Another Food Hall Opens Today and It Has Some of Vegas’s Best Chicken Tenders | Eater Vegas

"From the creators of Tekka Bar, Nama Nama is a sushi and hand-roll counter offering made-to-order hand rolls, cut rolls, poke bowls, nitro matcha, and sake on-the-go — a grab-and-go approach to quality sushi inside the food hall." - Janna Karel

Very exclusive restaurant. You can only get a reservation here if you’re staying at the hotel. Or if you’re a Member of the Aman Club. Clean facilities. Nice staff. Very attentive. Food is a nice mix of traditional and Modern Japanese. Super expensive so bring your credit cards. Worth a try if you can get in. But, the food is compatible to many other fine Japanese Restaurants.

Unforgettable Omakase experience with good friends. The chef, Takuma, exemplifies the genius behind Japan's gastronomic reputation, crafting dishes that transcend mere sustenance and evoke a deep appreciation for quality ingredients. Each bite reveals a meticulous attention to detail, reflecting the Japanese ethos of culinary mastery. This journey into Japan's food culture has left an indelible mark, igniting my passion for its rich flavors and innovative techniques.

Incredible service from Erick , Sheryn and the whole team- I didn't get everyone's name but everyone who served us was so kind and accommodating. Delicious high quality food - loved the sukiyaki - was super tender and all the fish very fresh and high quality. The hamachi Kama was huge and delicious. The beef tataki starter also great. Amazing ambiance - Aman is the best and has the best service. Highly recommend!

The crowd was only work dinner on a weeknight in December. Everything was good as it should be for the price. Update October 2024. While the sushi are good, I come back often but almost never get sushi, most of the menu is Japanese dish that are very delicate. I like the miso cod grilled vegetable the noodle soup. And my favorite the 2 salads on the menu are really really good. Beside the salads the reason I come so often is cause of the service. Great service the kitchen is fast.

I would give 0 star if I can. My experience at Nama at Aman New York was incredibly disappointing. We had made reservations in advance, looking forward to celebrating the birthday with a delightful evening. However, the entire ordeal left us thoroughly dissatisfied and angry. During our meal, a waitress(picture below) carelessly spilled an entire pot of hot tea on my friend, leaving her clothes/dress soaked completely. To make matters worse, the tea was scalding, resulting in burns on my friend’s back. What makes us even more angry is the restaurant's response was shockingly indifferent; they showed no concern for our distress and failed to offer any form of compensation or resolution. (We are not asking for that but they should be doing that!!!) As one of the most expensive fine dining establishments in New York, such a basic error is unacceptable. In our past fine dining experiences, when issues arose, restaurant managers typically offered complimentary services and apologized. However, here, we didn't receive even a modicum of the respect we deserved. I strongly advise against choosing Nama at Aman New York, totally because of their abysmal performance in service and addressing customer issues. I hope my experience serves as a warning, prompting others to avoid this restaurant that falls short in handling problems appropriately.

The four of us had dinner (a la carte not omakase) at Nama on a Sunday night of a long weekend. The overall comment on this restaurant is mediocre/subpar food, small food portions, poor service, and extremely overpriced menu. Food: Most of the dishes are average at best. It is hugely disappointing given the price of the dishes, and their portions are small to average. We ordered a sushi roll with uni and the uni was not sweet and a bit bitter/fishy. The shrimp tempura was mostly batter with skinny and soggy shrimps that didn't even taste very fresh. Even the wagyu was not as tender and fatty as I have tried at other restaurants. They do have great desserts especially the matcha tiramisu. In general, very disappointed especially with the high prices. Service: The server seemed very indifferent the whole time. We were brought to our table at our reservation time. The host seemed welcoming. However, once we have started ordering food, everything just went down hill. The first round of dishes (just two items) did not come until at least half an hour later. And then the second round of dishes took another 30-45 minutes after we finished our first round of food. And most of them are cold dishes or appetizers which should not have taken that long to prepare. The server was very diligent on refilling our sake glasses though. We ended up spending over 3.5 hours there for the meal. Ambience: The restaurant was very fine-dining looking. However, my friend's seat was sticky and she had to ask a server to wipe it down, which should not have happened at a high-end restaurant like this one. There were about 3-4 other tables on the Sunday night of the long weekend (should have been a red flag). Employees were courteous in general but the service was disappointing and unacceptable at such restaurant. DO NOT recommend going there. With this much money, there are PLENTY of better choices in the area. You are not missing out on anything if you skip out on this restaurant.

The server poured a cup of hot tea at my friend and did nothing except use a towel to dry the dress. Awful service and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. This could cause a serious burn, and they said the only thing they could do was dry the dress and even not say how. No customer should be treated this way. Do not go to a restaurant like this. There are so many other options.
