Boston’s Top Tacos

"At Naco Taco, the chicharron tacos are one-of-a-kind: crispy pork belly is layered over sesame slaw and doused in a garlic-chile-soy sauce with a little cilantro and Sriracha mayo added for good measure. Best eaten on the expansive outdoor patio at their flagship location near MIT." - Celina Colby, Eater Staff

Where to Eat Lunch in Boston

"As the name suggests, Naco Taco specializes in loaded tacos served on (vegan and gluten-free!) corn tortillas made in-house. For lunch, a savory torta served on a toasted bun is also a great option. Naco Taco runs restaurants in Kendall Square, Charlestown, and a permanent food truck at Hynes Convention Center for grab-and-go lunch." - Celina Colby

The service was quick, and the tacos were incredibly delicious. We were lucky to dine in on Taco Tuesday, which offered 3 tacos for $12, a great deal that made the experience even better. The restaurant was quite busy and fast-paced, so the servers didn’t have much time for small talk, which might explain some of the negative reviews we read while dining. Based on our visit, the fast pace seemed more a result of high demand than poor service. Overall, with the quality of food and pricing, there’s really not much to complain about, and I would definitely go back again if I visit the city again.

Google
It sucked that they wouldn’t let us sit outside even though there were ample seats available, warm weather and only 8:30 at night. But ambience inside is still cool. Tamarind margarita with mezcal was awesome, and the street corn did not disappoint! Probably my most fav part of the meal even though it’s an app. Ordered 3 tacos: pescado, camarones and carnitas. I’ve eaten here before but I feel like last night they missed the mark. The pescado is actually a really thick piece of fish - delicious but overshadows the whole taco and not much room for other ingredients. The camarones was beyond spicy, I don’t know what happened I couldn’t eat it. But the carnitas was delicious! Might go back and try their other tacos. I’ve heard good things about their pollo and tofu taco and ceviche. But disappointed last night didn’t go as planned.

Google
My choice of food was wrong. I should've read that I will feel like I'm eating a meadow. My family ordered sweet/spicy corn and it was amazing, unfortunatelly, my plate just didn't have any flavour. Too raw vegetables and the bacon on the side wasn't enough to cover it nor the avocado was salty. Also the high chairs are really hard to sit on.

Google
I used to come here all the time when I lived in Cambridge. But that was about five years ago. I loved loved loved it back then. I’ve gone a few times recently during visits, and it’s not what it used to be. It’s still good! But something is missing. I get the sense. It’s the quality of the ingredients much like other restaurants have suffered post Covid. I will say, there’s smoked tofu taco is by far my favorite vegetarian Taco to date. I was a bit sad to learn that they no longer have encurtidos on the menu.

Google
After we ordered the food came out fast. Drinks were good and the tacos were delicious. Order the street corn and you won’t be disappointed. Gluten free friendly.

We truly enjoyed the taco bowl and quinoa bowl on the lovely porch. Great staff and delicious food — highly recommended!

Google
Okay food and cool location especially with the outdoor seating. The reason I knocked it a star (from my default 4) was my tacos werent incredible- wish they had more other toppings and not just 95% meat (though i appreciate they gave plenty of meat) The tortillas were also soggy and breaking apart when i was eating the tacos. I understand juicy meat will do this but i havent had this issue at other taco places The staff were fine, and the tacos came out very fast (in a few minutes)

Google
Outdoor dining was closed because of lack of staff. Pickled vegetables were the best Gluten-free options were much appreciated. The guacamole is good but the salsas selection was not good at all. They all tasted the same. We get charged $6 for a little thing of salsa to go with our chips and guac.

Yelp
Genuinely can't believe I have lived in central for so long and have only just tried this place. The outdoor seating was amazing and the food was even better. Some of the best street corn i've ever had. The chips and taco shells were so fresh! Drinks were great and the staff was super friendly.

