"I attended The Smith Center, opened in 2012 and home to the Nevada Ballet Theater and the Las Vegas Philharmonic, which hosts Broadway performers and music legends across three theaters and an outdoor space; inside the center Myron's Cabaret Jazz even has its own food and drink menu that includes charcuterie and bento boxes, making it easy to pair dinner with a show while still being close to the west end of Fremont Street and the Arts District." - Eater Staff

Avoid composers showcase at Myrons, as it's solely built on it's musical director's rampant favoritism, discrimination and greed. Performed at Composers showcase at @Myrons and always recieved such amazing welcome and lots of compliments from the crowd and my fellow musicians. Yet, it's musical director, very competitive, women hating man - Keith Thompson, literally "cuts oxygen" for female talent by denying any use of orchestra, shaming musicians for writing music by ear, (he wrote to me, that according to his husband, -everyone should be reading charts, 🙄🙄🙄 instead of having and using a natural gift for songwriting by ear, ( a lot harder then reading notes and doing math), like many great musicians, - including Jimi Hendrix, Elvis and Elton John.) He is mooching for sponsors and cash at the beginning of each composers showcase, pretending, that it will benefit creative, local talent - in reality, it has nothing to do with any support of any talent, -he does not practice what he preaches, and is agressively after cash for his greedy "non profit". It has nothing to do with real local talent and everything to do with greedy, local men with their preferences against female talent. I will leave it here, as he had the guts to leave me way too many painful, personal insults, via texts, certainly shaming for writing by ear. Pls, support other non profits, that really do, care about talented songwriters and practice what they preech.

What a great venue to listen to live music. I came here to watch Meow Meow. She was absolutely great and funny at the same time. There's a lot of parking around the area, but keep in mind there's a parking fee. TIP: If you order a bottle of wine, they will not cork it and allow you to take the bottle home. Luckily, I asked, so I opted for a glass instead. I ordered a pizza and salad. The food was ok, and it held me over until we could have dinner elsewhere. The venue is clean, and the seats are great. We sat on the floor on the regular tables, and there's high tops towards the back. Our server was also very nice. You can order on the app or with the server. They will cash you out right before the show ends. Overall, it's a great spot.

Google
Amazingly well built, this place provides acoustics, views, accessibility, mood. One of the best venues to enjoy live music and great shows. Booking is amazing so almost guaranteed you’ll see a great show here.

Google
Great venue to enjoy an intimate performance, at a reasonable price. We were delightfully entertainment by Ané in her production It’s a man’s world. Awesome show with great singing, dancing, musicians and show girls. Not, to mention Ané she is amazing. The lite fare menu was great with delicious drinks too! I can’t wait to go back to another show with Ané at the Smith Center.

Google
Attended the Vonda Shepard show at Myron's. First, I have never seen a venue that keeps its doors locked up until one hour before a show. We arrived at 5:30 for a 7 pm show and couldn't get in so went down the street to Vic's for appetizers. Would like to see Myron's open doors at least 90 minutes prior to an event, especially when they do serve food and alcohol. Due to its decision making, Myron's loses money and Vic's gains food and beverage revenue because of this choice. Second, no one informed us that for any food or beverage ordering during the show you needed to scan your table to place an order. Sat there wondering why no waitress would come to our table to ask if we wanted anything and about halfway thru the show figured it out. You can't assume all your customers understand your policy which is poor customer service. Finally the men's bathroom was very small outside the venue with only two urinals that caused a large line after the show. May want to consider expanding them for customer satisfaction. On a positive note all staff including the parking lot attendants were fantastic and helpful. Shout out to them!

My wife and I went for an evening show and we had a great time. We sat right by the stage and had a great view. We ordered some food and drinks which were amazing. I do not recommend coming here hungry though, the food is served bento style and is at best a snack. Parking was free and very easy; they even had a free shuttle. We walked around before the show and there is a small bar and lounge area on the second floor that was pretty cool. The interior of the building is beautiful and reminds me of Gotham City. If Las Vegas is to ever get a Batman, his origin story will begin at the Smith Center. Over all I highly recommend coming to the Cabaret Jazz. It's a great date night experience.

