Mystic

The decor is very nice. We had the discovery menu and it was fantastic, everything was so fresh and the flavours were amazing. We sat along the bar next to the cooking station. Luckily the restaurants didn’t have any strong smells thanks to its strong fans. Usually when the prices are expensive I have higher standards for the food but the food was excellent. I thought I would leave hungry but I was surprisingly satiated. The final dessert course was very sweet but very cute. I’m excited to come here again. My main server could have had more attention to detail but I felt like she was new to serving so I’lil give it a pass. Loved the experience.

We did the unwritten bar program with Danielle and it was absolutely fantastic. She explains everything and even gives you tips if you’re an amateur mixologist. The bites that come with the drinks are amazingly good. It’s not cheap (about 100$/pp), but it is so worth it. Kudos to Danielle, she knows how to entertain you!

Mystic is an unbelievable dining experience in Halifax. On the harbor front, this establishment is creating food experiences comparable with some of the top Michelin restaurants I've experienced in larger centers. The dining space is stunning. Modern decor. Bright radiant open kitchen. Dark intimate surrounding dining area. All encompassed by glad windows with a view to the water. The service was mind blowing. Our server was so amazing. She was personable, funny and attentive. We had the tasting menu so she was such a great guide along with many other servers. The sommelier was also incredible - courageous and brilliant alcohol pairings. Finally the food. It was all so creatively constructed. Visually stunning. And each dish offered something so incredible for the palate. This was definitely a major highlight for our trip to the city! 5 x 🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂

Go with someone you can each order biota and fauna to taste each other’s stuff as it’s a multi course. Menu dishes is seasonal so I think it’s best when for example the veggies are at their peak or things are abundant. Fine dining experience. Gluten free bread was incredible. $$$$$

It was a truly spectacular meal. From the moment we stepped foot in the premise, every single detail was thoughtfully arranged to elevate the experience. Service was perfect, the discovery menu along with the wine pairing was amazing. Presentation, décor, ambiance, everything was a hit for us. 1000/10

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and Valentine’s Day at Mystic, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Valentine’s edition courses are absolutely amazing, with every dish thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. We also had the chance to try the secret menu, which was a delightful surprise! Every bite was bursting with flavor, making the meal feel truly special and unique. The service was absolutely fantastic. 💯 The staff was so attentive and thoughtful—they even noticed me taking pictures of the course and brought over a little table lamp to help with the lighting! 😂That small gesture made the experience even more memorable. ❤️❤️ We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend!

We went to Mystic for a different experience planning on getting the discovery menu. The setting was above my expectations with the service being phenomenal, it was quiet and calm not very busy at all which aloud us to enjoy the meals even more. As every dish was served they explained what was invloved along with the locations around Nova Scotia they came from. I was offered a wine specialist to talk about some suggestions on what to pair each dish with but I choose to just have 1 specific wine I enjoyed for the night, they also have a wine pairing for the discovery menu. Overall it was good, after a well deserved tip it did cost more then what I had expected going in. 2 people and we paid over $500 for perspective.

Had the pleasure of a light, flavorful and beautiful meal at the Mystic restaurant in Halifax, Canada. We were walking by, on the waterfront boardwalk, and saw how lovely Mystic looked on the outside. We found that it is even more beautiful on the inside. And everyone is amazing—from their sweet host and our delightful server, Danielle, to their creative Chef, Malcolm Campbell, and their very attentive General Manager, Andrew Flynn. The experience was truly delightful, and we will return on our next trip to Canada to try more delectable items on their menu!
