"I learned that new arrival Naf Naf Grill is also fine-tuning its operation and, according to QSR, is now going by Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill to help distinguish itself from competitors." - Warren Rojas

I absolutely love Naf Naf Grill! This Middle Eastern fast-casual spot delivers bold, authentic flavors in every bite. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made to order. The chicken shawarma is perfectly seasoned, and the steak is incredibly tender. Their warm pita bread is fluffy and fresh—truly next level! The build-your-own bowl or pita format makes it easy to customize, and the toppings bar (especially the garlic sauce, pickles, and sumac onions) takes everything up a notch. Vegetarian options like falafel are also top quality—crispy on the outside, soft and savory inside. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, fast, and helpful, even during busy hours. Great portion sizes, reasonable pricing, and consistently great service make this my go-to spot for a flavorful, satisfying meal. Highly recommend Naf Naf Grill to anyone looking for a quick and delicious Middle Eastern meal!

Google
Food was great as always and I now have an obsession with their fries. The young lady at the register was kind and patient with my friends and I! I want to shout out Bonnie for her exceptional customer service. Bonnie handled my food order and was very kind. She ran outside when she realized I had forgotten a part of my order on the counter, and I was about to drive away in my car! Most restaurants wouldn’t bother to go that extra mile, so to know that Nafs Nafs employees like Bonnie are more than happy to go that extra mile, you know you can always count on great service as well as great food!

Google
I love this place. Whenever I am in the area, this is where I go. Delicious, fresh, good quality food and options. I get a bowl with lettuce hummus and falafels. I tried the lentil soup for the first time too and it was delicious! If you want a tasty, quick meal- this is a great for dine in or delivery!

Google
The atmosphere was warm and modern, with a relaxed vibe. The food was fresh, flavorful. However, I did feel that the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. Still, the quality and taste made up for it, and I would happily go back for a casual lunch with friends.

Google
During my trip to Indy, I tried the chicken shawarma plate at Naf Naf, and it was exceptionally flavorful and a great value for the money. The chicken was well-seasoned and tender, accompanied by a variety of fresh chopped salad, hummus, and pita bread. The portion size was satisfying, making it one of the best meals I've had.

Abubakr F.

Google
I recently ordered a Chicken Shawarma bowl that included rice, sauce, and vegetables. While the meal was flavorful, I found that the portion of chicken provided was disproportionately small given the overall cost of the dish. A more substantial protein serving would better align the value of the meal with its price.

Google
Victoria and Kiley were amazing!! Will definitely return!! Upon entry I was greeted with a friendly introduction from Victoria who helped start my order. Considering I was unfamiliar with the cuisine, Victoria started me off with some exciting recommendations and Kiley excitingly chimed in and suggested some great options as well after graciously finishing up w/ another customer. Their suggestions were SPOT on!! The fresh cooked steak was amazing! The customer service, the quality of the food, and the knowledge from these ladies made for a great experience I will not forget!! Great energy and great food!! Thanks again!

Google
Great place for a fresh customizable option. Staff was more than happy to help me navigate their different selections. You can’t not get the garlic. The staff said their sauces are made fresh in house and I believe it! Fresh flavors in every bite.

Russ N.

Yelp
Absolutely STunned by the offerings. Fresh Properly Seasoned Plentiful Many Options Nice Staff And yes the food taste as it should. Will be returning.

Yelp
Naf Naf Grill was catered for us at a job I previously worked, and I loved the food so much that I had to stop in to the actual restaurant. The food is just as delicious in person. The food was fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Just wanted to shout out the staff. I ordered through GrubHub and the order got picked up minus one entree. However they called me immediately to let me know and even called GrubHub to get them to do a refund. Above and beyond service for sure!! This time I tried a few new things including the couscous and spicy hummus. Both were delicious, so you pretty much can't go wrong with any of the menu items.

Yelp
I've been here a decent amount of times since they opened. Quality has always been "okay" but damn. Tonight the chicken was dry and flavorless, they didn't give me enough sauces as ordered... The people who work there are VERY nice and I've never had an issue with them. But management has got to step up on the food quality.