Google
My mom and I attended Keiko Matsui's performance at Myron's at The Smith Center last Saturday. It was my first time seeing a live music performance at Myron's and I was impressed with the venue's acoustics, unique seating (all in jazz club style round tables seating 4 people to a table) and elegant interior. We had front row seats, which provided an incredible view of the performance. However, the venue is intimate and offers two levels of seating. Additionally, you can order food and drinks straight to your table using a QR code and app on your phone. I highly recommend experiencing a show at Myron's.

Google
Love everything about this venue. This was our second time at Myron’s. The first time we sat in the main floor area and the second time in the mezzanine. Both were great views as it is an intimate setting but my husband really loved the mezzanine. The food is delicious, we ordered a variety both times and were very pleased. We ordered cocktails on the first visit and a bottle of wine on the second, all were good. Prices are fair and the waitstaff is so attentive and friendly. The entertainment on both visits was outstanding!

Yelp
We had another great experience here at Myron's watch Melody Sweet performance with other singers and a great group of musicians. We love this venue. Everything from the variety of shows, food and drinks, friendly staff, seating, lights and sound and overall atmosphere. Parking is easy, close and reasonable. The show was great and entertaining. We have seen Melody Sweets in the past and never are disappointed and always curious what her show had in-store for us. Definitely will be returning (next show is yacht rock).

Yelp
It has taken many, many years for Las Vegas to develop into the city it is now. Growing up here my whole life, I never thought I would see arts, music and cultural come to our city but happy to see it has arrived in many forms. I have had the opportunity to attend a couple of great shows here at Myrons. I also volunteer here which allows me to be introduced to many new singers and bands as well. Myron's is a small, intimate venue and there is not a bad seat in the house. There are a total of 240 seats and the seating features two levels. High tops are towards the back of the first floor and then small low tops are closer to the stage. Upstairs the high top seating is in a U shape providing for optimal views. If you are seated downstairs, you will be sharing your table with strangers unless there are four people attending. So far, I have been very impressed with the shows I have seen and have discovered a new artist thanks to my good friend for inviting me to see Emmaline. The acoustics are fabulous as well as the theater being designed so well. The back drop on the stage presents a sunset over the Las Vegas strip and it is very pleasing to the eye. Arrive a little early and you will be able to secure your drinks and small bites before the show begins. We had excellent service from our server (so sorry I forgot her name). I enjoyed my shrimp cocktail and glass of wine. Parking is provided in the garages on the premises. Parking will cost you $6. Looking forward to seeing many more shows here. At last, my city finally grew up!

Yelp
I love seeing shows at Myron's. It has a swanky cabaret type ambiance that is intimate and inviting. The fact that this room has tables and food is also a plus. We have ordered pretty much everything over the years and everything has been delicious. Drinks have been good and service is always friendly and efficient. We usually sit upstairs which gives you a great vantage point and is also slightly more exclusive. We enjoy our nights out at Myron's and can say it only gets better each time.

Yelp
Myron's had the perfect ambiance for intimate musical performances. We have attended a few smooth jazz concerts here and every experience is amazing. I love that they have table and chair seating so you can enjoy a drink and have some light bites. The acoustics in this hall are outstanding! I was impressed how good the food and wine selection was and very reasonably priced. There were some glasses of wine for $10 and bottles for $40. They bring your food and drink table side and you can order from your phone. We tried hand tossed pizza $9! It was fresh and perfect for one person. Charcuterie board was nice and we tried a side of cashews that were served warm! Overall a great experience!

Yelp
What a fabulous venue to see a show - we went to see The Glenn Miller Orchestra and couldn't have been happier. From the minute you walk through the doors, the staff welcome you and are so nice - ready to help you find your table or answer any questions you may have. Once we got to the table, our waitress was super nice and took great care of us. They have a small food menu, we tried a shrimp cocktail that was tasty followed by a bottle of champagne for the show. The room holds a couple hundred people maybe? It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back - highly recommend!

Yelp
Myron's is our favorite venue. The venue is beautiful, the customer service is fantastic and the food is excellent. The audio and lighting is also outstanding. We just love it here. We went to the Huntertones Christmas concert - those guys are amazing.

