It’s easily one of the best Asian restaurants in town—just look at the wall of awards! The Wait: Don't be intimidated by the crowd. We checked in and went back to the car to stay warm. They quoted us 35 minutes, but it was actually closer to 20. Very efficient service! The Food (Portions are HUGE): • Avocado Curry: The highlight! It’s served in a homemade, deep-fried tortilla bowl. I didn’t realize it was edible at first, but it is so delicious once it soaks up the curry. A Tip on the Rice: I ordered a side of jasmine rice, which was delicious, but the portions are so generous and the tortilla bowl is so filling that I ended up way too full! Next time, I might skip the extra rice and just enjoy the curry with the "bowl." • Pad Thai: Perfectly cooked with a great balance of sweet and savory. • Cashew Chicken: Fresh, crunchy, and perfectly cooked. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. We left completely stuffed and happy. If you’re in Tahoe, do not skip this place! 😋🏂

We went there for dinner and ordered the My Thai Hot Wings, Pineapple Fried Rice, My Thai Sizzling, and Pad Thai. The food was pretty good, not amazing but decent, about what you would expect from a typical Thai restaurant. Since there aren’t many dining options around the lake, it’s a nice spot to go when you’re craving Asian food.

I had a great experience at this Thai restaurant yesterday! The flavors are slightly on the sweeter side, which really suits my taste. The portion sizes are huge and very generous. The Tom Yum soup was especially delicious — after getting caught in the rain and taking a cruise, it instantly warmed me up. The crab fried rice was tasty, and my husband’s pork shoulder was not only flavorful but also came in a very large portion. Overall, highly recommended if you don’t mind (or even enjoy) a slightly sweeter Thai flavor profile!

Cozy Restaurant with delicious food! The Avacado Rolls were a delight and really filling. Tom Yum soup was good and opens up your palette. The hungover noodles was delicious but with a lot of meat, which worked perfectly for me. Next time in Tahoe, will come back for sure!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was elegant, warm, and beautifully designed—such a gorgeous setting to enjoy an unforgettable meal. I ordered the crab pad thai, the healthy roll, and the mango cake. Every single bite was pure perfection—so fresh, flavorful, and made with such care. The crab pad thai was rich and perfectly balanced, the healthy roll was light yet packed with deliciousness, and the mango cake was the sweetest, dreamiest finish to the meal. The service was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. You can feel the love and pride that goes into both the food and the experience here. This is hands down one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve ever been to. And honestly, anyone who gives them less than five stars must not know what they’re talking about. Do yourself a favor and come experience this gem—it’s a true 10-star place!

This cute little restaurant was a very big hit! It was a packed house! Lots of locals and travelers come to this place. The service was exceptional! The food was amazing! Definitely will come back here when we do vacation in Tahoe again!

Long wait time on a weekend night, but worth every minute! Sauteed Ginger seafood was perfect, which is hard to do with the different seafood ingredients (shrimp, scallops, mussels, calamari, fish). Jasmine rice came with a heart imprinted ; spicy duck also very good.😊

We ordered Vegan avacado curry and hangover noodles (drunken noodle) it was delicious!! The quality and quantity of the items was great for the price they charged. Service was quick and staff was friendly too! This is must go for Thai in Tahoe !

Red curry- 5/5, delicious, it doesn't come with rice though. Have to order rice as a separate side. Rice- 3/5, small plate. Less for two people to share Steamed noodles- 3/5, no flavor, just basic Spring rolls- 5/5, delicious There is almost always a wait but helpful to go write your name and be close by for them to call. Service is fast, ambience is pretty dark and cramped though.

There aren't very many food options in Lake Tahoe but My Thai Cuisine is a must-stop for us when we're in the area. It offers tasty Thai food and is easily one of the best dining options. We came around 5:30PM on a weeknight and still found ourselves waiting nearly an hour for a table for 8. Lesson learned: show up at an off hour time when coming here! We like the drunken noodles with beef, which have a nice kick and are good for those who can handle some spice. The pad see ew, eggplant lovers and red curry are also all excellent. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the crab fried rice, given that I don't normally like fried rice. We also ordered the broccoli tofu dish for the kids in our group for whom broccoli is the only vegetable they'll eat. TLDR: great Thai food but come early to avoid the lines!

Food was good. Service was great. I knocked off a point because portions were soooo small. Like the entrees were kid sized. They were really busy that day and had run out of a lot of things, so maybe they adjusted portions down? Ran out of thai iced tea and fried rice when we were there. Like I said, food tasted good but expect to spend a little more and order more items to make up for portion sizes.

