Google
Normally don’t put reviews, but this food was really bad. Appetizers came out cold like they were unevenly microwaved. Veggies in the curry and noodle dishes were inconsistently cooked. Found an egg shell in the basil stir fry. I feel like any of these issues could be fixed if the cook tasted the food just once before serving. Quality was very low but the reviews were very high so I don’t know if maybe they were understaffed when we went. The service was great. She reheated the food and we got dessert on the house but just felt really weird bc Thai food normally has high standards for quality. I want to try again, but the quality and attention to detail needs to get a lot better.

I stumbled upon a hidden gem today, and I couldn’t be happier! While wandering through the area, I decided to stop by this charming Thai restaurant to surprise my husband, who loves Thai food. Little did I know, I was about to experience something truly special. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting. The tables were spotless and thoughtfully decorated with fresh flowers, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. The owner greeted me with a kind smile and immediately made me feel at home. I was handed a pristine menu, and the message on the front caught my eye: 'Every bite is delicious because it’s made with love.' That promise couldn’t have been more accurate. I decided to order takeout and chose a Thai tea, crab rangoons, and a spicy pad Thai with extra-extra chicken. While waiting, the owners treated me to a cup of hot tea. The aroma was incredible—like the comforting scent of freshly steamed rice—and the flavor was just as delightful. It turns out the tea is made with rice, and I instantly fell in love. I can confidently say this tea alone is reason enough to return. When my food was ready, the owners chatted with me for a bit, and their kindness shone through in every word. Before I left, they even gifted me a little keychain—a thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable. Once I got home, the aroma of the food was irresistible, and I couldn’t wait to dig in. The crab rangoons were perfectly crispy with a creamy filling, and the pad Thai was absolutely bursting with flavor—hands down the best I’ve had in the area. I didn’t even pause to take pictures; it was that good. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience. The food, the hospitality, and even the tea left a lasting impression on me. I’m so grateful to have discovered this spot and can’t wait to come back again!

Google
Best red curry-nice, rich creamy curry sauce with the perfect amount of spice. Looking forward to trying more of my go to fave Thai dishes from here-spicy ground chicken basil, papaya salad, noodles dishes, crab rangoon, egg rolls. Hoping they are just as flavorful as their red curry.

Google
Took my daughter out for lunch on her birthday! We really enjoyed the food! Everything was absolutely delicious! The staff were very pleasant! Excellent customer service! Can’t wait to come back! Thank you!

Google
This was definitely the 2nd worst thai food I've ever had in my life. The Pad Thai had barely any flavor, the noodles were rubbery, not cooked well at all. The Tofu tasted like pancake batter and sour in a bad way, and smelled weird too. Even the eggs were not good. Aside from it being cooked poorly, the restaurant might be doing something fishy with the tips, as I left a $10 tip on the delivery via Uber, and somehow the restaurant sent someone from DoorDash who didn't receive my tip. That was weird!

Google
Great experience for my hubby's birthday. The food was delicious! We had the egg rolls, country fried chicken, nam sod salad, curry panang with chicken, basil fried rice with chicken, and paw si ew with chicken. The owners were kind and friendly and brought out sticky rice mango dessert with candle and sang happy birthday what owners does that!? It made my husband night and the dessert tasted really good!!! It felt good to have the place to ourselves--it was quiet intimate and nice decor overall. I would highly recommend. Thanks again for the great customer service. We will return.

Google
Ordered Pad Thai AND paid the $5 for extra extra peanut sauce. They wrote on the receipt that they were sold out of the peanut sauce; so no extra sauce, that sucks, BUT there was none on my pad thai either. So I have unseasoned vegetables, boiled chicken and oily undressed noodles. Beyond disappointed, will never order from here again.

Google
Placed an order on uber eats and let’s list the number of things that went wrong…besides the food just being ok. 1) ordered a Thai iced that that was free with an order of $30. Never received it. 2) ordered pad khe maw with chicken - showed up with veggies. 3) noodles had no sauce since they were poorly packaged and spilled everywhere. 4) papaya salad - zero taste. Overall…order from another restaurant in the area. This place needs to get things in order.

Yelp
Enjoyed a quiet meal with my daughter in the dining area. Service was friendly, and the menu had tons of pictures to make sure you knew what you were getting. She ordered her go to meal of basil chicken and I went with the shrimp pad see ew. Both dishes were perfectly fine, but didn't wow us with flavor. We probably should have opted for more spice when asked, so partially our fault. We were just in the area and didn't have time to go to our regular spot further north.