Yelp
The place is really pretty; it has a unique ambiance that makes you feel like you're in a different city, and we loved that about it. The food menu was great, and the drinks were enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the performer was good too. Next time, we plan to schedule dinner in advance so we can truly enjoy the drinks and the atmosphere.

Yelp
What are absolute gem? I never knew this establishment was here before. Very clean modern up-to-date. Definitely going to be bringing my parents. They would enjoy any venue at this location. Service was great. The waiters were attentive and very prompt with our order. The food was OK that there wasn't much of a selection, but it was just enough to get us through the event, not bad

Love Y.

Yelp
Love Myron's and have seen wonderful shows there; however recently it feels like they added way more tables downstairs. It's too tight, claustrophobic.
google avatar

Ted B.

Yelp
We love the entertainment and atmosphere at Myrons, but we were very disappointed in the new food menu. The old one had a good variety and we were able to actually eat dinner. However, the new selections just were not that good and we won't be able to eat when coming to future shows.

Yelp
We've seen "Wicked" at the Smith Center years ago, but, we've never been to Myron's. A friend invited the Mrs & I as a Christmas gift from her & we just loved the place. We went in to see Clint Holmes Christmas Show. I really don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The staff walked us to our table & we had no sooner sat down, before a waitress popped up with menus & took our order. Wine, cheese plates & pizza quickly arrived & the prices were surprisingly reasonable. What a great musical experience! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Yelp
Excellent venue-we saw Al Stewart and the music and food and drinks were all excellent! Wonderful place to take out of town guests! Great parking and easy process to purchase your tickets. I have been many times and it only gets better!!

Yelp
Best place for intimate music experiences. Make sure you like the type of music being presented and then just relax have a couple drinks. A shrimp cocktail (surprising big and delicious). The staff is great. Just like the Smith Center. The jewel of Las Vegas The place is beautiful

Yelp
Great, intimate venue! This was our first visit to Myron's. We've always heard about it and knew where it was. But finally we made it to a show here! We had the first row of the high top tables in the middle back and could see everything. I loved that we were elevated above the level of the table seating in front of us. If you don't want to spend for the regular table heights that make up the first 2/3 of the audience go for a first row high top. Our server greeted us right away and was so lovely the entire time. I wish I could remember her name. She said to come at least 30 mins before showtime in order to get the best service. Once the show starts they do their best, but she said if you come early you'll get your drinks and any food you ordered and you can relax and enjoy. I ordered another drink during the performance with no issues at all. The acoustics are great and the audience was there to enjoy the show. I would much rather go to a music concert here than at big venues. Sure, the acts are way different, but I'm so tired of having to listen to people having a full on loud conversations instead of listening to the performer we paid lots of money to see and HEAR. I am a Myron's fan now and look forward to my next event at their venue.

Yelp
We love this place! It is located next to the Smith Center near downtown Vegas. The parking isn't bad, and since there are a few ways to drive there, the traffic hasn't been terrible at all. It is not a large venue, much smaller than the Smith Center. But it has great ambiance and acoustics. There are normal four-top tables up front and high-top tables around the edges and in the back. There is a balcony that wraps around the venue that is not overly high. The talent that performs at Myron's is top-notch. We have seen Earl Turner, Clint Holmes, Frankie Moreno, Lena Prima, the Lon Bronson Band, Matt Dusk, and many others. The compact size of Myron's makes it a wonderful venue to see live performers. They also serve some unique snacks such as fruit and Fromage and cashews with dried fruit. The prices for the shows, drinks, and food are very reasonable considering this is Las Vegas. A visit to Myron's is always enjoyable!

Yelp
Such a nice venue! Located in the Smith Center, Myrons is 240 seat, cabaret style venue. We have been to a number of shows there and it's always very intimate. Last night we got to see Herp Albert and his wife Lani Hall and it was wonderful. The sound is good and there really isn't a bad seat in the house. You can order small bites and drinks at the table using the QR code or they have wait staff that come to your table. You can plan months ahead by looking at their calendar on the Smith Center website. If you see something, don't wait to get your tickets!! 240 seats go pretty quick.

Yelp
WOW just WOW. We also did the Glenn Miller experience and it was FANTASTIC! Not only was the band GREAT but the service and the environment was superb. ALL the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. It was a wonderful night all around. Have been to the concert hall canter many times but this was my first to Myron's. Wont be the last! BRAVO!!!!!!!

