We couldn't be happier with the incredible cake Kelly created for our son's 2nd birthday! We asked for a mallard duck-themed cake, and what she delivered was beyond anything we imagined—absolutely stunning, detailed, and beautifully crafted. It was truly a work of art that became the centerpiece of the party. Not only did the cake look amazing, but it tasted just as incredible—moist, flavorful, and clearly made with the highest quality ingredients. Everyone was raving about it! Kelly was an absolute pleasure to work with—so kind, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. The love and care she put into this cake made our little one’s birthday truly unforgettable. We will absolutely be returning for every special occasion. Thank you, Kelly, for creating something so beautiful and delicious! 💛🦆🎂

TL;DR: We hired Nadia Cakes to do the cupcakes for our wedding. Communication was great, and the cupcakes were DIVINE. We knew we wanted a small cake for us and cupcakes for the guests. We shopped around at a few bakeries and wedding cake specialty shops but Nadia's was our favorite. We scheduled an appointment to go over details. What we wanted wasn't specifically on their menu, but they accomodated us beautifully. We ordered a small vanilla cake with whipped cream frosting and strawberries, cupcakes of the same, a chocolate cupcake with whipped cream and blueberries, and a lemon cupcake with whipped cream and raspberries. We also requested they use a little less frosting since I don't prefer all of the sweetness (sorry!). We cut the cake and did the wedding thing. Cake was a little dry, maybe, but otherwise good. I mentioned wanting to try the other flavors and somebody told me I had better hurry because they were almost gone. Cupcake angels smiled upon me, because there was one lemon and three blueberry left. Maybe smaller than I expected? But They. Were. Perfect. Picture the bride, who snuck back into the dining hall alone, to hide in a corner and indulge in a couple of cupcakes in beautiful silence for three minutes before somebody found me. Bless. Thank you, Nadia Cakes team! Your communication the entire time made me feel very confident in hiring you. The cupcakes were a HIT and unfortunately, there were no leftovers. T^T

I love the brownies and cheesecake cupcakes here. They are so delicious! The brownies are thick and moist, covered with caramel and fudge topped with pieces of candy bars. YES! AMAZING! There is also a very good cookie dough brownie. Please save me some!

We ordered a custom cake for my daughter’s first birthday and it turned out better than I imagined. The decorator Kelly nailed it! They also accommodated my daughter’s allergies to egg and oat. Definitely pricey but you get what you pay for here. Worth every penny!

Google
Moist, flavorful cupcakes and creative flavor combinations. Friendly service and adorable presentation. Every cake tastes great without being overpowering. Cheesecake is a must-try. Highly recommend this place.

Google
Absolutely incredible cupcakes! So many good options: we got the London Fog, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, and Oreo. It was so good.

Google
Very cute bakery. Very demure. Workers were very kind and patient. TONS of sweet options with some creative flavors. Gave it a three because the cupcakes were very intense. It is a personal preference but for me (and friends) there was too much frosting and overall they were too sweet. It was a fun treat but probably won’t go back unless it’s a special occasion. If Nadia cakes reads this we would love to see a fruit flavored cupcake with lighter frosting. Thanks :)

Google
Cute shop in Maple Grove. We stopped in and picked up a chocolate vanilla and cookies and cream cupcake. They both had A LOT of frosting and little cupcake. Cupcake was a little dry for me and the amount of frosting made it pretty sweet. If you like a lot of sugar it’s probably for you!! Worth trying but very rich tasting. Friendly staff!

Yelp
I love Nadia Cakes! I stopped in before book club because we read Say You'll Remember Me so I thought it'd be fun to get the cupcakes for the girls as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find she had themed cupcakes for the book! I got some of those and a few other flavors and everything was great. This wasn't my first time at Nadia's and it won't be my last! They are a little spendy so definitely more of a treat every once in a while but I'm always happy to support small businesses!

Misha Q.

