The service was exceptional. We enjoyed the horseshoe shaped Booth with a very wonderful atmosphere. We had the filet and the salmon and the food was delicious. We each had a cocktail and came during their social hour where many items were half price on the menu. You can't beat the deal.

On the positive side, the food was good and our waiter was very good. However, the food and wine was way overpriced. I noticed a few bottles that I am familiar with that were twice as much as other restaurants. While the food was good, it was a $35 steak, not a $55 steak. One other thing to mention is the ambiance. I marveled at the decorations and fixtures as they are going after an upscale cafeteria. -Strange. The floor, walls, and ceilings are obviously meant to reflect sound and not absorb it. It was a loud scene even though it was not full. I would only go back again if I was staying at the Palms, did not want to go far, I did not want to talk to or hear the people I was with, and the meal was comped.

Cool place. Like the atmosphere the minute I walked in. Yes, shadowed lighting at the bar is a bit worn out but it still makes for a nice bar experience. Be prepared as it's loud. The type of clientele want to have fun. It isn't romantic unless you're from the Jersey Shore and you like to scream at your date but it's lively. Now to the food. Steak. Seafood. High end steak and seafood. Nothing really unique on the preparation but hey, you get high quality good tasting steak and seafood. We mostly ordered seafood to start and then steaks, Both were just excellent. Nice fill bar to compliment for wine, beer, and cocktails. Nice, fun, good place with exceptional service to round out the experience.

My family and I love N9NE Steakhouse! The service is amazing and so is the food. We went a few years ago for a birthday and anniversary dinner and Kimberly did a wonderful job serving us. She was super polite and fun. When we went this past weekend for another birthday celebration she was our server again and just as nice and friendly. We had a suprise for one of my family members and the manager and wait staff were in on it and you could tell they were just as excited as we were for the surprise. I strongly recommend this restaurant. Food and drinks are great!! Music is very fun too!

Google
The atmosphere and service were excellent, our waiter knew the dishes well, and was able to help us make good choices. The food is very pricey, and I think you're paying more for the excellent service and atmosphere rather than the quality of food (it's really good food, I'm just not sure it's worth the price). Portions on some items could be bigger, such as the prime rib ravioli (which is excellent!)

Google
A terrible restaurant. I look at the pictures of the food people have posted and wonder if we ate at the same restaurant. Martinis were lukewarm, oyster were barely chilled, and my $68 dry aged steak was over-cooked and fatty, with gristle. I was alone and felt bullied to sit in the bar - three different staffers said, "why don't we sit you in the bar?" I asked for a table in the dining area as multiple tables and a huge section of the banquette was empty, but was told they were reserved and unavailable. Those same tables sat empty through out my entire dinner. The staff was polite ... each of the four waiters who served my table. I saw one waiter twice. (Of course, I actually saw a ton of waiters, since they had seated me on a service corridor.) There're some amazing steakhouses in Las Vegas. Nine is not. Avoid it, it's a rip-off. My food was so bad I had the remainder boxed up and left for manager of Palms Place to see had awful it was and know I'm not exaggerating.

Google
Lovely looking entrance... decent food. I can definitely see why the palms is a dying fad, I've never been treated so poorly in my life. The front desk girl was rude wouldn't even smile when I said thank you... but I said what ever anyway and decided to dine anyway but it didn't stop there our food took 40 to be served to our table. They messed up the food and had to take it back, my husband asked for a well-done burger and received his burger rare. It was basically mooing at us, they send out shrimp (as an apology for us waiting for an additional 25 minutes on top of the 40 we waited for our initial meal)without even asking us, and I husband is highly allergic to shrimp. was a nice gesture, however after messing up on our mill you would think there would be a better line of communication. My tab was $214, and out of courtesy of being a previous waitress I did tip or 15% but was extremely disappointed and spending nearly $300 at a restaurant that I was very dissatisfied in. Needless to say I will never be back, and I don't think they care anyways.

Phenomenal! Best steakhouse in Vegas or all the land. Kimberly was our waitress and made our experience perfect. The whole staff is very dedicated to making their guests happy. The food was top notch! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Dinner was amazing! Atmosphere was just as good. Crab cakes, wedge salad, steaks, potatoes... unbelievable. Daniel, our server was so phenomenal.

Yelp
I had friends from out of town visit Vegas looking for a steakhouse, so I suggested this place without ever having been based on the raving reviews, and it certainly delivered! Located at the far end of the Palms Casino, this steakhouse is sleek and swanky. The menu has both steaks and non-steak items as well as happy hour selections from 5-7 PM. My friends both ordered a filet mignon from South Dakota while I opted for the ribeye cap from Omaha, NE cooked medium rare, and omg it was melt-in-your-mouth DELICIOUS. The truffle fries and creamy mashed potatoes were on point, and my hickory smoked vanilla Old Fashioned was made to perfection. Service was attentive without being obtrusive, and the ambiance is perfect for date night, a girls' night out, or a group outing. 10/10 highly recommend! FREE parking in the SELF PARKING garage.

Yelp
I went here twice within one week, and let me tell you I will be back again. My boyfriend made a reservation for my birthday celebration. We came on a Saturday night at 9 pm, and the service was excellent. The portions don't look that big, but actually are. On our first night, we ordered the $78 steak and they were able to split it for us. We also tried their forest mushroom, onion soup, bone marrow + mini bao, and potato au gratin. They even gave me a surprise birthday cake and lit a candle. It was a picture perfect night. Upon reviewing the menu, we realized that they had a social hour with 30% off menu items. We decided to come the following Thursday, and try out these items. We tried the filet mignon, oysters ($17) - to which our server gave us an additional 3 oysters (just because), the Brie fondue with bread, and the potato purée. All delicious, and wonderfully portioned. The ambiance is perfect for all celebrations and I highly recommend this place.

