The 18 Best Restaurants In Burbank

"Even though My Little Home Thai Kitchen is only a few minutes away from the major studio lots, it has a surprisingly pleasant front porch. Tiny potted plants adorn the wooden walls, shade covers every table, and though Hollywood Way isn’t exactly a side street, sitting here feels far more tranquil than your other options on the major Burbank thoroughfares. But this family-run spot is more than just a peaceful patio—the food coming out of the kitchen is excellent, too. We particularly love the crispy marinated fried pork, spicy and sour tom yum soup, and the perfectly sweet yellow curry with carrots and potatoes. " - brant cox

The papaya salad is super fresh with strong, zesty seasoning, so refreshing! The pineapple fried rice is a standout, with a perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little heat from the chili pickle. The beef noodle was just okay, but the other dishes made up for it. Great flavors, friendly staff, definitely worth a visit!

Wow, that was just so delicious! We went in for an 8-person lunch, and boy did we all left so satisfied! Everyone very much enjoyed their food! For myself, I ordered the Pad Sew Ew with Tofu and Mango Sticky Rice for dessert. This is the lunch portion for the Pad Sew Ew, so if you have a real big appetite, one lunch portion may not be enough. For me, it's just perfect, leaving enough room for dessert. The Pad Sew Ew really balanced itself well with its salty savoriness and sweet soy, while the tofu had just enough crispness to add texture, but still soft enough to hold on to the pad sew ew flavor. I can say it's almost effortless finishing the whole bowl. The Mango Sticky Rice continued the theme of balance, with the rice having just enough coconut glaze that it doesn't over so it with too much sweetness. This also allowed the mango flavor and the rice flavor to be featured more to work in concert with the coconut instead of being too dominated with the coconut glaze like in some other Thai restaurants. Just love this dessert and My Little Home Thai Kitchen delivers with this dish!

The Service: Super efficient! Cute patio seat area. The Food: Generous portions. Love their yellow curry, very flavorful. They give big pieces of meat in both fries rice & noodles dishes. The Parking: Street parking (2 hours)

My Little Home Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem! We had the Tom Yum and shrimp fried rice—both were absolutely delicious. The place is small but cozy, with a warm, homey feel that makes you feel like you’re in a mom’s kitchen. Great atmosphere, amazing food—highly recommend!

Google
This place is bomb!! OMG 10 out of 10. My hubby took me to eat here and it was delicious. We will be back. The new item was sweet and spicy wings. Yum!! 🤤 Our server and the lady bringing out the food was super attentive and super nice.

This little Thai restaurant is a true hidden gem. It’s small, cozy, and always has such a warm and welcoming vibe. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home every time. The food? Absolutely delicious — every single time. I’ve been here many times and never once felt disappointed. Everything is flavorful, fresh, and made with love. The prices are very reasonable too, which makes it even better. Honestly, I can’t help myself when I’m in the area — I have to stop by and grab something to eat! I especially love sitting in the patio area. It’s perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual meal with family. Highly recommend if you’re in Burbank and craving authentic Thai food. You’ll love it just as much as I do!

Google
I wish I could give this place 0 stars the tom yum soup was mid barely any flavor in there we also found a fly in our drink the carrots and potatoes on their curry were raw we also found a hair on our rice and they were still expecting us to pay full price which is crazy

Google
Good Thai food, cute little converted house. But very slow service and below average portion sizes for the price

Yelp
We were stuffed! We looked at the Yelp photos before hand and thought we should get some appetizers and dessert but man we were really full and satisfied! It was a nice evening and we got a table outside patio. We weren't sure how busy a Thursday night would be so we got reservations. We were seated quickly and the outside dining got full so some larger parties after us had to wait. We ordered fried calamari, khao so, drunken noodles, and mango sticky rice. The fried calamari came with some soft shelled crab! The sweet sauce was a good touch. The Khao so came with generous portion of beef and the curry soup is quite rich and hearty. The side of picked vegetables also helped with a little crunch. I got the drunken noodles with crispy pork. The crispy pork were chucks of roasted crispy pork belly! Delicious and fatty. You can choose heat level; I chose the mildest but I should have got spicier. We didn't see mango sticky rice on the menu but they did have it and it was a good end to the meal. We parked on the street. Just read the signs for restrictions.

Yelp
My new go-to Thai food place! Food is delicious, restaurant is comfortable, and nice service. Favorite dish is the My Little Home Fried Pork, so flavorful and love the sauce.