Yelp
Just had to stop by and see the place I had been reading about! We tried 6 different kids, the fresh strawberry was the absolute best! Service was quick, no line while we were there. Best cupcake ever!!

Carley R.

Yelp
My mom and sister were visiting and this was a must try for them while they were here. We went to try the cupcakes during their April fools event. The cupcakes were all super creative and fun. We didn't end up getting any of the April fools ones but the cupcakes we did get were really good. The staff were super nice and helpful explaining the April fools menu. It's a super cute shop and the cupcakes are really cute as well!

Sydney S.

Yelp
What a delicious little cupcake shop! My mom is a librarian in Chicago, after reading Abby Jimenez's most recent book she said she had to come see Nadia Cakes - and I'm so glad she did! We stopped in to try a couple of cupcakes, but they have so many different delicious looking desserts. We went for the wedding cake and chocolate knight, both were delicious. Normally I am a chocolate person, but I absolutely loved how light and delicious the wedding cake was with the strawberry frosting. The chocolate cupcake was also rich and moist. I will definitely be back here to try some more flavors!

Anthony L.

Yelp
The cupcakes were delicious and my family loved them. The service when arriving there was excellent and quick!

Amanda R.

Yelp
Gorgeous and Delicious cup cake shop! I took my friend here on her birthday and totally forgot to take a picture of all the delicious looking cup cakes, but I did take a picture of the Cookie Monster one!

Kim R.

Yelp
Went here for a St Patrick's day themed cupcake and some coffee with a friend. Both were delicious! The atmosphere was great and the workers were super friendly! I can't wait to go back.

Heidi K.

Yelp
Okay....so I have eaten at a lot of places which have been on the food network and most are good, some are bad but a few live up to the hype. This lived up to the hype. Absolutely delicious, tender, a little on the sweet side but I like that....

Yelp
UPDATE: TRIPLE CHOCLOATE: Moist chocolate with good chocolate flavor including the frosting. I will definitely get this one again. I feel like it's hard to get a good chocolate flavor into cakes. and it was a lot better than last time. PEANUT BUTTER CUP: Moist chocolate with good flavor and the peanut butter frosting was great. It was my favorite from the bunch. APPLE CIDER: This was a let down for me but it was okay. I'm particular about the apple cider flavor and it just wasn't there. The flavor was more of a spice cake vs apple cider.  RASPBERRY ALMOND: I've never had this flavor anywhere. I learned that I'm not a fan of the almond flavoring but I think someone who likes this flavor would really like it. CARAMEL APPLE SUCKER: I misread the email.. I was expecting a Caramel Apple cupcake and was quite surprised when I ate this. It tastes just like the sucker. Great flavor of you like the sucker. ORIGINAL POST: The taste is great but the texture and moistness has been off for me. We've had a couple different experiences. Years ago when we first tried them, we thought they were amazing. Flavorful, moist.. left us excited to go back for more (We had the Cheesecake, Salted Caramel, Lemon Drop and Kitty Litter). When we went back the second time, several months later, we had the Salted Caramel and a chocolate one. They were both dry.. had flavor but on the dry side. We were so confused at how there could be such a difference. It seemed like they had been sitting out for awhile. Then we found Nothing Bundt Cakes and that became our #1 spot for cake cravings. While I love them, I was craving something different and decided to give Nadia a try again. I got the Salted Caramel because I loved the filling and flavor the first time. This is my favorite flavor in general and it was so memorable for me the first time I had it at Nadia. Well.. the jury it still out. It was about in the middle of my first 2 experiences. Slightly dry but not as bad as previous and the flavor was present. The frosting was not as soft this time too. They are spendy so it's a tough decision on whether to buy more cupcakes just to see if they'll be that top tier bakery that they promote and once were..