Yelp
First time here , December 19 , for dinner. What a great night. I've been coming to the Palms for years and never dined here. The atmosphere is classy and a mix of modern and classic old steakhouse. The service is great , Joseph S. was my server and he was really on top of things. I started with the best Old Fashioned I've ever had and followed by a great steak and sides. HIGH WEST OLD FASHIONED $18 HIGH WEST DOUBLE RYE , HIGH WEST PRAIRIE BLEND, DEMERARA, ANGOSTURA BITTERS, ORANGE PEEL 16 oz BONE-IN FILET MIGNON $89 CREEKSTONE FARMS | KANSAS BORDELAISE SAUCE $5 DRY RED WINE , BONE MARROW , BUTTER , SHALLOTS AND SAUCE DEMIGLACE WAGYU FRIED RICE $23 JAPANESE BEEF I TALLOW I FARM EGG GARLIC POTATO PURÉE $12 CRISPY SHALLOT ALSO INCLUDED A FRENCH BREAD AND TRUFFLE CHIPS AS A STARTER Everything was so good. Lots of people talk about the Golden Steer , but this place blows it away. I went there years ago with my son for my birthday and he said " Dad you cook a better steak at home ! " Needless to say we never went back. It was so bland and overpriced. I can't complain about anything I had here except I wish the egg on the Wagyu Fried Rice was more runny to blend with the rice better. So on to the food , the steak was seasoned just enough and with the Bordelaise Sauce to dip it a little it was delicious. The Wagyu Fried Rice tasted a little nutty with the mushrooms in it which I normally don't like mushrooms , but they went perfectly with the dish and the Japanese Beef was sooo good in it ! I wasn't going to get the Garlic Potato Puree , but I read so many good reviews I had to try it and man was it good. I usually want a baked potato with a steak , but this was really good. The French Bread they start you with is round and has 4 pieces and seasoned with butter and they give you some on the side. It was warm and tasty. The Truffle Chips were okay , I'm not a big truffle guy , but they were freshly made and crispy. They did pair well with the Old Fashioned as well as the French Bread. I was too stuffed for a dessert , but the table next to me had a birthday and they brought out the FIREBALL SMORES $19 WARM CHOCOL ATE CAKE | G R AHAM CR ACKER ICE CRE AM TOASTED MARSHMALLOW which was pretty cool to watch and of course the husband was videoed it. All in all I would highly recommend you coming here for a special occasion or to treat yourself to a great meal. They also do a SOCIAL HOUR , Mon - Thurs 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM with a Limited Discount Menu. So if you want to save a couple dollars and give them a try , this is a great way to do so. I will definitely be back and may just pop in some time for another one of those High West Old Fashioneds.

Yelp
One of our favorite steak houses. We like to also experiment and try things we typically wouldn't order. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The salads are great. Most starters are great and the steaks offer great cuts of beef. Some of the dishes have too much Asian influence for me like the steak tartare that didn't work. At one point the shrimp cocktail was served with a Thai chili type of sauce. I like Asian food very much but not at a steak house. I prefer the more classic approaches. But in general the food is very good and we come here often. Service is also very attentive and professional. One request is that they begin serving their shrimp cocktail over ice so we don't have to request it each time.

Yelp
What I loved. Ambiance/Service 5/5 Shrimp Toast : 5/5 was soooo delish Caramel Toffee Cake: 100/5 it was soooo damn good and I'm not a dessert person at all. Sleeping Beauty Cocktail: 5/5 so delish Parmesan chips: 5/5 really nice comes to the table with bread Jumbo shrimp cocktail: 4/5 Ribeye cap 8oz: 4/5 really good flavor What we did not fully enjoy Mac &Cheese w/lobster: 1/5. When you think lobster Mac you think creamy Mac with nice chunks of lobster. I'm sorry but it should be off the menu. The Mac was soooo dry. We looked and searched for the lobster. Literally we all looked. Would not get again. Potato's au gratin: 3/5 this was decent. Caesar salad: 3/5 I always have high hopes for for Caesar salad at a steakhouse however, this one was just ok. Overall the food missed the mark on the sides and that was really disappointing. The steak, appetizers and cocktails were delicious. I would come back to sit and the bar and have appetizers and drinks for a pregame or come for a dessert, but I don't think I would come back for steak dinner.

Yelp
I was back again on Monday, Oct. 14 with some out of town guests and I was boasting about the menu and especially the social hour menu. We were disappointed of the change on the social hour menu and pricing. It's no longer 50% off on select items, it's only 30% now. Not all the items that were originally marked as 50% social hour pricing 4 weeks ago are kept. Only a select other items at 30% now. To be honest, we always spend a few hundreds each time at Scotch 80 Prime as we will start with the social hour prices and then add more items that are not on the social hour menu and stay pass 7-8pm at times. Although food and service are above par as always. Our out of town guests did enjoy the dinner. Large restaurant, good variety on the menu and amazing service overall.

Yelp
Soooooo, we came for the new social hour. We ordered quite a bit and shared. I mean for a nice discount the food is decent. It wasn't the greatest of all time though. The service at the bar was wonderful, our bartender was super helpful and we had a lot of laughs. The Brie fondue and the shrimp toast wasn't my favorite. The potato chips are a knock off of what Delmonicos steak house has been doing for years. The lobster bisque was underwhelming. My favorite thing was the rib eye cap and the filet. I noticed some tables were given bread as well, and we didn't. Sad face. I mean for what you're paying it is good, but for the ambiance of a "steak house" it was just OK. I will come probably be back for the steak, oysters, and the sticky toffee pudding. The rest didn't really scream at me. Happy eating!