Yelp
Food was fresh and very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. This place is definitely Worth a visit.

Yelp
Getting some dinner to take with for the night shift! We had a wonderful experience at this Naf Naf location! All of the staff members were kind and patient as we built our meals. Ms. B even offered us a taste of the falafel which was surprisingly as fresh and delicious as all of the rest of the ingredients. Can definitely speak for us that it is a fair price for a nice dinner that reflects how you care for your insides. At about $12 you can build your own bowl/pita/plate. There are things that cost extra, but it's not necessary to include those additions to taste all that Naf Naf has to offer. (: 08-08-2024

Yelp
So good! Came by for lunch and for $16 I got a loaded pita with chicken, fries and baklava! The pita is made to order and made your way so you can add and sub items as you desire. I don't know what they put in those fry chips but it's heaven!!! I couldn't get enough! Baklava is one of my favorite desserts and this spot doesn't disappoint! I flavors were sweet, crispy, buttery and nutty. Perfect way to end the meal. The line moved quickly so we were able to get in and out easily during the lunch rush. I'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
This is one of my favorite go to restaurants! They have delicious gluten free options that are filling and taste like real food! The staff was kind and helpful as I was navigating what was gluten free. This restaurant is very casual and low key.

Yelp
Decided to try NAF NAF today and I'm glad I did. Entering the building the ambiance was very welcoming. I got a kids bowl just to try. I had rice with the shwarma chicken and mixed salad with the nafziki and garlic sauce. It was really clean and fresh and tasty. The service was great and they were really helpful. I've never had falafel and they let try one and it was amazing eap dipped in my garlic sauce. I don't eat alot of bread but even the pita was warm soft and buttery, I ate it all. Definitely will try again and Definitely getting falafel again.

Yelp
The addition of a Naf Naf to Indianapolis during my last year of college back in 2020/2021 was really exciting. I had already been to several locations back in the Chicago area, so I knew it was delicious. Since I no longer live in the downtown area, I don't go very often. However, I was already in that area for something else so I knew it was the perfect opportunity to give it another try. My go-to order is a rice bowl with steak. I always get all the veggie toppings (red cabbage, cucumber and tomato salad, onions, tabouli, and pickles). Sometimes I get a scoop of hummus too depending on how hungry I am. I finish it with the spicy green sauce and a side of garlic sauce. I understand that this combination is not the healthiest Mediterranean combination, but it's certainly the most delicious. This time, I swapped out the rice and got couscous instead. I also didn't get the garlic sauce, and instead, I tried their newer cucumber sauce. I also didn't get hummus this time. I'm not sure if it was an upcharge when they first opened, but it is now. I said okay to the side of pita that it comes with, but I didn't end up eating it since I was already pretty full. I like their pita, but it's never my main priority when eating there. I took my meal home which is about a 15-minute drive. It was still pretty warm when I got home thankfully. My one complaint was that the steak was chewy, but everything else was super tasty! I did end up giving a lot of my steak to my fiance (who also got a steak bowl). But only because I was getting pretty full. I would definitely come back to this location as often as I could. Since it's in a busy part of downtown, I do not come often.

Yelp
Excellent place for a quick healthy middle eastern meal. Located in the IUPUI area off Indiana and 10th street. I ordered the plate and you can build your own meal. The plate is $2 more but you get way more than the bowl. Order the plate! Duh:) I had rice, couscous, veggie, humus, chicken and Falafel. You can choose your own sauce. Get the Harrisa sauce if you like Spice! Also comes with fresh pita-yummy. The pickled veggies are super delicious. Great food at a great price and super friendly staff. So good-I'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I love this place! They never disappoint! The food is full of flavor and best of all it's healthy for you. 10/10 recommend.