Yelp
I was in Vegas to spend time with the in-laws for Thanksgiving weekend. Having lived there way back in the day, I knew to stay clear (not from the in-laws) from the Las Vegas Strip on a holiday weekend. I surprised the fam with tickets to a 3pm performance of (Hawaii's own), The Makaha Sons. This was my third visit to the Smith Center but my very first experience at Myron's (Reynolds Hall & Troesh Theater were the others). Let me just start by saying, "WOW!". This venue did not disappoint at all! We were greeted with beautiful smiles from the moment we walked through the huge glass doors! Helpful instructions from the friendly staff made it easy to find where we needed to go. Once we arrived at the second floor, we were greeted with yet another beautiful smile and escorted to our table (at the very front too!). From the moment I walked in, I was wow'd by this intimate and cozy-feel venue! If I had to "guesstimate", it must seat approximately 300 maximum, maybe? Once seated, we were greeted right away by our awesome server, Namon, who took our drink orders right away. He was so kind enough to take our picture when we asked him (thank you again, Namon!). A classic Old Fashion for my BIL, a Justin Cab for my hubby, Big Island lemonades (x2) for the wives, and an order of the Warm Brown Butter Chococlate Toffee cookies (must try!!!!). I can't complete this review without mentioning how superb the acoustics and lighting were as well! All in all, the entire awesome experience at Myron's was the perfect prelude to the performance of The Makaha Sons.

Yelp
This is such a great venue. We've been twice. Once for a Christmas show and another to see Petty Cash. Ordering food and drinks couldn't be simpler. The prices are reasonable and the food comes right to your seat so there's no interruption. The sound is really great. I wish more artists would book here. Every seat is great but I liked the balcony close to the stage. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
First time coming back to the smith center since the pandemic started and I was extremely excited. To enter the venue, it is required that you must show your ID and your vaccination card. (Please look for updates for covid restrictions on the smith center website) Upon entering, I was instantly in awe. As I entered the venue, my emotions took me to a different time of Art Deco era. We saw Oleta Adams in this venue and it was my first time seeing her. If you like jazz and soul I highly recommend see music artist live in this venue. Our table was a small bistro table on the second floor in the middle balcony which our table number a think was 213. You will see the whole stage and you will not have a obstructed view, or you will not hurt your neck, you will have perfect view of everything. DUring the Concert you can scan the que code on the table and order light bights and drinks on your phone and the servers will automatically serve it to you table without have to talk or yell while the concert is going. Definitely looking forward to more Live Concerts in the future in the Mryon Jazz venue at the Smith Center.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful venue, feels intimate and great view of the performance's. My husband and i came to see Matt Dusk for a valentine's day date and we had an amazing time, the show was excellent and we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the cabaret. During the shows they offer small bites and drinks to the guests, the serving is a bit slow but its understandable with so many guests per waitress. The venue is located inside the smith center and its just a wonderful area with beautiful buildings and a park.
google avatar

Christine G.

Yelp
Outstanding venue for intimate performances. It's so well laid out. Parking, valet and little shuttle cars to take you back and forth from garages and outdoor parking. There is not a bad seat in the house. It seems bigger than it actually is. Every employee was super friendly and helpful. They all wear masks still. Clint Holmes a Las Vegas entertainer is more than fabulous! His show is dedicated to the late great man Peter Allen. Clint's voice is beautiful. Always an enjoyable performance. Myron's is amazing! Thank you for giving us such great shows in Las Vegas! Highly recommend
google avatar

Yelp
What a great venue! We were in Las Vegas recently to hear Naomi Mauro present a jazz take on the music of Joni Mitchell. The music was stellar, and as a first time visitor I was impressed to see the quality of artists that are presented here. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house, and the tech crew did a great job with both sound and lighting. The servers were great, food offerings are somewhat limited, but delicious. Great drinks as well. We will absolutely return next time we are in town and the music calendar lines up. One last thing... There are some nice restaurants within walking distance if you wanna grab a bite before the show.

Kerry H.