Yelp
Very beautiful place located in Palms Casino. We had our family gathering dinner last night and I made the best decision my choosing "Scotch 80 Prime" The service is a high level. Servers are very kind and respectful, they don't speak loud ... very classy in one word. The food was very delicious, beautifully made and served. We enjoyed eating very much that we forgot to take any pictures. Their alcohol beverage list was pretty good as well. We were really satisfied and happy with everything last night.

Yelp
Visited fourteen times since reopening under new ownership there is little doubt that The Palms is seeking to regain its title as Las Vegas' best Off-Strip resort, a goal thus far successful in terms of dining thanks to Chefs Marty Lopez and Tammy Alana at Scotch 80 Prime. Debuted late-Spring of 2018, stalwart N9NE Steakhouse making way for a room decorated in Basquiat and Haring, guests visiting Scotch 80 today will find much of the original aesthetic maintained minus paintings kept by past owners, the Bar still well-stocked with rare Whiskeys and service predictably impeccable. Located at the resort's east end with an entirely revamped menu, seasonal changes occurring alongside a Tasting Menu and Wagyu including A5 varieties straight from Japan, it was deferring Carte Blanche to the kitchen that Dinner began with Truffled Chips, an Amuse matching Wagyu Empanadas to crisp Lumpia and all-new starters including Steak Tartare on Rice crisps. Not forgetting Tammy's Milk Bread, nor Bluefin Tuna "Tacos," Steaks on this evening included one from Creekstone Farms aged in booze plus a beautiful Porterhouse of Australian Wagyu alongside Mushrooms, Cream Corn and Wagyu Fried Rice. Not forgetting a "Surf & Turf" of Foie Gras adjacent Scallops, nor Filipino-style Chicken and Short Rib riffing on Pho, Pastry Chef Tammy Alana's work is no less impressive whether one opts for Fireball S'mores or seasonal Caramel Apple Cake with Apple Cider Sauce.

Yelp
Top notch, amazing service! The first time we went was for our anniversary and although we got nothing special, we were treated so well. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and greets you upon entering. The food is where it's at though. I love love love the brioche bread and homemade truffle chips! So unique and so good! The steaks are done of the best we've had, the chicken was really good too. You can tell because it was tender and flavorful. You cannot skip the Mac and cheese, so creamy and delicious! They have an old fashioned menu for drinks which is pretty creative. I honestly can't any anything negative about anything we ate or drank anytime we've been. They also have a live DJ which gives a nice vibe to the atmosphere. Amazing restaurant all around.

Brandee N.

Yelp
Top Tier food, service and ambiance! James was our server and he made our dining experience fun and worth every penny. If you are looking to treat yourself to a good night of drinks and food... this is the place!

Yelp
Wow!!! Still oh so good after all these years but better! Thier happy hour is a MUST!!!!! I haven't been here since before the pandemic. Scotch 80 Prime was not disappointing before and it isn't now. The manager said they have a new chef now since they reopened. My friend and I decided to come here during happy hour since their prices were just toooooo good to try when compared to other steakhouses. Plus wanted to see if it was still good since I've not been here pre-pandemic times. We got the following: Bread (complimentary): Wow beautiful! So fresh and warm. Looks like it just came out of the oven. It was as good as it looked. Hawaiian bread on steroids. Chips (complimentary): yum. Nice snack but not necessary. I'll take it anyway. Shrimp cocktail- I expected it to be jumbo but was good. It is happy hour..probably serving the small ones. Cesar salad-YUM! I like the anchovies on top. It went well with the salad. I can eat this all day. Dressing was perfect. Filet mignon- perfectly cooked! Seasoning was on point! I didn't leave any for sharing! Perfect size. Mac and cheese- OMG to die for!! It needed some lobster for protein but it was perfect on its own. The cheesy sauce was the star and I love how they add the edible gold paper. Just stunning. This happy hour menu just really impressed me that I cannot wait to go back and do the full service menu. Definitely on my list for date night. Service was on point!! Staff was friendly and kept checking up on us. From the hostess to the wait staff were impressive! My crumbs were cleaned immediately and water filled so quick. They ain't no joke here. Service is top notched. Ambiance is fancy but people still coming in casual. I wish people were just upholding the dress code. But it was a Monday and lots of locals are there for their winnings!

Yelp
I had a ladies night here in the beginning of December. Myself and 3 others. We made reservations a month ahead - no issues with that. Seating was quick, atmosphere seemed very classy and welcoming. We were given our menus and we waited for what seemed like 20 minutes to even place our drink order, we had to flag a busser to find our server. We ordered our food at the same time as drinks since we had sat long enough. Needless to say we didnt have great service. First round of drinks were good. There was truffle chips given in the beginning that were very good! We had ordered the tomahawk to share and asked for it to be cooked medium. It came rare. Now I dont mind that but my other guests were unhappy since medium was something we could all agree on, and when we asked them about it, it seemed like confusion on their end. Our second round of drinks were DISGUSTING. Two of us ordered Moscow mule and it was the worst I've ever had and we are in the bartending industry so we sent those right back!! Nothing was worth pointing out besides the truffle chips in the beginning. Would I consider going again? Probably not. Was very disappointed.

