Best in town! I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I was truly impressed. Their ramen had a unique and amazing flavor that I haven’t found anywhere else. The sushi was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The lemon ginger tea paired perfectly with the food. The cozy and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were fast, friendly, and very welcoming. I will definitely come back here once a week!

Google
Best Ramen ever! Seriously. Home made Japanese noodles, incredible pork Tonkotsu. We’ve been all over Asia and can say this is legit! We also had the curry Ramen and I can say the flavor was just perfect, not too strong not too mild. Sweet spot. The atmosphere was delightful, the owners were lovely and very hospitable. Can’t recommend this place enough. Come on Boulder support this local business! This is coming from a Kansas City resident. You don’t know how good you have it!!

Google
TLDR: half of the food we ordered tonight was literally RAW and the ramen is literally worse than what anyone could make at home with packet noodles. We used to eat here all of the time, but today we made an order for pickup - curry ramen, miso ramen, chicken karaage, tempura shrimp, gyoza and takoyaki. The chicken karaage and takoyaki were raw, and the tempura shrimp smelled like old shrimp that had been left at room temperature for too long. Previously (under different ownership, apparently), their ramen bowls looked genuinely homemade and worth paying for. Now, the ramen appears to be the same kind you can buy from Hmart, and for the curry ramen, they clearly just add a block of golden curry paste to the same dashi-based broth that they use for other ramen, considering the chunk of curry block was congealed to the bottom of the broth container when we got it. When we tried to get a refund on the RAW FOOD, they first tried to insist that chicken is "supposed to be pink like that, that that's *authentic* (my husband has lived in Japan and even if you haven't, you know it isn't). On the matter of the takoyaki being undercooked, they insisted "it said to cook it for 4 minutes" as if this is the first time they've cooked it or something, which is WILD because we don't own a restaurant and STILL own a takoyaki maker that we FULLY COOK the takoyaki on. God forbid we wanted to be lazy and order instead of cooking our own octopus today. They forced us to call Doordash, insisting they couldn't, at which point DOORDASH said they should have been able to initiate the refund, and turns out this is their second strike with doordash for such a problem this month alone (which coincides with new ownership taking over based on other reviews)! We wouldn't have gotten a refund at all if it wasn't for the kind Doordash employee. Truly a disappointment after the years of good quality we had gotten used to. Go to Osakas or Tasuki if you want this food, don't waste your money here just because of the "nice remodel".

Google
The restaurant features a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting that creates the perfect mood. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be returning soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
Our whole family loved this place! The sushi and ramen were outstanding—everything is made in-house and incredibly fresh. On top of the amazing food, our server was genuinely kind, helpful, and made the evening feel extra special. We’ll definitely be back!

Google
Really enjoyed the sushi appetizer and extra tofu and mean ramen from the chef's special (add $$ for the extra is so worth it)! The owner and sushi chef are so friendly. Will be back regularly for the tasty ramen and fresh sushi! Hope the back plaza construction finish soon so will be easy access from 30th street. Right now only can get in from 28th street. Need more locals come to support the local family business! Right now they have buy $20 get $25 gift certificate in Oct, 2024. Available to use after Nov, 1st 2024. Great deal... I just got some for my family. Strongly suggest everyone go check them out.

Google
This place was good before, but now it’s great. The tan tan broth was perfect and every ingredient was so fresh. Excited to find really good ramen in Boulder!

Google
The food was very delicious and unique. The waitstaff and employees were friendly, polite, and quick. I will definitely come again next time. I will make sure to try the sushi chef’s special roll. Thank you!

Yelp
The food was great, service too. The owners and servers were very friendly and accommodating. It's a small neighborhood spot and I hope it remains for many years.

Yelp
Ordered the vegetarian ramen with coconut curry broth it's a chef kiss combination of sweet tofu skin with bean sprout, mushroom and egg noodles. Also, the special rolls are to die for!

Vic L.

Yelp
This is the best ramen I ever had! Chicken katsu ramen is an amazing fusion dish that combines crispy, breaded chicken cutlet with rich, savory ramen broth. The server is nice and always checking up on me.

Eyal K.

Yelp
Found this by chance. Light dinner was fast and yummy. Good selection of dishes. Not liquor license yet if that's important for you.

Irena Z.

Yelp
The ramen and sushi were amazing! Service is quick and friendly. We tried several dishes and everything was very tasty. Really great place!

Xueyao W.