Yelp
There's something about Boston area businesses the more I live here. I'm gonna call it the Cheers effect, because. Basically, when you get to know a place well enough, it starts getting better. Let's be honest with ourselves, Naco Taco isn't the best Naco, nor Taco. It's not the best cocktails. The service...is actually really good, so I'm not gonna complain there. But this place is just really...nice. They have a great patio, enough space inside so it's not cramped like, well, most of Cambridge. And their food and drinks are just quality enough to satisfy. And they've always been accommodating, even when it's crowded, even when I'm bringing in a crew of obnoxious, sweaty runners. That puts them above most other snooty bars in Cambridge. So yeah, the more I go here, the more I like it. Except the chicharrones. Those are always a bad choice.

Yelp
Casual Mexican restaurant at Central Square with seating for large groups up to 12. Good: - pescado corms in crispy tilapia, spicy cabbage and chipotle mayo. Ok: - carnitas slow braised pork with cilantro and pickled red onion

Jee-Hyun S.

Yelp
Mediocre food and drinks, bad service. We ordered the plantains and chips and guac. Two out of the three people in our party were vegetarians and we were taken aback to find a couple chunks of chicharrones in our plantains. There was also a sliver of plastic or paper in our guac. We politely told the server about both issues and she totally shrugged off the meat by saying it's a shared fryer. Nothing was comped (not that we're the type to demand that something be taken off our bill). We were then ignored by the wait staff for over an hour and we had to flag them for the check.

Yelp
I have to say that when I reviewed Naco Taco last it was for take-out for late night tacos, so I had not yet experienced outdoor or indoor seating here. Getting a large group together is inherently difficult, but I was glad that the GM accommodated us for such a busy time (cinco de mayo), and for a group number that ended up fluctuating by a couple at the end. The outdoor patio seating definitely seems more fun and festive- so get seated out there if possible. I let my friends take the lead on the share-ables. Guacamole for both sides of the table, & a pitcher of spicy margaritas was a good call- and we completely finished both. Everyone, for the most part, got tacos. The concise menu helps with deciding. Me and my friend's favorite was the shrimp, which was surprising- I thought the meat tacos were going to be my favorite. The service could have been a little more hands on. People got some additional margaritas and mocktails, and I think that the large order may have led to a little bit of confusion for the waitstaff, but it was no big deal. The only issue my boyfriend was a little frustrated by was how they rushed us out at the end while we were paying and as we were walking out and waiting for a friend to get out of the bathroom.

Yelp
I went here last week for apps and drinks and enjoyed my experience. The interior was pretty funky and it was nice to be able to get a walk in table for 4 no problem (8pm on a Friday night). The seasonal white sangria was excellent. The chips and guac were great as well. The chicken tacos were pretty good. Our server was not very attentive to our table so things moved slow for us. I still enjoyed my experience overall.
google avatar

Ricardo C.

Yelp
One of the better tacos you'll get in Boston/Cambridge. All the tacos options are tasty. They make tortillas and chips in house. Their Chips and Guac is great but every once in a long while the chips are slightly over cooked. But don't let that stop you. Probably happened twice, ever, to me. When you call for take out, usually ready when they said it would be. Thumbs up for sure.
google avatar

Vivian S.

Yelp
They only have a few vegan options: the quinoa salad and the tofu taco taking off the cheese, to name a few. The tofu taco is stuffed to the brim with sticks of super smoky (but otherwise unseasoned) fried tofu, refried beans, and avocado (we subbed avocado for cheese). They're quite filling so 2 is definitely a solid meal. The quinoa salad was kinda small but pretty tasty. Had a unique sweet sour lime cumin flavor that I'd definitely never tasted before, but it was pretty good. Would return if other people wanted to come here as a group, but I definitely wouldn't seek it out as particularly amazing vegan food.

Yelp
I've been here on two accounts randomly and have enjoyed the food I have. One time I came to Cambridge for st pattys and this was the only place that had somewhere for us to eat. Food is really good and the sand which I got last time I devoured in two minutes. I was very hungry at that time but it was good and a very nice kick that I felt later lol. It was me thing my body doesn't agree with spice sometimes. I would go again if I want good food at a good price. The inside is very relaxed and the outdoor seating is very laid back during the summer. Food comes out very quickly which I was shocked about.

