This place was amazing. Best orzo I have ever had. Roasted chicken was delicious, but the breast was a little dry. Maria gave us the best service I have had at any restaurant in the northeast in years. Would come back over and over again.

One of the best Greek restaurants in the area. Found this place online, didnt expect too much before walk in. But the food is really good, we all like it! The veg cuisine which i forget the name tastes so good. The lamb in the photo also tastes great, super juicy. Will definitely try it again. Stuff is very helpful, i love her recommendations.

Very delicious, fresh food, welcoming staff and heartwarming ambiance. You can't have a bad night if Maria is over there. She is an excellent and knowledgeable waitress. We met with Buse this weekend and she was very welcoming as well. Fried anchovies, grilled calamari, salad are my favorites.

Very popular local family run restaurant. Make a reservation before going. We had steak and okra. The fried zucchini. Big portion and descent price. Friendly service. The owner walks around and helps bus and serve so you feel like your part of the family.

The sweetest people and authentic Greek food right by our house. Best gigantes around, never burnt pita plus it comes with hummus-yum, gorgeous green salad and other staples. Always make us feel extra welcome even at super busy times!

What a disappointment! After new ownership took over, the restaurant went downhill. Super overpriced, the dishes are smaller and low quality. The service is awful, there's a frantic lady that handles the orders in person and over the phone, she always messes up. She might be the owner and if she isn't, the owner needs to enhance the customer experience. The design is all over the place, again, messy. I miss the old food, staff and service!

My mother has befriended the owners over the years of us seeking out thier wonderful food. This is my go-to spot for Greek and my loyalty does with them. I may be biases, but it's hard not to be when you can taste the love in the food, and you can feel the warmth and friendliness in the greetings from the staff whenever you enter. Well done! I will continue to come back till I no longer can.

This is now our go to Greek restaurant. It is owned and operated by Greek folk, the staff is Greek, and the chef is Greek and it shows. The food is wonderful. The atmosphere is great. The servings are so generous. The dip platter was delicious and hearty. The lemon chicken was tasty with fresh lemon and oregano seasoning and moist. The roasted potatoes were soft and nicely browned. The gyro hit the spot. The tzatziki is nicely garlicky but not overly so. The lettuce and tomato were crisp and fresh. The lamb chop over the orzo was terrific. Not only huge but cooked well and the sauce was a wonderful tomato based sauce. We love this restaurant

This place a was a great random stop for dinner! Food was tasty and the service was great. There are a few options for seating but we chose to sit inside at a larger table. The staff are very friendly and I will be returning.

Came here for lunch with a friend. My friend suggested this place and I am always down for a gyro so I was looking forward to this place. Ended up getting the gyro pita ($13.24 tax included) for takeout. The gyro was fresh and not greasy, very tasty. Solid gyro. Tzatziki sauce was solid as well. If you're in the mood for gyros and in the area, I would recommend this spot. * Parking on premise

This very authentic Greek restaurant delivers friendly service and delicious food. I enjoyed the Chilean sea bass special with a side of spinach seasoned with garlic and lemon. The fish was perfectly grilled, and my server deboned it prior to its arrival to my table. I also enjoyed a bright Greek rose wine. A basket of pita with hummus is offered while waiting for the entrée: This is a neighbor gem that I look forward to frequenting in the future!

Great, casual Greek restaurant tucked into downtown Cliffside Park. Waitress / owner was super warm, and the dip platter, grilled seafood, and shrimp saganaki all exceeded expectations. Wine list was simple and fairly priced. An absolute winner.

One of my favorite local Greek restaurants! Great caviar dip and mixed appetizer platter. Excellent Greek salad -- especially with grilled chicken or calamari. Excellent gyro platter. Recently obtained their liquor license. Always pleasant and attentive service. Popular Greek music and videos always playing for authentic Greek ambiance in the midst of Cliffside Park. Love that warm whole wheat pita is offered as alternative to white. Free delivery or pickup are both also available.

Really good food and I liked the ambiance as well, almost shocking it's in Cliffside park which is why the prices are better I guess. The octopus is one of the best I've had recently, perfectly soft and ever so lightly chewy making the best cooked I've had till date. Greek salad very flavorful as well, well balanced and fresh fresh tomatoes they were. I wasn't a fan of the saganaki shrimp especially with that price but my friend really liked its dish - shrimp butter and cheese, mozzarella maybe and tomato sauce. But all in all enjoyable evening and will come back for the food. Parking is painful since they only have a handful of spots. Just to note and the miss from being perfect is why I have it at 4 stars but I'll update my review if anything changes.