Yelp
Pretty fresh sushi in town! Love the lady who's so nice and attentive to our table. I love ramen and in boulder this is the best ramen store I've tried so far. Their chicken karrage is so tasty and spicy tuna roll is amazing love the sauce!

Dearil K.

Yelp
chick Katsu is crispy vege tempura my fav Jalapeño bomb is Recommended 100%%% Stop by and give it a try

Emie F.

Yelp
I loved this place. I wrote many positive reviews for this restaurant. But wait...things have changed! My favorite go to dish was the Curry Ramen. With the new ownership the Curry ramen has become inedible. It was sooo hot, on the top end of spicy hot (I don't mind spicey) but I could not taste the curry. The spice was so overwhelming it was difficult to tolerate. The staff said this is their medium spice and it only comes in medium. I really don't think I will be ordering this dish again. On the other hand...my hubby ordered the salmon teriyaki dinner. It presented beautifully. It was so flavorful and a very healthy portion. Our wait staff was excellent! She was attentive and explained about the spicy curry and admitted other customers have complained. I would have downgraded by another star if it weren't for the the salmon dish and our server.

Justin W.

Yelp
Best fried rice in boulder, cooked to your preferred spice level and is always solid portioning. It is a Japanese style fried rice so if that's not for you be warned but still the best fried rice of any kind in Boulder currently

Leyvan K.

Yelp
The chicken Katsu is fire And the fried rice too and sweet potato tempura feel like U wanna slap ur mama

Memei L.

Yelp
I went this restaurant so many times and today I got Teriyaki Salmon it's so delicious come and try this one new on the menu

Jenna C.

Yelp
Not sure what to think. Used to love this place but suspect it is under new ownership. Couldn't even eat my miso ramen tonight. The broth was salty and a new color. The egg was cold even though we got there to pick it up before the dishes came out. The noodles were weirdly tangy. Husband said his ramen (different kind) was also "off." Two stars for the gyoza being good. But given the changes, can't say we'll be back. So bummed.

Sharon H.

Yelp
Service was amazing and staff is very friendly. I loved the Ube tea - highly recommend. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen and portions are very generous, great tasting.

Yelp
This restaurant is under new leadership as of a few weeks ago. I came for lunch and ordered the Shoyu Ramen. The wait staff was incredibly kind and I even got egg rolls for free! The ramen itself was perfection. The broth was perfectly seasoned. The noodles and ideal chewy texture. The egg and pork also delicious. Even the mushrooms and cabbage tasted so good. I was really impressed!! I will for sure return and support these new owners. They obviously care about great service and most importantly high quality food!

Thor R.

Yelp
I never leave reviews but felt obligated to leave one today. Ordered the Tantanmen ramen and Shoyu ramen, both with tofu instead of meat. Both were completely flavorless (and insanely oily broth). Genuinely made me question if I have covid (I do not). This was disappointing and enough to make me not want to eat here again, but not nearly enough to make me leave a one-star review. My girlfriend and I both had stomachaches all night after eating the ramen (neither of us have any allergies, dietary restrictions, etc.) Now for the one-star justification. My girlfriend was up all night puking (10+ times). And that wasn't the only end it was coming out of She isn't one to puke and almost certainly wasn't from what she ate for lunch. Just a bummer to get sick from a meal, especially one that is pretty much just noodles and broth. Not worth risking getting sick over some 1 star ramen!

Yelp
Service and hospitality was top tier. Started with eggplant Bao buns. They were ok. Wasn't sold with tomato as topping but I imagine the Pork belly bao is great. I know the pork belly in the Curry Ramen was great. Egg is the perfect interior and seasoned spot on. I will definitely be back to try other bowls

Trevor L.

Yelp
Great ramen, I like the Shoyu most, great portions, service is phenomenal. Location is a bit odd, and prices are average for ramen. But this is by far my favorite ramen place in Boulder. Their $2 Green tea is also a great deal.

apa s.

Yelp
Food was good. I love the fried rice U ordered it with Beef and Fried Tofu, I also like the Spicy Maki, highly recommended
google avatar

Livy O.

Yelp
Overall the food was mediocre. The Vegetarian ramen had no flavor, the fried chicken wasn't crispy enough, and pork belly was just okay. Besides the food, service was just horrible because it took forever the waitress to come to our table.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant in Boulder. Our family discovered this little gem and everything from the food to the service to the friendliness of the staff was outstanding. We tried many different things on the menu and kids and adults loved it all. Wonderful food, beautiful presentation and lots of variety on the menu. Will be back again and again!
google avatar

Audra J.