Yelp
Since my initial review, I've been back to Naco Taco a bunch of times. I absolutely love their outdoor seating option, especially on a nice evening. The vibes are awesome, with the food truck right next to the tables and lots of string lights. It's also fun to people watch, as people walk to and from Central Square. If you're planning to sit outside especially, I would go ahead and make a reservation through Resy, because it tends to get busy. I'm not as huge on the indoor seating, as it tends to get loud and sometimes you're stuck at the bar if you don't plan in advance. Don't get me wrong, I still love the place, but I've found some of their food offerings to be hit or miss. Definitely start off with the chips and salsa or guac - it's a big portion, good to share. I am a big fan of their torta (there's also an option to get the sandwich filling over shredded veggies instead of on bread). I've been less of a fan of some of their tacos, so I don't think I'd order tacos there again. As for drinks, I love their micheladas! It comes with a beer on the side, so you can pour more beer into the drink as you sip (makes it feel like a never-ending drink)! Still a great spot, but I think there are some better Mexican options in the area (like Felipe's in Harvard Square). Overall, I recommend.

Yelp
Lively atmosphere with a lot of great street food options! The corn is amazing and a little goes a long way. The soft tacos are a little small but are definitely tasty. It's a vibrant place to celebrate birthdays or have a night out due to their selection of drinks/cocktails!

Yelp
the vibes at naco taco are dope! it reminds me of puerto rico. we went around 10:30 on a thursday and there was no wait time. we ordered shrimp tacos and a burrito bowl. they were able to substitute the chipotle aioli with mexican crema. the shrimp tacos were ok. they were generous with the shrimp, but the taco tasted quite bland. more seasoning would've made it perfect! their tacos are gluten free. service was a bit slow, but all the waiters were super friendly. naco taco is perfect for drinks with friends! overall rating: 8/10
google avatar

Emiliana O.

Yelp
The waiters were kind and service was very fast. Chips and guac is insanely overpriced, you could get nachos at mex down the street for the same price. The food was very yummy but i feel like if I'm paying 12$ for 2 tacos they could at least double up on the corn tacos like most restaurants do...

Yelp
Came here on a whim while in the area. Ended up getting dinner and sat outside on the patio, which was fairly nice and had a good vibe. We got the plantain com queso, half size street corn, shrimp and fish tacos and cambalache torta. The street corn came out room temperature in a stone bowl that should have held heat if warmed. The half street corn was just a couple spoonfuls so would definitely recommend the full size if you get the corn. Tacos leaned on the fish and shrimp being fried and the sauce without a strong fish or shrimp flavor. The torta was fine but a little underwhelming, it would have been nice to have a vegetarian or pescatarian option for a torta other than this one as hard boiled eggs would not normally be my protein of choice. In short the place was fine with a nice outdoor area and setup but didn't meet expectations. 2.5 stars overall.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
A pretty casual spot, I came a while back and had a much better experience with the food (service was fine though). This time tried the Pepito Tortas (I prefer a hot sandwich, and cheese was unmelted and bun not toasted so it was an okay sandwich), the Cochinita Tortas (also untoasted), Tamal Verda (was dry and not very good or tasty), and the chips and salsa (really good, probably my favorite item). I think toasting the buns and serving them nice and warm would add so much to the sandwiches. As a former Naco Taco fan, I'm sad to say I'm not sure it would be worth coming here again.

Bonnie K.

Yelp
I finally took the chance to try this busy establishment! I often see it packed both inside and out! Unfortunately the tacos didn't align with the hype. I ordered the three combo tacos. I ordered fish , shrimp and carne and was completely disappointed. The fish and shrimp are simply battered and fried. Zero taste. The cabbage, salsa and sauce all were dull. The service was fine though!

Jacky H.

Yelp
Y'all willingly pay for this place? Craaaaaaaaaaaaazy Food is ok but doesn't match the price. Charging me salsa verde water for 4 bucks for tacos is insane. Highway robbery
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick lunch while walking around Cambridge. It was great! Not crowded at all and the server was friendly and timely. The inside was okay but the outdoor patio looked great. It was a bit too windy to sit outside. We started with chips and guac which were good. Our group had two burrito bowls, tacos and a torta. Would recommend stopping for lunch if in the area!

