London’s New Restaurant Openings

"My Favourite Sandwich is in Spitalfields, has a pretty pastel pink paint job, and, crucially, seating. The fillings are creative, like the ‘Eurotrash’—fried mortadella, pickled onion Monster Munch, mustard, and pickles—and the interior looks to be a chic step up from a lot of grab-and-go sandwich shops." - team infatuation

As a cinnamon bun lover, I can say that these cinnamon buns are the best ones I ever had. Good looking, soft, warm and so tasty. And the lady’s in the bakery are very kind and friendly.

Really brilliant sandwich spot, right in the heart of Shoreditch, not far from Brick Lane & Spitalfields. We went for their lunch deal, £11 for a sandwich, spudos & a soft drink - you can’t beat it. Spudos are their own crisps they shake infront of you with your choice of seasoning - why aren’t more people doing it?! So much choice and just delicious. I went for the tuna sandwich with prawn cocktail spudos, I can’t wait to try more. Big big portions, amazing value for money. Only marked down a tad because the wait was a little long as lunch time and some sandwiches were getting missed.

A few sandwich options done exceptionally well. I had the coronation chicken and it had plenty of flavour and volume, extra points with that bangin bhuja mix. The accompanying crisps were sensational, probably some of the best I've had

A great local lunch spot. The staff are lovely and the store is clean and inviting. My sandwich picks are Coronation Chicken (the Bombay mix and champagne soaked raisins are incredible and add so much flavour and texture) and the Eurotrash (a pickle-y flavour bomb!). They also just started serving salads. I tried the Tuna a la Salad and the Bang Bang Chicken today, which are salad versions of their existing sandwich offerings. The lettuce was very fresh, the toppings were generous and the miso dressing was outstanding - a great option for a lighter summer lunch.

Ordered the bang bang bahn mi and it was disappointing. There wasn’t enough filling and flavour, chicken was dry and didn’t taste fresh. Also found a piece of chicken bone in it. Overall quite bland and didn’t feel like it was worth £11. Was expecting more after seeing the good reviews!

I’d heard great things about My Favourite Sandwich and finally made the trip from Bristol to try it, absolutely worth it. The sandwiches are next level, fresh bread, amazing flavour combos, and generous portions. You can tell they care about quality, easily one of the best sandwich spots I’ve ever been to, I’ll be back next time I’m in London.

Delicious, fresh sandwich. The crisp pairing is a great idea, and it’s cool that it’s licensed. Also good to have seating inside! 2 vegan options, the mushroom marinara was delicious. I did think the bread was maybe too soft, it would have been nicer if it had a bit of chew to it.

I ordered a too good to go and I know it’s cheap, but this was bad. Never shopped here before and probably won’t again as that was awful. Had to throw in the bin after one mouthful
