The Odyssey: The best hotels in the Greek islands

"Set on a peninsula across the bay from Mykonos’s town center, it’s perfectly placed for stunning sunset views. This hillside escape is familiar enough, its whitewashed cubes rising from rough-hewn stone walls, and when you’ve got a formula as successful as the Cycladic one there’s no need for a stylistic revolution — just a thoughtful, confident execution, and No5 is certainly that." - Le Guide MICHELIN

The hotel & its staff were all amazing. Very relaxed atmosphere, attentive & friendly staff - but not over the top, great food & cocktails and a really lovely warm pool with plenty of seating. We had a suite with a pool which was worth every penny for our group of 4 friends for a long weekend. The location is up a steep hill and the road at the bottom means it's not ideal for just walking into the nearest amenities. You can get a taxi but govt policy means that for tourists, the minimum spend on any taxi is 30euros no matter how short a distance so bear that in mind. We couldn't fault this hotel. It as great value for money. A special mention to the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them.

Overall experience was wonderful. The staff picked us up at the airport and deposited us to the ferry port on our departure day at no additional cost. Breakfast was included and had wide variety of choices (though we do not believe that anyone in Greece knows "crispy" bacon). We were greeted at the hotel and show to our room. Would like to have more than 2 coffees provided free per day. We did not investigate a cab to go to "town"--if you do not have a car know that the hotel will drop you off for 30 Euros 9and pick you up for 30 to return). We went into town one day to shop and eat--you can easily accomplish that in one day. Nice pool with chairs to relax.

We came for a very short vacation only 2.5 days but loved every minute. From the hitted pool, nice room with view to the sea and the great service, staff was super nice and took care of everything we needed. But the best part was the food - the place has a small restaurant with not a lot of dishes but every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious! Breakfast is big and great, nice light options for lunch, and the clams linguine for dinner was amazing.

An unforgettable experience at No5 Mykonos – a true gem! From the moment we arrived at No5 Mykonos, we felt like we had stepped into a world of pure serenity, luxury, and refined hospitality. The location is stunning – peaceful and private, with breathtaking panoramic views overlooking Little Venice. The hotel’s design exudes elegance, with every detail thoughtfully curated. Our room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with high-end amenities. The pool area was fantastic – clean, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. The service throughout our stay was impeccable: warm, professional, and always discreetly attentive. The cocktails and food were absolutely incredible – flavorful, creative, and presented with care. Breakfast was just as impressive, offering fresh, high-quality ingredients and a variety of options to suit every taste. What truly sets No5 apart is the people. The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and made us feel completely welcome from the very first moment. If you're looking for a place that combines tranquility, elevated aesthetics, gourmet experiences, and sincere hospitality, No5 Mykonos is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return! Thank you No5 ❤️

This place is absolutely wonderful! The team and hotel manger Eva greeted us the first night with friendly service and stunning accommodations! Throughout our 4 day stay the staff was very quick with any and all requests and treated our family with the upmost respect. The views are amazing, and the rooms very clean. We look forward to coming back next year! Highly recommend for all types of people from those with kids such as us or new couples for a romantic stay.

The hotel is nice, and we stayed in a suite with a pool. The staff were very friendly and attentive. However, we were disappointed with the breakfast, which was rather boring, and unfortunately, our room smelled of cigarettes. Considering the price of the suite, you could probably find something better. The location was fine, but nothing extraordinary.

We recently stayed at Mykonos No5 as a group of 6 friends (3 couples) and had a great experience there. ||We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, especially the à la carte breakfast, the pool, and the daybeds. The views from the hotel and the rooms were fantastic. There is also a tiny gym on the property that's decent for a quick workout. ||Stella and Eva were friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. The hotel handled any issues we had professionally and went above and beyond to make things right. ||The location isn't the most convenient, but it also isn't too far from all the main attractions like old town, Nammos, and the popular beach clubs. It costs around 30-40 euros one way to get to most places (depending on the number of people and how far). There's also free parking at the hotel if you decide to rent a car and drive.||Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the hotel and would recommend it for people looking for a hotel with good breakfast, views, and pool!

My wife and I had an amazing stay at Mykonos No 5. From the moment we were picked up at the port to the moment we were dropped off, the service was truly 5-star—we were treated like royalty. I did a lot of research before booking, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. The rooms, the views, and the overall atmosphere were everything we hoped for.||||One tip: rent a car. It’s a quick 10-minute drive into town and much more affordable than relying on the $40 shuttle each way (which can add up fast). A lower-cost shuttle option would be a welcome improvement, but that’s a small note in what was otherwise a perfect stay. We can’t wait to come back.
