My Burger - St. Paul

Great food and a wonderful experience at the Grand Ave location. Our food was hot and fresh. We ordered the chicken burger and the fish burger. Delicious. Fries were hot and tasty. Leila was the best! Greeted us, took our order, asked if we wanted add-ons, served us our food and checked on us after all while helping other customers. Great customer service! Definitely recommend and will be back to this location again.

Spent the day in downtown St. Paul and decided to give this place a try for the first time. To say the least I was not disappointed with the food that we ordered, everything was so fresh and delicious environment was a very nice atmosphere. 10 out of 10 stars👏🏽👏🏽

Excellent food, service, and location (since I'm a student at Mac). I got September's Burger of the Month and it was immaculate (the onion rings were fantastic, too). Next time I'm definitely bringing a friend.

Got here at about 7 pm, outside was almost full but inside was pretty empty. Our order was taken quickly but it seemed like online/takeout took priority. After waiting through lots of takeout names called, our food came. The fries were cold, and the burgers were scorching hot. For all the five star reviews on the food I’m not sure how even if it was all perfect temperature it deserves that. Under seasoned, bland and pushed out is how I would describe it. The service was friendly but forgot all of our requests. Would I come back? No.

The onion rings are my all time fave. We love My Burger! The food is delicious and always tastes good. The assortment of toppings is so great. Love all the options. It’s fast and remains one of our favorite burger spots. Love that it’s locally owned too!!

I was quite disappointed with the service I received tonight when I went in to pick up my online order. When I arrived I asked the girl by the pick up counter if my order might be ready as I got there after the pick up time - she was a younger girl with black hair. I wasn’t sure if I needed to check in. It was hard to tell who had been helped or not as it was very crowded. I had waited a bit at first but thought maybe I had missed her calling it out since I was late, so I checked. This girl’s response was a very impatient, “I have nothing! Do you see anything on my counter?” I tried to say sorry and explain my thought process, and she just walked off. Another customer watched the interaction and, upon getting their order, brought it up to the girl that they felt she had spoken to me very rudely and that they hoped she would apologize. The girl said oh, yeah, sorry, I’ll talk to them. I waited a while longer. I noticed people who had just ordered at the counter getting their food before my long overdue online order. The girl had been calling out names as orders were ready, and there was a bag that had been set on the counter about 5 minutes earlier with no name that had been called out for it. I decided to try to check it out and saw my name on the bag. To confirm before just grabbing it, I asked the girl if that was my order and if it was ready, and she said “looks like it….”, and walked away. I had given her my name earlier when she had snapped at me, and it is very hard to believe that this slight wasn’t on purpose, especially since I had been there watching for so long and every other name was called out immediately once it was bagged. Despite telling the customer who had stood up for me that she planned to apologize, she never said a word to me. Our school was doing a fundraiser there tonight, so they were busy, but feeling overwhelmed is no excuse to be rude and unprofessional. Not only did I have a very long wait with no acknowledgment or apology (not that the wait in itself was problematic as I had expected it to be busy), but even after being called out on her rudeness, this employee made no attempt to make anything right, and possibly even went further out of her way to act spitefully. The food was fine if not a little pricey for a counter service restaurant, but nobody is going to quickly return to a restaurant with such unkind staff.

Beautiful place first time here and definitely not the last one, we eat everything thanks for everything guys and the milkshake no words

This location was excellent. My burger and onion rings were delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Overall, I’ll definitely be hoping to visit this location again the next time I go to My Burger.

They unfortunately aren't my favorite quick serve burger! I had a classic burger with lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and onions. It was fine, nothing special! The bun was soft and I love the variety of customizations (many free!) you can make. If you don't get all the special toppings, it's reasonably priced too @$10 for the burger and fries. I liked the fries - very crispy. They immediately lose a point for having bad, non-homemade ranch. Sorry, I don't make the rules hahaha. Service was sooooo friendly and quick. The vibe of the place is cool and there's a few parking spots in the back alley behind the place. If you want a quick, affordable burger, this is a fine choice!

