Wonderful Thai restaurant in downtown Dunwoody Georgia. Situated in the shops of Dunwoody shopping center next to the Dunwoody Tavern, Nai Thai serves up exceptionally prepared Thai cuisine. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quaint, and the service is quick and attentive. We generally order takeout, but have dined in and the service has been wonderful. We cannot recommend enough, the Thai fried rice, the Pad Thai, the Rama Curry and the Ginger. Whether you add tofu, chicken or any other protein, you cannot go wrong. The portions portions are far more than expected. They are happy to take special orders, such as extra veggies, or leaving a certain ingredient out. Highly recommended

Google
First impression; Love the ambiance. The vegetarian spring rolls is highly recommended. The rice with chicken + cashew was just ok and was disappointed that it doesn’t taste authentic Thai or at least close to the actual dish. Portions was so huge that we got the Pad See Ew to go and eat the rice and chicken + cashew at the restaurant. I also stir fried the pad see ew the next day and added more seasoning to adjust its flavour since it was bland. Food here are most likely for sharing as the portion is huge so just keep that in mind when ordering.

My husband and I are so happy we came here for dinner! Delicious food, amazing service! Nick (The owner very friendly) We enjoy Thai dumplings, The drunken noodle was really good. I always have high expectations for Thai foods, but this hits the spot 👌🏻 Definitely one of my favorite restaurants! Give it a try if you’re nearby !

This place is tucked away in a corner of Dunwoody. It's located in a busy plaza with plenty of parking. The food was great and the people were friendly. I enjoyed every bite! I look forward to visiting again.

Google
Lovely atmosphere. Delicious food! I’m not a person who likes strong spices or heavy garlic. My husband is the opposite. So this was a perfect dining choice. We both were happy;) I had pad Thai with chicken and it was flavorful but not spicy. And my husband enjoyed one of the many spicy choices. We arrived late, but the staff still greeted us warmly and fed us. They never rushed us or made us feel uncomfortable.

Google
Amazing!!! We got the nom sod and papaya salad for appetizers. Everything was delicious and fresh. High quality food and service. I’m super picky about my Thai, but they did not disappoint. 👌

Rarely have I been as impressed with a dinner as when I went to Nai Thai Cuisine. All of the employees are very kind, smiling and asking if I need anything else even if they aren’t my server. They kindly accommodated a modification to my meal I requested and never let me go with an empty drink. The place is very clean and the music is at the perfect volume so that you can easily talk with your friends! If you want some delicious Thai food and good service, this is the place to go.

Google
Hand down Nai Thai is a place that not only offers great Thai food but also the ambience is so calming. I tried chicken potstickers which were just perfectly pan fried and the inside filling was mouth watering. Highly recommend that as an app. For the main, I ordered drunken noodles and my husband got panang curry. We have had these dishes so may times before at other restaurants but what I really liked about this was firstly the portion size, then the amount of chicken and veggies was so wholesome. I could only have half of the drunken noodles and took the rest for next day’s lunch. The Thai tea was a bit too sweet for my taste buds and I’d have preferred it a little less sweet. 5 star for great staff, food and experience. Will come back here for all my Thai food cravings and try something I have not before.

Yelp
Very pleasant staff, clean, attractive restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating with pets welcome. I had been running errands around Perimeter Mall and was looking for a nearby Thai restaurant for takeout options to bring back to the Aloft hotel. Thanks to the local Yelpers for steering me to this gem! Located in a strip mall, plenty of parking. Warm welcome and I quickly selected a favorite dish....drunken noodles with steamed tofu. It was ready quickly and they included my requested fish sauce with peppers that enhanced the flavor profile for me. Portion was very generous, plenty for 2 dinners. It had a bit of spice so if that is not your preference, you have been warned! Looking forward to my next visit !