Words cannot describe how wonderful dining experience at this place. Starting from entering the premises, we were welcomed by Thai woman statue and the staffs. Decor is super Thai authentic, looks like you go to other dimension in Lake Tahoe. Kyoto was so attentive, and willing to explain on our question on each menu. In regards of the menu vegetable delight (even though looks plain in the pic) in reality was so tasty, the way it cooked is to perfection, the veggies were not hard at all. And the most important review is the Duck Curry! Served on Tortilla plate, presentation was so appealing and taste, so crazily delish. The creamy red curry gravy is full of thai spices, there is paprika, cherry tomatoes & pepper. Duck is so tender! My recommendation is to have 2 as spicy level and if you wanna have it spicier, you can always ask the ready chili sauce on the side. Would 1000% recommend!

They have all the basic Thai street food dishes. We tried pad kee mao (drunken noodles), basil fried rice, tom kha soup, and tom yum soup. Everything is really sweet. Portions were good and I appreciated how choosing beef as the protein wasn't an extra cost. Ask for hot sauce to get the pickled peppers and sauces! For the area and for a quick fix it satisfied us, but it's not as good as other Thai spots we've been to back home. I would eat here again if I was visiting Tahoe though! Very fast service.

The waitlist was long and people were still waiting for a table at 830pm on a Saturday. That's probably says it all. It was just me and I walked in with a simple to-go order of chicken pad thai, no beansprouts. I got it in less than ten minutes. Flavorful, a good portion size and I love how they packed it with peanuts and a lime wedge on the side. Will be back to dine in with others and try some other dishes.

Very good thai food in town. I loved the spicy basil fried rice, pad thai and green papaya salad! The tom yum and green curry were also good. The staff there were super friendly and attentive. The only thing was that I felt a bit thirsty after the meal but overall I highly recommend this place

Came here around 12:30, and the parking lot was nearly full (one more empty space). The restaurant was also nearly full, so we were afraid we'd be in for a bit of a wait. But we were greeted instantly, and seated less than a minute later, after a table was cleared. A very friendly waiter took our order. I ordered Pumpkin Red Curry, which arrived in under 20 minutes, accompanied by a combined 2 cups of brown rice (we'd each ordered one). Unfortunately, it was nearly another 10 minutes before my husband's order arrived, with no explanation or mention of the extra wait. The orders must have somehow been separated, and his got pushed back. I asked for my Pumpkin Curry to have extra veggies substituted for the chicken and shrimp it normally comes with, and they delivered. It had a great variety of veggies, including lots of pumpkin, broccoli, carrots, cabbage, bok choy, basil, snow peas, and squash (zucchini?). The red curry sauce was the usual, delicious coconut-based curry - very tasty. I asked for the max spiciness level (5), and it was really hot. I loved it! The only thing I didn't like was it came in a fried tortilla shell "bowl", which I didn't eat. My husband had the Vegetable Delight, which sounded boring to me, but he said he liked it a lot. There was a slightly sweet sauce mixed in with the veggies, and he added some chili flakes to spice it up a bit. He noted how well cooked the veggies were, leaving them crunchy/snappy, but still fully cooked. We enjoyed this meal enough to have a second lunch here a few days later, with similarly good results. I had a Papaya Salad, which was quite unlike any other I've had before. Not only in looks, but in taste. It seemed to be in a peanut sauce (with peanuts halves), which was a bit sweeter than I would like, but I still enjoyed it. I got it at a spice level of 4* (out of 5*), and it was pretty hot, without overwhelming the flavor of the ingredients. My husband had an Eggplant Lovers. He did love it! Eggplant usually soaks up a lot of oil when cooked, so he requested it be made with less oil, and that seemed to work, as they weren't too oily. He asked for 3* spice level (medium), and that worked for him. There was some heat, but not too much. My Thai Cuisine is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area.

Excellent spot for top notch Thai food. The flavors are outstanding. Exact to wait for holiday weekend or busy season. Love the decor too, very authentic. We had the tom kha with vegetables super delicious and the hangover noodles with tofu was on point. Kyo, our server was super cute and funny. Check it out.

Best Thai food in town. The ingredients are fresh, seasoning is on point, and the taste is authentic. I love the crab fried rice and all their curries so much. The papaya salad is mouthwatering as well. Servers are attentive and friendly. They come check every 10-15 mins on every table. The only downside is that the space is so packed with tables. There is no space to go in and out of the seats, I have to squeeze myself out every time I want to get up and out of my seat. They need to re-arrange the tables so they are not to close and each group has some privacy/comfort for not too close to other groups.