I was skeptical of this chain it seemed to be the stereotype of the millennial Burger restaurant but then having their fries their burger their home made mayo. It's quite amazing. Also amazing milkshakes.

What a great fast food burger joint! This is our second trip this month to My Burger. They make your order fresh off the grill, which makes one tasty burger. You can add quite a few items to your burger, and their basil mayo & garlic mayo is so good. Friendly staff will help you decide on what's best for you, and they bring your burger right to you when it's ready. They have a clean dinning area, and fountain drinks or bottled sodas. They even have a few simple beers on tap as well. This is definitely our new quick service burger stop in the Twin Cities!

Burgers and fries were excellent, and the service was conspicuously friendly. Both the order taker and the dining room staff seemed happy and happy to be there, kind of uncommon for fast casual. Thanks MyBurger!

When I'm craving an impossible burger and don't want to break the bank paying for one OR don't want to cook it myself, I head to My Burger. I order online and pick it up myself. This last time I ordered it with a side of fries and a small side of onion rings (I couldn't decide which I wanted). Every time I pick up my meal I'm greeted by a friendly employee. As always, the impossible burger hit the spot. The fries were ok and the onion rings were hot, crispy, and not overcooked. Next time I would skip the fries.

I recently walked to My Burger one mid-afternoon to try one of their burgers and redeem a coupon for a free shake or malt with purchase. I approached the front counter and said 'hello' to the young woman there. She just looked at me. I said 'hello' again, and she replied with a meager 'hi'. Weird. I ordered a single burger and french fry basket along with a strawberry shake, paid, and was given a number card to bring to my table. Not more than a few minutes passed before the basket and shake arrived at my table. It was very quick, I suppose, because it was not the usual lunch or dinner time. The burger was heavily-laden with pickles, and I picked a few off because of their strong flavor. The fries were piping hot and tasty, and the strawberry shake was a sweet, cool complement to my salty burger and fries.

Veggie burgers now taste like cardboard with the new year. Quality gone down. Used to enjoy but not coming back for this kind of stuff.

The burgers was okay. One has all the fixing while my second double burger only have the meat and buns, no fixing. It was more like upon request lettuce, tomatoes, etc. the beef patty was a bit dry on the double. I went during dinner time so order did not take long the wait time for the food was about 20 minutes but service was good. The place has a higher traffic, so the cement floor was dirty but blends in with the cement.

The food and service are always good for fast food. As someone handicapped they have to do something to better indicate the handicapped spots, do something about folks parking in the handicapped spots illegally. The later happens every time I'm here.

This is my first time as my friend suggest it I have to say that this the best place I am visiting from California and I have to say the staff was just fabulous very caring about their customers in making sure they were in need of anything I am definitely coming back oh and the food was excellent

My husband picked up two burgers today that ended up in the garbage pail. He brought an email with the order written out and gave it to the woman at the counter. It said 2 double Impossible burger BOM minus the bacon with coleslaw. The BOM, Burger of the Month was a cheesy burger with fried onions on sourdough. We got unseasoned patties with a glop of mayo and a thin half slice of very soft tomato on hard buns. They were AWFUL! We have eaten many Impossible burgers but these were TASTELESS. And what the? Their employees don't even know what BOM means?

"My burger was good, lol. I ordered the California Burger, which consisted of a single patty. My wife ordered the Smoke Jumper, and we both got Cajun fries. The customer service was great! We had the option of dining outside or inside. The restaurant was very clean. The burgers smelled great. I suggest that Yelp updates their menu for My Burger.We will definitely be back! Five Guys might have some competition."

I ordered delivery, so I cannot comment on the physical location, but I *can* comment on one of the most amazing burgers I have ever had. I got the double jalapeno burger, cajun fries, and a mint milkshake. My order was prepared quickly and the food was cooked to perfection. I devoured the burger immediately and could barely finish the pile of cajun fries that came with it. The mint shake was so delicious! They have lots of different dietary options on their menu and I will definitely be coming here again - I've already been raving about it to my friends and family.