Yelp
Great fellowship with my sisters! Nai Thai is a thai spot located in the perimeter area DUNWOODY of Atlanta not too far from the Perimeter Mall to share some context. The parking lot is bery busy so finding parking was challenging but we managed to find one as someone was leaving out! AMEN, lol. So, we arrived at Nai Thai and was greeted immediately but it was weird! The hostess seemed a little nervous but sat us at a table for 4 but realized we were trying to explain to her it was 6 of us. Maybe a language barrier. After we got settled, We ordered drinks and apps with "Nuc" amazing waiteress! She was helpful, answered questions. She made us feel comfortable but our entrance may have took some by surprised. ANYWHO! The music was very low and soft and we were truly the center of attention! I ordered the raspberry lemonade, the chicken pot stickers, and the Panang Catfish, which catfish is not my go to but I wanted something fried! Lol Chicken Pot Stickers-$8.50/6 pc Pan fried stuffed with seasoned chicken and veggies. Served with sweet ginger soy sauce. Panang Catfish-$24.00 Crispy catfish sliced and served in our creamy Panang sauce with green beans, bell peppers and basil leaves. Medium spicy. WITH a side of white rice. Our night ended very well we decided not to get any dessert because we were stuffed. Not sure when I will ever return to the restaurant because there's nowhere near my side of town, but the night was great. It's always good to fellowship with my sisters and discuss everything our lives and books! Thanks again Nai Thai Cuisine!

Yelp
We were in the area and decided to call in an order for pickup. Once we placed the order, we were asked to pay over the phone, which my husband thought seemed unnecessary. Before hanging up he reiterated we wanted three separate orders of steamed white rice and they confirmed. After a 35-minute wait, we picked up the order and went home. Upon unpacking, we noticed there was only one order of steamed white rice. The food overall was good, but for a place requiring advanced over-the-phone payment before pickup, I expected the complete order to have been filled.

Madyson C.

Yelp
We ordered take out from here while in town and I was blown away by how amazing this Thai was. We ordered chicken pad Thai, beef drunken noodles and an order of the summer rolls. We ordered both entrees with medium spice level and they had a nice kick but not overly spicy in my opinion. We split this between three people and it was plenty for lunch. The summer rolls were okay, I wish they did not have meat inside.

Sharon M.

Yelp
I ate here with some coworkers a few weeks ago. It was delicious! I ordered the Panang Curry Catfish and both the presentation and taste were amazing. Appetizers were well prepared and my friend said the Thai coconut soup was great. Will definitely be back!

Mary M.

Yelp
Well, let's say that slightly over cooked calamari that is deliciously lightly breaded comes in third. This is supplanted by a "civiche" dressed Larb. I realize that every kitchen has their own take on Larb but this was truly out of balance. It tasted like lime juice over ground chicken which is not "Larby " enough for me. I was surprised to find the two carrot sticks a bit dried out as well. Overall the food was disappointing. Service- hmmm, not terribly friendly but then, it was lunch hour and maybe too many customers put the wait staff off her game. Would I go back, I don't think so even though the Yelp ratings don't match mine.

DeeDee H.

Yelp
There's nothing like a nice dinner, tranquil setting, prompt and kind service, and understated music that encourages intimate conversation. It's always a special treat when visiting. Could not offer a higher recommendation for this restaurant!

Uma P.

Yelp
amazing. There's a parking lot outside. There's small amount of seating outside as well but we sat inside. It's clean and we got seated right away. They were accommodating with the baby and had high chairs. The food is absolutely delicious. I loved the Thai fried rice. I also got some chicken, which was amazing. My mom enjoyed her curry. The spice level was perfect. Service was excellent and attentive. Will definitely be back here. Great place to bring a date or to hang out with friends. Nice area.

Sara H.

Yelp
Amazing food, fresh and delicious Great customer service. The servers are so pleasant making sure you have everything you need. Speedy service too! Highly recommended.

Yelp
Nai Thai is situated in a well landscaped strip mall known as the Shops of Dunwoody....very much entrenched in a slice of suburbia amid salons, a pizzeria, and of course, a tavern. Bear in mind: This has no affiliation with Nan Thai (Fine Dining) in Midtown Atlanta, though the spelling is off by only one letter. We arrived at 5 PM. The venue is clean, and the servers are friendly. The menu is reasonably straightforward, though the vegetarian items should be taken as specified, i.e., a strict vegetarian won't be able to get the fish sauce out of the curries. We got the eggplant stir fry, the steam Thai dumplings, and the pad see ew. The dumplings were pretty good if you're a dumpling/pork/shrimp fan, so they function well as a starter. I will acknowledge that the eggplant stir fry and pad see ew dishes provided for reasonably sizable portions, we were happy with it on that front. We did get some condiments on the side, but the dishes themselves were not as spicy as we would have liked. Nonetheless, we were reasonably satisfied with the food overall.