Yelp
So happy I ended up here and got to enjoy their chicken satay and sticky rice with mango + jasmine tea! A+++ can't wait to come back and try more of their dishes! Great vibe! Outdoor dining on point! My new go-to for thai in Burbank. Yay! Thank you!

Yelp
I ended up wanting to try a new Thai place and ended up finding this one on Yelp. Ordered the pad se ew with chicken and it was good, the place is very homey and the staff is friendly.

Yelp
We ordered the Cashew Chicken, Larb salad, and Crispy Pork Pad Thai. They were all pretty good except the Cashew Chicken was underwhelming. It wasn't saucy but rather soupy. The side of white rice was also a bit soft/mushy. Service was great and its a cute place. We were the only ones eating there and they accommated our "outdoor" seating next to a heater. They seem to do a lot of take out orders which keeps them busy.

Yelp
Picked up some yummy Thai food on the way home. Pick up was quick and easy. Went with Pad Thai with chicken $13.50 and Drunken Noddles with shrimp $15.50 The drunken noodles were a hit! The shrimps were plump and juicy. The sauce was spicy and flavorful. It was so good! The pad Thai was also good, not too saucy or gummy. I'll be getting my noodle fix here when in the area.

Yelp
Great spot to enjoy good weather and good food at! I got the lunch special Pad Thai bowl with tofu and a Thai Tea, which despite coming in starving-- I still walked out with a good portion leftover. The Pad Thai had a great flavour, but at times the egg was overbearing and I could not taste much else. Service was quick!

Yelp
On a Sat around 1230ish, was able to get free street parking by the church. There was also street parking closer to the restaurant. Loved the ambiance - was truly like eating at someone's home. It's also a plus that it's dog friendly. Usually my SO orders the better entree but this time I took the ball with the Khao Soi $15. I loved the curry flavor and al dente wide egg noodles. And the crunchy noodles on top! Beef was tender and was a quality cut. Would def get again. SO got the Tom Yum Linguine $18 and it lacked in flavor. Quality and tasty seafood, but would be better. Thai Coffee was alright.

Yelp
Went here with a few friend for my birthday. Parking is street parking but we didn't have any problems. We ordered the panang curry, Tom yum soup, pad Thai, and spicy eggplant. The panang curry and eggplant dish were both delicious and I would order again. The Tom yum was VERY sour and not my favorite dish and the pad Thai was just ok. The restaurant does look like your sitting on someone's patio which was cute. They also had outdoor heaters which was nice. The service was quick and everyone is kind.

Yelp
Sit on the outside, it's a nice patio. Inside looks cramped. - Thai Iced Tea 3.8/5 It's really heavy on the cream (probably 50/50 ratio). Solid drink. - Pad Thai 3.7/5 The noodles are overcooked but the dish is very flavorful. I like how there's small pieces of tofu (even tho I got chicken). - Penang Curry 2.4/5 It's really one note too creamy/oily tasting. It's quite heavy and doesn't make me want to eat more of it. The beef is ok. - Papaya Salad 4.2/5 Fresh papaya salad, very long pieces. Good flavor! Will ask to get this spicy next time. Street parking

Yelp
YUM!! My Little Home Thai Kitchen, was in fact a little home with amazing dishes! We'll be back to try more from the menu! We ordered the pad thai and it was flavorful, the green curry was a little spicy and so so good! We visited on a cold day and sat inside where it was nice and heated! The Thai Tea was also delicious and very sweet!

Yelp
I thought I wasn't going to find good Thai food after moving away from the Thai town area, but my Little Home Thai Kitchen is really good! Feels like home cooked food every time.

Yelp
Great spot. I sat on the patio. It's a small but a nice space. Food was delicious. I ordered the fresh rolls and eggplant entree. Thought it odd that it didn't come with rice. I also got the Thai iced tea. I wouldn't recommend it. I ordered medium spice. It wasn't spicy at all. Would get hot next time. Good service.

Yelp
This place is always tasty with good service. I like the outside seating area as they have fresh flowers on the tables.. Tables were clean and the food came quickly.