Yelp
This was my first time eating Middle Eastern cuisine and I LOVE IT! I wish I had not waited so long. The chicken shawarma is to die for. I had the pita filed with chicken, regular hummus, Raftiki sauce (think cucumber ranch), and their tomato, cumber and cilantro salad. It was delish! My hubby got the pita with chicken, but got the spicy hummus, and tahini sauce. He also got an order of fries. Those fries are homemade and taste amazing. They also gave us the lemon sauce to try and it was mind blowing. The staff was incredibly nice and courteous. They were patient and answered all of our questions and we did not feel rushed at all. They offered great advise for first timers. The building was very clean and nice. You really cannot go wrong here. I would have taken pictures, but I ate the whole thing before I thought about it!

Yelp
This is now on my list of favorite lunch places. Their pita bread is epic and I always buy a bunch. Their falafel is also good, like hush puppies but way better. The ingredients are all fresh and tasty. I've only ordered delivery so I can't write about the cafe itself or their staff, but when I'm in the neighborhood I'll be sure stop by because I want Naf Naf Grill to be around for a long time.

Yelp
Great food and even better service. Kendrick explained the menu to us and was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 service, would come again

Yelp
Thank you to D, Rowan, and Kylie for the excellent customer service! D greeted me and made my order, Rowan was cleaning the kitchen and I really appreciate the cleanliness. Kylie was also helping with the order before close. The food was fresh, and they gave a couple of samples for me to try. Thank you again for IUPUI staff!

Yelp
We have been to this location a bunch of times and ordered their food to pick up as well and today was the worst experience we have ever had. It was 430 in the afternoon today(Sunday) they were out of steak and right after we got our bowls someone from the back came out and told them to go light portions on the chicken cause the half pan they were using was all they had. The chicken is normally very fresh and you can tell it came right off the spindle. Well today it was dry and not as good as usual. Then when I asked for extra pickles I was told he had already given me extra pickles to me 6 pickles is not extra. I've went there before and gotten double that. I also asked for extra lettuce and was given just a couple of pieces. Then I go to check out and I redeemed part of my rewards and the guy running the register tried to tell me I had to redeem all of it and instead of arguing I just said ok fine then all the sudden he sees what I'm talking about so I then use Apple Pay to pay for the rest of my purchase and as I walk away he tried to tell me my purchase didn't go thru as this point I'm upset because you're charging me 40$ for small portions and then accusing me of not paying. I showed him the transaction on my phone and after telling him 3 times I wasn't paying again he then does something on the register and all the sudden I'm ok. This place used to be really good and the employees used to knowledgeable and friendly but not anymore.

Yelp
Ordered a bowl with half salad and half basmati rice with shawarma chicken, salad, cabbage and pickles and the green sauce. Very light yet filling and flavorful.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this Mediterranean, build-your-own, fast casual restaurant. I ordered a chicken schwarma bowl with all the toppings. It was very fresh and delicious. The order ahead service was quick and easy, and the contents were fresh at pickup. I highly recommend for a quick lunch option!
google avatar

Yelp
Great quick, casual for middle eastern food... about $10/person. I love the options for building a bowl- we tried couscous as a base and basmati rice in the other. We tried a variety of toppings - all very flavorful and fresh. Our bowls came with a complimentary Naan (so soft!) and I also tried the baklava which I loved (not too sweet). The environment is cute and spacious. Ample hand sanitizer which is appreciated! The staff was friendly and helpful with descriptions, when needed. Definitely worth a visit if you want something fresh, customized and quick!

Sarah S.

Yelp
I went here twice and the service was very different both times. Food was ok, as a middle eastern i definitely had better. I really enjoy places that provide multiple options- girl dinner vibes. First time the portions were small and I had to keep reminding the server to add more. Second time my friend wanted to try it out and it was way better. Service was amazing with generous portions.

