"The Nalinh Market is crucial to the Thai and Lao communities living in Irving and surrounding areas. The grocery store is a nexus point for ingredients, and the restaurant offers Northern Thai specialties like hot and spicy combo ladna, khaopiak (chicken noodle soup), and laab brisket. Whether it’s hot or cold outside, there’s sure to be a dish that’s perfect to balance out the temperature and your mood." - Lee Escobedo

Food is the best and would rate it 10/10 but they really need to update times, I’ve passed by more than 7 times since early November and they are always closed during “open times” I’ve even seen sign on but doors are closed. I MISS THE FOOD, it would be awesome to know some good times to catch you guys! :)

First of all, the inside of the place is so freaking cool! It feels like a secret spot where the cool kids go. The food just added to the experience, it was flavored so well and it tastes delicious! 10/10 highly recommend!

This is definitely one of my top five favorite Thai restaurants in the DFW area. I discovered this market back in 2021 and the food is fantastic. It's not your typical restaurant. It's a small Thai/Laos market with a kitchen, so that's how you know it's authentic. You grab a menu by the door and enter the kitchen to place your order. I tried their nam khao, yellow curry, Laos sausages, pad Thai, holy basil stir fry, khao piek, sticky rice, and more. The dishes are so good and flavorful, and it really reminded me of downtown LA which is where I had the best Thai food of my life. The prices aren't crazy high either. Each dish costs around $9.99 which is much cheaper than other Thai restaurants that charge $14-16 per dish. They recently changed the way they do spice levels. Before, I can ask to make the dish mild or medium spicy, but now, they don't let you adjust anything. They just make it plain and there are peppers on the table for you to adjust yourself. The flavors are still good, but it's not the same when I can dig in and burn my tongue from ordering spice levels I can't handle. Their yellow curry is the best curry I've had. I really dislike the green and red peppers that most places make it with, but they offer either eggplants or bamboo shoots. I love bamboo shoots, so it was just chicken and bamboo shoots with nothing else, and that's perfect for me. Some people might prefer more ingredients, but I like my curry simple with an equal amount of meat/veggies to curry ratio. Overall, you can't go wrong with any dishes here. It is a far drive for me, but I try to branch out and try different dishes with my boyfriend when we go. If we really like a dish, then we'll make sure to order that one as well (ex: Laos sausages). Once you're done, you pay at the register upfront. You can grab whatever groceries you need or their pandan dessert (banh lot in Vietnamese) before leaving. We always order a bunch of food but the total is usually around $40-50, which is SO cheap compared to other restaurants. Not to mention having delicious leftovers for the next couple of days.

Small market but has authentic items and food is served .. Not much of a selection on things Made to order food: the options are nice and authentic. The flavor wasn't there for me. Cash only -- but they do have a zelle and cashapp option

LOVE MY SIS, Love the food, the area, and the inside! Food was amazing as usual. I was sad to see them close down the other location but opened this one 10 min from my place. If you want authentic Laotian food, this is where you need to be. We ordered the Pad Thai, thaud mun pah, sai gok, and thum mak thang. Delicious as ever, makes me miss my mom’s cooking. She is in the panhandle, so I come here for comfort food when I miss my family.

The appetizer and Lao salad are good.

Very much still enjoyable Lao Cuisine. Be patient as they do not have a full staff. The people there do what they can and still put out some of the best Laos food I have had. Still is my go to spot!

I found this place while looking at Thai restaurants I had not visited in the area, and went here for lunch today. I brought a couple of coworkers with me so we could see a variety of their different dishes as they were brought to the table. Nalinhy Market is authentic for flavor and style, it is what I would call Thai home cooking. I committed to myself before going that I was going to get something that I had not had before at a Thai restaurant so I got the Thaam Nouasoua. Thaam Nouasoua is a salad made with green papaya and vermicelli noodles and dressed with a dressing that includes citrus and definitely some fish sauce. This dish is naturally spicy and if you proceed to spoon the dressing into your mouth like soup you will really begin to feel the heat. The salad was very nice and unique from other dishes that I have had before. Plus I have no guilt over eating the saucy noodles that I normally get. There is also a market here, so I picked up a couple of items so that I can make some delicious Thai food at home this weekend. Glad to have found this location, it really is not that far of a drive from the Las Colinas area, so if you are looking for a unique spot with great food for lunch, break out of the office, and head to Nalinh Market.