Mythos is an amazing restaurant/cafe situated in a quiet section of Cliffside Park in a small strip mall. In other parts of the country, strip malls are a prime place to find ethnic restaurants with wonderful food, hospitality and fair prices. This is your gem to discover. It is bright and cheerfully decorated in true Meditteranean style. The menu board lists all the extremely fresh grilled fish offered including orata, dorado, branzino and fried anchovies (without bones). The owner noted that the fried anchovies were like french fries. Spot on description. Our party had one one of the dips (taramasolata) with hot pita and the Greek sausage appetizer. Enough for four each. Two of us ordered fish (mine was deboned beautifully) while our third went for the lamb gyro (the lamb was seasoned to a T). The Greek fries and rice pilaf were fresh and delish. We were full (and have the doggy bags to prove it) but we needed to sample a dessert along with Greek coffee. The baklava was served warm with crisp phyllo and golden honey and walnuts. It's easy to converse with the soft Greek music playing. Even with two glasses of wine, the cost of our supper was half of what it would be in Fort Lee. We will be returning

Insanely generous portions and thankfully the food arrived piping hot. The souvlaki was well made, tender and all around tasty. No complaints about the accompanying items and the fresh tasting tsatsiki sauce. All around the the experience was solid and it was a far above average delivery order. This definitely makes me want to visit the actual place for a sit down meal but generally speaking you can tell even from the delivery that this place cares about its food and its service with customers.

One of my go tos for lunch. I always order the greek salad with grilled chicken breast. the warm Pitas are banging!! I make my own little wraps add everything into the pita and go to town! The guy at the register is really cool! The waitresses are always nice and the ambiance is very nice.

Ordered the lamb souvlaki platter. Lamb was poorly seasoned/quite bland and also very dry/chewy. It didn't really taste like there was much if any salt or seasoning and kind of tasted gamey compared to other lamb I've had in the past. The fries that the platter came with were decent but did have a bit of a rancid oil after taste. Seasoning on-top was good and they were crispy. Portion size was good/generous. Yogurt sauce was good. All in all for $22 I was hoping the lamb would have been better and it's a bit overly priced for what you're getting. Not sure if it was because it was later in the evening when I ordered but that shouldn't deter from taste. Overall 2 stars since main entree (lamb) was lacking any flavor or salt and was dry, plus fries tasted like they were fried in old oil.

Ordered via Uber eats and exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing, especially the freshness of all the ingredients. Price and portion size was perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious! Sometimes the seasoning is not consistent, but we have had overall pleasant and yummy experiences here. The dips in particular are always a treat, and the gyro has yet to disappoint. Definitely worth a try!

I've ordered from Mythos a few times. Though the delivery was about an hour, the food was worth the wait. Shrimp Mykonos was absolutely delicious. Roast chicken with potatoes and a side of dandelion greens with lemon, served with warm pita. I can't wait to order again.

We decided to take a ride to give Mythos a try and boy am I glad we did. We sat outside on a beautiful night under the trellis that was decorated beautifully. Not ever having Greek food before we were excited to try it. We got a little help from Steve and the staff on what to order. We had the grilled octopus that was unreal. Tender and flavorful with grilled veggies around it. We also had shrimp with melted cheese in a light tomato sauce that was delicious and actually tasted like lobster. For dinner sandra had the Greek lasagna with salad. Fantastic flavor. I had the seafood orzo that was packed with calamari shrimp and octopus. All cooked to perfection and tender as can be. Susie had the Greek Meatballs that she loved. Everything we had was fantastic. The service was friendly and prompt they actually made you feel like you were family. The prices are extremely reasonable for quality and quantity of food. The other patrons sitting around us were also very nice and talkative. We actually all talked a bit and kidded around. Overall it was a wonderful happy night dining outside eating great food and being surrounded by nice people. Does it get any better. I think NOT. Get here if you haven't yet. Enjoy

First, let me say this score and review is based solely on a single visit for lunch. I'm not familiar with this area, but I've eaten at the Clifton location of It's Greek To Me, so felt I knew what to expect, and I wasn't disappointed. I went with the $11.95 Gyro sandwich lunch special, which came with Greek Fries. The gyro was perfectly serviceable; although I found the meat to be overly salty for my taste. The tzatziki sauce was very good. It tasted homemade; with lots of cucumber and dill. The "Greek Fries" were forgettable. I don't know why they're called "Greek" fries. Maybe they shake some oregano over them. They were batter coated fast food fries; which I'm not a fan of. The service was both friendly and attentive. If I'm back in the area I wouldn't hesitate to return for another try.

This place is fantastic! What a hidden gem. Great attentive service and delicious food. Wonderful hummus for the table with expertly grilled pita. The fried zuchini was wonderfully crisp and the tzatziki was excellent. We had the gyro sandwich and chicken shawarma platter and both were great. And there was so much of each that we took some of both home. That's the only "down side" - too much food! I would like to see them decrease the amount of food they give a bit. It would still be more than enough and would improve their margins. I want to see this place stay in business. Eat here. you will not be disappointed.