I went to this place and it was PACKED on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately it was almost impossible to even talk to anyone or check in because they were too busy handling customers and door dash. There's almost no waiting room so it's cramped. I finally got to put my name down, I asked how long it would be and they said 40 min and we will call you. And there's a sign that you need to wait outside the restaurant. Guess what? They never called me at ALL the whole night.

This is one of best Thai restaurants I've ever went to. The food and service is always a 10/10. There are depths of flavor and they use quality in their dishes. This crepe cake was the best dessert to end off the meal because it was light and refreshing.

The food was absolutely spectacular! The instant you walk in the door, you're hit in the face with the amazing aroma of all the different spices and flavors! It was a 35 minute wait for two but I am so glad we waited! It's loud but that's to be expected with a restaurant that's completely packed! Red curry with seafood was absolutely amazing! Cheese crab Rangoons were also amazing!

This place definitely beats my expectation and ranked the top pad Thai restaurants I have ever been. It has just the fine amount of flavor and sweetness. I also highly recommend their salad: my Thai salad, that is completely vegetarian with varieties of veggies and fried tofu. It's refreshing and it comes with two sauces: peanut and mango sauce. They didn't have the mango sticky rice dessert. But I did end up trying their Pandan coconut cake. It's light, not too much cream. Has a spongy, subtle sweetness. Highly recommend. -1*: I didn't like so much of the house special pot: Tom yum creamy jumbo freshwater shrimp dish. The shrimps are a bit overcooked and tasted rubbery.

This place is extremely busy. Book ahead! Loved the food and beautifully presented desserts. Service was prompt and on point. Ambience feels like one is in the beautiful Thailand, calm and serene. Limited parking available nearby, but hard to find a spot when the restaurant is busy.

South Lake Tahoe is not a place I would believe to have good Thai food. But how I was wrong! This place was clean, large and the staff were amazing. I got beef hangover noodles also known as drunken noodles. So tasty perfect spice level for me I got a two of five so I was good with the heat. They also had baby corn and mushrooms in theirs which ive never had in this dish before. Fabulous. If i am looking for Thai next time I am in SLT ill swing by again.

This is more American Thai in flavor and spice. Service was poor. Server was walking away as I was ordering and walked away while asking for things. Very rude. My silverware was very dirty and I asked kindly for another set. My glass was also very dirty, but the server walked away while I asked and I never got a new one. Spice level is 1 for sure. Less than mild. BUT it is one of the only Asian places in the area. Food is good, just could be better in flavor and spice. I think it is Americanized.

3.5 stars Wow super expensive price for the small portion! The prior reviews seem misleading. The quality/flavor of the Thai food is less than in the Bay Area and way way less than SF! Also no wait time for us at lunchtime at 12:15 pm Definitely Americanized. Here's what we ordered from best to worst: 1) Ginger fish $21-wish there more pieces of fish & sauce, but nice flavor -fried fish 2) yellow curry chicken $17 - we actually sent this back to the kitchen initially bc the veggies were raw and hard, needed to be cooked more & be more hot in food temperature. We're so glad we asked bc when it came out again, the veggies were more cooked and the chef fixed the curry sauce -more thick & with flavor. Brought leftover home. And truly tastes much better the next day after the spices soak in, creating so much flavor. 3) fried spring rolls veggie $13 6 teeny tiny finger fried spring rolls. So $2.15 each. Actually, it was the only thing my kid would eat. So two orders. Total $26 for 12 finger sized fried spring rolls. 4) tom yum soup bowl $12 Ok flavor, but it's a pass bc much much better can be had outside of Tahoe. 5) pineapple fried rice $21 Nice amt of prawns, but a few not fresh Total $106 with tax before tip for 2 hungry adults and 1 picky kid Service was ok, not very friendly; but just a busy place where English is not the first language for most of the employees? So perhaps some customers might think there is rudeness with some of the employees, but actually they are just very stressed and direct. Restrooms were very clean & basic. This place is busy due to the season & the scarcity of Thai restaurants in Tahoe.