Yelp
Not coming back .............................!!!!!!!! ......................................................... Very clean place But, Food not my cup of tea very plain Nothing authentic

Tim D.

Yelp
Lunch today was fantastic! The food was fresh and tasty. I could have taken a little more spice but the flavor was still wonderful. Service was fast and the team was super nice. The restaurant wasn't loud so it was easy to have a conversation. I'll be back!

Amina M.

Yelp
The food and service at Nai Thai is excellent! They definitely deserve all 5 stars. I've been here a couple of times now, and every time has been the same, so it's pretty consistent as well. I'm gluten free and they have many options for gluten free and vegetarian diets as well. The ambience is very nice, with nice decor. The tables are not too close and the volume is not too loud. They have the option to sit a table, a booth, or the bar, which has a small TV to watch while at the bar, but doesn't feel like a bar. I like the food because everything, or the entrees that I've had, all taste pretty fresh with fresh ingredients. They also give pretty good portion sizes as well, see picture of Salmon. I try to get different things on the menu, but I always get the coconut soup as an appetizer and it is pretty hearty with chunks of chicken and mushrooms in it and very filling. I will mostly get some type of tea, which they have this ginger honey tea that is amazing! I always leave satisfied and with leftovers because my eyes are always bigger than my stomach when I come here. The service is always great, no matter whose the host at the time. They check on you regularly, will offer suggestions if needed, and will box your leftovers at the end. I will definitely be back to visit and recommend it to anyone who enjoys Thai food!

Rajul P.

Yelp
The food was average at best. Pad Thai and drunken noodles tasted the same. Everything seemed to be cooked in the same sweet sauce. Drunken noodles were supposed to be spicy but tasted sweet. Asked for hot sauce to increase spice level. That too tasted sweet.

Aj G.

Yelp
Ordered takeout tonight and everything we had was amazing! Despite being a few minutes past our pick up window, all our dishes were piping hot and waiting for us. Overall, Nai Thai has the perfect spice level for our family. We loved the green papaya salad, and chicken coconut soup. The Massaman curry was delicious and our kids enjoyed the beef lo mein and curry puffs. The portions were generous and I'm certain we'll be back! A "con," if you can call it that, is that the curry puffs only come with 3 puffs, and they were so good that we each wanted one without having to share! Next time, I'll be sure to order two portions!

John V.

Yelp
We have had several good meals here, but not tonight! The basil rolls had no flavor of basil. The basil chicken which should have been 2 chill pepper hot had NO hot, and NO basil flavor whatsoever. We won't hurry back.

Marianne J.

Yelp
Great Thai food. Wish they still had the coconut ice cream though. The coconut cake does not have enough texture and seems pricy.

Cindel Paulen Feliz G.

Yelp
A taste of Thailand with authentic recipes! I wish they offered a larger size of the tom yum soup. Overall, the food is mouthwatering, and the ambiance is nice and clean!

Andrew P.

Yelp
I have been lucky enough to find this spot. Solid Thai food that tastes like Thai street food. We're becoming regulars to this spot and it has never disappointed. Pad Thai is great! Their thai lomein is also great! They also have one of the best duck dishes. Try them out. You will not be disappointed.

Ishara F.

Yelp
Cocktails are not that great but I actually really like the food. Basil fried rice is good And spicy if you ask for it to be spicy!

Rick H.

Yelp
Delicious food. Called ahead and ordered. Everything was ready when arrived. Delicious. Will order again when back in Dunwoody.

Rochelle J.

Yelp
Delicious nutritious makes you feel ambitious! Yes, I do go back and will continue to do so as long as it food and service continues to be so good.

Noanya S.

Yelp
I enjoyed my lunch at Nai Thai. The establishment gets pretty packed mid day and I'm not surprised. Great service and food. I started with the shrimp Tom yum, which was extremely tasteful. Not too spicy and just the right amount of lemongrass. My only complaint is the one lonely shrimp hanging in my bowl I also had a Thai tea and the pad see ew (medium heat). Both were fantastic and the only thing I'd change is the bowl the pad see ew is served in as it's way too small. I'd definitely return when in the area and looking for a solid Thai restaurant. P.S. they have a full bar, you're welcome

Avi R.