Yelp
It's been a while since we visited nadia cakes but made a repeat visit recently and the cupcakes were just as delicious as when they opened! Nadia cakes has a large variety of flavors available daily as well as some rotating flavors. They also offer special flavors and decorations for all of the holiday. St Patrick's day, thanksgiving "dinner" and the April Fools days cupcakes are some of our favorites! In terms of flavors, the triple chocolate, red velvet, salted caramel and cookies and cream are some of our go to's. And they offer most in gluten free and a few Keto friendly options as well. Service is always friendly and the space is so cute with planets of seating for those that choose to enjoy their cupcakes at the shop. If you need treats for a special occasion or just because, nadia cakes is a perfect option.

Nicole N.

Yelp
Super cute vibes, DELICIOUS cupcakes and treats, friendly service what's not to love!? Absolutely give this place a try! This is my now favorite cupcake place!! This place is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. When you walk in, you immediately get such fun vibes! I love how they display their cupcakes! The hardest part is picking which flavors you want to try!! I was going to go through the flavors I tried but here's the deal, they were all AMAZING and I suspect all the other flavors are also sooo good! The cake is slightly coarse but pairs well with the smooth frosting! I was given plenty of time to pick the different treats to try and the service was very friendly! There is a little seating here and some drink options as well! This definitely has cafe vibes and would be so fun to meet up with a friend to chat and enjoy a treat! I love being able to support local businesses and I will happily be back!!

Jim B.

Yelp
Hands down. The best cup cakes we have ever had!!! We get them every year for our customer appreciation Halloween Party and they are usually gone in the first 20 minutes!

Boogie D.

Yelp
Everything was perfect and beautiful! I cannot believe how nice the cake turned out. It was really just perfect. Thank you so much! It was all delicious too. I was excited for people to try your cupcakes because they are the best I've ever had.

Vanessa M.

Yelp
My friend and I loved going to Nadia Cakes and we were very pleased with our selections! The cupcakes taste so yummy and fulfill our sweet tooths! The workers are very polite, helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! There is plenty of seating, very clean and cute decorations very good for photo opportunities! They have different flavors each week and have lots of good options! My favorite was the Pretty in Pink cupcake which is an almond cherry cake it tasted so light, fluffy and delicious I also love how cute the cupcakes are and how unique the decorations are on the cupcakes! They also have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options! I am so glad we got to try it!

YiQing G.

Yelp
Love love love Nadia cakes. They made my wedding cakes and the wedding cupcakes. And we stop by nadia cakes a lot on the way home (I would take a star off because it is just too convenient for me to go). Their frosting has the perfect level of sweetness and you have lots of choice to pick from. They also offer featured flavors each months or seasons. The shop is also very cute and fun to stop by during a busy day to relax with some yummy treats.

Cindy V.

Yelp
Came here specifically to get the berry fusion. We were helped by an older lady. She didn't seem happy. Our total was $20.50, I didn't have change so I gave her $40. I was talking to my son because he wanted to stop at another store so I didn't stand there and count my change when she handed it to me. When I got in the car and started to drive off I had my oldest daughter put my money in my wallet, turns out I was only given $19. She kept the 50 cents. Some might say it's just small change but it's the principle. We come here a lot. Love their cupcakes but after this I will be going somewhere else. I also didn't get a "carry tape" like they always do for the cupcakes.

Lisa R.

Yelp
This place was adorable and service was fabulous. We visited on April Fool's day and we're very impressed with their amazing spread of trickery. I enjoyed my GF chocolate cupcake with salted caramel frosting. My daughter enjoyed her strawberry cupcake, might have had cheesecake frosting. Chai latte was too sugary for my taste but their Americano was lovely. We will definitely return on a non-ho

Julie W.

Yelp
Sooo delicious!! The cupcakes are out of this world Wonderful!! It's a special treat to travel for.

Anya L.