Yelp
TL:DR - Homey Thai restaurant with delicious food, hard to find parking though. Just off of Hollywood Blvd is a small restaurant that looks like a house, this is My Little Home Thai Kitchen. There is a porch/patio area that faces the street and this is the dining area for the whole restaurant. It's quaint and chill, and the sound of cars driving by isn't too intrusive. The only downside is that there is no parking lot and you'll have to find street parking. The menu and prices are comparable to other Thai restaurants and they have all the classics: pad thai, pad see ew, etc. Unlike other restaurants they have Khao Soi, a curry noodle dish that is to die for! Knowing me and my love for curry, I had to get it. You get a choice of meats, and i went with chicken. The khao soi was brought out steaming hot, with two types of noodles (normal thick noodles and crispy noodles) and two chicken drumsticks. The soup was a deep yellow color that tasted of both curry and coconut milk, the perfect sweet, savory, spice that delights my soul. The texture of the noodles was soft and chewy, complimented by the crispy noodles on top. By the time I slurped up the last of the soup I was stuffed. I loved the khao soi and I expect I'll be back again soon. Overall, a delicious Thai restaurant with a chill setting.

Yelp
This place is a gem!!!! I think the restaurant may actually have been a house converted, because it's so warm and inviting. The patio is great and there are so many plants decorating the space. This is the place to go for a hearty home-cooked style authentic Thai meal. Plus, its a family business and we love supporting small biz! I ordered the Khao Soi here, and it did not disappoint. Came out fast and piping hot. It was creamy and had a kick of spice, but not overwhelmingly heavy. You have the option to order this with beef or chicken. I went with the beef, but I think the chicken would probably go better with the flavor profile. My partner ordered the beef noodle soup. It was much lighter than the Khao Soi but equally hearty. The broth was light and slightly sweet, but very flavorful. There are so many items on the menu that I'd love to come back and try! I can't wait to be back!

Yelp
A hidden gem that you could easily drive past and think is another house in a row of buildings, yet it holds a surprise that delivers you great Thai food in a "home" setting that makes you feel at home. Mostly patio seating with a few seats inside. The food is on point and portion are decent sized for the price, though maybe not as large as other restaurants, though delivers in quality. The service can be a bit slow when they are fully seated as the staff works hard, though the kitchen can only work so quickly as everything is made to order. You won't go wrong if you don't end up driving by this place looking for it on a busy street with heavy traffic during the day, though have always been able to find street parking. Don't sleep in this "home".

Yelp
For part 1 of celebrating Mother's day, my SO wanted to eat out with his family. I chose this restaurant as it was very close to where we were at and this place had nice reviews. It is a quaint location with primarily outdoor seating. When we arrived, almost all the tables were full and they had a steady influx of people coming to eat and leaving through the time we were here. We arrived and ordered the tom kha, khao soi, pad see ew with pork belly, eggaplant and mango sticky rice. The tom kha was delicious. and in a small portion. There was not very much mushrooms or meat. The eggplant was the best in terms of flavor and value. The khao soi was delicious but did not have very much noodles. The pad see ew was the most disappointing as it felt like most of the dish was missing in terms of quantity. They had enough to slightly cover the plate but it would be considered 25% of a serving for one person. The mango sticky rice was decent but was disappointed that it was missing condensed milk. Overall, this place is quaint and cute. The dishes are hit and miss but satisfactory for the most part.

Yelp
I wish I had better things to say about this place, but it just wasn't a great experience. The Yelp reviews caught my attention, but I simply cannot understand how they are so strong. The only thing that I can figue is that we didn't dine in. Although, dining in didn't seem like a treat, either. As I waited for my to-go order, I saw an bowl of soup dropped on the wrong table. When the server noticed, after the table was already digging in, she came and collected the soup and said she'd bring the right one. The table that had ordered the soup then had to wait for her to have the kitchen make a new on. I think the staff was just completely overwhelmed with a full house and a number of to-go orders. I saw my food ready to be placed in a bag and it sat for nearly 10 minutes before I was asked what I was waiting for. To be fair, I was early and the food was given to me at the designated time, BUT since it sat for so long, it was cold when we got to eat it. As for the food, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either, even after reheating. The noodles in the pad thai dish were all clumped together, and the soup was just ridiculously overpowered with lemongrass. We just couldn't eat it and it felt like such a waste. I chalk it up as a loss, and doubt I'd return. If I did, I'd maybe try to dine in, but there are a few other places in Burbank that I like better.