Yelp
Update: What happened Scotch 80? I dine here often, and unfortunately, this last visit was disappointing. We stopped by for a quick dinner before heading to a concert. We were going to get appetizers only but decided on the Rib Cap and Brie Fondue. The steak had NO FLAVOR/ seasoning. Did they forget to season the steak? I also was given a coupon for a free drink a few months back that I wanted to use (I keep forgetting to bring it). When it was time to pay our bill, I noticed that I got charged an extra $5 for additional potato chips. No worries about that, but it's good to know in the future. Also, when I presented my free drink coupon to our waiter, he says "you would need to buy one to get one." I said no, it's just a free drink. He then said no, it's usually a BOGO. If it was a BOGO, my friend had a drink too, so that would have covered it, but it wasn't. It was a free drink. Overall, I'd still return as I usually love the food here.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience here at Scotch 80 Prime! Located at the Palms Casino, and well worth the trip if you're not staying nearby. I came here specifically for their Social Hour; which offers 50% off certain menu items. It only lasts until the end of August, and it's offered Monday - Thursday 5 - 6:30pm or 8:30 - 10pm. Reservations are recommended. If you plan on ordering oysters, then you may want to come here earlier for the 6pm menu. Unfortunately, they ran out during my visit at 8:30pm. The whole atmosphere is warm and inviting. Customer service here is top notch! Our waiter was Luis, who took good care of us. Complimentary truffle Parmesan chips are served, which was a nice surprise. I'm not sure if they're cooked in beef tallow too, but these were so tasty! The truffle flavor wasn't too intense. We couldn't stop eating these. The soft and slightly sweet rolls are served with a rosemary butter. What restaurant serves two intro sides for free! This was quite a treat before our main course. For food, I ordered the 8oz. Filet Mignon for $32.50 (SH menu price) and it was perfectly cooked! Well seasoned, moist and juicy. I loved it. Regular price is $65! What a deal. Pro Tip: Order the Red Wine Bone Marrow Demi Glaze for steak sauce. It was a great add on and full of flavor. Me and my friend shared the garlic puréed potatoes, which were amazing!! Soft, buttery, garlicky and sooo good. They were only $6 on the Social Hour menu. We also ordered the grilled asparagus, topped with a creamy Béarnaise sauce. I loved how thick the asparagus was. The sauce was delicious, and perfect. Cost is $7.50 (SH Menu). My friend ordered the Smoked Bone Marrow, which isn't on the Social Hour menu. The presentation was on point and it also comes with Wagyu Beef cheek stuffed Bao Buns. The bone marrow was fatty, and full of flavor. I wanted to pick up the bone and slurp it lol. Highly recommend! The bao buns seemed to be fried and not the typical soft and pillowy type. A different spin on it, and one that we loved. Overall, this restaurant left an impression on me and my friend. Thank you Luis for being a great server! Looking forward to coming back here next time.

Yelp
WSOP Day 33 - 4AM start, 25/25 PLO, Aria with new Euro buds. Noon finish then an evening with a friend from Hawaii. Sustenance and carbs to pregame for the illusive speakeasy, The Vault. Straight to it, big yes to the wagyu empanadas. Two per order, deliciously flavored ground A5 mixed with tomato, carrot and English peas in a perfectly made, slightly sweet pastry. Less of a yes to the $80 Japanese A5 Wagyu bites. Take a nice slice of A5 wagyu and wrap it around shaved truffle, truffle paste, torch it then add a dollop of caviar. This would have been stunning if it wasn't torched and left at refrigerated temp allowing the fat to melt slowly in the mouth. Instead, a greasy, oily, warm mess that is difficult to hold down because it's excessively rich. By the third one, I almost threw up. From previous visits, the steaks are good. Good sourcing, good trim, excellent sear and cooked to temp. This time was no exception. The 22oz dry aged bon in ribeye delivered on the promised beefy goodness. A huge side of their delicious clarified butter fried hash browns truly welcomed. Very crisp on the surface, butter goodness within. Solid wine list with lots of US producers. Choose carefully as there are some very fairly priced hidden gems. Service is steakhouse professional with decent upsell ability. Mid tier solid that neither wow's or detracts from a pleasant experience. Recommended.

Rebecca V.

Yelp
This place is beautiful and the wine room is extensive. Excellent service, minus the fact that one guest was unknowingly upsold to a larger size steak without her knowledge. For drinks, we got the last bottle of Caymus in stock (yay!) and a round of old fashioneds for the table. They were divineeeee. We started with the bacon cheese fondue which was amazing, but I wish it came with more bread for dipping. The wagyu was HEAVENLY and I would've order one for myself if I could. Steak was good, not great. Mine was a little overcooked, but the lobster tail accompaniment was cooked well and flavorful. Overall, I would recommend, but if it wasn't on the company dime, I would've been pickier about some stuff.

Yelp
No photos this time. Just enjoyment of a great meal! I went to the Palms to a concert and decided to come back to Scotch 80 again before the show. Being a Saturday night, the place was quite busy. There was a DJ and he played decent (to my taste) music, but it was very loud. I'm glad I left my hearing aids at home or I would have had to turn them to zero. I started with a summer corn bisque. A nice warm soup with a small Dungeness crab salad in the center around which my server poured the bisque. For the main course, the 8 ounce ribeye cap was done blue perfectly. A chef that pays attention to the order!!! The meat was very red and quite good. The seasoning on the steak was perfect. To finish this good meal, I got the "lemondrop" cheesecake. I know what you're thinking and I did too. I was surprised when the cheesecake arrived. It was in a good sized cocktail glass rather than being a wedge cut from a regular cheesecake. There were layers of graham crackers in the glass along with the cheescake, lemon curd, and coconut. What a fanciful and clever way to serve cheesecake! Kudos to the pastry chef! Service was excellent. Joseph was very attentive in spite of the number of tables he was covering! It was a busy night and all the servers were in continuous movement. I dropped the one star because of the music. It was simply too loud. If I were with other people, we would have had to almost yell our conversation. When I return, it will be a weekday night when hopefully there is no DJ. Otherwise, another great meal at Scotch 80.