Yelp
Just not worth the money. I got the shoyu ramen with chicken and it was insanely oily broth and dry chicken. We also got the chicken katsu rice bowl and swear the dipping sauce with that was just A1 sauce?! Which just seemed odd and lazy? I'm not sure why but we also had egg rolls in the bag and they were okay- dipping sauce seemed watered down. Total with tip was over $40 and just not worth it as my ramen was not something I wanted to finish and ended up just making my own food at home as I should have done from the beginning. Seems the other reviews are very hit or miss and unfortunately it was a miss for us.

Yelp
We got delivery from this restaurant and it was bomb. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect because I was visiting from NYC and had some mediocre food in Colorado but this really knocked it out of the part. The four of us enjoyed our meal and appetizers. I got the poke bowl and loved the toppings that came with it. It was just the right amount of tuna.

Sarah M.

Yelp
I love this place so so much and I don't understand why it's not busy. Okay, so I get not wanting ramen in the summer months, but the Izakaya is AMAZING. I don't eat meat, so I can't share about the meet options, but the eggplant buns and Japanese pancake are two of my favorite things - like ever. Go go go get some Izakaya!!
google avatar

Aaron H.

Yelp
I don't know whether it's me or what, but my craving for ramen has been insane! Luckily, I was in boulder with my mother and we found this spot. Unfortunately, I took no photos of their ramen as the to go bowls didn't give them enough justice. I did order two miso ramens, gyoza, two pork belly buns and an order of fried chicken(chicken karagee). Onto the food! The pork belly buns were done well. The bun was freshly made and the pork belly was nicely braised. The chicken karagee was one of the best fried chickens I've had. Juicy chicken and the breading to chicken ratio was perfect. The gyozas were also a hit with my only complaint being that they didn't have enough chicken inside. The star of this review has to be the miso ramen. Broth done perfectly, chashu braised well and the ramen exceptional. Overall, the experience at My Ramen & Izakaya was amazing. Even though I couldn't dine in, the to go order held its taste and quality. Excited to come back with my wife when they have dine in available!

Yelp
Truly a masterpiece in every bowl, the side dishes were top tier and any of their ramens will have you leaving pleased. The staff are always kind and helpful, great seating, and looking forward to eating there again.
google avatar

Ari G.

Yelp
Broth was bland. Noodles were cooked well and the chashu was pretty flavorful, not dry. The eggs were perfectly cooked which is hard to find. If the broth was better it would be 5 stars.

Sam K.

Yelp
I came because of the good reviews and was optimistic. I will say that the service was very good but the ramen was lackluster at best. The stock hadn't been properly skimmed so there was foamy shmoo floating all over it, the bamboo shoots were way too salty, the pork belly was rubbery, the pickled ginger overpowering, and the shoyu egg was cold and over salty. The broth didn't taste bad, it was just "dirty," and the noodles we're well cooked, which is why this is 3 stars instead of 2, but I have no intention of coming back. If you can't get the namesake dish of the restaurant right, it doesn't justify a return visit in my mind. But as I said, the servers were very friendly and attentive.
google avatar

Charmaine N.

Yelp
+ Chicken karagge + Shoyu ramen + Curry ramen + Milk tea (black with boba) Poor packaging specific to the karagge it's in a white paper bag pieces of chicken flopped around in the plastic bag :/ I'd really like to see the toppings separated from the ramen in the future it was soggy (you can see from the photos I've shared). Giving this place 3 stars because it flavor is very generic. It's missing the wow for me.

Tess P.

Yelp
They are way under staffed. They only had 3 customers when I went it and it took them 30 minutes to make 2 ramen noodle. Not to mention that I was the first customer in line. Their prices for a ramen dish on the website is $12 but they charged me $16 for it. I later saw my receipt online and call them back asking them to correct their prices and they said this is the price they charge and the online price was not right, what? They also included delivery fee for all pick ups order. Of course, they refused to take that off of my check. I'm very disappointed and probably will not be returning again.
google avatar

Anton C.

Yelp
This place serves fast food made with cheap ingredients. The mapo tofu ramen was a weird mix of mapo tofu and undercooked noodles that were stuck together. The vege gyozas were dyed fluorescent green, were completely tasteless, made with cheap oil, and were just not real gyozas. I had a bad taste in my mouth and queasy stomach for 6 hours after eating. The food here is the lowest grade fit for human consumption. There are much better and more authentic places to eat in Boulder, so don't waste your money here.
google avatar

Jake B.

