"The traditional Italian restaurant features chef Giorgio Corletti’s family recipes incorporated with the kitchen experience he picked up in Michelin-starred restaurants in Rome. Pasta dishes, like gnocchi asiago truffle, have add-on options like burrata and crispy prosciutto. Cap off the meal with a Nado gelato from next door." - Helen I. Hwang

We loved the sourdough bread with the truffle butter it was so good! We got ravioli / spaghetti/ rigatoni and the pasta was delicious. Nice handmade pasta cooked perfectly. The sauces were light and not too heavy. Seasoned well. The restaurant is really cute as well. Our server is as soooo nice too.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The entire staff was kind, friendly and lovely. I will dream about the food — we got bread, truffle butter, Brussels, a pizza, I got the gnocchi and my husband got the lasagna. Everything was just delicious.

Love the ambiance of this place, extremely unique. It’s a fun time just sitting down to eat. All of the little details from the antique book they place the check in to the spinning disco ball above, make for a great atmosphere. Not only that, but the service is great. My waiter, Luciano, was an incredible gentleman who was very personable. I’ve never had a waiter shake my hand and ask about me like he had. On top of that, the food was delicious. Highly recommend pretty much anything on the menu. Also, the birthday celebration they have is so awesome. I’ve never been to a restaurant that had so many fun things provided on a birthday. They had a sign, sparkler, music, and the whole thing. Made for an amazing birthday dinner. They even came with a round of limoncello on the house. I’ll be back 👍

I had a fantastic meal at Nado Republic in Coronado. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere and the staff was very attentive. The pasta with pesto and burrata and the margherita pizza were both excellent, and the affogato was sublime. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit for Italian food lovers.

Best lasagna in San Diego! The house bread is made from an authentic Italian recipe, and the service is top-notch. A must-visit for Italian food lovers!

What a vibe! Nado Republic was such a treat. I just got back from Italy and was already missing the authentic Italian food. Giorgio, the chef is from Rome and you could really taste the authenticity of the food! Our group came here as part of a retreat and they were so incredibly hospitable, the food was incredible, and the vibe was just so vibey! Will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing! The food is seriously great, and the vibe is super fun. It’s the perfect spot for a date night or just hanging out with friends. Coronado is so beautiful. Grabbing dinner here before walking around just makes the whole night even better.

The food is standout to me, and the service is on point. I can tell the pasta and gnocchi are made fresh–so much better than most of the places in Little Italy! Wish we didn't have to pay for water and bread, but this is now my favorite Italian spot in San Diego, so it's ok.