I had it delivered but had forgotten what a great job and the care they take into making their burgers. Good size, but not overwhelming. Lettuce is shredded and not just a piece slapped on. The onion rings are crispy, not greasy.

Ok, generally I prefer to review not-chain restaurants, but this place was too good to not drop a few stars on them! I got the Humpty, double patty, and a ton of the free fixings (who doesn't like free add ons?) and to top it off, fries come free as well! This place serves the quintessentially classic burger, but flavorful, and interesting different mayo's to accompany the burger! If you find yourself near here, definitely stop on in and try them out! Only downside is the fact that being on the intersection of Grand and Snelling, is that there is not a whole ton of easy parking.

Limited parking here but don't let that stop you from coming! Great burgers & wonderful service!!

Stopped by for takeout the other night, as we had some coupons for this place that came in the mail. We were in and out in about 10 minutes. Burger was not life-changing, but definitely tasty - I would describe it as an elevated fast food burger. Fries were warm, crisp, and delicious - above average. And I loved my vanilla malt! I think we'll be back, especially if they keep sending coupons - it was definitely a tasty and relatively affordable dining option.

Have to add a star for the seamless and safe Covid set up. When picking up the order you stand on a blue spot waaay far away from the counter and then follow arrows out a different door. The burgers were great and again-the malts!

It was okay, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. The burger average sized not much seasoning on the meat

First time customer. We ordered delivery, so I am unable to comment regarding the physical premises. Our order was for two California burgers, specifying that we did not wish mayo, but ordered with normal ketchup, mustard, cheese and pickles. We received burgers with the specified condiments, but no lettuce and tomato...which automatically come on the California burger. We attempted to contact the store regarding the confusion, waiting until after the dinner rush had subsided. But despite telephoning twice, nobody could be bothered to answer the telephone. All in all, a disappointing experience. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night. Nevertheless, we are not particularly eager to reorder.

We came for an eat in meal with tiny kids. The service was quick and friendly! The food came out so fast we were surprised! Great burgers, options, fries and all.

3.75*** This cute little burger joint is located right beside Nothing Bundt Cakes, and across the Jamba Juice on Snelling and Grand Ave (near Macalester College). It kind of reminds me of a fast food/ sit down restaurant chain - kind of like smash burger. Upon entering I found the restaurant to be aesthetically pleasing with fun writings and colors on the walls. The staff were also nice and accommodating. I ordered the California burger (about $7.00), and added a few toppings - jalapeños & something else (which were free of charge). What I thought was pretty cool was that all burgers or "things with buns" come with free fries! And your meal comes in a cute little box that is definitely Snapchat worthy if you have good lighting. I thought the burger was good - it didn't look or taste like a frozen meat patty that you'd get at other fast food places, but I thought it was pretty thin. And the veggies that come inside didn't taste like they were sitting in the fridge overnight, but the lettuce was shredded, which isn't always my favorite when eating a burger (gets messy). They also have a variety of sauces you can get yourself - different types of mayos to be exact. Try the siracha mayo! However, I LOVEDDD the French fries - they were so delicious! They weren't too fat nor too skinny and they had a perfect amount of crispiness. Next time, I'll probably head over there just for the fries!

Very chill vibes and nice layout, and the cajun fries are really really good. The staff are pretty nice, and the wait for the food wasn't crazy. This is my current favorite burger place

Me and my bf are not from around the area and did not know where a good burger would be. we found this place online, and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing the guy was super nice and helped us out with the menu. The environment was very chill and comfortable clean and kept up. This place is a 10/10.

If you're looking for a quick and tasty lunch, My Burger is the spot! Their menu is no frills... some classic burger options as well as fun customizations (smoked bacon and sriracha mayo, anyone?!). I got the Original, which has ketchup, mustard, sweet pickles, fried onions, with some smoked mayo on a gluten free bun. The fries are always fresh, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. Best part is that you can get out of there for about $8 with a big hearty meal. I've never strayed away from the beef patty for my burger, but want to try the other options like the chicken breast or veggie burger option. They also have a milkshake menu with a salted caramel option that I have to try! Their drink menu is impressive if you're looking for a beer with your burger, with lots of local options. My Burger is quick, easy, and delicious quality food. Always a great option!