Yelp
This restaurant really knows how to serve up a wonderful meal. I had Curry Ramen with pork loin and we also had Chicken Katsu bowl. Presentation of both were very nice, flavorful, and the servings were very generous! Previously, we have done "take out" for our get togethers, but they are open to "dining in" now and their staff is friendly, helpful and the environment very nice. We will continue to recommend this restaurant to our friends.
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
Wow. Ordered take out ramen. Two different kinds. Both were really really bad.
google avatar

Danny S.

Yelp
I am in town for business and wanted to try a local ramen shop as I Am big ramen fan. I am from Bay Area, Cali, and I think we are pretty well known for our ramen shops and how delicious they are. I ordered the tonkatsu ramen, the soft shell crab salad w Thai tea. Ramen: 3 stars, just ok on all fronts, broth, ramen, topping and overall taste. Crab salad: soft shell crab, yummy. The miso salad dressing (I think) was so salty, I couldn't eat it
google avatar

Kristen P.

Yelp
My Ramen is a good spot if you want inexpensive ramen that will cure your hankering. No frills, nothing special. Regular ramen. I love this about My Ramen, but I docked it stars because it doesn't do the regular ramen crazy well. Don't get me wrong! The ramen is good, but it's missing something. I've had 3 of their ramen variations: the Miso Ramen, the Tonkotsu Ramen, and the Shoyu Ramen. Each one is missing something I can't put my finger on. I think what's happening is that the menu is so big that, instead of doing one thing really well, it just does many things average. We also had the Japanese Pancake (okonomiyaki) Izakaya. It was good! It needed more cabbage and the sauce was a sweet homemade sauce. The service was great. The atmosphere needs work.
google avatar

Nick W.

Yelp
Both my friend and I had a light diarrhea within an hour after lunch. Egg in the noodle soup was cold. Soup base was salty but not savory. Service was good. Very dissapointed.
google avatar

Alisha F.

Yelp
Great food! My husband and I both had the tonkotsu ramen. We also had a sushi roll and takoyaki. Everything was amazing! The service was also great despite it being pretty busy. It's a bit if a drive from where we live but is well worth the trip. We will be back soon to try out more things from their menu
google avatar

Victoria M.

Yelp
As far as ramen goes, I don't think I would go out of my way to return here. It wasn't the worst ramen however, I wouldn't come back before trying out other options around Boulder. Service was fast but the food was lacking. They have a menu of 7 or so different ramen to choose from. They all were extremely similar flavors but would vary by the broth, or maybe one ingredient. Some items I had to re-read a few times to try to understand what the difference was between the two bowls. I got the soy sauce broth while my friend got the miso ramen. Soy sauce was okay- good while hot but it tasted like it was dumped straight from a soy sauce container and heated up. The miso was bland. They both came with a soft egg which wasn't so soft. It was a grey-ish color and was more of a hard boiled egg. As others have said- the noodles were a bit hard and I had to let them sit a bit to soften up. We also ordered the bacon wrapped jalapenos. The bacon looked under cooked, very fatty, and was extremely chewy. I could only eat one and had to send back the rest. It wasn't terrible, and the price was nice for $12 a bowl. However I'll be trying a few different places before I consider coming back.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
I was not all that impressed by the shoyu ramen at this restaurant. The broth was okay. The pork belly had a rubbery texture and was not very flavorful. I was disappointed that the veggies were just different varieties of cabbage. The only thing I really enjoyed was the soft-boiled egg. Still a good bowl of ramen, but Definitely not worth $12. Service was fast and friendly, dining area was clean. I just really wish the ramen was more authentic.

Mo J.

Yelp
Japanese pancake is the best. Cute "dive" of a place! Great place to have a bite or get to go. Friendly and efficient!
google avatar

Allen S.

Yelp
We've ordered several times through Grubhub and have gotten accurate orders, good food, and reasonble delivery time. All the ramen bowls have been delicious. My favorite is the Tantanmen ramen. The broth is very spicy by itself but is moderated by the ramen ingredients and is a good complement. I though the potstickers and egg rolls were OK but nothing special. The orders are very customizable on Grubhub and you can add or remove almost everything.
google avatar

Cameron S.

Yelp
This was the best ramen I've ever had delivered in such an intelligent way I could not be more pleased with the experience or the food
google avatar

Corey B.