Yelp
Not the same as it use to be. It was gross tonight. Overcooked mushy rice. Super dry chicken and the shrimp were not great. Bed behind the counter with kids sleeping in it. Dirty tables inside and nobody cleaning them. The kids have drawn all over the walls all over the rear of the restaurant and into the kitchen. I was grossed out. This use to be a really great place and always clean. Not any more Feb 9 2025

Yelp
Thai restaurant that has changed owners a few times. Current owner doing well with the place so far. Today is their ribbon cutting- thought I'd check it out. Will likely pick up some Chicken Pad Thai to go, generous portions and great taste.

Barbara S.

Yelp
Hand-prepared perfectly-spiced authentic Thai food made our vegan family celebration great. We had pot stickers, spring rolls, edamame, fried tofu, curries, vegetable/cashew dishes, and more with all the wonderful sauces you'd want. Dining area has a combination of booths and regular tables with chairs. Attentive service...even snapping some photos for us to remember the occasion.

Yelp
Last night I had steamed Thai dumplings and pad kee Mao. I immensely enjoyed all the flavors and textures. The pad kee mao was cooked to perfection-veggies and shrimp were wonderful. The steamed Thai dumplings made with shrimp, crabmeat and chicken were nothing less than a gourmet treat. I am salivating as I'm writing this. Thank you, Na Siam.

Yelp
I really enjoy the Thai food there. My fav is ginger chicken and panag curry and ground basil chicken. Street parking

Alex G.

Yelp
Great experience with the family here. The server was incredibly welcoming, giving my niece an elephant souvenir. They also recommended the khao soi which I had with duck, and it was perfect. Will definitely revisit soon

Judith L.

Yelp
Food is very good. Restaurant is run by a lovely family - newly here. Give it a try.

Yelp
Food was awesome and the new owners are amazing!! The food is made fresh to order and the pineapple fried rice is a must!

Yelp
This was a great little hole in the wall Thai restaurant right on W. North St. in Oak Park. We enjoyed the drunken noodles and the yellow curry special noodle, with Chicken Satay as an app. Not too busy, but it was a Wednesday evening. Very reasonable priced and fast table service. Go check it out!

Nidia D.

Yelp
1st time here today, food was excellent, wonderful customer service, attentive and welcoming. Will definitely return.

Yelp
Had carry out dinner with friends and everything was on point.... tasty , fresh and easy delivery i. The Oakpark area.

Yelp
We ordered the potstickers and crab Rangoon as appetizers. They were delicious and perfectly crisp with great flavor. Also had the papaya salad, chicken pad Thai and beef panang curry. Best panang I've had in a long time. All of the food was delicious. Service was top notch. Adorable, quiet little spot with kind owners that made us feel special.

Yelp
It was hard deciding what to get as their menu is very extensive! I went with edamame for an appetizer, lime chicken and rice, and my friend got the chicken pad thai. The server was very friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. The pad thai was a little to sticky for our taste, I've had better. I enjoyed the lime chicken. It was very light tasting even though it was fried. I would come back to try other dishes on the menu!
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
I went with some family and we shared a few dishes together the Orange chicken is different than any I have had, the breading was very crispy and tasted fresh. The Pad Thai serving was very generous. The appetizer was a bit small, but overall everything tasted good and the options were standard to other thai places. I would only beware of chicken dishes that may have ground chicken in them, I didnt pay attention and got one of those. I dont ever choose ground chicken (its not how I like my chicken), so it was my fault but hadnt ever seen it even as an option...so that was a little weird.

Yelp
Ordered takeout here and the food I got was not only wrong it tasted old and nasty. Worst Thai food ever! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

Julia C.

Yelp
Best pad Thai in the area for sure. Seems very fresh every time I have had it.

Yelp
So this place is actually pretty delicious. But... Their delivery isn't great. The last few times we've ordered delivery the food has been incredibly late. Like close to 2 hours late. We had to reheat the food after it was delivered because it was room temp by the time it got to us. I called the restaurant (every time the food has been late) and they assured me the food was on the way, but had no idea when it would arrive, and they did not comp us for the extreme lateness. If this was an isolated incident I'd let it go, but it's not. If delivery is that much of a problem, then stop doing deliveries until the issue is fixed. Also, when the food came, there was much less food than there usually is (like...one of our entrees was half full). Damn guys, you're killing me. One of the best parts of Thai food is eating the leftovers the next day. Not sure if we will order from them again.