Yelp
Delicious thai food in Dunwoody. The food arrived fast and fresh. Decent service and prices. Plenty of parking in the complex!

Lauren A.

Yelp
Food was excellent and service was wonderful. The sauce in my masaman curry was the perfect amount of thickness and extremely flavorful without being spicy. Soooo yummy!

Alyanna T.

Yelp
My partner and I ordered the red curry w chicken, basil duck, and pad see ew w chicken - TASTE: 4/5 - thought the Thai black sweet soy sauce could've been heavier in the pad see ew, and red curry would be spicier, but enjoyed these still and the basil duck TEXTURE: 4/5 - the seared duck breast had a wonderful, fried crust, and the green beans, onions, and bell peppers on the side were a great, crisp complement. Also liked the ridged potatoes and chunks of eggplant in the red curry PRICE: 3/5 - dishes were a little more expensive than I anticipated! SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - good dinner portions and took home most of it for leftovers. We both noted that the pad see ew should've been served on a big round plate, rather than a medium-sized bowl SERVICE: 4/5 - we walked in at 6pm on a Thursday and sat at a table outside. Our food came out super quickly and our waitress was attentive ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 - sleek decor inside, and the space is located in a nice strip PARKING: 5/5 - plenty of parking in The Shops of Dunwoody plaza

Fahrina H.

Yelp
Nai Thai has amazing Thai food! Great quality and great portions. I love my pad Thai super spicy and they absolutely delivered The pad Thai was spot on with the flavor, sweet, tangy, spicy, filled with chicken and garnished with green onions and peanuts. It had the right amount of sauce. I was entirely full off half a portion. Will happily come back!

Mike D.

Yelp
First time here ... first impression has been awesome. A really well made martini, and there is something special about the Thai Basil Roll.

Kelly J.

Yelp
Located inside a cute little plaza in dunwoody. Service is good and restaurant is very quiet and clean. The food was good- I ordered the Mongolian beef and a lychee martini. I believe they also do happy hour which is nice!

Robin N.

Yelp
Rich food and flavor. Great taste and friendly professional service. Our go to for Thai food.

Mary P.

Yelp
This place used to be my favorite Thai spot. However, recently I ordered food from them through Uber eats and they placed a completely spoiled avocado on top of my salmon dish. Why would your staff intentionally place a spoiled avocado that's black and brown in color on top of the food and serve it, I'm very disappointed that they did this. Please see the picture below for reference. Not only did the staff see that the avocado is spoiled and brown and black in color. They cut the spoiled avocado, and decided to still serve it.

Emily G.

Yelp
I tried calling in to place a to go order but there was no answer, so I decided to go ahead and just go and place my order at the restaurant. One I got there, I was greeted immediately and warmly. While I glanced at the menu the bartender made me a water without being asked- it was a toasty day so this was greatly appreciated. I ended up ordering the basil rolls and an order of the Tim kha soup both were delicious and made quickly. As I work in the area I will be back!

Aliyah C.

Yelp
The food was amazing! 10/10 I had panang beef Thai Basil Rolls Coconut soup And two glasses of wine! Superb

Dazziyah M.

Yelp
This place is really good! The environment is very quiet and peaceful, the waiters are very nice and overall, it's a great experience. * I ordered the Masaman Curry with beef and it was so bomb. I ordered it hot, but it didn't taste all that hot. The beef was very flavorful and I love how the potatoes have a bit of a crunch to it... not sure if that makes sense... but it does lol. The sauce is soooo good, I could drink it by itself! But I won't.. lol * my friend got noodles, I can't remember the name, but she thought it was better than mine! I don't agree, but it was really good too. I loved her vegetables and the noodles had a bit of spice to it. Overall I will definitely be coming back! Covid friendly until your eating of course. The servers and staff also wear masks.

Danielle O.