Yelp
I have come here a few times, most recently, for the April Fool's event where they had silly cupcakes. We got 6 cupcakes, and I only ended up liking the chocolate donut cupcake. The chewed up bubblegum cupcake was too sweet, and the cupcake itself was pretty dry. The unicorn poop cupcake was the same, and the decorative pearls on the top were really hard; I couldn't even bite into them. Other than that, I really liked the staff and the inside of the store. I would just say that the cupcakes are pretty expensive, but I understand they're specialty cupcakes.

Yelp
Nadia Cakes is a delicious sweet treat that hits the spot and is for everyone. The make amazingly rich cupcakes and cakes to even keto and gluten free ones as well. They have won multiple awards and even won a couple TV show competitions for how good those desserts are. This is definitely one dessert shop you don't want to miss! Store: The store itself is located in the Fountains area of Maple Grove. It's an easy store to find since it's a corner shop and there is a parking lot behind the building as well as street parking available. Once you've parked you can enter the building from a front or back entrance to be wherever you parked. Inside Nadia's is a colorful, fun, charming, and inviting atmosphere. There's multiple huge display cases for the desserts they offer, very good lighting, rewards on the walls, fun large menus, and many more. They definitely have down this fancy it helps amplify your mood to make you ready for some delicious desserts. After you make you decision you have the option to take it with you or sit for a while in their cute lounge area. This is totally a place you and your family could spend some time having a delicious dessert. Staff: This is another huge highlight to Nadia Cakes. Everytime we have been here the staff has been helpful, nice, and eager to work. They don't get annoyed when you ask them questions and they genuinely seem happy to work at this location. We have even called and asked what they have and they have been nice on the phone. We have put special orders in and everytime we get treated with respect and a good experience! Food: Now this is why you go to Nadia Cakes. There's a reason they have won multiple cooking TV shows, the desserts are AWESOME! The cookies are amazing, the cupcakes are amazing, the icecream is amazing, and the cakes are amazing! We have tried at least a dozen different flavors that they have and each one is a work a delicious wonder just on its own. There hasn't been a flavor that has been disappointing so you really can't go wrong! One of the best things is that they offer keto and gluten free desserts as well. We have tried those and they are actually just as delicious as the normal cakes! We have never had a keto dessert taste as good as one of Nadia's. Overall: In the end if you're looking for a sweet treat that's going to be delicious, elegant, indulgent and affordable, you definitely need to go to Nadia Cakes. We have never been dissatisfied here and I think you'll have a great experience!

Amy Y.

Yelp
Not going to lie, I love Abby Jimenez and have read all of her books. Of course, I had to try Nadia Cakes. When you walk in, don't be surprised if you're overwhelmed by the sheer volume of cupcakes - it's such a beautiful sight! I appreciate the served behind the counter for her patience as I tried to decide what to get! My Top Three Picks Are: *Strawberry Cupcake - I was transported back to my childhood in a bite. I grew up eating strawberry cake, and this just absolutely transported me. Not overly sweet and hints of strawberry come out. Just so good and the perfect summer treat! *Red Velvet - Bottom line, you can't go wrong with this classic. *Chocolate Knight - Another classic cupcake that doesn't disappoint! I also love dark chocolate and this definitely fulfilled my craving.

Anushka M.

Yelp
Some of my favorite cupcakes come from Nadia Cakes! Love coming in and seeing the flavors they have each week. I usually always go with an Oreo or peanut butter flavor and then a classic like chocolate or vanilla. The decorations are beautiful, and the cupcakes itself are so moist and delicious. I always have to end up getting at least 4 cupcakes just to try them all. Employees are always really friendly and helpful. The price is also pretty reasonable in my opinion. The effort that goes into making these really shows. Can't wait to see their new flavors!

Julie B.

Yelp
I've never met a cupcakes I didn't like. And Nadia is what I judge all cupcakes to. I spotted in on a weeknight just before closing so there was no waiting. But on a weekend it's not unusual to have the line out the door. The line tends to stay organized due to the iron railing. However, it can get chaotic once inside, looking at all the options when there's people in the way. I've been her multiple times and staff has always been friendly and helpful. Sometimes I see they are hosting a birthday party in their side kitchen (near the parking lot entrance) for kiddos. That looks like fun. Plenty of parking in the rear. But getting out of the parking lot did require patience due to the Costco traffic and the amount of traffic congestion due to the Fountsins Dr/Elk Creek stoplights.