Yelp
I use to come to this restaurant regularly when it was Oak Park Thai because it was cheap and decent. I was a bit sad when it closed but so happy when it reopened as Na Siam. My first visit, shortly after opening, I wasn't excited about the food. However, I came back last night and was very pleased with the quality. I ordered the Fresh Spring Rolls, Tom Yum, and Pad Kee Mao. Everything was made vegan for me. The Tom Yum was already vegan and possibly the Spring Rolls. The portions aren't huge but I was satisfied. When I was done the server brought me a complimentary desert. Some sort of root vegetable in coconut milk. It was delicious. I will absolutely be coming back. Now I've been back many times. I'm trying to work my way through the menu and so far, I haven't had a thing that I didn't love. It's seeming like it is possible to have almost anything made vegan by just substituting the meat with tofu. The chef has told me that she doesn't use fish sauce in anything. She herself doesn't like fish sauce. YAY for me! Now the servers remember me, the dishes that I've tried, and my high demands. :) They make suggestions for me, which I LOVE! The food presentation is always beautiful and the ingredients always seem very fresh. Don't forget, it's a BYOB.

Yelp
I went to Na Siam on a Friday night and it was empty. It is a whole in the wall Thai restaurant. There is hardly any parking. The utensils are dirty so please make sure there clean before start eating. We ordered chicken satay as an appetizer, it was good. For entree my guest ordered pineapple fried rice with chicken and indicated it was good. It looked good but not sure if it tasted good. I had salmon curry with rice. The salmon could have been cooked better, but the curry was perfect with the rice. I'm not sure if I would go back here, maybe order DoorDash or what ever service they use. FYI... on my way back I noticed I had passed a marijuana dispensary

Yelp
Service was great greeted very nice , very relaxed atmosphere, generous portions and food was very good had Tom Kai soup, basil fried rice, and curry will be back.

Siobhan D.

Yelp
Extensive menu, quiet dining room, very quick and attentive service, free street parking. The dining room was very quiet, only one other table of guests. I had the vegetarian egg rolls and Pad Kee-Maw, and a Coke. A real Coke, out of a can, which I love. Really solid meal. Reasonable prices.

Kahlil H.

Yelp
Ordered the fish cakes and was expecting actual cakes and got 8 rubbery chicken nugget sized fish circles, also got two Thai coffees that were 80% ice cubes. Total was 17 dollars unfortunately for me. Pad thai decent though.

Randy R.

Yelp
The Pad se-ew was the super-star of our visit. Everything else was great! You can't go wrong here as far as I can tell!!
google avatar

Liz M.

Yelp
Solid Thai takeout in Oak Park. My husband and I got a few dishes to try. The Satay appetizer was very tasty! Crab rangoons were fine. Nothing special. And then the chicken curry we got was perfect- great flavors, delicious veggies, perfect rice, and a wonderful coconut curry sauce. The gentleman i picked up the food from was super sweet and pleasant- seems like they would definitely be attentive to dine-in customers, so I hope I can go sometime and try it out!

Yelp
Excellent thai food. Came here on a Saturday. Ordered fresh spring rolls, tofu laab, tofu lad nar, tofu red curry, and tofu tom Kha soup. Everything was awesome and we liked everything. Usually we only like a few dishes but this place has great flavor for all dishes and soup. The spring rolls were fresh and the plum sauce was perfect. Not too sweet. The tofu laab was really tasty with the perfect lime and fish sauce flavor. Tom Kha was perfect and had such a spot on taste. The lad nar had great flavor. Some other thai places have very little taste with the sauce for lad nar. This place was great and we added some thai red pepper chili paste to the lad nar. The red curry was perfect and has the correct amount of coconut milk in it. If you are vegetarian this place is paradise for you. Had the mango sticky rice and thai custard. They were both great. Sorry did not take too many pictures. Are everything since it was so good and forgot to take photos.

Yelp
Food is absolutely amazing. The cute old couple make you feel like home. Kennedy - the lady upfront amazing too. Flavors are fantastic and this place is priced well too. Very satisfied!