This restaurant is extremely accommodating of large parties. Although we had to wait a bit for a big table to be ready, it was completely worth it. The food and service here are excellent. Kyo (Keyo) was very helpful and fun hosting our table. His jokes always cracked up the table, and make the experience more lively. The food is excellent - it's been a while since I've had such good pad thai. The mango desserts are also great and were a big hit. Kyo was kind enough to split the bill in a bunch of different ways, which made paying a lot easier for us. We'll definitely be back :)

This is probably one of the best Thai spots in Lake Tahoe. It's a little further from all the casino hotels. The staff is super friendly. There was about a 10 minute wait, but The restaurant is a little small. The parking is pretty big, but they do get busy. Everything we ordered was great. Full of flavors! The papaya, was spicy which I love! Definitely will come back whenever I am in town.

Visited My Thai on vacation and was pleasantly impressed by this place! We arrived pretty early for dinner on a weekday as I had read online reviews that it can get pretty busy at times. I tried the chicken pad Thai and my husband got tom yum noodle soup. Portions were excellent and food was delicious! The food came out extremely fast and was hot. Our server was extremely warm and friendly- great service! I was also impressed with the ambiance and decor. I think the decor and excellent service really excelled compared to other Thai places I have been to around the country. And of course great food to top it off! Would recommend giving this place a try.

Decided on a trip to Tahoe for the snow and felt like eating Thai food for dinner. We came across My Thai Cuisine from our friend's recommendation and it was pretty good overall! Walking in, I was getting cozy friendly vibes where it wasn't too loud. The servers were nice and always had a smile on their face. Onto the food, you have to scan the QR code in order to see the menu. We decided to try out the Pad Thai Special and the Tom Kha soup (pot) with shrimp. The Pad Thai Special was decently proportioned and it tasted great! Noodles were not too chewy, the shrimp was not rubbery, and the overall a good balance of sweet and salty with a bit of sour from tamarind paste. The Tom Kha soup was very good as well! It had a nice sweetness from the coconut milk with a kick of acidity from the lime and lemon grass. We did the shrimp add on for $4 and we were given 4 shrimp so essentially a dollar a shrimp. Overall, I'd come back here again and try out other dishes.

We visited My Thai Cuisine on Saturday while visiting Lake Tahoe. We got a table upon arrival without a reservation. I really liked their interior design, with the gold Buddha and all the beautiful wall decor. Their food was great! The Royal Duck Curry ($22.95) was delicious! The roasted duck, bell peppers, tomatoes, pineapple, basil, coconut milk, and red curry paste mixed very well. Highly recommend this dish! The Yellow Curry Chicken (with a choice of meat) ($16.95) was very good as well. The Tom Kha Soup with big shrimp ($19.95) was excellent, and the shrimp were huge. :) The Spicy Basil with Beef ($16.95) was good. The Pad Thai ($16.95) was good. The Thai-style Fried Rice ($16.95) was great! I loved their Mango Cake--so yummy! I even bought two more to-go after finishing one in the restaurant. The service was excellent! Our server was very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed our time and the food at My Thai Cuisine. We will definitely visit again whenever we're in Tahoe!

Cute and delicious Thai place in South Lake Tahoe! Our group wanted a quick dinner when we arrived and we stumbled upon this place. We were in a rush and called them ahead to ask if there was a wait and they said they could take us right away. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated almost right away. I appreciated how the servers knew we had a time limit and helped us place our orders quickly and efficiently. The dishes came out maybe 5 min later and was immediately served! They were all so delicious, we ordered the pad Thai, basil fried rice, green curry, pad see ew and papaya salad. Highly recommend the papaya salad (super big portion and refreshing) and the green curry. We even got a cute kids plate that included some complimentary freshly cut fruit for our toddler! Probably one of the best Thai places I've had in the area. Would definitely come back again.

Several times here and it's definitely a must stop every time we are blessed with the opportunity to visit South Lake Tahoe. It's one of those places that if you skip it, you'll regret it for months and months to come. The restaurant is easy to find as you enter the city. It's beautiful decorated with cultured pictures, statues, and aromas of spices. The service is great too. It can get pretty busy so make sure to plan ahead. We just happen to drop in during a break from a bicycle ride around the city. Stop in and sit for a meal or take it to go. You won't regret it!

The wait is worth it! The most authentic Thai food in town and peak hours can be anywhere from 30 min to over an hour, all dependent on the size of party. They don't accept reservations. The prices are reasonable and the flavor profiles are on point. We ordered tom kha with pork and it was delicious! For entrees, we order My udon with veggies, spicy eggplant with beef and rice, and crying tiger. All were super tasty and portions were generous. I really enjoyed the interior decor as it reminded me of Thailand. It's definitely on the smaller side, so most people congregate in the front area when they're waiting and it can feel very cramped.

