The 15 Best Restaurants In Spitalfields - London - The Infatuation

"Nagare is all about romanticising your coffee drinking experience: the pretty Japanese ceramic mugs and cups, the dark wood chairs look antique in a chic-not-shabby way, and the cream La Marzocco coffee machine will become your most-coveted kitchen appliance. We’ve tried their iced, milky, filter, and drip coffees, and whether you're sampling one of those or one of their monthly specials—like something from a small batch, specialty roaster in Hong Kong—these are some of the smoothest, most balanced coffees in London." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

I found this place on my instagram feed, and have been doing all sorts Japanese activities to hype myself up for my Japan trip this September, I originally visited yesterday for the curry bread, but decided to come back today to try their coffee and cake, the place is small but cozy, the cakes look amazing and so do the table ware! The staff are amazing and friendly, I will definitely treat myself every Thursday for coffee and cake as I start late mornings, and it’s only a 20 minute walk from my workplace 👍🏾👍🏾

This cafe is located on Brushfield Street, near Spitalfields, about a 10 mins walk from the Underground. It’s very convenient to stop by after visiting the market! The cafe is a bit small with limited seating, I ordered a matcha latte and a coffee walnut cake. The quality of the food and coffee was quite good, and the cafe played cozy music, creating a nice atmosphere for relaxation. I look forward to coming back to try more of their pastries!

Google
@nagarecoffee has been on my radar since they opened and I was still so surprised by how cozy and nice the space is when I finally got to visit it this time! The coffee was good and customers just kept coming in nonstop to get coffee to go. Not many seats available in the shop, but we were able to grab one and stay for a brief breakfast.

Nagare Coffee is an awesome little gem just outside Spitalfields Market with big Japanese grandma energy. Expect beautiful interiors, soft lofi beats, and a serious coffee game. Their house brew is smooth, slightly fruity, and perfectly balanced — no bitterness, just vibes. I had an iced coffee paired with a hot one (both served beautifully - just look at those ceramics), and the miso caramel shortbread was the standout bake. The earl grey muffin looked the part but leaned too sweet for me. Service is quick and friendly, with drinks brought to your table if you’re staying in. Seating is limited, especially indoors, but the buzz and cosy vibe make it worth the squeeze. Highly recommend for anyone into great coffee, minimal design, and pastries with personality. Heads-up — a Soho branch is on the way.

Lovely strong deep espresso. Love the decor. Cute seats by the window watching the world go by outside. The location is fab as right next to Spitalfields Markets

Google
Very cute coffee shop right off Spitalfields market, very relaxing aesthetic inside. Sadly though terrible coffee 😭 I got a cappuccino, however it was so milky and light in colour that I almost think they might have forgotten to put the coffee in, full stop. Took it away so didn’t realise until I was halfway to Liverpool Street, and at that point couldn’t turn back without missing my train. Disappointing; for £4 it should have been made properly.

It was on my wish list of best coffee shops to visit. And they delivered it. I couldn’t be more than happy. I had one of the best espresso before CLF on Thursday, I was surprise to learn that it was from Tolima Colombia as The acidity was higher for a Colombian coffee that’s due probably from the blend of cherry variety. Medium acidity, fruity at the beginning Round and smooth aftertaste with a finish of berries, Well executed. Thank you again for this experience and for the service. I will definitely come back.

This coffee shop is very small and popular. But I was very lucky to find a table inside. I had the hojicha latte with a Thai milk tea cookie. The cookie was good although nothing extraordinary but the latte was very good. I was tempted to order a second one. Also the coffee shop is cozy with a atmosphere. It’s perfect for a quick drink to takeaway or to sit down if you’re lucky to find a place to seat.

Yelp
A quaint specialty coffee shop near Spitalfields. Very reminiscent of similar shops in Japan. The flat white and pearl 40 combined with an Earl Grey muffin made for the perfect London morning. We made it a point to come back again the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Staff were very welcoming.

Yelp
We stopped into this coffee shop after looking for a local spot for a quick morning coffee. It's a small shop with a few tables inside and a couple benches outside. The staff was friendly and greeted us right away. We ordered a regular latte, chai and their lemon cake and enjoyed it there. The latte was great and the art was lovely, the chai was nice and spicy and flavorful and the lemon cake was the perfect accompaniment. For everything it was $15.62 (US) They also had some ceramic mugs and t shirts for sale inside. It was very cute- would stop by again.