Amy J.

Yelp
Look NO further if you want delicious cupcakes! We have been going to Nadias since they first opened. We have picked up cupcakes for many occasions and have NEVER been disappointed. My personal favorite is the lemon cupcake! There are other cupcake shops nearby that don't even come close. Nadias is the real deal!! Don't think twice about stopping here!

Lisa B.

Yelp
I love this place! I have many favs, lemon drop and wedding cake are just two of them. The customer service staff is always polite and professional. My family from out of state always wants to visit and get holiday themed cupcakes. Highly recommend!

Carmen J.

Yelp
Friendly happy place with deliciously divine cupcakes The shop is so cute filled with beautiful cupcakes I dropped in the other day and I got their strawberry. Oh my goodness, so good and they're pink with the raspberry. Yum. I'll be back

Kayla L.

Yelp
Never disappointed here! Every flavor is amazing! Beautiful cupcakes and so delicious. Great vegan and gluten free options as well! Can't go wrong with any flavors, but my favorites are strawberry, brownie, and peanut butter!

Liz P.

Yelp
Saw their April Fools event and had to try out the fun cupcake and goodies they had! Due to the pandemic, it was curbside pre-order pickup. Called and placed my order over the phone in advance earlier yesterday. Service was fast, friendly and easy! Ordered the Snow Cone cupcakes, Ramen cupcakes, Chocolate Donut cupcakes and hamburger Whoopie pie. All were delicious and fun! Will have to try other items next time....

Amy P.

Yelp
Visited Nadia's on a Saturday afternoon. They have a lovely little table set outside with their full menu (pictures included). They also have stickers on the ground for you to space out 6ft apart. My mom ordered their Strawberry Lemonade while my brother and I both got the Award Winning Cheesecake. They didn't have any tables, so we sat on a grassy spot near the shop. My mom loved her cupcake and my brother really enjoyed the cheesecake. I'm a knob and didn't realize this was a cheesecake (I was really in the mood for a cupcake) and that's obviously not their fault. It was still good, but can't wait to get back so I can try a cupcake!

Rachel H.

Yelp
This is a cupcake staple. After winning cupcake wars this place became almost a tourist trap. Lines down the block despite it being freezing cold outside. Once inside your kind of shuffled along the cupcake line not giving you a lot of time to look at the options. I will say staff are typically friendly and helpful when answering questions. My go to cupcake is the red velvet with cream cheese frosting, again a total staple and delicious option. Another good option is the chocolate peanut butter cupcake and the lemon cupcake. Sometimes if you are lucky you can find a pack of cupcakes that are discounted. I think these are leftovers from the day before, but they're still just as good. My main issue is how expensive these cupcakes are in comparison to their size. Having lived in California and accessed sprinkles cupcakes all the time I was a little disappointed to see how small the cupcake was here for how much they charge. I don't think I would continue to come here on the regular, maybe once in a blue moon. If you have never been I would recommend checking it out, just make sure you know you're going to pay about four dollars per cupcake.

Lindsay S.

Yelp
Tasty!! These were perfect for a special treat for St Patrick's day. They are a little spendier (6 for 19.50) but the ingredients seem to be nice quality. I prefer Nadia Cakes to Nothing Bundt Cakes! FYI... The parking lot is a little confusing if it's your first time visiting. There is no parking on the main street but around back. You can enter in the front or by the parking in back. Cupcakes we tried: Brownie cupcake: tastes like a brownie! No filling. Rainbow cupcakes (St Patrick's): marshmallow fluff inside... amazing!!! The rainbow gummy was a perfect touch. Bailey's cupcake (St Patrick's): yummm and boozy! It had a chocolatey goo inside that was so good. Grasshopper (mint chocolate): super rich and perfect for after dinner. Chocolate mint goo inside elevated the flavor. These were great. I'm looking forward to trying the Reese's and Oreo cupcakes one day. See you again Nadia Cakes!