We love the cute minions decorations next to their front entrance. Their interior decor has beautiful Thai cultural icons such as the gold Thai buddha and gold elephants. -Tom Kha Soup (the fire burned out before the soup warms up so we had lukewarm soup; make sure to ask them to reignite the soup for you). -Royal Duck Curry (this item was savory and decent, but not as spicy as we were hoping for). -Avocado Rolls (it was full of avocado and very fillings). -Hangover Noodles (very savory and delicious; probably the best dish we ordered). -My Thai Sizzling (it was just ok, not spicy at all even though we asked for Thai spicy level). -Thai Ice Tea (pretty good). Their spicy level goes from 1 to 5 and Thai spicy, but even with Thai spicy it tasted more like mild spicy. Overall, the decors are 4 stars but the food was just ok average.

I love Pad Thai and get it almost anywhere that has it when visiting a new place. Here it was OK. I ordered it spicy, but it wasn't. Even with hot chili oil, it still wasn't very hot. In the end, I was full. The ambiance was very good and well-decorated. Service was slow given the level of business in the restaurant (3 tables total, I think).

Popcorn lobster is crispy and sauce is very flavorful. Pad Thai and fried rice r both excellent. Decor is nice and also provides kids utensils. Will be back if I'm in the area

The basil chicken and fresh spring rolls were ok. Decent place that's open till 9:30 pm in Tahoe! PS they don't answer the phone haha so don't bother

Came here during our last Tahoe trip. It was recommended by our Airbnb host. There was no wait. Ambiance was nice with Thai decor. However, we were disappointed with the food. Everything was small portion and bland. We were especially disappointed with the avocado roll. The skin was not crispy nor golden. It's not what we expected. All in all, food was mediocre and it was on the expensive side. Maybe this is the best in Tahoe according to yelp stars but compare to Bay Area Thai restaurants, it's just not up to par.

My Thai Cuisine is a nice restaurant They have their own small lot. The ambiance is nicely decorated in Thai photos, sculptures, etc. A good-sized restaurant. Inside seating only. But they have rooms for a couple of large parties. Two separate restrooms, one for men's and one for women but extra stalls. PAPAYA SALAD (Thai Style): Green papaya, carrot, peanut, green bean, tomato, Thai chili, Thai eggplant and fresh lime juice (4/5). Good tart mildly spicy flavor from the lime juice and chili. Though, wish they didn't include the small lime with the peel. RED CURRY: Choice of meat (BEEF) with bamboo shoot, broccoli, bell pepper, basil, coconut milk and red curry paste (4/5). Tender cooked beef and flavorful curry. MY THAI CURRY: Choice of meat (PORK), asparagus, snow pea, baby carrot, broccoli, coconut milk, PEANUT BUTTER, home made curry paste, served in home made-deep fried tortilla bowl and topped with cashew nut (5/5). This was my favorite! Nicely presentation and flavorful thick sauce. PAD THAI (Sweet): Choice of meat (CHICKEN) Stir fried with rice noodle, egg, bean sprout and green onion (4/5). Nice presentation as the scrambled and egg on top but it didn't look like an egg. The flavor was on the sweeter side. But, I liked the flavor. PAD SEE EW (A little bit sweet): Choice of meat (BEEF) Stir fried with flat rice noodles, egg, broccoli, Chinese broccoli in sweet soy sauce (4/5). Flavorful soft rice noodles in a dark sauce. Though, no Chinese broccoli but American. :( Overall, a great place for Thai cuisine. We will be back!

I've gone to this location 3 times. Two were ordering for pick up and once was to dine in. It's a nice location, very decorative, friendly staff. When I ordered pick up my order as incorrect both times. Which I didn't mind going back to correct it since I don't live far. When we dined in, the food was good. It didn't come out as hot (in temperature) as I expected it to be though. And the mild spice level definitely has no spicy to it, so you might want to up to a medium spice level if you want a little heat. We got the cashew Thailand, Yellow Curry, and the Massaman Curry, and added on 5 orders of rice since 1 order didn't seem to be enough for 1 person. Overall we like the food, most the times we come here it's so busy being the #1 reviewed for Thai food in SLT, so sometimes we leave because of the long wait time. I still recommend since it's a good Thai spot in town.

Yummy Thai food! Came on a friday night and had to wait to be seated for a bit. Since there was no room inside for guests to wait and we had a large ish party, we had to wait outside/in our cars... Didn't come with high expectations, but I actually ended up really liking their food! I got their pad see ew and it was very flavorful and the portion was pretty good too! The interior was also nicely decorated. They have some cool looking dishes too!