Yelp
If there's one thing I'm gonna do every time I visit Cambridge, MA, it's make a stop at Naco Taco. One of my favorite restaurants in the Square, Naco Taco doesn't miss when it comes to flavor, flair and amazing service. I've tried the al pastor, chicken, and steak tacos, but my absolute favorite are the Fried Shrimp Tacos. The shrimp is well-seasoned & perfectly crunchy, the cabbage slaw is crisp and refreshing, and the chipotle aioli is the bow that ties everything together. And of course, what's a taco without a margarita? I recommend the Real Paloma (although it could've been stronger!). Is Naco Taco authentic Mexican food? No. And I can't speak for the rest of the menu outside of the tacos. But honestly, I've never had a bad experience here & will always stop by when I'm in town. It's the perfect place to catch a quick bite and a chill vibe, especially on a warm summer day.
google avatar

A G.

Yelp
Good food, Good prices, great ambiance. The tacos are exceptional- the shrimp had a nice crunch and spice to it. The Al pastor pretty solid also. They didn't have the new "Ranch Water" seltzer which was a bummer but all in all I can say that I'll be back.

Yelp
This restaurant seat outdoors and indoors. At night, there are string lights above that give the place a nice ambiance. The service was fast fpr the most part, but the paying process was a little slow. They seated us right away, took our order quickly, and served the food fairly quickly. But when we wanted to pay, it took a really long time to ask someone to bring the check (15-20 min) a really long time to bring the check (5-10 min), and they brought our card back pretty quickly. The food was fairly good. I got 3 tacos ($18) and I chose to get the smoked tofu, fried cod and fried shrimp. The smoked tofu was a little bland. It has refried beans, topped with tofu that was a little crispy on the outside, salsa containing peppers and onion, and a sauce that tasted like tzatziki sauce. It tasted good, but if you eat the other tacos first, this taco will taste extremely bland. The fried shrimp and fried cod were very similar. The only difference was one had a slight shrimp flavor and the other a slight cod flavor. The main flavor you can taste is the fried/oil taste and spicy mayo so these tacos are delicious. The fried shrimp/cod were also very crispy so I thought it tasted good. I would recommend them if you like fried foods! They also have a little bit of coleslaw which adds a bit of a crunch. I was full after finishing the 3 tacos and definitely would have still been hungry if I only got 2. Since it cost $18 with no left overs, I think this place is a little pricy. I think the food is pretty good, but not the best. It's a little pricy and the service time could be variable.

Yelp
We were seated inside on a weekday night pretty quickly; predictably, the outdoor seating was full. Started off with the chips and guac and the lobster bacon street corn. Both were amazing--don't miss the street corn. I got the fried shrimp and chicken tacos, and my partner got the al pastor and fried cod. Normally we try each other's orders, but apparently the al pastor was so good he ate the whole thing before remembering that I hadn't had any . . . so I guess it must've been pretty good. He said the cod one wasn't as good. I think I actually prefer the fried shrimp to the chicken taco. Food came out extremely quickly. We had some leftover chips after the guac, so we took them home, and they were still crispy the next day. The only way it could've been better was if they had horchata. I didn't see it on the menu, but I could've missed it.

Yelp
I first tried Naco Taco at their food truck on Newbury Street a few years ago. Their bistec (steak, cotija cheese, and chimichurri) and chorizo (pork, potatoes, charred chipotle + tomatillo salsa) tacos were my favorites. I was very excited to visit the actual location for the first time a few months ago. I tried every taco they had on the menu except the seafood-based ones and the smoked tofu taco (too dry and plain). Aside from the bistec and chorizo tacos, I really enjoyed the Al Pastor taco! The Al Pastor taco consisted of charbroiled pork & pineapple with onion and cilantro. If you like sweet and savory stuff, you'd like this one! It was perfectly flavorful with a nice amount of sweetness to it. The service was top-notch and super friendly. Every taco came out piping hot, fresh, and brimming with flavor. I had an orange-flavored Jarritos to go along with everything and it was great. I'm looking forward to stopping by sometime to get my favorite tacos again. :- )

Phil S.

