Yelp
Naked City Pizza is now located inside a PKWY Tavern - one of those Dotty's/Mollie's/Jackpot Joannie's type of local hangouts with slot machines, darkened bar, and good food. Try the delicious 'Guinea Pie' - a masterpiece with meatballs, spinach, tons of ricotta and mozzarella over a white garlic sauce. The $19 quarter sheet has six thick slices and the home made meatballs are much thicker and tastier than what you'll find most everywhere else. Half sheets are $30 and a monstrous full is $50. A more traditional pie, also very good, is the 'Naked City' with red marinara sauce, pepperoni, sausage, onion, olives, and peppers.
Made from the same pizza dough is an amazing appetizer drowning with a mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan blend called 'garlic cheesy bread'. It's delicious, generously sized at $11, and every bit as cheesy as the Bermuda shorts, knee-high argyle socks, and penny loafer outfit I often wear to jury duty. The French fries here are also top notch, freshly cut in their kitchen, well seasoned, and some of the best-tasting spuds in Las Vegas. Sometimes you accidentally stumble upon a real gem in the least expected place...other restaurants would do well to emulate Naked City's fries because if a small, not-so-busy restaurant nestled inside a local slots-only casino can take the extra step to fresh-cut their fries, why can't those that focus only on food do the same?
Open late every day from 11 a.m. till 1 a.m., plenty of free parking, clean inside, located at Flamingo & Decatur...give Naked City a try!