Needed a quick bite after a busy morning exploring the area. My absolute favorite dish was the pad thai special. The balance of the flavor was just right and loved the garnish on the plate. Second favorite was the tok yum soup. The only dish that always different from what I was expecting was the garlic shrimp. I should of paid more attention- I was expecting more of a fried and crunchy dish but seems like the garlic shrimp was maybe boiled and the sitrred fried a litthe? But it wamusore mushroom that shrimp and the taste of garlic was missing. The decoration in the restaurant was well thought out and gave out south eastern tropical vibes. The waiters were also very attentive and prompt.

Last 2 times we are there: 1) Sat at a table and took over 60 minutes to get food after our order 2) ordered a dish and asked to add broccoli. Got our bill and it was 8 dollars too add a few pieces of broccoli. It was their "policy". Lost our business we are never coming back

Loved the food here. Pad see ew & the pineapple fried rice were such a big hit for our group. The service here was super fast and the food was ready so quickly. The restaurant was pretty clean too.

Culinary highlight of our vacation. Service is friendly and the food was excellent!! - chicken fried rice had incredible flavors with a kick of spicy - mango curry was a standard yellow curry with mangoes inside it. Very interesting but I'll probably go for a regular yellow curry next time - pad see ew was what you'd expect but very tasty - the homemade mango cake is a must try!!

Small restaurant with a line out the door when we arrived . Cute small spot with delicious food and service ! Would definitely be back and recommend eating here!

3.8 stars. (This review is solely based on take away order) Parking was quite a hassle finding parking. Granted, we came on a Saturday late lunch. Before I can even get to the main entrance to speak to the host, I had to weave through a whole bunch of guests that were blocking the main door. Once I got through, their receiving area was so small. Since we ordered via phone, i must say they had our food ready when they said it'd be ready. Food packaging was good as well. As for the food taste, it was pretty good. Good authentic flavors. You must try their papaya salad lap style! Try and stop by whenever you visit South Lake Tahoe.

The restaurant is clean and beautiful. Service was friendly and very responsive. I ordered the red curry with tofu. I asked for it spicy. They asked for a spice level 1 to 5. I asked for a 5. My food came and it looked great. There were lots of veggies and a generous amount of tofu. The first bite had me questioning of level 1 was the hottest rather than 5. There was a little heat but nothing like I'm used to. We had to ask for something to make it spicier. We got the condiment tray with 4 different options. That took my food to an entirely different level. It was delicious!

Our party of five had a wonderful dining experience here during Christmas week. There was a line out the door when we arrived but we were seated in less than 20 minutes. There was an interior is beautifully decorated, service is friendly and quick, and we were not rushed at all even though it was a busy evening (12/23). We ordered a mix of curry, vegetarian tofu dishes, seafood, beef, and shrimp with sides of jasmine rice. Portions were quite generous and a few of us had leftovers for lunch the next day. Try the side of peanut sauce, it is out of this world!

They discriminate people with disabilities with service dogs. I checked with the receptionist after waiting 40mins in the car (supposedly 30mins), she said she called several times to tell me they don't allow service dogs. showed her my phone (thank goodness for call history), I never received any calls. Three employees were arguing with me for about 15mins (one calm n one waived arms at me), at the end, they offered a corner table (which I understand) with another 15min wait. After seated, no one greeted us until we waived n ready to orer (approx 10mins later). The receptionist gave us a really really dirty look as we walked in. The calm server took the order very politely, apologized and offered to rush the order and they did. The arm waiving tall server w/ glasses ignored us even after saw me waiving. I don't blame the employees, they follow the owners instructions. It's the owner needs to be respectful and does not discriminate.

When it was time for dinner, I went to go pick up some Thai food. They do their spice levels 1 to 5, but the coz can't do too spicy. So I ordered my papaya salad at 5 and the rest at 4. Note, 4 is not really that spicy. He was fine. Hands down, one of the best lao style papaya salads I've had in a while. So flavorful! And a good amount of spice. Not quite the burn my mouth off spice I like, but still a good heat. The coz wanted the green curry and pad thai. He enjoyed both. Tho I was missing bamboo shoots in the curry. Typically when I order green curry it comes with bamboo shoots. The basil chicken I'd skip next time. Not much chicken. More onions and other veggies than anything else. I've tried the Thai spot next door as well. Both have stronger dishes, but the papaya salad wins here. Would come back just for that. REVIEW #3475