Yelp
The food was amazing. This is the 3rd time ordering from here and so far everything was great. The panang curry was the best. Their crab Rangoon and spring rolls are perfect. They haves us complimentary drinks ( not sure what is was) but also great. I love their customer service here, not many places have good customer service anymore. My favorite place for Thai!!!
google avatar

Danny S.

Yelp
What an incredible new place. We ate in. Everything was social distanced. We met the owners who were incredible and very proud to serve their clients. I don't usually like crab rangoon but they do it way different here and it's incredible. The basil chicken is extremely delicious. I have no complaints and can't wait to come here again.

Yelp
I came by na Siam on Sunday for lunch. It was not very busy and it was a bit awkward hearing the front desk watching tv in the background. The menu is on the large size and has pretty much all the typical Thai food dishes that you would expect. No items out of the ordinary. We asked for recommendations, which the server surprisingly has a hard time providing. The pork skewer appetizer was delicious- sweet, salty and fatty on a stick. Sticky rice was solid, papaya salad was pretty standard compared to other restaurants around town. I liked their version of Thai basil chicken- very well seasoned and a bit more salty than others in town. The khao soi was also very good- delicately seasoned with well-prepared noodles. In short, a good basic Thai food place to add to the list, but not much that makes it stand out.
google avatar

Dana O.

Yelp
They have good food, and kind management, but offer smaller portions at higher price compared to other nearby restaurants selling same food. I have uploaded a picture of the "large" wonton soup I received via delivery. It was over 7 dollars while other places are 5-6, and not even full! I had intended in sharing this between 2 people, and am very disappointed. I have had the same issues here with curry dishes that I request and pay for additional protein. They "skimp" and there is no reason, when they charge what they do.

Yelp
Atmosphere: I visited this place for the first time tonight and I was very impressed! It is a very cozy, family-owned restaurant where it seems like all the family members played a part in either the reception, waitor or in the kitchen. What was really endearing was the cutlery and bowls and plates were what I would find in my own kitchen cabinet and it brought a sense of homeliness to the place. The music was light and fit well with the calm ambience. Food: Like any Thai restaurant I usually visit, I ordered the Pad Woo sen. similar to all Thai restaurant, the noodle-to-vegetable ratio was off but what made this place special is when I asked for it spicy, boy did they make it spicy. And not the dry spice adding cayenne pepper at the end kind. it was spicy that was built in well with the flavor. I also got the Thai iced tea which was your generic thai iced tea. I was once asked by a friend whether I would ever go out and grab a lobster on a Thursday night. I paused. My answer was simple and was relevant to this restaurant: I told her I think about where my money goes. Would i rather let it go to a multi-national chain or would I rather contribute to a place that has value and humbleness. Nonetheless, I would definitely visit again!

Yelp
Super friendly service and I'm a fan of the nam tok beef and Tom kha soup. But let's talk about the crab Rangoon. These things are delicate crispy morsels of amazing. They use thin wonton skins that are lightly crisp with a not too sweet filling that makes me come back for this alone. Don't get them to go. You'd be doing them a disservice.

Eliza C.

Yelp
So sorry to give a not so great review but it lacked so much. First, let me say how very sweet they were. We came in on a cold Chicago night and they were warm and kind. We ordered Pad See Ew beef, Tom Kha chicken soup, Som Tum salad, Pad Thai chicken. Every dish was just disappointing. There was no depth in flavor like everything had been thrown together quickly. I couldn't taste any lemongrass in the soup and only had mushrooms and onions floating around with the chicken. The salad was barely flavored with a small amount of dressing that was extremely watered down not the usual tart and sour savory dressing that it usually comes with. The noodles were just floppy and wet, hardly any rich sauce or any grill marks on the Pad See Ew noodles. The beef was tough and old tasting and looking. Now, maybe it was an off night, maybe they were out of some ingredients but that should've been explained. Nevertheless, every single dish left a lot to be desired. I felt like it was a waste of carbs and money, sadly. We will not be back. We'll stick to our tried and true places even though one of them (Elephant Thai) still hasn't opened up for dine in since COVID. Very disappointed. This could've been the start to a beautiful friendship as we live down the street.