Yelp
I went to Naco Taco shortly after they opened. Rather than post a bad review then, I thought I would give them a chance to improve. WRONG! They got worse - MUCH worse. If you've been to Mexico, anywhere near Mexico, or anywhere that has a sizeable Mexican population, you know what good tacos are. You won't find them at Naco Taco. And, just in case you thought 'how bad can they be?', no salsa on the pastor, and it ain't pastor. Ugh. There are many decent taquerias in the metro area; I should have gone to one of them. The only plus: outdoor dining. [btw, "Naco" is pejorative in Mexican slang, means 'poorly educated' or 'in poor taste.']
google avatar

Yelp
Tacos were very good and came on warm tortillas. The service was fairly good despite a couple of issues with our order. The atmosphere was definitely cool, and hip and I enjoyed the lively environment. A great spot to gather with friends for some tacos!

Yelp
As this spot is close to central, I pass it quite often and have been wanting to try it for a while now. We made reservations for a Sunday dinner and we were seated quite quickly. We had a party of 6 and somehow managed tk get the table meant for 10+ so it was very comfortable and we had the corner to ourselves. The staff however was very hard to get ahold of as they didn't check on us that often, but they later explained that they were pretty understaffed. As a result of this, it took 20 minutes for them to take our order and we eventually had to go up to the cashier ourselves to pay. The food itself though was very delicious. The drink was refreshing and really hit the spot on a warm, summer evening while all of the food did not disappoint. We really cleaned out the guac and plantains while the tortas were filling and amazing. The ahogada's pulled pork flavor was very prominent and strong, but I preferred the hawaiana torta as it wasn't as messy ( the ahogada is a bit saucy so eating with your hands was a little difficult ) and the flavors weren't quite as heavy. The pineapple definitely added a good and sweet flavor that complemented the meat well. Both were delicious though and fit different tastes so I'd recommend either! Overall I thought Naco Taco was pretty good. A bit pricey, ( the $5 per taco is what convinced me to get a torta ) but if you're looking for a trendy Mexican restaurant, it definitely fits the bill and is in a convenient location. I hope they staff up soon so their servers aren't as overwhelmed and can give each table enough attention as they need.

Meaghan A.

Yelp
Delicious food for either eating in or delivery. I prefer to eating outside because the vibes inside are quite dark. The corn appetizer is my favorite and great for sharing. The tacos are also delicious, especially the fish taco. Service is solid as well, sometimes it's a bit slower outside than inside, I think that's probably because servers have to travel farther from the kitchen.

Yelp
Well... four years later and I'm updating my review. My little sister's 8th grade graduation brought me to Naco Taco, as she decided she wanted to try this place for dinner. I got the shrimp and cod tacos, and a classic michelada. I got my first round of drinks at the bar. I spent about 3-5 minutes waiting for a server to notice I was new at the bar. 2 women stood there not doing anything, passed by me, and never greeted me. The other gentleman was very kind & asked if I had been served yet. So he made up for the lack of service from the 2 women. (Mind you, the bar wasn't full at all!). As far as food, I was disappointed in the tacos. Corn tortillas, cool, but I was disappointed in the tiny shrimp- the taste & batter was meh. I personally wouldn't come back, being I know plenty of other places that sell tacos better than these, and better service. It's disappointing to write an updated review 4 YEARS later, with the same complaint of service.
google avatar

Yangsoo S.

Yelp
Foods and drinks are great! Only thing that blocks me from giving this place 4 stars is their service. I always had to wait at least 10 minutes to get our server. And their service is always slow whether it is packed or empty. Margaritas here are great, I recommend getting street corn, tacos, plantains con queso.
google avatar

Chris T.

Yelp
We just dined in here and we had a great experience! The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and attentive. My wife ordered a rice bowl and it was a little blander than we expected but besides that all of it was very good. The tortilla chips were some of the best I have ever had. Definitely worth checking out!
google avatar

Sean J.

