Where to find the best Korean restaurants in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Shanghai Plaza’s Myungrang Hot Dog serves a Korean spin on a corn-dog-on-a-stick such as the $1.99 original, the $2.99 sausage and mozzarella dubbed the best, a rice cake version, and a $2.99 upgrade made with beef sausage. Two unusual options include a squid ink batter rendition and a dog wrapped in potato cubes. Five different sauces and three seasonings are provided with a quick guide to condiment combinations posted to help customers prepare the No. 2 combo of sweet chili, mustard cheese, ketchup, and Parmesan sauces." - Krista Diamond

The food court was way too noisy despite being crowded. Hot dog was filling and the cheese was sticky and i had to keep using a napkin to pull it out of my teeth. Nonetheless it was a tasty snack after my tattoo appointment. There are free sauces to add at the counter and the staff on duty was pleasant in general. If I was a bit more hungry I would have gone for the rice bowls which looked delicious. You can see the food being prepared from the counter which is always a good thing.

The dog I had was amazing, very delicious. I ordered the mozzarella cheese and sausage dog. I will be back during my next trip to Vegas, whenever that will be, and if you guys ever come to the East Coast, I will be sure to give you guys my business. It doesn't look like there was oozing cheese, but that's because I ate most of the cheese before the photo.

Google
Highly disappointed for a first timer. Either they didn’t make it right or their photos are misleading, there was no oozing mozzarella cheese in here and you can tell there wasn’t. But the rude cashier gave attitude and tried to embarrass me in front of other customers. Will try somewhere else. I Do not recommend the potato mozzarella and hotdog.

I love Korean style corn dogs, I was searching and saw this place so yesterday, so I stopped in today. They are inside the mall food court for those who may have trouble finding them. Service was wonderful, the employees are very nice. Food was good. If I could do it over, I would just get two mozzarella potato dogs. What I ordered was chili fries, which were filling, but tasted no different than state fair or 7 eleven food. I also ordered half mozzarella half beef potato dog. The beef dog kinda ruined it. Just stick to mozzarella only at this location. At least for the regular dog. I don't know about the jumbo or spicy. I topped it with cheddar cheese, and cheddar parmesean I think. Which was good.

This was delicious. The various textures were amazing on my pallet. The crispy potato with a soft center cut into unique pleasing sensations. That combined with the various toppings including sauces that elevated the bite. My personal choice was sweet Chilli and Cheddar. I like creamy and sweet n spicy. I loved every single bite! I wish I could teleport to get another one. Run don't walk

Google
Good food. Semi clean location. The staff was friendly. The Cheeto fries were underwhelming and not worth it but the hot dogs were good and reasonably priced. But the food court itself and the mall too is full of random homeless. So maybe get your food to go

Google
Got the garlic parmesan fries, which smelled and looked great. But the taste of the fries fell a bit short. A bit like the fries had been refried and not as fresh, and the flavor of the garlic was pretty strong compared to the parmesan.

Google
I'm so sad they closed down this location😭 Everything was soo good especially the potato corn dog and their rice bowls. Hopefully they open another location or food truck somewhere else in vegas.

Yelp
It was alright nothing special . No stand out flavors or anything. The service was fast and friendly but not worth going back too, might as well stick to hot dog on a stick

Yelp
This was my first time trying a Korean style corndog and it did not disappoint. The staff were very nice and recommended that I try the 1/2 cheese, 1/2 hot dog with potato. It took some time for it come out since they made it fresh but it was worth the wait. I was offered sugar or Parmesan cheese and noticed a variety of sauces to try it with. However, since this was my first one, I wanted to try it by itself It was delicious! I loved the crispy potatoes, the stringy cheese and savory hot dog. If you are at the mall and looking for a unique snack, I recommend checking this place out.

Yelp
Ok I'm guilty! I broke away from my healthy eating habits today!! I saw this place here in the fashion Mall food court. Whoever the owner is, came up with a fantastic idea for hot dogs. Different ways to eat hot dogs. Several different selections of combos. I had a combo to which was the hot dog deep fried with potatoes over it. Pretty satisfying!! This place was actually fun to eat I'll be coming back again when I'm not eating healthy :)

Yelp
First time having a Korean Hot Dog. It was delicious. It's just a hot dog with some extra coating. It's in a food court, it's loud. I'd do it again, and will definitely search it out when I go to Korea.

Yelp
Taking too long for a hotdog and the fries. Would be happy if the food is good but fries are in a smaller side with barely garlic and Parmesan. The hotdog batter is not impressive and the sausage is small too. No free water. Went to other place to get better fries and cup of water.

Yelp
One of my simple guilty pleasures is hot dogs! I have no idea why. But put a hot dog together with potatoes!? And they are amazing! I really love the mix of what Myungrang Hotdog brings to Chinatown in Las Vegas because it is affordable and enjoyable. Although the line can go out the door sometimes, you definitely get what you are waiting for and paying for! I like potato hot dogs to add flavor and softness but I also enjoy how the different add-ons such as ketchup, sugar, and other mixed sauces added on make the overall taste so yummy! I definitely think that anyone should get some Korean hot dogs in town or anywhere in the world if ever they are traveling. It is definitely so yummy and such a great time.

Yelp
Good bite when you are at the mall. We split the sweet potato cheese and a original mozzarella. Both were tasty. Good crunch and decent cheese pull. Nice service.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here, considering the fact that it's located in the food court and not some brick and mortar restaurant. The french fries were extremely crisp and had a nice texture while eating them. The hot dog itself tasted the same as all the other joints in town and was nothing super special; however, considering again this was located in the food court, this may make Myungrang Hotdog the best place if you're trying to eat cheap at the Fashion Show. Perfectly adequate for what it is. Don't forget to ask for the sauces and sugar on your hotdog. It comes at no extra cost, yet I saw a lot of people leaving with no dressings on theirs. Shame!

Yelp
Everything is cooked to order and the food was so tasty and the service was incredible!
