place that I think of as a destination bar. You aren't going to go out of your way to go there but if you're in the area it's a great place to hang out. It'd be a perfect place to stop by after a Cubs game if your want to have a few beers with friends a little outside of the Wrigley craziness. During Cubs season they are raffling off Cubs tickets so it's a good place to stop before a game of your don't have tickets.

Karina B.

Yelp
This place was a definite highlight of our trip. We flew in Saturday and after a long flight all we wanted was food and were so excited to see this place across the street. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed with open arms. From the younger bartender to the owner, they really embody the "my buddy's" lifestyle. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks even better! So glad to had been able to experience the buddy's lifestyle! We'll definitely be coming back whenever we are in town again

Yelp
Ill start with the positives. The space, nice waitress, tater tots and local drafts (yet $8). Now I understand they just opened, but they have some work to do on their food. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, which was supposedly marinaded in cajun seasonings, served on cold garlic bread toast, and loaded with about 12 pickles, lettuce and tomato and no sauce. Cajun chicken + soggy garlic bread + lots of pickles = not good sandwich. Again, the tots were real good and paired well with a local brew. My partner got a veggie burger and tasted just like a big Boca burger and for $12, you'd expect more. They are good with the wording of menu descriptions, but not what we saw on our plates. Many customers seemed to be ordering tacos and saw wings that looked good. I think we will give them a couple months and let them work out the kinks and improve food. I wouldn't quite say we're buddies yet.

Yelp
Cozy, friendly place with amazing tatter-tot nachos. Never even heard of such a thing but they were amazing! 10/10 will be back for the friendly staff and food

Yelp
This is a great place to watch a game, meet up with friends, or just hang out. They have beer pong tables, tons of TVs, and a great beer list. Most of all, however, you're always welcome when you go there. The owner is the nicest bar owner I've ever met. He works very hard to go around and make sure everyone is doing well and satisfied. The service is second to no other bar in the city. The food is great as well. Definitely a Wisconsin bar feel and the food menu matches that. Lots of cheese, bacon, and burgers. I heavily recommend giving it a shot. It's a bit out of the way but it's always a great experience.

Yelp
These guys are amazing. The food is on point and the service is impeccable. They know how to bring In a fantastic crowd and keep them entertained and happy. If you are ever in the neighborhood ask for McGady or Bondurant - they know how to do it! Most drinks are very reasonably priced and some of the higher end cocktails are only $6.50. !!! Keep up the good work and stop by MY BUDDYS for an amazing time.

Yelp
My friend brought me here because this is her FAVORITE bar. It has ample room and a number of beer pong tables....who knew. Drinks are great! Servers check on you frequently. It appears that food is put out for patrons to partake in. The wings were killer. Not too hot, not too spicy...just right. They have drawings for Buddy Bucks which can be used toward food and drinks. This is a great spot if you happen to be in the neighborhood. I drank, I ate, I played beer pong and won, and I even made a couple new friends. All in all a great Saturday if you ask me! Bike parking on street.

Yelp
Note to ownership/management - please put beer prices on your menu. Ordered a beer and when I got the bill I was shocked to see that beer cost $12. I had a great experience up until then and it caused me to leave with a sour taste in my mouth. (It was a Begyle beer which I could have gotten for $5 at the actual brewery just up the road. Really disappointing...)
