Mykonian Garden - Review - Midtown East - New York - The Infatuation

"Near Sutton Place, Mykonian Garden is from the team behind Mykonian House a little further uptown. As the name suggests, the Greek restaurant has lots of outdoor seating, and the focus is on grilled seafood. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists. Four of us visited this new restaurant for the second time. We were greeted warmly at the entrance by one of the owners who escorted us to a table outside under the covers as the weather was very nice. We brought our own wine and paid a $35 corking charge. For food we ordered two appetizers to share and then ordered lamb chops and salmon to share. Service was friendly and professional. Prices are a bit more than other restaurants in our area but well worth it. It was a wonderful dining experience and we are eager to go again. We ate late today so the restaurant was already emptying out. Will come earlier next time. We went back again with an out of town couple. We ordered the lamb and trout for my wife and I to share. Both were nicely cooked and delicious. Another wonderful dining experience.

Loved Mykonain Garden! The food was super tasty and fresh, and the staff were really friendly. We had the moussaka and lamb, both were amazing! The lamb was super tender and the moussaka was rich and full of flavor. Great spot for delicious Greek food, we’ll definitely be back!

Mykonian Garden was such a fabulous dining experience! They offer a beautiful garden-like setting hidden right under the Queensboro Bridge. Inside the restaurant is also gorgeous so don’t forget to check it out. The food is delicious with a freshness you can taste in every bite. There’s also a great selection of wines and selected cocktails to pair with the your food. Mykonian Garden also a lovely semi-private dining area with peaceful views of the garden, perfect for intimate gatherings. Staffs are both friendly and professional providing excellent recommendations for their excellent menu. Take a break from the busy streets of Manhattan enjoy a meal with Mykonian Garden’s haven!

I went here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. And from the moment we walked in the door they greeted us with such a warm welcome & had amazing service!!! The ambiance was beyond beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a large restaurant! Food was 11/10. And they gave us a beautiful free dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Reminder us of our honeymoon back in Greece. We will definitely be returning! Thank you for such a special dinner!!

We had a delicious meal; complete with crisp accompanying wine and attentive service. The food was most enjoyable due to the freshness, preparation, quantity and presentation. The decor was really nice too! We were a group of five and had a fabulous time. I await to return for a date night. Less people to share with, more for me. I highly recommend trying this place!

Worth every penny! Arrived a bit before opening/service time with my dear friend for a girls night out. The owner said sit and relax we will take care of you, and did they ever ! As a self professed non carb, don’t even think about the bread basket let me say that went straight out the window! The bread was incredible and perfection warm. Hummus smooth. The mussels to die for! We ordered another.Best I’ve ever had in my life. The Chilean Bass was perfection. Greek yogurt for dessert was equally insanely delicious. I have a hard palate to please and I’m an epicurean of cuisine. X marks the spot at this treasure of a restaurant. Limani and Avra watch out there is a new Captain at the helm.

Mykonian Garden is one of those NYC spots that instantly transports you. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, lively, and authentically Greek—beautiful without being pretentious. The food is outstanding. Every dish tastes fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully prepared, like it came straight from a seaside taverna in Mykonos. The grilled meats are perfectly cooked, the seafood is incredibly fresh, and the mezze are made for sharing (you’ll want to order more than you think). Everything is seasoned beautifully—simple, clean flavors that let the ingredients shine. Service is attentive and welcoming without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience feel relaxed and celebratory at the same time. It’s the kind of place you go for a special dinner but end up wanting to come back just because the food is that good. If you’re looking for exceptional Greek cuisine in NYC with a gorgeous setting and an inviting vibe, Mykonian Garden is a must. Come hungry—you won’t regret it.

Google
Great food with great atmosphere. The wine recommendation from the bartender was amazing, she is very professional and helpful, outstanding taste on the food side. The restaurant looks amazing, and great hospitality from the owners and employers. There was life music and it was really enjoyable to listen to Eleanna and the band. Will be back.

Yelp
Extremely welcoming staff. The place also looks stunning especially the tree they have up for the holidays. The apps are also amazing. Lobster pasta was a bit salty but the special of the day was definitely on point.

Yelp
Fresh food with generous portions. The lamb shank was amazing, moist, 3 meals worth. The octopus appetizer was excellent too, not chewy. Friendly staff too. Easy take out too.

Yelp
Lovely environment and overly friendly staff! That said, I wish the menu had a few more veg/vegan options clearly-- especially a vegan main would be nice! Overall would consider going again. Hope they stay around!

Yelp
We LOVED this gorgeous new Greek restaurant in the Sutton Place neighborhood. Beautiful room, perfect service, great great food! A welcome addition to the fine dining establishments in the area. Excellent appetizers, hummus, tzatziki, grilled octopus. Tender braised lamb with orzo. Wonderful fresh Greek salad with perfect feta. Yummy desert of Greek yoghurt, honey, walnuts and cherries. We'll be regulars!