Yelp
Cute and quaint place for some yummy Thai food! We sat outside under a covered patio, beautiful spot for lunch on a Sunday. We ordered chicken satay and egg rolls, delicious and temperature hot! I ordered chicken fried rice and my family ordered pad see ew with beef and ka prao with chicken which both were delicious and moderately spiced. We had a great server, he was very friendly and attentive. It was just the right amount of time for lunch. They do have one restroom available inside and it was clean. There is street parking available. We will definitely return!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the better thai places in Burbank. Love that it's a quick bite to eat during a busy lunch rush hour. Their curries are fantastic. My friends and I love coming here when we're craving some stir fry or hot soup.

Yelp
A very mice casual night on the patio with good food and friendly service! Recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered takeout for a quick Sunday dinner and was not disappointed. I ordered spicy pork pad see ew. The portion was a good size and I really enjoyed the ratio of pork, Chinese broccoli and egg. I do wish it was a little spicier and had more noodles, but it was still very delicious. We placed our order and it was ready for pickup in 20 minutes. The food was hot and you can taste the authenticity of it. Will definitely stop by to dine in!

Yelp
Besides having the best food in Burbank. I have to say they excel at customer service after I spoke with them about a problem I had on Memorial Day. The owner is absolutely delightful. I highly recommend my little Home Thai.

Yelp
A family member recommended My Little Home Thai Kitchen to me recently. I ordered dinner through DoorDash, and at first glance, I was surprised by their small menu (I'm too used to long menus at Asian restaurants). But the food was quite good! Although I ordered takeway, I didn't feel like the quality or portion sizes were sacrificed. I got a couple of items to share with my family. Firstly, the Ka Prao with chicken was colorful, sweet, and savory! The aroma from the holy basil and seasonings were very tempting, and this entree paired well with the rice I had cooked at home. Secondly, the Tom Yum with seafood was perfect for a cold, rainy night! Not only was this soup spicy and tangy from the chilies and lemongrass, but it was also filled with so much seafood. It had fish, mussels, shrimp, and squid! It was yummy and left a satisfying, burning sensation in my throat and cleared my sinuses afterwards. Overall, I'd definitely order from My Little Home Thai Kitchen again! I'd like to visit the restaurant soon as well.

Yelp
Went in person this time on a Saturday evening. Walking up to the restaurant, the smells of garlic, holy basil, and chilies wafted towards us. We were greeted immediately and told to choose where we wanted to sit. It was fairly crowded, so we opted for the small 2-person table. The patio was perfect as it was pleasantly cool. The tiny orchid blossoms on the tables were adorbs, and it was nice to have many plants adorning the patio. Our waiter gave us some water and the menus, gave us a few minutes to decide, and complimented our choices when we ordered. My drink arrived quickly, as well as some lemon slices for the water. It did not take more than 10 minutes for our first appetizer to appear, quickly followed by our 2nd appetizer and soup, and a side of prik nam pla (thai chillies in fish sauce, highly recommended if you love spice). Our waters were refilled several times. We ordered: Thai tea, 6/5, this is my favorite thai tea of anywhere I've had it in the last 2 years. The tea flavor is strong, just a touch bitter, balanced with sweetness and cream. Thai toast 5/5, still my fave and so so good with some of the prik nam pla Chicken Satay 5/5, juicy, slightly chared goodness Tom Kha with shrimp 5/5, we ordered it medium spicy, and that's about my limit of spicy, but that broth!!! So tasty with just a touch of sweetness to play off the sour spiciness. Spicy eggplant 5/5, Flash stir fried succulent eggplant and crisp bell peppers in that luscious sauce. Its gonna be fire when i eat the leftovers with some rice tomorrow. Spicy fried rice with crispy pork 5/5, i love thai spicy fried rice, and as a Filipino, i love me some crispy pork Crispy banana roll 3/5, The fresh berries were delicious, and the rolls were crispy with a sweet syrup drizzled on them, but the rolls were more coconut than banana.

Yelp
Yummy food and excellent service. The little home fried pork and fried tofu pad see ew are flavorful.

Madeline B.

Yelp
The food is so delicious. Staff was friendly thought they seemed overwhelmed. We sat on the patio on a hot day and it was nice. They brought us everything we needed extra sauce, packed our food up early because half our party had to leave early. They were really accommodating. I'm picky about my yellow curry and it was very tasty here. We ordered pad Thai mango and sticky rice which was the best. This is my new favorite Thai in the valley.

Yelp
The food was great The service was perfect The ambiance was relaxing. I highly recommend.

Ketzia U.