Customer service is great. Burgers are great as well. Very spacious and great for groups to enjoy a nice meal with each other. Located right across from Macalester college on Snelling/grand. I normally decide to get the grilled chicken burger from here but recently I went with the jalapeño king burger. It was just a tab bit salty on the burger, but overall I could not complain. Dipping the burger into the sriracha mayo sauce is a plus. Also along with the Cajun fries made it a great combination.

A hidden gem I forget about sometimes, the service was on point for a busy Friday night. We ordered a cheeseburger and turkey burger with fries, the Cajun fries are the bomb, sooo good!!

Holy disappointment, Batman!! This place was underwhelming in every way. It gets an extra star for the service being good. I got the California burger which was a mistake because nothing on it had any flavor at all, including the burger patties. They were also very dry. Fries weren't hot - they were barely warm, and considering that we came at lunch time on a weekday that was pretty unacceptable. My friend got the bacon cheeseburger which was a much better choice because the cheese and bacon counteracted the extreme dryness of the burger. So I'd say if you bother going here at all get something more than a basic burger. It doesn't cost that much more and it might help save your meal somewhat.

I decided to try My Burger after receiving a BOGO for their "burger box" combos. As other reviewers have commented, their food is decent, but their policies leave a lot to be desired: 1) There was an outsized cop presence at the restaurant. Really?? Mac-Groveland is so dangerous you need to cater specifically to law enforcement, including in the tabletop display?! That level of cop presence makes me extremely uncomfortable. 2) Let's address the "Lake Calhoun" location. Or, rather, wait a minute, it's been Bde Maka Ska for awhile now. No excuses for not using the official name for that lake/location. There are so many other burger locations.... There is no need to visit this one.

When My Burger opened up in St. Paul I was so excited because I'd been following them on IG and loved their page. Consistently coming out with new monthly specials and daily specials that would bring in any burger lover. I came in on a Monday which is $5 burger day but that doesn't include double cheeseburgers. And of course, if I'm going in for my first visit for quite the experience, I'm getting a double. I kept it simple because I really wanted to see how the burger tasted without all the crazy toppings that hide the flavor of the beef. I ordered a double beef burger with ketchup, mustard, pickles and onions. My burger came out in just under 10 minutes so I could tell it was made fresh (I actually saw them grilling to order on the flat top). The meat was super juicy and flavorful. Good amount of condiments and the fries were also delicious. It reminded me of a mix between McDonalds and Culver's in terms of taste and flavor profile. However, I'd choose this burger over McDonalds any day of the week. Between this and Culver's is a toss up because those butter burgers are legit! I definitely recommend this place for the customizable options, price and quality of food

Was pleasantly surprised by this burger joint. Toasted bun is always a plus - super flavorful, well prepared burgers - there are a lot of choices, I have now been two times, had the bacon cheese and the my burger, both were delicious. The sweet potato fries - crispy and delicious! Ugh! So good. Everything is severed up hot ready and fast! Love the text deals - sign up when you're there to get good deals. Oh! Siracha mayo AND garlic mayo - we think the mayo is a-okay-o, well actually it's really good.

Solid place for burgers. Lots of ways to customize. The fish sandwich is not something I'd recommend. I had it 3 times and did not like the oily and over fried taste. Finally the milk shake is really good here. It's like a modern place for burgers and shakes. Finally they have vegetarian options plus chicken burger (grilled or fried). The mobile app is super easy to use for ordering food. Place your order and food will be ready upon arrival.

Three stars for staffing the restaurant during covid. However I online ordered one sandwich and it came wrong. And very soggy. I requested pickles and onions, both were left out and I came home with this which did not travel well. I suggest going in and ordering take out and run home ASAP before it has to suffer a ride in the microwave

Customer service was exceptional. The menu was explained in detail by one of the workers, suggestions were made, and questions were asked in terms of what my preferences are in a burger. The portion size is worth the price. The food was nice and hot. The sriracha mayo & garlic mayo was delightful. Will definitely visit this place again!

