Nam Danh Seafood

Go in the off peak of after lunch at 2 - place is empty and food is served fast. Grilled oysters were cooked to perfection - we ordered one more serving to satisfy our cravings. The fresh seafood was also great. All for reasonable prices and no frills attached.

There was a tuk-tuk to drive us in from the alley. We went to another touristsy restaurant 2 days ago and they had a lot more customers. In comparison, the seafood here at Nam Danh is soooooo much better!! Fresh, properly cooked, just good amount of flavoring. I would definitely recommend this one over the other.

This is the ideal spot for an authentic local experience and delicious seafood at a great price! Tucked away from the more touristy seafood restaurants, it was buzzing with activity. We ordered octopus, seafood fried rice, shrimp, and scallops, and everything was fantastic. I truly had a wonderful time here!

Excellent food the seafood were all really fresh and firm. I could even taste the sweetness of the seafood. The staff were also really patient and helpful, they helped us confirm the pick up point for our grab (ie Southeast Asia version of uber) and they even had a small vehicle to send us to the pick up point. The ride to and from the main road to the restaurant is complimentary although you have to book the ride from the main road to the restaurant.

Easily the worst dining experience in Asia I've ever had. If there is a definition of a tourist trap, it's this shop. Awfully rude and indifferent stuff, disgusting food that and a very dirty shop. You don't need luxury to be decent. Keep away.

Nam Danh Seafood in Da Nang was a delightful change of pace from my usual diet of pho and banh mi. On a rainy Monday afternoon, a friend recommended we try this spot for lunch, and I’m glad I followed their advice. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming, perfect for a laid-back seafood feast. I let my friend do the ordering, and we ended up with a fantastic spread: crabs, squid, prawns, and snails. The highlight had to be the snails in a rich, buttery garlic sauce that was simply addictive. Every dish was fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. For all this, the total bill came out to around $26 for both of us—an incredible deal considering the variety and quality of the meal. As a thoughtful touch, after we finished, the staff gave us a ride on a golf cart to a spot closer to where we could pick up our ride, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re in Da Nang and craving fresh, delicious seafood, Nam Danh is definitely worth a visit. I’ll certainly be back!

Please go! It’s an amazing place to eat very very good for a reasonable price. You won’t regret! I ate two amazing dishes with spicy octopus and squids , returned super full and happy. Spent only 170,000 Dong for one person. Excellent quality, taste delicious, fast service, familiar environment, ultra fresh and cheap. Try it pls!

Yo, so we hopped in a cab to Nam Danh and walked for like two minutes, following the arrow signs. The place is huge, and it was so hot that they led us to an air-conditioned room to escape the heat. They had a wide variety of fresh seafood, and the food was delicious. The only downside was that they didn't clean the fish and crabs properly, leaving the guts inside. Language was a bit of a barrier for us tourists, but it seemed like mostly locals were eating there.