Yelp
Good food, quick delivery, fantastic service. I tried them out for the first time last night. I have a cold and was itching for Tom Yum soup. The delivery was extremely fast, and the soup, Pad Thai, and Pad See Ewe were amazing. As my head was swimming in my sick state, I also severely overpaid. The owner was so kind--he noticed the mistake and dropped by to give me my money back after his shift was over. They have a new, very happy customer.
google avatar

Jamie F.

Yelp
I have never been so upset. We ordered delivery on Monday and our crab rangoon was delivered with ants running around in the container. We immediately called to report this and the gentleman said he would remove the charge for that item and refund the delivery fee. Are you kidding me? What awful service and absolutely disgusting. We will never order from here again.

Joanne D.

Yelp
ONLY CARRY OUT right now. Tried to eat in and found out the hard way. Happily, there was another Thai restaurant a block away.
google avatar

Mallory M.

Yelp
Come here regularly for my red curry fix :) pick up is always super quick and staff friendly

Felicity W.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS A HIDDEN GEM. My boyfriend and I go here at least once a week, our favorite thai spot. Always friendly staff waiting to seat us and everything on the menu is delicious. If there is ever a zombie apocalypse I hope this is the restaurant we get trapped in it's that good!

Ming P.

Yelp
food is delicious, Tom khaki soup is very balanced, loved the shrimp pad Thai noodles. recommended.
google avatar

James T.

Yelp
Ordered from here at least a dozen times now. The service is friendly and the food's great and reasonably priced. Throw "being walking distance from my house" into the mix and we've got a winner.

Emil G.

Yelp
First time last time. Small portions, everything tastes super sweet. The Tom Yum was awful and bland but expensive. Pad Thai was greasy and under seasoned. There are so many better local alternatives there is no reason to order this slop. The 4 dollar side of duck was the only good dish they served. Never again.

Mike B.

Yelp
Great family owned Thai place on North. Fresh ingredients. Dishes come out hot and flavorful. We've enjoyed the kao soi, and pad Thai.
google avatar

Dawn F.

Yelp
The food is very fresh here and tasty, but I am giving 2 stars due to what happened a couple of days ago when I ordered basil eggplant to be delivered to where I work. I asked for brown rice to be substituted for white rice. I understand it costs additional. Other Thai & Chinese restaurants I go to charge $1.00-$1.50 max. for this. Over the phone I was told $2.00 extra & I said ok. When the delivery guy showed up he told me it was $3.30 additional. What a rip off! I did not order the brown rice as an additional item, but as a substitute. If this was a true "additional item" I should have received the white rice that comes with it also. Very disappointed!!
google avatar

Dustin A.

Yelp
Na Siam has been my go-to Thai takeout place now for over a year. I used to exclusively go with Bodhi Thai, but after trying this just once, I was hooked. The owner is super nice when I go in to get the food too. Our topical order is Pad Woon Seen with chicken, Eggplant Basil with Chicken (amazing), and a curry (Panaang seems to be our recent favorite). Couldn't recommended this place more!
google avatar

Jeff B.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and order food from anywhere else but this place. The portions are unbelievably small for the amount of money and has watered down quality. We only ate here because it was close and thought that we give it a chance. we usually go to the Vietnamese place across the street which is amazing. Tried this place based on pictures which were extremely misleading. Very disappointed. I paid $50 to feed a family of 3. Had a $10 "cup" of watered down curry with rice like a peasant. Combination platter consisted of two crab Ragoon two little shrimp in a wonton fried and two other little things, it was smaller than a dollar fry at McDonald's. Place is trash, never again.

Karla V.

Yelp
Extremely bad service!!!!! With Covid-19 affecting us, we decided to support a local business and boy was choosing this one a bad mistake! They did not take our order correctly and when we went back the man tried to argue with us! We drove back to get the correct order and you would figure they would accommodate the inconvenience but instead the man gave us a bad experience. Even when we received the correct order the man was arguing with us. As far as the actual food we got Chicken Pad Thai which had only a few pieces of chicken... We also ordered Thai Tea and they put the cup inside a plastic bag. When we got home all the tea had spilled inside the bag. Needless to say we won't be going back.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Not bad for a first visit. Really friendly staff and helpful with picking vegan options. They also gave me a glass of water while I waited for my take out. Wait wasn't long at all and the food was great! I'll be back for sure.

Stephane T.

Yelp
First time eating here and it was worth it. Food Delicious! Service Excellent! Clean Environment! Coming back very soon. Definitely order for dessert Mango & Sticky rice!
