Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar

Came for the brunch and it did not disappoint. It's $36 a person for a charcuterie board, main meal and dessert tower. Some of us upgraded to the $20 bottomless mimosas. They even gave us complimentary shots since we were there for my Bach trip. Amazing views. Such a cute garden with a DJ playing. Would definitely go again.

The food was delectable. We had braised beef, which was very tender. The butternut squash sauce was the best part of that dish. We also had the shrimp and grits with mushroom gravy, the grits were amazing. Service was pretty good and sitting outside next to the water made the atmosphere even better. The bottomless mimosas were just ok, but truly bottomless.

We booked brunch well in advance, providing our credit card information to secure the reservation. Unfortunately, the rainy weather set the tone for a dismal experience marked by poor service, ineffective management, and blatant disregard for our concerns. Upon arrival, we were seated at the bar due to the drizzle. After a lengthy wait, we discovered our payment was merely a "hold" to ensure our attendance. Our waitress and kitchen staff seemed disinterested and distracted, bickering over who should serve us. We were sternly instructed not to accept plates from the kitchen staff. The promised extraordinary brunch and mimosas vanished, replaced by a lackluster menu and expensive cocktails. Our dishes arrived sporadically, with two coming out significantly later than the others. Requested bread arrived after we finished our meal, despite multiple requests. To add insult, it was slathered in rancid butter, more suited to a low-end diner than a high-end establishment. These and numerous other mishaps made for a woefully inadequate experience. $270 for an egg on ham, a drink, and abysmal service was unacceptable. If they can't handle a little rain, perhaps they shouldn't operate. Hopefully, management at M&R will address these issues for the next time it rains. *Traveler Advice* If it's raining, avoid Myrtle & Rose Rooftop Bar. Research alternative restaurants in Savannah with consistent positive reviews, verify payment and menu policies beforehand, and prioritize establishments with proactive customer service.

Went here for the holiday pop up bar, was expecting more but had an amazing view! Went during sunset and was gorgeous. Had small bites, which were small but really good tasting. Good place to stop for a drink and appetizer.

Cute little rooftop bar here in Downtown Savannah! We came here after dinner for some drinks and it was really cozy. Service was good, view was good, and next time I would like to eat from their menu! The only thing that was eh for us was it cost $80 for 3 drinks, that would be the only thing that would stop me from coming back.

We had the pleasure of experiencing our first Valentine’s brunch at Myrtle & Rose Rooftop, and it was absolutely delightful! The atmosphere was stunning, with a lovely scenic view that made our celebration even more special. Sam took excellent care of us from the start, serving refreshing cocktails alongside a beautifully presented charcuterie chef board. The main course was nothing short of amazing—perfectly cooked shrimp and grits, tender short ribs with creamy mashed potatoes, and flavorful carrots. Every bite was mouthwatering! Sam’s professionalism and warm hospitality stood out. She served with a smile and continuously checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, making our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Myrtle & Rose for a special occasion or a relaxing rooftop brunch. We will definitely be back!

This is hands down my favorite rooftop spot in Savannah! I adore the intimate and cozy atmosphere, where the service is always friendly and full of energy. Occasionally, you’ll even catch a live musician or band, adding to the charm. The view—one of the main reasons to visit a rooftop—is absolutely stunning, and the sharables menu (recently updated, I believe) is incredibly delicious. Oh, I forgot to mention the cocktails! What more could you want? We love coming here for drinks and to satisfy our pre-dinner cravings on a night out. I highly recommend it!
