The 27 Best Restaurants in Nagoya, Japan | Eater

"Those visiting Nagoya for a single day likely can’t eat every dish the city is famous for. But they can attend the breakfast buffet at the Nagoya Crown Hotel, where 1080 yen ($10) buys small bites of Nagoya-meshi, from miso katsu to kishimen to hitsumabushi. The hotel won the Rakuten Travel Award for Best Breakfast (Aichi Region) in 2017 and 2018, and the buffet’s truly extensive selection is a great way to sample much of Nagoya in a single meal. The Natural Hot Spring Nagoya Crown Hotel offers a unique and comfortable stay in downtown Nagoya. Its standout feature is the large, natural hot spring bath, available 24 hours a day, providing a relaxing experience for guests. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Fushimi Station, with easy access to Nagoya Station and nearby attractions like Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Shrine.||While the building shows signs of age, the rooms are clean and well-maintained, equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi, refrigerators, and electric kettles. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of Japanese dishes, including local specialties like kishimen and miso soup. The hotel also features a public bath, restaurant, and coin laundry facilities.|Overall, the Natural Hot Spring Nagoya Crown Hotel provides a cost-effective option for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of Nagoya.

The room was quite small for a triple room. The bathroom was also very small. The hotel itself is beautiful. Location was great and walking distance to the science museum and eateries.

This hotel's location is truly one of its strongest points. It's perfectly situated in a convenient area, and I was particularly thrilled to find a Don Quijote store just around the corner - perfect for picking up any forgotten essentials or late-night snacks. While the building itself shows its age and could use some updates, the hotel makes up for it with some outstanding features. The highlight has to be the spacious public bath area. If you're a fan of Japanese baths, you'll feel right at home here. The bathing facilities are surprisingly large, offering a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was the unexpected star of my stay. It's an impressive spread featuring various Nagoya specialties - from miso katsu to hitsumabushi. It's like taking a culinary tour of Nagoya without leaving the hotel! For anyone wanting to sample the city's famous dishes all at once, this breakfast alone is worth booking a stay.

Very good location near Fushmi station & reasonable price. Staff really good & friendly. Front desk manager Yamamoto san is a showcase of outstanding hospitality. He speaks good English & has good memory in remembering us. Feel very much at home. Towels clean, new & white. Toilet in our room is brand new. Room usual as normal business hotel. Japanese breakfast has good varieties. Very pleasant stay. Would come again.Next door is a big shopping centre/supermarket Terrasse Nayabashi. Most impressed with the excellent price of Waguy & Nagoya Hida beef, ready to eat with a fraction of price elsewhere. First of March, surprised to see new luxuriant blooming of about 60 (or more) Sakura trees along Mitsukura dori 1 minutes fro hotel.

For the price, I thought this hotel was a great deal. The room was small but clean and decent. The washroom is pretty cramped though, the bed and pillows could be more comfortable, and despite being a non-smoking room, my room still smelled a bit smoky. The low price, breakfast buffet, and great onsen made this a hotel I would go back to though.

We stayed here for one night in Nagoya before heading onto Gero and northern Japan. We reserved two rooms, both around 12 square feet with a bathtub and two single beds. Although the room was tiny, the experience was comfy and the sleeping quality was quite well. The service was good, as the check-in and out process was fast and easy. They also gave us advice about the hotel and what to notice about. To our astonishment, onsens were available in the hotel. In the night, we bathed in the onsen ( although it wasn't big than the onsen hotel in Japan), and felt comfy through the night. The hotel was cheap and worth the price. The breakfast, not included in the price of the hotel, was value of money with good Japanese food involved. Overall, good experience in this hotel.

The hotel is clean just like most Japanese hotels. The pillow is really too soft, didn't like it. Of course being in japan, the staff are polite. The bed are spacious compared to standard jpn rooms. I must say the breakfast spread is really a lot and enjoyed most of the Nagoya type breakfast.|The hotel has an onsen, good for relaxation, only if you don't have Chinese mainland tour group, they are really loud by nature, not rude but by nature loud.|If you need shower caps help yourself at the reception.||The hotel is a walking distance to most shopping area. |Overall a great value for money.