Yelp
I eat here 3/4 times a week , ramens good I wish the eggs were soft instead of the overboiled ones they serve , the katsu is fantastic , they apparently have a shortage of bowls and spoons , which they give me 1 out of 3 times , today they said they were running low ? Sounds like a problem they should fix. they also use the cheapest chopsticks I've ever seen , they give me hands splinters.
google avatar

Anna Z.

Yelp
I have had a lot of Japanese ramen in my life ranging from the amazing ones I'm New York to the bland ones probably originating from an instant noodle box. I honestly didn't have too high hopes for this place since it was in Boulder but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is decorated very nicely and is also very clean. My party of three was seated very quickly and the service was prompt and attentive. They have a plethora of appetizers, more than your usual menu, and all of them looked intriguing. I almost want to come back in the future and just order a few appetizers as my meal. Our table ordered the octopus balls and they were so good!! They were covered in this interesting gravy sauce and it was just amazing I ate half the plate lol. There was also a wide variety of ramen. There is cold ramen, tonkatsu, shoyu, miso, and this very interesting curry one. I decided to go with the curry one and asked them to make it extra spicy. Their house made spicy chili oil and flakes blew me outta this world. It was the perfect amount of oil and added a beautiful redness to my broth. But it wasn't just for show, it was so spicy as well, my table loved it!! But I was so surprised by the ramen itself. It was delicious and the meat was tender and broth was perfect. I had to stop myself from drinking all of it. And it was a very nice and large bowl of noodles. The egg yolk was salty which was the only off putting part. That bowl of ramen really hit the spot on this cold rainy night. Oh and they also deliver via grub hub and hungry buffs how exciting!! Come here if you're in the area craving Japanese ramen! You will not regret.

Philip S.

Yelp
I have only been here once, but the place was amazing. Great Food. Super Fast. Clean and nice service
google avatar

Dawn F.

Yelp
Pretty solid food. We were seated quickly on a weekday night. There was a bit of an odd smell that was a little off-putting, but when our food arrived, we were very happy and forgot all about that. We ate an order of the eggplant steamed buns (from their seasonal daily menu) and vegetarian ramen. The buns were SO yummy and perfect, we decided to order more immediately. The ramen was okay, and after we spiced it up using the ground red pepper/sesame seed topping and chili oil on the table, with a small splash of soy sauce, it was fantastic. This place will be a godsend in the winter. I wish their prices were more reasonable (I've eaten better priced ramen at more highly ranked restaurants in LA - with a few more noodles to boot), but we make do with our limited Asian choices in Boulder, I suppose. Overall, we were very happy and stuffed when we left. We'll be back!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Great pork buns and boba! also great to warm up on cold days with hot sake! we ordered the curry ramen based on my friends love of this place and it has been on my radar ever since. we came in at 4:45 which is an off time but the service was accommodating and fast.
google avatar

Aiden K.

Yelp
Legit bowl of tonkatsu ramen. Broth not overly heavy. Could use more noodles. The setting is very casual. Overall thumbs up.
google avatar

Thorn L.

Yelp
Excellent from drinks to appetizers to entreé - quick service and relaxing atmosphere. The food was great to sight, smell, and taste, and it was the happiest I've probably ever seen my boyfriend. He keeps saying "it's too bomb."

Yelp
FINALLY, real Japanese ramen like I used to get in West L.A.'s Little Japantown and in Vancouver B.C. Noodle noobies: Authentic ramen vs. "top ramen" is like homemade Italian pasta marinara vs. canned spaghetti-o's: the dish seems simple but if everything is done right...quiet awesomeness emerges. These guys get ramen right: the pork belly slices were tender and generous, the vegetables fresh, the wood-ear mushrooms crunchy, the egg just-a-bit-firmer-than-soft-boiled, the ramen tender on the outside but "al dente" in the middle, and most importantly the complex and delicious chicken-pork-root-vegetable bone broth (the heart of a good ramen bowl). I tried the "My Ramen" shoyu and miso variants; both were excellent (see photo). My friend ordered a bunch of izakaya (appetizer sides) including the potato korokke, baked mussels, tempura, and all were very good (though the destination here for me was the ramen). I hope this place stays humming along in the astronomical commercial real estate universe that is Boulder. Note: This restaurant currently has NO street-visible sign--look for the huge blue & orange "Concentra" sign to find the parking lot. Happy noodle hunting!