Yelp
Stopped here along our shopping endeavor in Back Bay. Not that impressed. I ordered the chicken taco, bistec taco, and the street corn. The chicken taco was not good. The smokiness was incredibly overpowering. I didn't even finish it. The bistec was okay, although the chimichurri was a bit watery. The street corn was really the only redeeming item. It was very good. Service wasn't bad and prices are fair. Food just wasn't there for me.
google avatar

Della S.

Yelp
Menu is kind of pricey but I've enjoyed everything I've tried here so far. They have a lot of margaritas to choose from but they only serve pitchers (equivalent to 5 drinks) to parties of 3 or more. Bummer. I love their plantains con queso appetizer ($7). The plantains are super sweet, soft, and crispy on the outside. And they're coated with so much cheese! I felt weird paying $5 for a taco but I wanted to try their tacos. I got the al pastor and fried cod. The al pastor was a little dry but came with a lot of meat. The fried cod was very crispy and flavorful. This isn't really the place to go if you're trying to stuff yourself with tacos (your wallet will hurt too much), but I think their tacos are tasty and worth trying. I don't know about the other tortas but the ahogada (pulled pork, bacon, avocado, cilantro aioli, pickled onions, guajillo chile broth) torta ($13) had to be eaten with a fork and knife! It was very tasty but felt like an overpriced glorified breakfast sandwich. The food tastes great and it's a fun place to hang out! But if you're craving Mexican food there are better (and cheaper) options out there.
google avatar

Yelp
We've been twice in the past week - once dining in and once for take out. Both times, the food was really great. Taco bowl was delicious and the tacos were also terrific. Friendly staff, quick service, good food. We'll be back!
google avatar

Kate S.

Yelp
I tried to find a taco place. This was 2 for $14, which is ridiculously expensive. For the price, there was nothing standout about these tacos to make me go again. Extremely unimpressed by the fried fish tacos and carne I ordered. However, they seated us right away.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
Food: DELICIOUS Tacos. Their chips and guac also AMAZING. Super filling, good portion size, good for splitting w/ friends. Overall their food is amazing. Location: Ok so being in Central Square, this place is like always packed - especially on Friday/weekend nights when like it's a nice summer day and everyone's grabbing drinks with the boiz. It's cute tho.

Yelp
Food was bad, music is bad, lied to us about kid's menu, bathroom was dirty, didn't have Quesadilla on adult menu, 20% tax for HORRIBLE SERVICE, chips where small, chicken was bad,no soap in the bathroom, area is dirty steak was "not ready", 4.5$ for coke, taco was bad.

Nolan S.

Yelp
Yo naco taco sucks. Online says they close at midnight. Wrong! Close at 11pm. They say they go to every table and say last call. Never came to ours. This place sucks, tacos gives you diarrhea. Manager is a retard. Place sucks. You can make a better taco yourself than coming here. Oh my god I'm still on the toilet telling you how bad naco taco is. Taco Bell is better than naco taco. Like any Taco Bell. At least they tell you when they close. Naco taco is trash. Cambridge has waaaay better taco than terrible naco taco that doesn't give you diarrhea and better service. I wish i could give naco taco 0 starts because oh my god trash!
google avatar

Crissy M.

Yelp
I always hit up the Naco Taco truck at the end of Newbury Street, and so I knew to expect good tacos in their main restaurant in Cambridge. I ordered my regular order to go (steak and shrimp taco, along with street corn) and it was equally delicious. Their restaurant is massive, and margaritas look good too.
google avatar

Helen L.

Yelp
I like the food at this place and the tortillas are vegan! I would appreciate if the menu was a little more clearly labeled. I (vegan) went with my friend (GF) and we both were able to enjoy this place! I highly recommend getting a reservation, even on weeknights it can get busy - and definitely sit on the patio if the weather allows!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
I've eaten both at the Kendall Square location and from the food truck on Newbury St. The food is pretty solid, decently fresh and fairly authentic. BUT the portion sizes are pretty small for the cost. Also the customer service at Kendall Square is not the best, usually pretty slow and wait staff isn't very friendly. I always go back for the street corn, but definitely prefer the ease of the food truck more!