Yelp
Excellent place to take in a variety of shows in a smaller venue adding an intimate vibe. Not a bad seat in the place and the service is fantastic. Everybody from the ushers to the servers that bring your order to your table. I did not partake in food but it looked good. I ordered a water and a coke using a qr code and within 5 minutes the order was at my table. If you get the chance check it out. We seen Michael Grimm and it was great!

Yelp
For my first time visiting the Smith Center for any event, Myron's Cabaret Jazz hall was a terrific start to multiple trips back to this venue. Frankie Moreno was the performer this evening. Loved the venue, intimate with small tables and an overlooking mezzanine with pub style tables. A great bar menu with reasonable prices and small plates. Enjoyed some drinks with the easy to navigate ordering app with the use of the QR code on the table. Great acoustics, service and overall performance from Frankie Moreno. Definitely worth checking out.

Janet S.

Yelp
Wonderful way to spend the evening in this intimate setting. Food and drinks were tasty. Service was very good.

Maggie F.

Yelp
Heard BRUBECK BROTHERS w/friends. It was our first time here. Everything was wonderful. Will return for other shows.
google avatar

Kathy G.

Yelp
Saw Spyro Gyra at this venue. We sat mezzanine level. The tables are very small for food service but we made it work. The servers were especially nice and helpful! The sound was excellent acoustically, maybe a little loud as I got a warning on my apple watch. The food offerings are plentiful- the pizza was pretty good. It was nice to be able to eat and listen to the concert at the same time. Spyro Gyra was AWESOME!
google avatar

Sharon H.

Yelp
I love this venue so much. Not a bad seat in the house. It's intimate, so you really get to see and feel the performance. I've never seen a bad show there. My favorite is the Femmes of Rock.

Yelp
Myron's is a beautiful venue! This was our first time to go to the Smith Center. We went this past Sunday to see and listen to the dynamic and captivating Blue Note Quintet's sold-out matinee performance. You can a QR code, choose any food or drinks from the menu on your cell phone, pay with Apple. pay or a card, your orders are brought to your table, and when the show ends, the server closes out your order and you can add tip at that time. We enjoyed hanging out with friends and one of the talented performers before they had to clear the place for the next show that evening. The whole time we were there, we kept admiring the beautiful art deco inspired design of Myron's. All the ushers and staff were very nice and helpful, too. Parking at the Promenade structure across the street was convenient ($6 if you prepay online, show and scan the QR code when you enter and when you leave) but something was wrong with the scanners at both exits on our way out but after all the humbug, a security staff "fixed" them, we were on our way and all was well. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

Anthony C.

Yelp
If they have someone that you want to see, Myron's is an amazing venue. The acoustics are great and virtually every seat wonderful. I have always had great service, and everyone who works have always been very pleasant. The issue is that the venue misses out on a tremendous amount of diverse talent. While it occasionally books some blues (Matt Schofeild was great), some folk, and some rock (Booker T), it is really heavy into booking Vegas Acts, Broadway and the American Songbook. While that is fine, look at who is passing through Phoenix, this fall at smaller venues, that are not stopping here: John Hiatt, Maria Mauldar, T Bone Burnett, Eric Gales, Don Was, Tab Benoit, Rosanne Cash, Tom Paxton and others.

Yelp
This was known as the Cabaret Jazz Theatre until a few years ago when it was renamed for Myron Martin, the Smith Center's President and CEO. The theatre is an intimate one with seating for 240 patrons. It is on two levels--the main floor with most of the seating, and a U shaped balcony level with tables along the railing. All of the seating is at round tables. The main floor has low tables in the center section and there are high top tables on the sides and back of the main floor. There is a menu of bento boxes, desserts, and drinks that can be enjoyed prior to a show or during. Prices are a bit steep but I guess we're spoiled by drinks in casinos. There are a variety of offerings. I have seen 36 shows and they have been a variety but usually not jazz as I'm not a fan. Last night I saw Sutton Foster and it was a terrific show. I am a fan of Myron's Cabaret Jazz Theatre.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous venue. The first and second floor lobbies are very similarly designed to that of the Smith Center although are very stark as there are no bars or grand staircases. It is beautifully appointed however. The cabaret itself is in almost complete contrast with the lobbies although has similar accents which makes it very cohesive. Comfortable wooden chairs and sturdy tables adorn the space and those, along with the vaulted ceiling and colored lights, scream elegance. We had very good seats, third row back, but honestly there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. It is large but also very intimate. We ordered two drinks, the Lead Actor, and the French Kiss. Both were very good although at $12 a pop, you might as well drink ahead of time. A fantastic show was put on by Jim Brickman and the acoustics in this hall were perfect. Everything rang true and sounded fantastic.