Yelp
Honestly, how does one choose a steak house in Las Vegas? There are so many that are at least solid - and none of those are particularly inexpensive these days. Well, a food blogger I have followed since the Aughties casually mentioned that one can't get a better steak experience than Scotch 80 Prime. It was off-Strip (barely), so - well, I'd need to trust the recommendation (and I did) for me to investigate further. And further investigation revealed that Scotch 80 Prime is having its "Social Hour" special these days - a remarkable _half-price_ for many of the items on its menu. Well, then - that's worth an Uber and a try, isn't it? We made reservations (noting the dress code and dressing appropriately). And we showed up fifteen minutes early . . . and were made to wait (in a not especially well designed hallway lined with couches - the decor is kind of cheesy and made us wonder if the "80" in the name referred to the decade) every one of those fifteen minutes before being seated. At which time we noticed that . . . not everyone was paying attention to the dress code. Honestly, Scotch 80 Prime is a lot more downmarket in clientele than I'd expected to see. But the service was Vegas-level-professional - the server was a total pro but the busser was caring and friendly beyond that usual. And the food was - really good. (Most of it - the asparagus didn't do it for me.) Steaks were cooked pretty much to order and were clearly good quality cuts. The appetizers and sides were hearty. The drink service was odd in that it only allowed one alcohol drink per person at a time (surely I'm not the only person who likes a beer and a cocktail at the same time; it's not been an issue anywhere else) but that could simply be some Byzantine legal restriction. And the Social Hour pricing was a ridiculous bargain. We made sure to tip based on double the price we were charged, of course - it's not as if the folks were working any less hard just because we got a bargain price.

Yelp
My fiancé and I celebrated his birthday at Scotch 80 Prime, and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was exceptional, making us feel truly valued from start to finish. The food was fantastic - we ordered the steak and added lobster, which was incredibly fresh and paired perfectly. The high-end ambiance made the evening feel extra special. We'll definitely be back again for another amazing night out!

Yelp
Came here for their happy hour. Do not sleep on this happy hour. The happy hour is from 5 PM to 6:30 PM and served anywhere in the restaurant. There are several items that are 50% off, including steaks and lobster. The service was impeccable, what you would expect at a fine dining experience. The servers were amazing. Our waters were always filled, and they took special care and making sure the table was cleared in a timely manner. Great teamwork. The ambience is beautiful, modern and classy. They also had a wine cellar. Although people were dressed casual, this was a nice place and I would recommend dressing up a little bit. These are the things we ate. Steak tartare 8/10. I liked the steak tartare, but I did not like the hard hash brown that it was served with. I believe they were trying to mimic a cracker with the hash brown, but it was just hard and not. Shrimp toast 9/10. They are big servings and you got four. It kind of reminded me of like a Thai shrimp, toast, imagined a piece of toast topped with shrimp and then breaded in Panko and deep fried. There were some sauces that were drizzled on top . I would order this again. Famous hashbrowns 5/10 there was really nothing famous about these hashbrowns. I did like that they were cooked well done. I love potatoes we had to give this one a try. Oysters, I give this 10/10 we kept saying we wish we had ordered more. Serve it with a few accoutrements like lemon, Costco, Minette sauce, and a spicy cocktail sauce. The oysters were fresh and briny just the way we like them. The wedge salad was surprisingly also delicious. They serve it in a very cute and unique way. The lettuce is super crunchy and crispy and the bacon pieces were delicious. I would definitely come back to this restaurant for a special occasion, but you can't beat the happy hour here.

Yelp
Chef de Cuisine Marty Lopez, the head chef at 80 Prime Steakhouse at the Palms Casino and Resort has done it again. His latest culinary triumph is the seasonal Summer Menu. What makes his menu so special is his respect for food and his relationship with it. Of purse there is the visual aspect - the starters such as the wedge salad served as a baby iceberg lettuce that resembles a rosebud, surrounded by the bacon. Or the generous Bone marrow appetizer, which is smoked for 6-7 hours before service begins. A sprinkle of mustard seeds gives the rich marrow a new texture complimented by a slight tang. The dish is accompanied by a savory braised Wagyu beef cheek served in the muted sweetness of a miniature Japanese Bao bun topped with the brightness and acidity of pickled papaya slaw. But the star of the night? The king salmon, which proves that not all salmon is equal. Perfectly portioned, this elegant dish is indeed the prettiest girl at the dance. So expertly pan-seared, just crispy enough on top but yet retains its juicy interior that insures the salmon is light and flaky. The presentation of the salmon is exquisite, set atop a bed of buttered leeks with new potatoes nestled amidst the fresh herb salad of baby squash blossoms and thin pool of beurre blanc. Every bite is heavenly. Despite its generous serving, Chef Lopez knows exactly how to give true foodies just enough to leave them wanting more, simply to be able to experience it all over again. And of course, Chef Lopez does not disappoint with his summer dessert - a lemon drop martini cheesecake. This layered cheesecake is served in a martini glass, topped with lemon curd, and is decadent enough to satisfy even the most discerning sweet tooth, without being overbearing. Another reason to rejoice? Scotch 80 has introduced a new summer happy hour in which guests can enjoy some select entrees and starters at half-off between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., and again from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The summer menu at Scotch 80 Prime calls for a visit before the summer ends! So don't forget to make reservations and tell them Ms. Ross sent you!