Yelp
Holy tasty salsa Verde batman! After dropping off our rental car, we needed to find some grub. We happened across this place and we are so happy we did. The place was busy with people, which is usually a good indicator. We were quickly sat and scanned the qr code to view the menu. We got the chips and salsa that comes with red and green salsa. The salsa Verde was mind blowing delicious. I could eat that all day every day. The street corn was tasty with a slight kick. The tostada was rich and delicious. My boyfriend got the taco bowl with chicken, and he said it was quite good. The portions are wonderful. Definitely the best Mexican food we had while in the Boston/Portland/Salem area.

Yelp
You know how your walking around and have to pee so you go to buy something in a store nearby to justify said bathroom break? Welp. Only reason why we stopped and ate here was to use the bathroom!!! Pleasantly surprised by their chips and salsa. The red and green sauce was REALLY GOOD for no reason while I literally licked the red sauce bowl. The shrimp taco again was good for no in particular reason. All of the items including the sauces had a slight sweet flavor which I will assume is why I liked it all. Outside seating in this pretty huge side alley ish sort of vibe but without the stinky pee stained floors. Light music playing in the background and a ton of street parking.

Yelp
Was craving Mexican food so bad and this place was recommended to me. I also saw it on Tik Tok and knew I had to try it. We made a reservation for the same day online which was nice and easy. We wanted to sit outside on their front patio but it was full so we sat inside which was nice too and had a cool atmosphere. We ordered the spicy margarita, chicken taco, fried shrimp taco, and chips and guac. It was all delicious but the shrimp taco was absolutely delicious, I'm still thinking about it today. I would seriously just go back to order more of the shrimp tacos they were so good. Service was also great and really fast. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Good Mexican food with spacious outdoor seating! I came in a group of six and had a fun time. We ordered a pitcher of white sangria and a pitcher of summer reign. Both drinks were good, but the summer reign was incredibly sweet... Unfortunately I didn't receive a water refill during my entire two hours at the table. Individually, I ordered three fried shrimp tacos and they were fine. The tortillas weren't my favorite, but the shrimp was delicious. (Beware that the chipotle aioli is pretty spicy!) I enjoyed it but didn't expect the stronger than normal tang. Overall, this is a nice place to come for mood lighting on a summer night. I've wandered past Naco Taco for years but this was my first time sitting down. I'm grateful that they have an awning in case it rains too.

Yelp
The food was not great, pretty standard but worse, there was a disgusting hair in my food. I pointed it out to the manager. The empty restaurant should have been warning. Pricey for the preparation and presentation. Consider yourselves warned.

Yelp
Enjoyed the food and quirky atmosphere. Lots of drink choices including a huge variety of Jarritos.

Yelp
Food is really good here, fun ambience for a summer night. Beware though- margaritas were REALLY strong.

Yelp
Tacos, margaritas, and a huge, spacious patio are just about all I need to be happy. Naco Taco covers all these bases (and did I mention just how big that patio is, especially by Cambridge / Boston standards?!). A patio reservation is definitely a good idea if you want to be able to sit outside, especially on a nice summer evening. I've been able to grab indoor seating without reservations in the past, but it still doesn't hurt to have one just in case. Service was pretty solid (there were a couple things where we had to give a friendly reminder about something we were waiting on, but nothing major). Both the house and spicy margaritas were tasty enough that I wouldn't hesitate to order them again (our group got a pitcher of each, and none went wasted...). The two salsas were both pretty sweet (the red one had a slight smoky vibe). Guac was pretty standard... but that's not a bad thing, I'm more than happy with a classic, reliable take on guacamole. For tacos, I got the al pastor and the chorizo - really enjoyed them both, but if I had to pick just one, the chorizo was the winner. But what I actually enjoyed the most all evening was a big bite of my friend's order of plantains with cheese... I hadn't even noticed it on the menu, but oh my gosh, SO good. Basically nachos, but better. I'm sold. Naco Taco and summer nights... a wonderful combination.

Yelp
Delicious drinks, food pretty good. Issue is everything rushes out of kitchen. Had just received apps, ordered tacos and there were out in 2 minutes and cold:( don't mind that the meat is prepared before hand, but when the chicken is cold and the corn tortilla Luke warm it's not great.