Yelp
I had visited another build your own Mediterranean dish restaurant in DC a while back and really hoped Indy would offer something similar. Enter Naf Naf Grill & I'm happy to report, it's excellent!! I was one bite into my chicken shawarma and couscous bowl and I was excited about all the future combinations I'd be trying. You get to customize your pita or bowl with a protein and multiple toppings, and because each individual element is well seasoned, the end result is just so satisfying and delicious. Highly recommend the garlic sauce to bring all the flavors together! It's great to have a budget friendly casual restaurant option in the IUPUI area with food that's memorable, not just available. Welcome to the neighborhood, Naf Naf...we're so glad you're here!!
google avatar

Liz F.

Yelp
Oh my goodness their food is so good! We did a one night getaway to Indy and had Naf Naf delivered since our kids were tired and we didn't want to drag them out. We ordered the chicken shawarma rice bowl, the fries, falafel, and hummus with pita. Everything was delicious. The fries may have been better fresh at the restaurant, but everything else traveled beautifully. Their garlic sauce is so good and I'm not worried about vampires this week! The fries and falafel were even improved by it, though they were great to start with.
google avatar

Kristin S.

Yelp
Been eyeing this place for a while but never ordered until today. WOW. Chipotle concept but with so many flavors! I got the chicken shawarma rice bowl. It was outstanding - chicken was juicy, toppings were fresh and crisp, and all of the sauces were to die for (garlic, red and green hot sauce). The hot sauces pack a nice punch! Will be back SOON!
google avatar

Amaiyah R.

Yelp
Food is great! I usually get the stuffed pita which is always consistent. Workers are nice and the place is clean!
google avatar

George M.

Yelp
I have only heard positive things about naf naf before coming. I am a Lebanese so I had high expectations for this quick stop middle eastern food. I ordered the chicken shawarma pita with everything on it. The chicken shawarma was on a spit as you would traditionally see. I was really pleased with my experience everything was good and well portioned. Make sure to get a side of garlic sauce to dip your sandwich in! Overall really good experience but the chicken looked like it had been sitting there for a little and they wouldn't cut off the spit for me. Other than that this place was a solid 4 stars and I will definitely be back to try out a bowl next time. Bonus points for having good hummus!!!
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
This Naf Naf location use to be a staple in my diet, but unfortunately it appears that shrinkflation has reared its ugly head. The last 3 times I've gotten a bowl from here I've left with it about two thirds of the way full when compared to prior months/years. Each time the rice barely filled the bottom, and they consistently skimped on the topping... sometimes I would ask for a little additional topping and it's like I was inconveniencing them. Oh, and now you need to pay extra for hummus and baba ghanous as well. I refrained from writing a review after my first negative experience because I thought it might have been poor service from one individual, but that's clearly not the case after 3 consistently poor experiences. I would only have to guess that management provided direction to scale back the serving sizes because I'm also not the only person to notice this recently (see some of the other recent reviews). It's a bummer because I really enjoyed this place, but their recent changes are leading me back to Chipotle which I never thought I'd say.
google avatar

Lizzie J.

Yelp
Obsessed is an understatement. Naf Naf is so delicious. It's chipotle style middle eastern food, but the quality is just wonderful. All of the food is FULL of flavor, and there are so many diverse options for toppings. I got the green sauce and the heat was amazing, and the garlic sauce added a nice warmth and cooled it down a bit. You'd think with this quality you'd be paying way more, but that's definitely not the case. Pricing rivals Chipotle.
google avatar

Holly W.

Yelp
One word ... ADDICTING!! I Love Naf Naf Grill... My go-to Basmati bowl with steak and All the veggies options... the purple cabbage - the onions - the pickles AND more pickles! Add some garlic sauce and a blob of hummus!!! Oh my I'm hungry just thinking about it!! Fabulous!!
google avatar

Tricia B.

Yelp
Everything here was absolutely delicious! The pitas were so fresh. Loved the steak shawarma - flavors were fantastic. The garlic sauce and green sauce made things pop. The fresh chips weren't my favorite as I like my chips a little more crisp. I preferred the steak over the chicken.
google avatar

Shruti P.