Yelp
Believe me when I say Scotch 80 Prime is TOP TIER. Let me tell you why... I feel when majority of people visit "A" steakhouse (emphasis on the "A'). They believe their dining somewhere fancy or of quality because its labeled as "A" steakhouse. That ideology is crazy to me because there's levels to this. Quality of the food matters. Steakhouses that pay top price to get quality cuts of meat will want to showcase everything about the raw ingredients obtained. Details like, the origins of the particular steak cut, the ounces your getting, if its aged or not, the grade, and as much of a description as humanly possible, should be included under the dish on the menu. If not, the staff should be able to answer or look up any of these questions if you happen to ask. I ended up opting for a flashy seafood flambe dish and not a steak however, All of these are included on Scotch 80 Primes menu except for the grade of steak. I will tell you though that my waiter was able to answer when I inquired about the grade. Pricing matters. Yes I get it, everyone wants a bargain, a deal, or whatever however, you must pay the cost to be the boss. You cant pay $20 dollars and expect the steak to be quality. The USDA Prime and Choice programs solely exist to grade beef cuts which help determine prices. Also lets not forget the quality seafood market value, So yes Scotch 80 Prime is going to be expensive. so prepare. A top tier steakhouse isn't just about the food and steaks, its about the whole freaking experience! The staff has to be great, and I mean ALL STAFF. The bar has to be great because your cocktail has to be on point. The Hosts, servers, even sommeliers need to be knowledgable, accommodating, and friendly. Your spending a pretty penny remember? When I tell you I had all this and more...I had all this and more! definitely worth the money guyz!

Yelp
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff are nicely dressed. I saw them cleaning and the bathrooms are located right at the entrance and they are clean as well with thoughtful placement the waste baskets. We sat in the first dining room which I wondered if it was because we had 5:30 dinner reservations but as the evening progressed no one was sitting in the main room. Maybe it was a slower Friday night. The staff was as very attentive and aware of your needs. Our waiter was very nice, attentive and gave very good recommendations. As for the food, the cocktails were very good and they brought out milk, bread and truffled potato chips. The bread was warm and delicious and the chips were crispy with the right seasoning of truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. We started with the lobster bisque and the wedge salad. The salad was amazingly fresh, the dressing was so good and creamy and the bacon was a wonderful addition. I enjoyed the Lobster bisque but I don't think I'll order it again. He was not Hot enough even after we asked to warm it up again. We had not finished with these dishes when our main course arrived. I ordered the Chilean sea bass, which came highly recommended and it was fabulous! So fresh and flaky well cooked pieces of fish. The sauce it comes with is divine. But the veggies especially the mushrooms were especially excellent. It was like eating candy! My husband had the rib cap and it was cooked perfectly. We had a side of the truffle fries and they were delicious and agin perfect crisp and seasoning. Our dessert was AMAZING! Mt compliment to the pastry chef and I would go there again for cocktails and desserts. Side note there is a Happy Hour menu which I would come back for. For dessert we had the butterscotch crème brûlée-OMG! Go try it! It was my birthday and they brought out chocolate ice cream which was delicious too! The cons for me were that there was not a dress code for the restaurant. I felt like the vibe required nice attire without hoodies. But again maybe that was the night.

Yelp
We took a large group of 12 for a business dinner. They placed us in a private dining room. The service was attentive and excellent. The food was incredible. I was told that the massive pork chop was awesome and it was. Others had unique items like bone in NY strip. For sides, you have to do the hash browns and creamed corn. We did cocktails and red wine with dinner. The presentation of the wine was unique. The dessert menu and presentation are extraordinary.

Yelp
Came in for their Social Hour after seeing quite a few of their ads for it. It wasn't difficult securing a same-day reservation on a weeknight. I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekends but the Social Hour is Mon-Thurs anyway. Interestingly, they had menus with just their Social Hour items online which was really convenient. However, in person, they give you their full menu and you have to look through it for items marked with their logo to indicate a Social Hour item. Seems like it would be easier to just have a printed Social Hour menu. Ribeye Cap - Asked for medium and they nailed it. This is their main event and they definitely do it well Scotch 80 Burger - Also asked for medium but leaned medium-rare at best. It was a definitely worth a try for my partner, but I'm not sure the elevated ingredients such as the milk bread or thick-cut bacon made it stand out any more than other gourmet burgers Steak Tartare / Famous Hash Brown / Grilled Asparagus - All were solid, although I was expecting a bit more from the Steak Tartare in particular Garlic Potato Puree - Of all the sides we got, this was the standout. Simple dish but with great texture and flavor Service was fantastic. Make sure to park at the East Garage. We parked at the West Garage which is literally the complete opposite end of the property. This city has so many steakhouses to compete with, but overall, their Social Hour makes them a solid contender if you're wanting a fancier dinner without breaking the budget.

Yelp
A friend and I sat at the bar here and dined off their Social Hour menu which has cocktails and small bites. There was a live dj playing music so the vibe was definitely there. The service here was excellent. Our Bartender was Larry and from the moment we sat down he was incredibly attentive and answered all our questions about the menu. He is a big part of why I would return. Great drinks and food can be found anywhere in this town, but I like to spend my money where I'm welcomed. Thank you for your help Larry! Here is everything we ordered: Food * Scallops & Bacon- 3/5 as scallops were not seared and looked bland and tasted just ok. *Cured Tuna Crudo- 5/5 the tuna was served with a truffle ponzu sauce that added incredible flavor the dish. *Pineapple Basque Cake- 4/5 a dense cake with a pineapple center which would have been better if served warm Drinks *Vaulted Mai Tai- 4/5 like a classic Mai Tai with an extra punch, they did not skimp on the liquor *Child's Play-5/5 my friend loved this

Yelp
Just go! Great food and best Happy Hour in town! 5-6:30 and 50% off many items off the menu. Fantastic wine selection as well. Service and restaurant decor was tops as well. No complaints from us - we enjoyed our dining experience here! You'll enjoy the food- we loved it all! Let me know what you think!