Yelp
This place is very small and intimate with mostly patio seating, ranging from 2-6 seats per table. They have an indoor section, but it is small. The food was very good, made to order. We like to get the fresh rolls with peanut sauce, they are absolutely delicious. The portions are shareable, but they do have lunch specials which I imagine are smaller portions. The chicken stay was so tender, you could cut through them with your fork, and the yellow curry had a generous amount of fresh stewed vegetables mixed in with the chicken. The shrimp fried rice was typical, but very good nonetheless.
google avatar

Yelp
Such nice folks that work and run this place. Service was top notch. Cute little spot that I will definitely go back to when in town! The food was fresh, perfectly seasoned plus great portions! Highly recommend!

Yelp
An amazing family owned restaurant. The food is freshly cooked, piping hot. My favorite is the crab rangoons, they are so fresh its hard to eat other spot's rangoons. The service is attentive and intimate. The restaurant itself is so cute and cozy, full of plants on a patio right outside of the kitchen. It is like you are eating in someones house in the best way

Yelp
Food was great. Service fast. Ambiance pleasant. We definitely going to come back. Place went through some remodeling since I moved on this side of town 8 years ago. New terrace looks nice.

Yelp
So good!! Had their special beef noodle soup. It's so unique! Thick broth, lots of tender beef, and you customize it with the sauces they bring to you table side. Add that to the super friendly owner, great service, and awesome patio seating - this is a true gem. They opened in January 2022 - come check it out!
google avatar

Yelp
What a neighborhood gem! We finished a walk around the reservoir with our dogs and came here for lunch. The outdoor space is so cute and dog friendly. All the food we ordered was great. Khao Soi had two chicken legs with bones just like I had the dish in Thailand years ago. Would definitely come back when I'm in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
This was my very first time having Thai food and I was working in the area and decided to try something new. Food here is very fresh and delicious and don't forget the iced coffee. This is a cute family owned restaurant and owner engaged. Outside patio seating with great service.
google avatar

Saira U.

Yelp
Got the chicken satay and crispy fried pork to go. Both were tasty and flavorful, and worked well together and alone. The only complaint is the crispy pork especially was very greasy and heavy.

Suzanne M.

Yelp
We ordered food for pickup for Father's Day. The price was reasonable and the servings were what we expected. We were able to eat dinner a second night from what we ordered. Everything was delicious, it was ready on time, with friendly service. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Lee F.

Yelp
I had a pleasant lunch here. I thought the Chicken Pad Thai was tasty. The Iced Coffee was good too. The open seating area gives you nice vibes while you're enjoying your meal. I assume parking is on the street. I would eat here again.

Yelp
Delicious. Great patio space. Friendly service. I had heard a lot of good things about this family-run restaurant so I wanted to sample several dishes. We loved them all and will definitely return to try more menu items.

Yelp
Pad See Ew is so tasty, affordable lunch specials. Outdoor patio is so cozy, staff is super nice and food comes out pretty quick. Street parking only

Yelp
I've wanted to try this place since it opened a few years ago. I finally had the opportunity tonight. Let me start by saying, it is so cute! The dining area is outdoor-ish. Meaning that it's a fully covered outdoor patio with soft sided "walls". There are also tons of plants on the patio. It feels outdoors but with all the comfort and warmth of being indoors especially with the heaters on. My daughter and I ordered the tom yum soup with shrimp and the curry noodles with chicken legs. We loved the flavors in both. The soup was perfectly tangy and spicy. The curry noodles, while delicious, were really hard to eat. The description in the menu said that they were noodles served in a curry broth. This dish wasn't listed in the soup section or in the curry section of the menu though so we were confused. We didn't want to get two soups so we specifically asked if it was a soup. We were told it was not. However, it was served to us in a bowl, like a soup, with soup bowls and spoons to eat it with. But it definitely wasn't a soup. I mean, there was a little "broth", but certainly not enough to make it a soup. That said, in looking at other people's photos, it looks like when other they have ordered this dish it has come with much more broth than we received so I'm left utterly confused as to whether this is meant to be a soup or not. What we received was definitely not. Either way, this wasn't something you could eat with a spoon. We struggled to serve it and to eat it with soup spoons so eventually we asked for chop sticks or forks to eat it with. The flavors were delicious though. Despite the confusion, I definitely enjoyed the food and would go back again. Probably not any time in the immediate future because there are just too many other places to try, but I would go back.

Yelp
Very cute place and very nice patio. The food is delicious. Can't wait to try the rest of the dishes. Service is great!