Yelp
This should be your go to place whenever you want Mediterranean cravings to be served well. Always fresh food, great service and satisfying portions. Highly recommend their shawarma and falafel.
google avatar

Brittany S.

Yelp
This is one chain I can't help but love. Fast casual carryout falafel? Yes, I'm all about it. Better yet, it's very budget friendly for those nights where we're too tired to cook but don't want to feel guilty about blowing our "fun money" budget. Naf Naf, you're online ordering service is seamless. I even love how you allow the order to add the name for each dish which helps immensely when everyone is ordering some version of a rice bowl. I most often go with the basmati rice bowl topped with falafel, their smoky baba ganoush, garlic sauce, onions, pickles, all the veggies - - basically, everything. Yup, I top my bowl with everything and always have leftovers for the next day. Double whammy! Warning - be careful on going overboard with the spicy toppings - I did this last round and paid for it (and I love spicy eats). I can't say that the service at this particular location but the online ordering, carryout system and great eats certainly make up for it. If the service was as good as I've had at the location on the northside, it'b be five stars for sure. A little friendly "hello" or acknowledgment goes a long way. Lastly, their pita bread is very fresh and fluffy. I haven't tried it yet but I bet it'd be fabulous with some honey stuffed in side to serve as dessert...just an idea ;)

Conor R.

Yelp
Good food, pretty flavorful middle eastern cuisine. I got the falafel and naan and enjoy it.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite places to get a quick lunch. You can't beat the prices for such yummy food.
google avatar

Tushona M.

Yelp
Checked out this place because I've been craving Mediterranean food and it was pretty good. The restaurant was super clean and The style of the it reminded me of chipotle. Looking at the food, You could tell the it had been sitting for a while. But the reviews are what kept me going. The staff was pretty friendly and were very open to telling us what their favorite thing to order was which is always a plus for me. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma with lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes salad, and onions and it was tasty! The chicken had a lot of flavor and garlic sauce was really good! My pita was super soft too! My friend ordered the plate and he really enjoyed his food. The only change for him is that he wish his fried chicken was fresh! If the food was fresh and hot, it would have been a perfect experience.
google avatar

Peter P.

Yelp
This little Middle Eastern chain restaurant gives you a lot of tasty food for a reasonable price. If you order a platter (instead of a sandwich), you get all the ingredients and you build your own little sandwiches with the pita bread.
google avatar

Niesha N.

Yelp
Update12/12/20: came back today, went inside and ordered, instead of using Door Dash. The customer service is amazing! I really enjoyed the energy and friendliness of Tyreek. He shares the same name as my son :). He was knowledgeable and helpful with y selections. Will continue to visit. The food was amazing! The rice bowl was huge! I enjoyed all the flavors in the bowl. I also ordered some falafel and lentil soup, which was tasty too. I plan on ordering from here again.. Plus the prices are very affordable
google avatar

Jasmine H.

Yelp
If you're looking for some quick Mediterranean food this is your spot. Think qdoba or chipotle for Mediterranean. It's located on IUPUIs campus so it's quick and convenient. They have vegetarian options and it's pretty filling. The price point is $10-20. I ordered the falafel and it comes with 5 which is generous. The next time I go I'll put the hummus on the side.
google avatar

Jastina C.

Yelp
Absolutely outstanding! I ordered online and picked up in store, but noticed it was very open bright and clean inside. This restaurant is like the chipotle of the middle eastern food. You customize your base and toppings. I ordered the rice bowl with falafel that came with a side of pita bread. I like they allow you to order extra sauces on the side which is good if you want to try different things. The food was extremely flavorful and fresh! Great value and quality overall