Aleah H.

Yelp
It's always a treat when I find an excuse to order Nadia Cakes! I have tried custom orders, their fun creations, and a few classics, and they are all amazing!! A few of my favorites are chocolate knight, red velvet, and honey lavender, but you can't go wrong! The cupcakes a little more expensive than average to reflect their quality and the fair treatment of employees, but it's worth it for a tasty birthday/holiday/just because treat! They also have a $2 cupcake sale once or twice a year! I've managed to have an order pick up scheduled during a snow storm a few times, and communication about closures is always clear, accommodating, and with plenty of notice!

Emily P.

Yelp
I saw my review from years ago and figured it was time for an update as we've now gone a few times recently! First off, the variety there are so many different flavor cupcakes/ cakes that there's something for everyone. And for those gluten free/gluten conscious/keto friends, there are OPTIONS for you too!! That's right, options, more than just one to pick from which is awesome. My husband and I were keto last time we went, and even though we aren't keto anymore, we still eat the keto chocolate chip cookies because they taste like a real treat!! Pro tip- you can call and request they make them fresh, you will not regret it, when they are warm they are absolutely delicious!! Now, as I mentioned we're no longer keto so we've been trying some of the other options. My husband surprised me with a honey lavender cupcake and let me tell you, it was hands down the best cupcake I've ever eaten. I'm a huge fan of tea/ lavender flavors and this cupcake was so light, so fresh and the perfect amount of lavender. I didn't realize it was limited time and wish we went back and got 10 more! We also got the salted caramel, chocolate vanilla (highly recommend if your not a fan of cream cheese frosting), and the cookies and cream. All were very fresh, cake tasted light and moist, exactly what you want from a cupcake. A few of them had a little more frosting than I'd prefer, but my husband happily ate what I didn't. The store itself is pretty small, but they make good use of the space and when you walk in you can see the large array of what's available which is so fun! Service has always been great for us. And this was showcased when we had an issue. We bought a cake and brought it home, cut into it and while the frosting was amazing, the cake itself tasted wrong. It was kind of dry and sandy, almost as if something had gone wrong during baking. This had been a spur of the moment buy so thankfully we hadn't needed it for an event or anything. But I called the store to let them know what happened and the woman who helped us was beyond helpful and professional. We offered to bring it back so they could see and she said that wouldn't be necessary, and offered us a new cake, store credit or a refund. We opted for a refund since we didn't need a cake but went back the next day to spend it on more cupcakes. And even more recently my husband surprised me with the bouquet cake for Valentine's Day! I was a little nervous it being another cake, but this time the cake was perfect- ot looked gorgeous, and the cake was soft and the frosting tasted perfect. It had the right balance of chocolate and sweet frosting, even our daughter was enjoying it! All that to say, we much prefer Nadia's to other dessert places around here, they have tons of options and the desserts are so cute and so well made.

Kathy P.

Yelp
I am very tough to please when it comes to cakes/cupcakes because I enjoy baking. If I am going to spend money on desserts it better be good. We decided to stop at Nadia's today as I haven't been baking lately. The shop is cute, the staff was super friendly and better yet every cupcake we purchased was delicious.

Hayleebean N.

Yelp
The shop is a cute little bakery in Maple Grove MN and is pretty with bright colors and cute decorations. The owner herself works the counter as well as does the baking and she is a wonderful woman. The other attendants are amazing as well. Now food, I haven't tried everything there but I have tried their keto options and let me tell you the price is worth it. To have keto cupcakes that taste better then regular cupcakes is awesome. So definitely check this place out!

Terri B.