Yelp
This restaurant is so tasty. My boyfriend and I ordered from UberEats 2-3x before I realized that I told my friends to meet me there. It's only 3.3 miles away from home. We agree that Thai can be our weekend "treat", especially the Mango Sticky Rice. The establishment is clean, parking is ample. There are several businesses on the same strip. Just about everyone has outside eating options. My friends & I sat in the corner, no one else near us. Staff are friendly & attentive from the moment you're seated. Masks required. Staff wears masks and gloves. Sanitizer soon as you walk in the door. Served hot. Portions are good. We don't have pics before we ate the food so fast. What I had: Thai tea Masaman Curry / tofu Spring rolls It's priced perfectly when you take away all the fees we racked up from being lazy w/ UberEats.

Ernie M.

Yelp
Awesome food, perfect spice level! Will eat again! You should go! Like alot and worth a try...

Mischita H.

Yelp
I found this spot after doing a quick search for food options. It was about an hour before closing so I called ahead for a pick up order. I was able to easily and quickly place my order over the phone. I went with my staple of shrimp pad thai and tom yum goong. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted. I let them know that I was there for a pick up order and gave my name. While one person processed payment, another brought my food from the back packaged and ready to go. For the tom yum goong, I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of mushrooms. The flavor and serving size was good. The small salad was unexpected but very much appreciated. I found the pad thai to be good - neither bad nor stellar. I was missing spice - I totally forgot to ask for it to spicey. The bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. Also, the serving size was reasonable. Overall, the meal was good. It was sufficient to satisfy the taste for pad thai. I could order again if I happen to be nearby.

Deb N.

Yelp
The food is So Good and SO Consistent! The staff are friendly and really attempt to stay on task! Unusual beverages and alcohol combinations. Try the Thai iced tea, creamy and delightfully sweet. Dunwoody's restaurant-scene is looking up! Ambiance is good, the decor is neutral with an Asian charm. In the summer we enjoy sitting outside on the small patio.

Elisha B.

Yelp
Fantastic service, food, and in adorable Dunwoody village. The rule of 25 characters in a review is completely ridiculous.

Elizabeth B.

Yelp
The service was a five star as the staff is very nice but the food is terrible. Ordered basil dishes that had minced chicken that tasted fishy and the vegetables were rubbery, definitely frozen and maybe even microwaved. The second dish was curry it was so sweet with no spice, it was so disappointing. I ate the rice and vegetables out of the second dish. It was really so sweet it was disgusting. I gave two stars because the staff are awesome, not a fan of the food. I actually love good Thai food. I have been to several in the area and this one I will not be returning to. It's really a 1.

Kai E.

Yelp
While traveling through the Dunwoody area during lunch time on a Saturday, I was in the mood for Thai and stumbled upon Nai Thai Cuisine on yelp. I was ecstatic to see that they offered online takeout ordering fulfilled by Grubhub. The restaurant is located in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. This cute little hidden gem offered both indoor and outdoor seating. I would suspect due to Covid-19 is the reason why the place was empty other than the couple dining outside when I arrived to pick up my food. Clearly they are getting lots of customer because there were to-go bags lined up across the bar and several people arrived around the same time I did to pick up their orders. The staff was super friendly and professional, I was in and out within seconds. My order came out perfect, which consisted of Thai Spring Rolls and Shrimp with Broccoli Stir-fry that I requested thai hot no carrots. The Spring Rolls were Crispy and came with what seemed to be a sweet and sour sauce made in house, not a huge fan of the sauce but the rolls were good. The stir-fry was tasty, nice and spicy like I requested very flavorful and the broccoli was fresh and cooked perfectly. A salad came with the meal and the creamy ginger dressing was yummy. My lunch portion was large, I had plenty left over for later. I'm glad I found a new quality Thai restaurant to come to when I am in the Dunwoody area. I can't wait to come back so I can try some other menu items and dine in.

Simone H.

Yelp
The green tea ice cream and cake was the best part. Great wine selection and the food was hood. The server we had was not knowledgeable but another server came out to better explain the wine offerings and take care of us. Definitely authentic Thai. I had the pad Thai noodle with chicken, crispy roll, coconut soup, and dessert of course. Can't wait to go back for lunch.

John K.

Yelp
Ate there on a whim last night. What a wine list (unexpected). They accommodated my son, wife and his 6 month old without batting an eyelash! I asked to have pork with the eggplant (highly recommended) and the chef complied without any problem. I have no reservations (no pun) about recommending this restaurant!

Paula N.