Adlaidie W.

Yelp
The ambiance presents comfortable elegance. The food and drinks are enticing and priced to ensure you will return. The service is professional and warm. We were privileged to enjoy Chadwick Johnson's "70'" song tour. The evening was one of the most memorable I've spent in a while.

Yelp
You don't come to Myron's Cabaret Jazz for the food. I have been here many times over the years. Only ate here once. Then knew to eat before coming for the music. Two reasons. First, the food is just OK. Second, who wants to be busy eating when you are listening to great music. They do have a wine, beer and cocktail menu. Easy to sip an adult beverage while listening. This has to be one of the best venues in town to listen to music. It is intimate (only about 240 seats on two levels). The downstairs seating has regular tables in the center and high tops on the sides and rear. I prefer the high top seating - guaranteed an unobstructed view. And the acoustics are excellent no matter where you sit.

Yelp
I had a marvelous evening with Judith Hill at Myron's recently. She is a fabulous musical artist. Myron's is quite a wonderful venue. Not a bad seat in the house.
google avatar

Scott D.

Yelp
Great little theatre, was here for the blues show on 10/1. The staff ruined the experience with the sound engineer and a waiter getting into a physical altercation near the end of the show. Sad as the show was great, staff and security not so much.
google avatar

Bre D.

Yelp
We have seen several performers here at Myron's. The venue is excellent, ordering drinks and food is easy on your phone and the setting is extremely intimate - you can't miss a minute of the show. This is a hidden gem in Vegas that shouldn't be missed.

Yelp
Went last night to Boy name Skip. Awesome time. He was awesome. No bad seats. Good food. Drinks off the chain! Had never been before but will go again and again! The staff (Rita) was awesome. We so enjoyed ourselves!

Yelp
I went here for the first time to see the Broadway Princess Party and it was such a fun time!!!! There is no bad seat and you can see the stage clearly and hear the singers clearly. It is small and it was a bit distracting when the waiters would come through and bring people there food but besides that it was fun and I wanna see more shows in this venue! The show I saw was so great! I love The Smith Center so much!
google avatar

Michelle K.

Yelp
The venue is fit to play jazz. Not so small, not so big, and elegant atmosphere. I always choose the cheapest seat, but I always felt a good vibe tremendously. I didn't taste the food menu, but I believe it was delicious cause the smell was so delicious.

Yelp
Small, comfortable, intimate venue. Incredible sound even if your sitting up close near the speakers. Not a bad seat in the house although up front is where we usually want to be. NOTE: While they do serve a light menu, I would avoid it. One, it's not that good, and two, personally ,not cool to be eating when when someone is on stage preforming. Instead enjoy a cocktail and relax. Just enjoyed our 12th performance. Try it. Ciao

Yelp
I went to see Jan Monheit last night at Myron's Cafe. I had no expectations because I've never seen her before, but I love female jazz vocalists. I paid good money to see her, and quite frankly, I was disappointed. She sang obscure, obsolete songs that I couldn't identify with or even understand! Way too much scatting with almost every song, and talked way too much! On the positive side, she is attractive and has a gorgeous voice! She needs to talk less, sing more, and choose better songs! (For exmaple, "As Time Goes By" "Lets fall in Love" " So in Love" "Love for Sale" "Begin the Beguine" "I Love Paris" "Someone to Watch Over Me." Is is very self confident and takes great liberties with the audience. I wonder if this over confidence and unprofessional behavior does her justice? If wonder if Peggy Lee or Lena Horne or Nina Simone would have done this?? In conclusion, she has the right goods! She jus t doesn't know how to sell it. The ambience of Myron's cafe is charming, intimate etc. but still calls for decorum and no phantom lady in the balcony who never appears to sing a duet with Ms. Monheit. Thanks for reading my comments.
