The Best Restaurants In Mystic, Connecticut 2024 - Mystic - The Infatuation

"This small restaurant started out as a food truck a few years ago, but now it’s a small restaurant with a busy takeout business. The move here is to pick up a few bags of takeout after spending the day pretending to be a pirate on a day sail. Stick to the signature dishes menu, like the wedding chicken roast with a blend of garam masala, saffron milk, and raisins that hits all the right sweet and spicy notes. Some other standouts: the rich lamb chop korma that’s been marinated in 16 different spices for slow-cooked for 12 hours, and the Singapore-style chili shrimp with a sauce that will kick you right in the tongue." - tanya edwards

We had a lovely time at Mystic Royal Restaurant. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating. A clean unisex restroom. There’s outside parking, and there’s pavements so that you can walk in too. I liked the personal touch on the artwork on the walls. The food is delicious here. Beautiful Bangladeshi cuisine. I would definitely recommend the Achari Beef, the railway rice dish which had vegetables, chicken and shrimp. We also had the tandoori shrimp. The mango lassi was amazing. You can tell that each dish was made with care, because the food was mouthwatering. If you want genuine ‘Indian’ food - it is worth every penny. The restaurant owner was very attentive and a great hostess. Come and support this local female owned business. I look forward to trying out the Mystic Royal food trucks too. The manager/chef Sheuli told us, the truck is in Groton soon. Can’t wait for our next visit. All the best.

Amazing experience at Mystic Royal Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and perfectly spiced. I tried the chicken biryani and samosas, and both were incredible. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the service was fast. The restaurant was clean and had a cozy vibe. If you’re in Mystic and craving Indian or Bangladeshi food, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

This Is A Vegetarian Review A magical dinner to cap off our magical stay in Mystic. We had the place to ourselves, so the chef and owner took some time to tell us about their restaurant and her family recipes. By the time the food came, expectations were high. Then we were met with a bouquet of aromas, flavors and textures that were a delight! From the wine to appetizer to entre to tea, everything was served with the promise that if we were dissatisfied it would be replaced. It was an amazing experience! Thank you Mystic Royal

We went for dinner. The appetizers that we ordered were amazing, and the main course... speechless. Test, freshness, and quantity everything was outstanding. Mainly the Beef was finger-licking awesome. Also a good variety on their menu. They have good outdoor seating too.

Coming and eating at mystic Royal was such a great experience. Starting off with customer service, waiters were really nice! They all gave us some time to decide what to get, instead of rushing and taking a while to get things together. So 5 stars for the service. Then we ate. I got veggie samosas, a gourmet Wagyu burger, and a donnor shawarma. Veggie samosas were so goidthe taste was like that they used fresh oil

I got the Tandoori Naan Wrap, a Wagyu Burger, and a Mango Lassi. The tandoori chicken in the tandoori naan wrap was so juicy, and it was flavorful. And I gotta say, the seasoning was top notch! The gourmet Wagyu burger was hands down one of the best burgers I ever had. I wish I could get 2 of them. And lastly, the mango lassi. It was really good because the ratio between the sugar and mango was really well put. Amazing job!!!! You should come here!!!
