The 24 Best Restaurants In Lyon - Lyon - The Infatuation

"This refugee-run Syrian restaurant serves positively enormous bowls of falafel and shawarma. When prices are this low (under €13 for a main), it would be rude not to get a selection of starters to share, and there’s every kind of dip going, served with unlimited wafer-thin pitta breads. Walk-ins are welcome, but book in advance for a coveted spot on the sprawling terrace, shaded from the summer heat and an excellent spot for people watching. We like going in for a quick lunch and leaving with our bellies considerably heavier and our wallets barely registering the difference." - anna richards

We went on a Saturday afternoon and had the brunch menu. It was hugely generous and delicious homemade food. The brunch was vegetarian but they also have meat options on the menu. Everything was delicious and we had things I had never tried before, such as the tahini with date molasses and the desserts! The staff were lovely and made us feel at home and taken care of. I highly recommend - and make sure to leave a lot of space in your belly!