Yelp
I love Middle Eastern food. Since I'm spoiled rotten, I've had the opportunity to eat this wonderful food directly from the source in Egypt and Jordan. While I don't hold local restaurants to the standards of eateries abroad, I have discerning tastes. When Naf Naf Grill, a chain of fast-casual, build-your-own dish restaurants, I was curious. Would it satisfy my tastes? Naf Naf Grill has a small menu, but with its various mix-and-match options, the possibilities are broad. The customer chooses either chicken shawarma, steak or falafel. Once that choice has been made, he or she then chooses to have it in pita, bowl (with rice, couscous, hummus, or baba ganoush), salad, or on a plate. There are various fixings and sauces, as well (the tahini is great!). Dishes can be paired with Naf fries or lentil soup. The Naf fries are essentially homemade potato chips and are mediocre. I chose the chicken shawarma, which was good - but not great. Ordering my meal to-go was easy, but it had to be completed online. Due to Covid, the manager was happy to do a curbside delivery, which I appreciated. Naf Naf Grill is not the best Middle Eastern food in Indianapolis. However, with their various options and quick service, it is well worth a visit.
google avatar

Nik L.

Yelp
My first time checking out Naf Naf Grill was a pleasant experience. Serving middle eastern food in a fast food style that can be enjoyed dining in or takeaway style. You choose your entree (pita or bowl) and move down the line to add ingredients as you wish. I opted for a 1/2 and 1/2 salad bowl with hummus instead of rice or couscous and chicken schnitzel. The lettuce is green which I love. Give me a green salad and it's a go, but pale, wilty, white or brown lettuce is a no go for me. Even a good wedge salad should be green. I opted for all toppings and both Tahini and garlic sauce. Now I am not a hummus fan but it works well in this bowl. Staff was friendly and plentiful at 5 employees. It was nice outside so I chose to eat outside at one of the tables in front of Naf Naf grill. They have lots of seating inside. Definitely will visit again.
google avatar

Kim M.

Yelp
Stop by the Indiana Ave location the first week they opened. Pretty decent for chain middle eastern food. I really enjoyed the falafel. The fried potatoes/chips were a nice surprise as a side item. I got a standard platter with chicken. Not a ton of options on what you can put on your platter, but they did give lots of food to make you feel like you got your money's worth. This location had a few tables for 2 to eat outside.
google avatar

Dipali P.

Yelp
I can't stop RAVING about this place. Great food and service! I had the chicken shawarma bowl and my sister had the falafel bowl. There were plenty of condiments to choose from - my favorite is the garlic sauce! 5/5 stars in my book and we will definitely be back!!
google avatar

Jake M.

Yelp
This is a prototypical 3 star review. Actually did not realize this was a chain until visiting Chicago recently and saw a few up there. Food is fast, has healthy options, decent taste but is very much standard in taste. Don't get me wrong, would certainly prefer over Moe's across the street of Qdoba, but would not seek out again. Very much similar to those places but with medditterran fare.

Yelp
We placed an order thru work, this is not my first choice in food, but was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Had a bowl with the rice and baba with steak and the works on top and a scoop of hummus. The pita bread was really good. I tried the falafal it was just okay for me kinda like a hush puppy, but alot of my co workers raved about it. The baklava was excellent. I would try i again. We had quite a big order and will say they had everything correct.

Yelp
The food was Delicious and flavorful! The inside was Bright and fun inside the restaurant and very welcoming.

Yelp
I actually had a long enough lunch break today to go out for lunch. Yay! This is actually only about a 5 minute walk from my office, and they were super-efficient, so I need to remember this would be do-able even with a shorter break than I had today. The food was delicious! I love falafel, and the falafel pita was great. The falafel was crispy on the outside and tender, moist and nicely seasoned inside. There are a ton of choices here, but they make it easy. For the pita sandwiches, you have a choice of hummus or baba ghanoush. I went with the baba ghanoush and it was excellent. You then pick your protein, a sauce, I went with tahini, and toppings which included a great variety of vegetables. Everything was fresh and flavorful. Even the pita was fresh, and it held up nicely to all the filling. I didn't even need to resort to using a fork as often happens if pitas start falling apart; this one did not. I got a side of fries as well they were hot out of the fryer and wonderful. I definitely was to come back and try some of the bowl options too. Service was fast and friendly. This is an excellent choice among the 10th and Indiana establishments!