Yelp
We ordered some dishes to try out via UberEats yesterday. Overall, it was just okay. We ordered the chicken satay skewers, Thai fried rice with chicken, drunken noodles with tofu, mango sticky rice, and Thai iced tea. The chicken satay skewers were great! The peanut sauce was perfect and the chicken was well marinated. My drunken noodles with tofu was not good at all. I was surprised since I read all these amazing reviews about it. It was way too spicy and not enough flavor. I could barely eat it. It also came with like three pieces of broccoli. The tofu was good but this dish was just lacking. Highly disappointing. I really would not recommend it. My boyfriend's Thai fried rice with chicken was decent, but nothing special. There were barely any vegetables in there and the chicken pieces were unseasoned. The mango sticky rice was good, but smaller in portion when compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The iced Thai tea was perfect - we both really enjoyed it! All in all, kind of disappointed with our experience. Hoping we caught them on a bad day. We will probably try other entrees next time if we decide to return.

Theresa H.

Yelp
So I was told Nick who used to work at Bangkok Station opened this new restaurant. Came here last Sunday for lunch. We were given dinner menu, I guess some restaurants do not offer lunch menus on Sundays. Not too sure why or how, it does not quite matter to me but not too sure if everyone is fine with it. The restaurant is located at the vicinity of Perimeter mall, at a rather quiet strip mall. Parking lot has ample parking. AMBIENCE 4/5 I like it, though I wish there is more natural lighting. It was hard to take any aesthetic IG pictures. The décor is simple, and one can see some pretty Thai décor throughout the restaurant. I supposed the restaurant ambience will shine more for dinner service. I really really like the floorings. FOOD Tom Kha Soup 3/5 The soup was good but I definitely prefer the ones at Bangkok Station. I thought it supposed to be Coconut Chicken Soup, i did not think there was any coconut milk as an ingredient in that soup. Basil Duck 5/5 The duck was tender with this really flavorful sauce. It was possibly a cousin of the Chinese bbq sauce. The egg plant was cooked perfectly. Thai Fried Rice - 4/5 The Thai fried rice was really good. Then again good restaurants should never mess up any authentic fried rice (American Chinese fried rice an exception). I wish the fried rice came with a fried egg like the one at Bangkok Station. Thai Coconut Cake - 5/5 Best coconut cake I ever have. Super moist and not overly sweet. One of us did not even like coconut and she actually ate more than half of the slice we ordered. Sweet Jasmine Sticky Rice with Mango - 5/5 Best mango sticky rice I ever have in my life!! The sticky rice was so soft and the mango pieces were sweet. I could eat this all on my own! Thai Iced Tea - 5/5 Do they offer refill for this?? J/k!! SERVICE 5/5 Solid 5 stars! The female staff was very friendly and attentive. Nick, the owner came and said hello. Of course he remembered me from his days at Bangkok Station. We chatted a bit and came to know the restaurant was opened around mid July. I could see Nick brought his experience from Bangkok Station in Buckhead to his very own Nai Thai in Perimeter area. I just wish it is not located so far from home. Still I would recommend this new neighborhood gem to everyone who lives in the area and those who do not mind trekking a little to check out this place. For me, I will definitely return once a while to check out other items in the menu.

Zaid N.

Yelp
Delicious Thai food in dunwoody area. I went to many Thai places in Atlanta and this one was one of the better options. Ordered a few apps and some sushi. The octopus salad was awesome and the service was quick. Would definitely come back!

Sri B.

Yelp
I placed an order of Basil Fried Rice and got a crazy super hot green chilly filled fried rice .. you guys are crazy..

Brian D.

Yelp
Over cooked Chinese and dry pad Thai. Got take out and picked up promptly so nothing from that side just preparation issues. Was a busy Friday but I've had better from other places even when they're slammed. 26 Thai is much much better.

Kinjal S.

Yelp
This place was on my want to try list since I moved to the area. I saw they had a lot of vegetarian options on Uber eats which is awesome! I ordered pick up from their website (went through chow now). I got a pad Thai with tofu and Thai tea. The Thai tea was so good. It didn't taste "fake" or bitter. The pad Thai was spot on. So many vegetables and good amount of tofu. I just wished I asked for it spicier. The portion is huge. I barely made it through a third before I was full.
