The 9 Best Cookies In London

"Cookie of choice: chocolate and banana Size isn’t everything, but sometimes it helps. Even the Cookie Monster would approve of N5 Kitchen’s palm-width, half-inch-thick sweet treats. Flavours change daily at the Finsbury Park cafe. Count on whatever it is to have great chew and not be overly sweet, though. If it’s on, get the banana and chocolate." - rianne shlebak, sinead cranna, heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, daisy meager

N5 Kitchen - Review - Finsbury Park - London - The Infatuation

"If you’re in the Finsbury Park area, this weekday-only cafe is worth seeking out for a chat with the lovely staff, as well as the excellent baked goods and nourishing lunches like grilled chicken with rice and zingy chimichurri. What’s on changes daily (and sometimes hourly), but check out the handwritten menu in the window, then head inside. It’s primarily set up for takeaway but if you’ve got time to spare, pull up the small bench in the window and eavesdrop on locals. Just don’t leave without a cookie—no matter the flavour, they’re some of the best in London. photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat photo credit: Koray Firat Pause Unmute Food Rundown Cookies Size isn’t everything, but sometimes it helps. I travel around London for work a lot and if I’m ever even remotely in the vicinity of N5 Kitchen I always make a detour. They do the best takeaway lunches, always delicious, fresh and healthy. The guys that run it are amazing and you sometimes even get a little cookie included with your coffee. Absolutely love this place - would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic catering for a work team lunch! The team loved it – everyone was raving about the portion sizes and the very generous amount of steak. The food was delicious and fresh. We’re already trying to convince our HR team to book them again for our next team lunch. Highly recommended!

Beautiful food, decor and vibes! Every time I’m here I always think it’s the friendliest service I’ve had in London! A mini cookie with a coffee is also such a nice touch, can’t wait to come back

Very cute. A few things worth knowing before you choose N5. Its more like a bakery, than a restaurant or cafe. They do a couple of meals a day, and I believe they mentioned the meals change daily. The staff are engaging, and will explain all of this. The meals are made to go, as there's not a whole lot of seating area, so it stands as maybe a better place for takeaway, instead of eating in. Having said this, we ate in and despite the tight space, it was lovely. On a sunny winter day, maybe even perfect. Nice ‘n warm. The food was fresh and delicious. The energy was also pumping with people coming and going, and at least four people working in the kitchen, making cookies and such. They also gave us free doughnuts! What a bonus. FYI, they were the best doughnuts I've had in some time. Really pleasant. Definitely coming back!

First time coming to N5 Kitchen so here is my first impression: at 7:30am on the dot, we were happily welcomed in by the chicks in the store. Clearly morning people, the baristas came across as incredibly friendly and brought an epic buzz to start the day. They offered for us to join their loyalty program, and they keep the cards on deck so you don’t have to carry around a piece of paper in your wallet!! The coffee itself is up there with some of the better coffee I’ve had in London. Will definitely be back here again post-run club

I’d been meaning to swing by here for ages after a friend kept posting about it on Instagram. I had imagined a little sit in cafe but while there’s a few seats by the window, it’s more of a place where you pick something up. Although I was tempted to sit at the window with my drink and watch the world go past. N5 Kitchen offers catering mainly and recently opened up to provide food for the public. The flavours are quirky and change regularly - from lunch specials to amazing cakes and what looked like a profiterole snowman (turns out it was a religieuse). I came away with a hot cocoa (how comforting does that sound?) a nduja sausage roll and a brown butter cookie. I haven’t tried the latter yet as the sausage roll is for my dinner and I’m sharing the cookie with my boys after school, but I shall update! The hot cocoa comes topped with whipped cream and marshmallows and is accompanied by one of the best cookies I’ve ever had. It had an amazing crunch but was also a bit chewy. The cocoa wasn’t sweetened which I liked, but it was sweet enough thanks to the toppings. Everyone working there was also very friendly and welcoming.

Our favourite neighbourhood coffee and lunch spot with a delicious baked goods section. The staff are always so friendly, if you haven’t been here it’s a must!
