If there’s one thing you do in Halifax it better be this tasting menu! Not only was the food incomparable, but the service was above and beyond. My family and I will be talking about this restaurant for years. We shared many laughs and smiles across the five impeccable courses. Many thanks to our waiters, Lance and Sam, who made this experience extraordinary for my family and I.

Mystic Restaurant in Halifax offers a cozy atmosphere with a creative menu that blends local flavors with global inspiration. The seafood is fresh, portions are generous, and the service is warm and attentive. A great spot for a casual night out or a special dinner.

The decor is very nice. We had the discovery menu and it was fantastic, everything was so fresh and the flavours were amazing. We sat along the bar next to the cooking station. Luckily the restaurants didn’t have any strong smells thanks to its strong fans. Usually when the prices are expensive I have higher standards for the food but the food was excellent. I thought I would leave hungry but I was surprisingly satiated. The final dessert course was very sweet but very cute. I’m excited to come here again. My main server could have had more attention to detail but I felt like she was new to serving so I’lil give it a pass. Loved the experience.

The food and atmosphere at Mystic are exceptional. Every dish was beautifully crafted and full of flavor. We genuinely hope Michelin will one day recognize this gem in Halifax, it truly deserves at least one star.

Such a beautiful experience. Food is amazing, presentation is unreal, the service is unmatched and the building itself is a showstopper. Every detail is well thought out and it shows. Lance took care of our service and he was a 10/10, super friendly, personable, knowledgeable and professional. Will be returning again.

Mystic is an unbelievable dining experience in Halifax. On the harbor front, this establishment is creating food experiences comparable with some of the top Michelin restaurants I've experienced in larger centers. The dining space is stunning. Modern decor. Bright radiant open kitchen. Dark intimate surrounding dining area. All encompassed by glad windows with a view to the water. The service was mind blowing. Our server was so amazing. She was personable, funny and attentive. We had the tasting menu so she was such a great guide along with many other servers. The sommelier was also incredible - courageous and brilliant alcohol pairings. Finally the food. It was all so creatively constructed. Visually stunning. And each dish offered something so incredible for the palate. This was definitely a major highlight for our trip to the city! 5 x 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

It was a truly spectacular meal. From the moment we stepped foot in the premise, every single detail was thoughtfully arranged to elevate the experience. Service was perfect, the discovery menu along with the wine pairing was amazing. Presentation, décor, ambiance, everything was a hit for us. 1000/10

We went to Mystic for a different experience planning on getting the discovery menu. The setting was above my expectations with the service being phenomenal, it was quiet and calm not very busy at all which aloud us to enjoy the meals even more. As every dish was served they explained what was invloved along with the locations around Nova Scotia they came from. I was offered a wine specialist to talk about some suggestions on what to pair each dish with but I choose to just have 1 specific wine I enjoyed for the night, they also have a wine pairing for the discovery menu. Overall it was good, after a well deserved tip it did cost more then what I had expected going in. 2 people and we paid over $500 for perspective.
