Cute place with mediocre ice cream - I had the white chocolate matcha (3.5/5) and for a $6 scoop of ice cream I expect it to taste really good. The ice cream was icy and not super creamy; however, the taste was nice and not too sweet, but I didn't taste the chocolate at all. Maybe try the drinks instead of the Popsicles. Another popular flavor seemed to be the blackberry.

A wonderful Japanese and American ice cream shop with great flavors from both sides (11 with 3 vegan) including ones like Yuzu, Hojicha and Matcha white chocolate. Prices are slightly higher than average but portions are good ($9 for 2 scoops) and ice cream is prepared in small batches. They allow sampling, have a good amount of seating and have other snacks, mochi and hot beverages to enjoy. They also have rice balls on Friday from 11. They also have music classes here on Wednesdays.

I ordered nitro coffee and cookie ice cream. It's so tasty. My partner drinks hojicha and kuromitsu latte. It's also great.

I got the Matcha Mochi ball and loved it! Also got to try my wife's brownie Sunday, and the brownie was super dense and chocolaty. Very cute little kids area as well, nice little ice cream spot

okay, so these two flavors Hōjicha & Matcha White Chocolate… 10/10. not too sweet and just the right flavor, great combo for any matcha lovers out there. Also staff there are super nice and the place is absolutely cute! Thank you

Loveliest owner and staff! Great coffee, ice cream and Japanese milk bread toast. They bring friends and partners to their shop, e.g. rice balls and bagels; host events to add colors to the already interesting coffee (& ice cream) shop. It brings unique Japanese ice cream flavors to the community such as Yuzu, Hojicha, in addition to the usual suspect - Matcha. Love having this place in my neighborhood! Btw, their sister shop on Humboldt is amazing too :)

So happy I’ve discovered this adorable Japanese ice cream shop! Went twice this week. First time I bought a pint of vanilla ice cream to bring to a dinner and everybody loved it. Today I tried the matcha white chocolate and it was delicious! The staff is also very friendly. Can’t wait to try more flavors!

Didn't even know this gem had opened! Delicious ice cream flavors - I tried the hojicha and the jasmine tea & cookies. Also love that it was served so frozen - so often hard ice cream is served too melty. Can't wait to try more flavors.

Yelp
Do not hesitate to get the Banana Cream Pie! The graham cracker chunks are to die for. The ice cream is better than an actual banana cream pie. I also tried the cookies and cream flavor, which was also delightful. And cookie heavy!! The girl working behind the register was super nice and helpful with selecting the best flavors. It's a cute dog and kid friendly little shop with outdoor seating as well.

Yelp
Had a half scoop of yuzu and a half scoop of hojicha when I visited yesterday. The man at the counter was great about giving me samples and also was willing to do the two half scoops, which I appreciated! I really enjoyed the yuzu and thought the hojicha was good but a little off somehow - almost tasted a little muddy or burnt. But I did still choose to get it so obviously it wasn't that significant. If they got more Asian flavors I'd definitely be back to try!

Yelp
This shop is super cute!! We came here for dessert after dinner and I got the Yuzu ice cream. It was soo yummy and unique - a little tarty and creamy. It was the perfect combo.

Yelp
After thoroughly enjoying the Hojicha tea at their sister restaurant Okonomi, the chefs recommended that I pop by here to try the Hojicha ice cream here. Growing up, I loved getting the green tea ice cream at Japanese restaurants, so it was very nostalgic. This was a more artisanal version. I believe there were bits of mochi in it too which gave it an interesting texture, but I might be incorrect about the mochi bits and there might have been another factor leading to the texture. Service was quick.

Yelp
Yuzu Ice cream is top tier ! Also a great place to go with kids, it's a bit pricey but everything is really delicious and a great neighborhood spot.