I like their different fry options (jerk seasoning, yes!) I like that they have more than one vegetarian burger option, on top of the meat types of course. No frills. The shakes are little expensive for what they are but they still taste ok. I feel like the burgers maybe been a little more...oomph? I don't know how to explain it. Parking lot is a shame so walk up is best. Anyway, yay for fries!

Loved My Burger! The dining and drink area was clean and fresh! The staff was great! And the burger on a toasted gluten free bun was delicious! Wish we had them in the Chicagoland area.

I love that they have the impossible burger here! Best "alt-Burger" you can get!! The fries are also amazing! Classic crunch and size. Although, I've received older less crisp fries and was extremely bummed due to the previous quality. Same for the onion rings. I'll just make sure to ask for fresh fries with extra fresh

I called to place a to go order for a turkey burger and fries and a malt. When I called a young lady took my order and told me it would be about 15-20 mins. I stopped over next door to get something, then I came in and paid for my order and left. What really got to me is that they use to have lemonade and for some odd reason they discontinued it. So since I don't drink pop I decided to get the malt. When I got my food home I tasted the turkey burger and it didn't taste good to me at all. I am not sure if it was different from what they normally use but it wasn't good at all. The malt was good and the service was good as usual, not sure why the lemonade did a disappearing act and why the burger wasn't as good as usual

Although the food was good, what I witnessed at this location left me with a bad after taste. The cashier who took my order was friendly and helpful. However, I was disturbed by the actions of one of the managers that worked there. While I was waiting for my order, I witnessed a car park in the only handicap parking spot in the parking lot out front. There were no visible handicap placards or plates on the car. A man approached her as she was getting out of the car to confront her. She brushed him off and entered the store. She made a joke to one of the other cashiers as she entered about the incident and proceeded to get something behind the counter. The man outside was visibly taking pictures of the car and came into the store. He said he'd like to speak with a manager about this violation. She then said she was the manager and continued to brush him off. She gave him a card and continued with what she was doing. When the man finally left, I heard her and the staff members at the counter joking about the encounter. Very disappointed by the staff at this location and will never come back.

The food is good and the service has always been friendly! It usually is ready in a reasonable amount of time and if not they always compensate you in some way. I've been here a number of times and always order to go. It's right across from Mac college so it's not really a "dine in" place although you totally can and there is some seating. Would definitely recommend if you want a good burger but don't want fast food or a sit down place!

This place is awesome! The fries? Awesome. Onion rings? Awesome. Sweet potato fries? Awesome! And the burgers themselves? So freaking good. Also, their smokey garlic mayo is out of this world. The service, atmosphere, and set up is also great. The price for what you get is well worth it. I'm excited to keep coming here while I live in the area!

This is our go-to easy dinner. Restaurant is always clean and we never wait for more than 10 minuets even when they are busy. Cajun bacon cheeseburger is a must. Love that they make food as you order it.

Definitely a welcome addition. We need burgers in this hood. I don't like sweet pickles so I built my own with cheddar, shredded lettuce, mayo and ketchup. I love the boxes they come in and the fries are great and don't need ketchup. The amount of room isn't bad and this area would get a lot of take out orders. There's a good amount of outdoor seating too.

4.5 !!! Stopped at Nothing Bundt Cakes... and thought... why are we going home to grill? Let's grab a quick burger! Delicious!! Got the original with cheese and all the toppings. The sweet pickles are amazing!! I got the sweet potato fries, crisp and taste fabulous with the sriracha mayo. Partner got the regular fries, girthy and crispy! No tiny spuds here! Wait was about 3 min for burger. WORTH IT!

I would give this place a higher rating--their burgers are fantastic--except for their app requiring either a Facebook or Chowhound account. There is no way to order through their app without one of these third party platforms.
