The star of the meal is undoubtedly the kabsa, cooked to perfection with fragrant spices and tender, flavorful meat. The mandi is equally impressive—beautifully seasoned, slow-cooked, and served with perfectly fluffy rice. Their jareesh and saleeg are rich, comforting, and capture the essence of true Saudi home cooking. If you are looking for a place where 📍🇸🇦🐫 local culture is at the forefront, then this restaurant is just right for you.☺️ First, I would like to explain why I gave 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars, and then highlight the aspects I appreciated. ⚠️⚠️ The ladies’ 🚾 restroom was very unclean. Overall, it clearly needs renovation or replacement. A place like this truly deserves a much cleaner and better-maintained restroom. Now, moving on to the positive points.😍 Sitting outdoors around low tables set on the ground was a very pleasant and authentic experience. Our group was relatively large (around 9 people), so we were asked to move to a private indoor room. 🇸🇦 Our local friend ordered a variety of dishes for us, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also tried camel 🐫 meat for the first time. Unfortunately, it was quite tough, so I couldn’t really eat it. However, the other appetizers and especially the rice dishes were very flavorful and enjoyable.🤌🏻 We were also very satisfied with the service provided by the ladies. They were extremely polite and always had warm🩵, genuine smiles on their faces. Unfortunately, I did not catch their names, but they were all wonderful.

We visited Najd Village last week for dinner. It’s a restaurant that offers authentic traditional Saudi cuisine, and the ambiance truly reflects that. The interior is beautifully decorated with traditional architecture, low or floor seating options, private rooms, and an overall nostalgic, heritage-inspired atmosphere. We ordered chicken kabsa, since it’s the dish I’m most familiar with. The chicken was soft, tender, and juicy, but I found the rice a bit dry, and the kubos bread was also on the dry side. Despite that, the overall experience was good. The staff were all polite and accommodating, and the setting made it feel like a unique cultural experience. I’ll be back to try more of the traditional dishes on their menu.

We had dinner at Najd Village, and its atmosphere was great. Although there were many customers, it was not noisy at all, and it was quite quiet. The Najd Village lived up to its name, offering a strong Arabic flavor, and I really enjoyed the Chicken Kabsah. Additionally, I want to express my gratitude to the staff at Najd for helping me recover my portable power bank. I realized it was missing only after returning to the hotel, as we had dinner sitting on the carpet. I guessed I must have left it at the restaurant. I rushed back to the restaurant the next morning before my flight, and the staff found the power bank and returned it to me, allowing me to start my Egypt trip smoothly.

This food was excellent! The restaurant was very unique and interesting to me. The associates were very friendly and food came out quick! I would love to be back for another set of food

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Najd Village, located on Shariah Al-Thakusi in Al Olaya, Riyadh. Perfect for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality, outstanding and authentic dining experience of traditional Saudi cuisine in a setting that truly honors its heritage. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance promised a unique and genuine experience, which it absolutely delivered. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in a classic, traditional style, and this commitment to heritage extends to the way the food is served, making you feel truly immersed in the culture. We ordered a feast to sample a variety of flavors: Lamb Madghout, Lamb Maqluba, Lamb Mugalgal, Lamb Hamees with onion and the sweet bread. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality justifies the cost. Every dish was delicious, but the Lamb Madghout was the undeniable standout, absolutely worth it and highly recommended. The experience was so remarkable that I placed a takeaway order for my family, who also loved it. I am already planning my next visit to try more dishes from their extensive menu. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special mention to the lady who took our order; she was not only efficient but also fluent in English, which made the ordering process seamless and hassle-free. Be aware that parking is charged at 3 SAR per hour. We visited after office hours and found plenty of spaces. However, given the number of restaurants in the area, finding parking during peak lunch or dinner hours might be challenging.

We visited Najd Village on Takassusi Street last night and while the food was enjoyable — with dishes like Hamees, Matazeez, Naimi Meat Kabsa, Maqluba, Steamed Naimi Meat, Sambosas, and fresh salads — what truly stood out the most was the ambiance. More than the food itself, the setting stole the show. Dining felt like stepping back in time, with interiors resembling a traditional Saudi home, complete with old-style decor and classic cutlery. It created a warm, nostalgic experience that made the visit special. The Tatlee Custard and Crème Caramel desserts were a sweet finish.

This was the final stop on my Edge of the World tour and I couldn’t think of a more perfect way to end the night! The food was absolutely incredible! Definitely a must stop experience for first time visitors in Riyadh.
