Me and my husband had gone to Namak for lunch and our experience was very very disappointing, no wonder we didn’t find anyone else other than ourselves.
As starters we ordered goolgapa and to our shock the puris were very stale and not at all fresh. Then we thought maybe main course might be good and ordered Mint lacha parrata, potato kulcha with Batti ka Buna Gosht, you won’t believe it, the kulcha and the parata was totally bland, not a pinch of salt added to it. I had to ask for salt separately. The Buna Gosht was a total flop. Along with the main course we had ordered Aloo side dish with pomegranates in it, and we got another shock after tasting the aloos, it was completely undercooked and didn’t have any taste, they just put 3 seeds of pomegranate. After all this disappointments we decided not to go for dessert, coz surely even that would have been an utter flop.
We’ve had similar dishes from other simple North Indian outlets, and they are 1000 times better in taste and service than this SO CALLED MICHELIN STAR NAMAK!!! 😡😡😡. These dishes for just the 2 of us costed 500+. We will never again visit Namak.