Yelp
I waited forever to get through the line. And then the cupcake frosting was way too sweet. The cake also had a funky-bad taste

Tushar A.

Yelp
Can't stop coming here again and again. I think I m ready to declare this as the best Cup cake shop ever. Love their cupcake of the day ideas, which by the way includes several flavors. Hands down the best cupcake that they have is still the Cheesecake (not really a cupcake now). It's yummy and creamy and perfect amount of sweetness to it. The ambience is always busy and the service is pretty good. There is enough parking available on the back side, which actually is their front side. Secret to save money - try the 4/12 If you wanna further save money, ask for their rejects, which are nothing different but sole weird shaped cupcakes, ultimately taste is still the same. I love this place and keep coming back for it, may be I do have a sweet tooth that my wife keeps hinting at

Zoe C.

Yelp
I had never been to Nadia Cakes before but I heard a lot about them over the years. I had very high, excited expectations but they ended up crashing. In my opinion, the most important aspect to a business is customer service. I had some clarifying questions about their Keto and GF options, but I felt rushed by the cashier to make a decision. They were short and hasty with me. I don't appreciate the lack of respect toward a customer. Extremely unprofessional. I do think some of their prices are reasonable for fancy cupcakes, but the mini Keto Almond cupcake was smaller than I expected and tasted old. It was dried out and the sliced almonds on top were rubbery. $2.50+ isn't worth it. I also had the Pretty in Pink GF. It smelt lovely and it was moist, but it was plain in flavor. I left the parking lot disappointed. It wasn't a great first experience but I am will to try them again at another time.

Jen H.

Yelp
The workers are super kind. The cupcakes were amazing! We sat and ate comfortably. It's a hard place to leave

Abhijit B.

Yelp
Got a birthday cake from here last week, and was very disappointed with it. The cake was very hard and stayed hard even after taking it out of the fridge after a few hours . Not coming back here again. Also , the cake is not 'cheap' . Whole food cakes cost less and are honest way better to taste

Candice A.

Yelp
Service is great. Inside is very clean and beautiful. The cupcakes are super delicious matter-of-fact thanks to yelp for the reminder of this place. I'll be getting some cupcakes very soon. They have a great selection of herbal teas. I highly recommend this establishment.

Melissa B.

Yelp
Always the best quality. Delicious cupcakes - insider tip can even buy "shots" of your favorite frosting without the cupcakes!

Kathryn V.

Yelp
Never again, Nadia! Came in for an afternoon sweet treat. My husband had a lemon drop cupcake, based on the raves of the staff and I chose the gluten free lemon drop, as I have celiac. We also split the GF raspberry almond cupcake. All three were just bad! The GF cakes were dry and crumbly and the icing on all three tasted like plastic. It's clear low quality ingredients are used in your recipes. For $6 per GF cupcake and $4.25 for regular cupcake, I expected better. Chain grocery store cupcakes have a better taste at a much lower cost! We won't be back.

Danielle R.

Yelp
Love Nadia cakes. Nothing bad to say about this shop or the cupcakes. My favorite feature on the site is how it shows the flavors of the day. That's how I know if I should make a pit stop if I'm traveling. My absolute favorite flavor is the sweet potato banana avocado cupcake. Yum. I also love how the staff is always so friendly and welcoming. They also give back to the community and their employees. Definitely worth a stop or two or three. Their cupcakes are not only good but their monster cookies are amazing. Highly recommended.

Déjà J.

Yelp
Cute Cake & ice cream shop! Went in for the "Unicorn Poop" event. The cute little themes they had were cool. Ended up spending way more than planned but I just had to have everything I got. I ordered the *Nachos *Spaghetti & meatball *Stained Glass *Sherbet *Unicorn horn (large) * 2 Taco cookies I previously tried their sushi & ramen cupcakes at a party! Very cute & tasty! Although they were all good, my favorite was the sherbet! The line was almost out the door when we arrived but we were able to get in and out within 10-15 minutes. I thought the line moved pretty fast. I've been here before on a regular day & also enjoyed the ice cream. The staff were fast & hard working to keep the line moving. I appreciate that. On non event days they are usually more patient & friendly. I would for sure go back and try more desserts during some of the other themes they host over the year.

