Tucked amidst the hustle and bustle of Hanoi’s vibrant streets, this place was our first dining experience in the city, and it left a strong impression.
Initially, we walked in with low expectations, suspecting it could be another tourist trap. However, to our pleasant surprise, it had an authentic vibe with a mix of locals and tourists, which reassured us about its credibility.
The standout dish for both my wife and me was the glazed pork belly in fish sauce. While we hesitated initially, it turned out to be delicious. The flavors were unique, rich, and pleasantly surprising, making it a must-try for anyone looking for a memorable meal.
The prices here were quite reasonable, making it a good value-for-money spot. Service was decent; though the staff spoke minimal English, this added to the authentic feel and indicated that the place is not exclusively geared toward tourists.
Overall, this restaurant exceeded our expectations, and we would happily recommend it to anyone looking for genuine food in Hanoi without the typical tourist hype.