Yelp
Found this gem on instagram and heard about their social hour so we had to try it for our date night and OMG what an experience! Ambiance was very classy yet comfortable. Clean and professional. The staff was kind and told us about their menu. They were quick to give us their japanese milk bread and chips for starters and it a as so yummy! Food: Scotch 80 Brie Fondue: 5/5 it was the classiest cheese and bread and oh so yummy. The crispy bread paired well the the fondue. The fondue itself was sweet and slightly salty as it had bacon and jam in it! We just devoured that thing! 8oz ribeye with Lobster tail (extra charge): 10/10 It was unbelievably delicious as the steak wad cooked to perfection (we like medium) and the giant lobster tail was grilled to perfection! It was a perfect pair and highly recommend! Miso Glazed Sea Bass with asparagus (extra): 10/10 If love fish then you gotta try this! It was amazingly well cooked! It didn't have that fishy taste and it was very delectable! What ai loved about tjis dish was it paired well with the shiitake mushrooms and bokchoy! It was simply delicious! I can't forget the asparagus! It was delicious in its own right! They were huge portions enough to share! Famous hash browns: 5/5 this was also delicous in its own right but sadly we were too full to eat! Its a large portion enough for two! Overall our experience was amazing and the restaurant and its employees were amazing! Hats off to the chef who prepared such amazing meals! I am super glad they started this social hour menu! Definitely will bring friends and family when we come back!

Yelp
One of my new favorites in Vegas! This place has been on our list for a while, and we heard great things, but they went above our expectations. Let's start with the ambiance- the decor and vibe are upscale steak house. You can tell no expense was spared - the book matched floor to ceiling marble is beautiful and the warm wood tones are giving expensive scotch! The food was spectacular- everything was delicious but the millionaire macaroni was my favorite! The service was also top notch, the hostesses were friendly, the wait staff was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and super friendly. Scotch 80 is definitely on our must-return list - check them out!

Yelp
Located inside the Palms hotel and casino you'll find one of the best steakhouses in Vegas, Scotch 80 Prime. I went last week for their social hour, and I was SO IMPRESSED. This is one of the few fine dining restaurants in Vegas that offers inane discounts !! You can get an entire meal from appetizers to steaks, sides and cocktails HALF OFF. Yes, seriously HALF OFF. We started with the bacon brie fondue. It comes with warm toasted bread and a jam in the middle, the bacon is thick and delicious, for $8 you cannot beat this! They also bring complimentary bread and truffle chips to the table as well. My favorite cocktail was the "send for me." We also ordered the filet mignon, garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything we ordered was a 10/10 on flavor and quality and again HALF OFF. Our entire bill totaled to $110. We got an appetizer (plus complimentary bread and chips), 2 filet mignons, two sides, and 3 cocktails for $110. This type of deal does not exist anywhere else in Vegas! I highly recommend you go! Their social hour is Mon-thurs 5-6:30pm and 8:30-10pm, it makes for the perfect date night or just a fun week night dinner!

Yelp
we had dinner reservations on a Friday night for 8 o'clock. It was our first time going there and when we saw the restaurant, it was absolutely beautiful inside the decor was elegant yet hip. The ambience was perfect being located inside a hotel casino very cool vibes, music playing, but not too loudperfect for a date night. The food was excellent. We had an appetizer and two main courses and everything was delicious. We did not have room for dessert. The drinks were great. It was a great evening for first time visit. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this, If you're looking for killer steak house slightly off the strip look no further.. While staying at the Palms Place Casino my friends and I had the pleasure of eating at Scotch 80 Prime for our last meal of my bachelor party. The vibe is nice for being inside the palms, it doesn't feel like you're inside a casino once you're in the restaurant. Service was on point the entire meal, very attentive and friendly. They had a huge wine list and nice selection of various old fashions and we all ordered one to start. Everyone agreed they were well balanced and everyone was happy with them. They serve complimentary fresh made Japanese milk bread that was out of this world and we had the Rainbow Tiradito appetizer to start which was very fresh and delicious. For our mains we all had the 8oz filet mingon medium rare with a selection of different sides all of which were great. I opted to get my filet served Oscar style with a huge piece of king crab and a nice and light bernaise type sauce that really complimented it well. The filet was easily the best I've ever had and cooked absolutely perfect with an amazing crust encasing it. Our waiter recommended a glass of Malbec to go with the meal and it paired perfectly, They had a huge list of deserts that all sounded awesome but we opted out. All in all it was an expectational meal from start to finish and felt like it was worth the money we paid for. I look forward to returning and can't recommend Scorch 80 prime enough if you're looking for an exceptional meal and killer steak house in Vegas.

Yelp
One of my favorite steakhouses in Vegas. Excellent food, service, and ambiance. Great for date night

Yelp
The ambiance and food were fantastic. It's easy to get to from anywhere on the Las Vegas Strip in the Palms Casino Resort. The service was very rough when we first sat down, bad decisions by management created extremely slow service for the first 20 minutes. After that.... It was fabulous Check out my experience https://youtu.be/eG_pIj1k4nw?si=SvBazUAemhWn1G95

Yelp
A party of 20, service was horrible, here are the events that we as customers that paid several thousands for dinner experienced. 1. Brought out bread and chips without any plates and utensils for 20 guest. 2. More than half of the steaks were not cooked like they were requested by the guest. Horrible. Some of the steaks were cooked burned. 3. Wine server did not serve all the guest that requested wine. 4. One guest received their food over 10 minutes late. Horrible. 5. Not enough bread and chips were brought out. Bottom line, this Resturant is a joke. Charges thousands for horrible service. I will never set foot at the restaurant again. This is a reflection of poor leadership leading the workers, they do not understand the meaning of service. What a dump.