Yelp
Ok, to preface this, I've always been a fan of Nadia Cakes; even before I knew of Abby and the numerous Food Network wins (and her amazing writing career). I don't often go in person to the store because I have a husband I can send with my cupcake order, so why would I put on pants? This time was different though. My sister was in town from Michigan and I told her about this amazing cupcake shop that we had to go to. We had just gotten done visiting our dad, which is always a stressful and emotional experience, so this was well-deserved! The drive from dad's to the cupcake shop was, in itself, stressful, because I had just finished a huge Caribou iced chai and had to pee so bad. Like, SO BAD. I should also mention that I was four months pregnant so there's literally a tiny baby sitting on my bladder at all times. When we got to the parking lot of Nadia Cakes, I discussed with my sister the places around that would let me use their restroom. Most places had a sign saying their restrooms were closed due to Covid. We reasoned that we'll just go to Nadia's as planned and ask. What's the worst that could happen? Well...I could pee my dang pants in their shop. But we're also buying cupcakes so maybe they'd forgive me. So with absolute agony in my eyes, I asked the girl working if I could please use their restroom, that I'm super pregnant, and I would be eternally grateful. She asked, I assume, a manager who said it was ok, and she granted me access. I could have cried I was so happy. I can't express my gratitude enough. They did not have to say yes, but I am eternally grateful they did. Abby, did you ever think you'd get a 5 star review because someone used your restroom? Here ya go. There's a first time for everything. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the girl working. It was on Friday, February 26th around 2pm if that helps. She deserves serious props, and we displayed our gratitude with 20% tips on both of our orders. If by chance you've gotten this far in this review - their cupcakes are also amazing. So if you're not going there for an emergency bathroom break, buy some cupcakes. Buy all the cupcakes. Seriously. They're worth it. Oh, and don't forget the books - The Friend Zone, The Happy Ever After Playlist and Life's Too Short. There's literally nothing in this shop you'd go wrong with buying. I'm not even kidding.

Yelp
Ive been here twice and love their wedding cake cupcake! I like how the cream isn't too sweet le buttercream but has the nice thick texture like it! But honestly i can't decide enough one I like the most and my kids can't either! Hahaha The place is nice and clean and really fast in serving so you're not waiting in line for too long. They also have cupcakes for your little furry friends as well! My puppy lives them and she's had no digestive problems from eating them so far! I definitely recommend this place for a treat for you, your friends, loved ones, and if course your little pups!

Yelp
I've been want to stop here for years but have never made it up to Maple Grove but I finally went! Boy was it worth the drive. The line was to the door. Once inside the bakery was magical as you can imagine (I mean unicorns do live here...ya know) full of beautifully decorated cupcakes, unicorns, ice cream, cakes and cheery people. I got an assortment to try but my favorite was the stain glass, which tastes like blue jolly rancher.

Yelp
Of course everyone in Minneapolis has heard of Nadia Cakes, aka food network cupcake war stars, but I had never actually stopped in for a cupcake before. Usually the lines are long and I'm in a rush to just get in and out of Costco without buying everything in sight. They held their annual $2/cupcakes and figured it would be the perfect time to come in, try a few of the beautifully crafted tasty treats and see if they live up to the hype. Oh my goodness did they beat all expectations!! The cupcakes were so wonderfully moist, full of flavor, and delicious frosting! We bought a dozen and shared them with my family but I secretly wanted them all to myself. So perfect in every way and they actually kept for a few days too which was great since they're super rich, as much as you want to shove your face and eat them all in one sitting-- share the love, spread the joy, and spare your waistline :p
