We arrived around 1:15 PM and had a short wait of about 10 minutes for our table. Upon entering, you place your order and name with the staff, who will let you know when to come back — ours was 10 minutes later. The menu is simple, and we tried the abalone rice claypot, butter abalone, and abalone sashimi.
The banchan includes mackerel, which is fairly generous and tasty, though slightly on the salty side. The abalone rice claypot is absolutely delicious! There are instructions on how to enjoy it, and following them really elevates the experience — from the first bite to the last, it’s amazing.
Surprisingly, about 40% of the diners were Singaporeans, which made it feel a little like home!