Yelp
I have taken customers to Scotch 80 Prime twice this year. The steaks are pretty good. They have a very good menu. I think it's a little over priced though. There are better steakhouses in Las Vegas for the prices they charge. Ambiance was good and service has been sub par from my two experiences.

Crystal D.

Yelp
Beautiful white tablecloth Steakhouse. Amazing hostess and manager who were very attentive. Drinks are good with nice pour but weak. Lobsters were nice size, fresh, and cooked perfectly. Steak was supposed to be bone in but I didn't have a bone but perfectly cooked to medium and plated beautifully and good. Definitely good food and service with great management.

Yelp
This place is incredible, we stayed at Palms Place for 5 nights and ate there 2 and it should have been 3x. So the first night, wait they start you off with potato chips, made in truffle oil and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese in a round tin, they are out of this world, and a round Japanese bread that was like a challah bread with I think a hint of rosemary. So the first night I had sea bass omg, for the sides we had asparagus in hollandaise sauce, and hash browns with brie cheese also incredible! My wife had a ribeye. The second night I had the sea bass again lol, but this time my wife also had it, but this time we had cream spinach. The service is also incredible as well as the ambience! This place is a must. I will definitely be back I guarantee it!

Katy C.

Yelp
Had a great experience. The food was so good and the price was unbeatable on the social hour. Cocktails and certain menu items are all half off including steaks appetizers and a little bit of everything all over the menu. Everything we got was half off and you just cannot beat a fine dining meal for the price. Social hour is from 5 to 630 PM then 830 to 10 PM. Definitely will be returning.

Josh M.

Yelp
Food was very good. Service was shite. We felt forgotten about. Had to check in on drinks, didn't receive bread, and utensils taken before we were done with a side item. Such a bummer The server said I could just use the dish the asparagus came in and use the tongs. I thought he was joking but off he went with my fork and knife.

Yelp
This was such an amazing restaurant from start to finish. My friend and I stopped in around 5:30pm to grab dinner and drinks at the bar after we finished swimming at The Palms pool. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was their social hour (happy hour but much better). There are a couple appetizers, salads, entrees, and sides that are all 50% off from 5- 6:30. Everything was SO good, including the service from the bartenders. They gave us milk bread which neither of us ever had before and if I could have just eaten that for dinner I would have. It was incredible. We shared a wedge salad, and then dined on an 8 ounce filet with bleu cheese crust, a rib cap, macaroni and cheese with edible gold, and mushrooms. This was such a good deal for great food! We are going back next week! Lol.

Nikki J.

Yelp
This has easily become our go-to spot for everything: date night, holidays, birthdays, you name it. Our first server ever was Joe -- and we continually request for him because we know he will take care of us. We also love the bartender Ruben! Always such welcoming energy from both of them. This place encompasses good food with good service consistently and that's what keeps us coming back! Some of our favorite dishes we highly recommend: - Brie fondue - Shrimp toast - Half-shell oysters - Ice-chilled seafood tower - 8oz Ribeye Cap - Mac & 3 cheese (add lobster!) But honestly-- literally EVERYTHING is good! :) PRO TIP: Half off select appetizers, entrees and drinks Monday thru Thursday 5:00-6:30pm for happy hour is an amazing deal! Don't sleep on that!

Yelp
CES came around again and my friends were back in town. They were trying to decide which steakhouse to head to and I suggested coming here because it was at the hotel they were staying at. When you walk in, you're automatically greeted. Since everyone was getting back from the convention, I was the 2nd to arrive from my party and I met up with them at the bar while we waited for everyone else to come. Bartenders were great. They do have happy hour, just not from Fri-Sun. But eventually everyone arrived and we sat, shared appetizers, sides, and I'd really recommend the tower but it was perfect for us since we were sharing everything. The prime ribeye I had was disappointing, must have been cut unevenly because I requested medium but one end was more done than the other and also, I thought I was given a New York at first because the steak was a bit more leaner than how I usually have my ribeyes.

Ania K.

Yelp
One of the best steakhouses in Vegas. I get asked often which steakhouse should one visit when in town and this place is always in my top 5. Here's why... The space is easy to get to from the garage that doesn't charge you to park like so many other strip assholes who think that's cool. It's also very close from the garage and you're not walking a mile to have dinner. The space is very spacious and sexy, and tables aren't on top of another. Lastly the food is great. We're here once a month and this is a really great date night spot. A little more casual on the bar side as well if you don't feel like being fancy. The menu offers your classic steakhouse fare and we haven't had anything we wouldn't order again. Showstoppers are the cuts of meat whether you go with a wood grilled prime, or a dry-aged steak from one of the best American ranchers. If you feel like splurging they also carry Japanese-certified Wagyu steaks. The soups and salads are great, especially the French onion soup and the wedge salad. The complimentary milk bread feels like a pillow you'd like to take a nap on. They make one of the juiciest burgers around. I highly recommend one of their old fashioned's to get the party started. The Yellowstone Old Fashioned might add some hair to your chest. Service is always professional and there's a team to make sure you have a great time. If you haven't been here already I suggest you add it to your Vegas to-do list. Social hour is available Mon-Thu only from 5pm-6:30pm ~ enjoy half priced cocktails, domestic beer, and glasses of house red or white wine.