Loved it!! Definitely a fan of Greek cuisine. A last minute trip here tonight turned out to be a very pleasant experience.. started with a small but very delish complimentary hummus, while we waited for our order.. everything we ordered was great.. please note the photos taken were after we started eating definitely return here.. OH AND BYOB !!

This was my first time having Greek food, I was a bit skeptical at first and wow was I amazed it was entirely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh. It was my first time having a gyro and it was completely out of this world. Calamari was outstanding. I have to say one of the best I've ever had. Don't get me started on the fries they were just as delicious. The rest of my table even said that it was the best Greek food they have ever had! The decor inside was so creative had that Mykonos touch to it! I will definitely be back!!!

What a great place, our server was super friendly and the food was delicious. My girlfriend and I came here for dinner on Saturday night, the restaurant was relatively empty which is unusual but due to the snowfall from earlier people were probably staying in. The restaurant itself is clean and the decor is pleasing to the eyes. We got seated right away and our server uncorked the bottle of white we brought with us (BYOB). We shared some appetizers, a small Greek salad, baba ganoush and hummus. The small salad is definitely more than enough for two people along with the baba ganoush and hummus (which we took home with us). For the main course my dining partner had the grilled octopus which had a nice crispy/charred outside but the meat itself was soft and tender, yum! I devoured a titan of a gyro which was awesome. Overall I was pleased with our visit and looking forward to coming back again!

Gyro sandwich all the way. Warm soft chewy pita bread stuffed with perfectly seasoned non- greasy gyro, tomato, onion and taziziki sauce. So filling and delicious. A little pricier than most gyro sandwiches but worth it !

Just moved to West NY from NYC and was in the mood for yummy Greek food. So happy I found this place and they deliver! The portions are plentiful, food came hot and well packaged and best of all, everything tastes delicious and authentic! I'm Greek so I can tell the difference :) New found gem.

Ordered food to be delivered and everything tasted so good. Portions were very generous for the gyro and the spinach pie was very tasty. I also ordered the chicken soup which was piping hot and packaged really carefully to avoid spillage. Would definitely order from here again and would love to go and sit down.

Food definitely is freshly prepared and delicious! Wish it came with more seasonings as it seemed a bit bland, especially the grilled chicken souvlaki. Spanakopita tasted excellent, lightly covered in phyllo dough. Next visit we will try additional dishes, no doubt!

Love this place! It's authentic cuisine from Greece and the Mediterranean. The staff is usually very polite and friendly. My wife and I frequent them at least once every 2 weeks when we eat out.

Expectations drive my reviews, and this place confidently exceeded my impressions. First the menus is very diverse including the favorites you'd expect and other delicacies. We ordered too much and brought a little of everything home cause it was good. The Makalo was simple and tender. It's a much larger portion than suggested. The Greek salad was so fresh and generous it's a meal unto its own. The feta is the best there is. I'm not an octopus fan, but this was cooked perfectly and not rubbery and with the right amount of char. I would definitely get the Branzino. The grilled veg it comes with was too big and I'd sub it or just pack it. The grilled shrimp skewer was also simple but perfectly cooked. Come to think of it; the simplicity is the beauty of the dishes. We really liked the sautéed spinach. I'd get the lemon garlic again instead of the feta, but be warned it's very lemony. Not too much but not slightly either. Very fresh and innovative. Also, they may or may not have cooking wine that spills into a glass they'd share, but I'm not certain of that. ;) lastly, I wish every place greeted you so warmly. That makes a difference. Thanks.

The food here is so delicious! I came here after a facial at skincare guru and there was quick service. My server Jessica was wonderful!!! This place seemed very well loved! I suggest everyone should come here to either eat in or take out !

I do not know what happened, all I can say the franchisee does not care any more. I hate to be mean but hard earned money cannot be spent to buy inedible food. I orderd today for takeout a gyro sandwich, and a greek salad with steak, $(18.00)and 4 pork souvlaki sticks. I pick up pay $37, and drive home 5 min. First, the greek salad greens are wilted and are swimming in oil and vinegar, so much they can not be eaten. THE STEAK IS MISSING. Second, the gyro meat is frozen salty garbage. It cannot be eaten. Third, the 4 souvlaki sticks are rock hard meat full of grizzle that cannot be eaten. And finally, no plastic fork, no knife, no silverware. The stupid twit of a girl at the register was obnoxious, like she could not be bothered. Guess what, I cannot be bothered either. NEVER AGAIN, GOOD RIDDENS..

Delicious Greek food! Grilled seafood, Horta, hummus was sooo good!! Super nice staff as well. Had a great time! :)) The only issue might be parking during peak hours but they do have delivery and pickup available.
