Restaurant is run down and kinda dirty. Food was mediocre at best. The worst part was the service. The people running the restaurant seems to have no idea what they’re doing. My party and I spent close to 2 hours waiting for our order and only some of the items came out. Two pain courses failed to arrive. It food wasn’t even that good. Definitely not worth the wait. Would not recommend coming back here. This restaurant is a disaster. They also automatically charge an 18% tip for a party of TWO or more. So even if service is atrocious, you’ll still be forced to tip.

This was my first time coming to this place. First of all, as soon as we entered the inside, this place Stinks so badly. I am not sure how people tolerate sitting and eating in this place. We immediately decided to go sit outside. We ordered a Chapli kabob. I regret paying $42 for it. They mention $27 on the menu then after extra charges, it went up to $42. I’m not concerned about the $42, the hygiene of this place is very important. They have to make sure it is cleaned at all times. I went to talked to the owner/ manager, I showed him the pictures how dirty the bread holder was, he just ignored me. I won’t return here again until they fix this and keep it clean. Here are a few suggestions to the owners. - Get this place cleaned and keep is clean at all times - Get your stuff proper uniform. They have to look like they work in a restaurant; not home.

today i ate at Namak Mandi and had a nice experience. We ordered the chicken karahi and aloo gobi, both were yummy and satisfying. The chicken karahi was flavorful and juicy, with a yummy masala. The aloo gobi was good, nothing special. One thing was that the naan was served in a way that made it easy to become cold and hard quickly, so if you want to reorder naan, consider timing it wisely, we got an extra naan since we were four people and the 2 person serving karahi came with two. The atmosphere was peaceful, with some nice background music that wasn't too loud. I did notice when I was pouring the leftovr food into the boxes, that the food were a bit oilier than necessary, which might be something to look out for, especially for those with certain food preferences. It was certainly a task to avoid pouring the excess oil, but be mindful if you're sensitive to oily food. Plus, it was mostly at the bottom and we didnt really get a strong heavy oily taste while eating it. Anyways it was a good dining experience the food was delicious and filling. I was too hungry to take photos at the time lol, but I snapped some of the leftovers when I got home.

It was a five star rating but when saw the bill they got a tip without our permission, now I give them 3 star for that, the bill is also attached. Best hospitality, Delicious food specially Lamb Kabob and Samosas Chat is the best. DON’T FORGET TO HAVE A SALTY LASSI.

Namak Mandi in Falls Church is a hidden gem for anyone who appreciates rich, flavorful dishes that are made with care and tradition. It is a good place but they need to work on their decor's. Out side area is good. We ordered the chicken Kharai (which was not good canned tomatoes maked it sweet just a suggestion use real tomatoes) but the fish and chappli kabba platter were amazing regular naan and Garlic naan were also good. Service was great food did came on time 20-25 min wait. Server were very nice.

Choose this restaurant for the amount of reviews given and the stars that uphold, however, I have to give my feedback based on my experience on others restaurants across the country. We ordered full chicken kharai, and chicken bhoti. although the food was very tasty the portioned was small and pricey. $40 for a quarter leg Kharai and $22 chicken boti it is too much. I never seen a full Kharai with many legs in it. Chickens have only 2 legs. lol. They gave us the quarter legs cut in 3 pieces and the chicken boti looks like it was the meat of a quarter leg. The service was..ehhh. Not friendly at all. I was having high expectations after driving a long distance but I am given 4 stars for the taste.

I wish there could have been an option for no stars at all. One of the worst experiences ever. We were a group of 11 who went there yesterday at around 2. Most of their menu items weren't even available and whatever was there was stale and incredibly bad. From Nihari which clearly had an after taste and water added to it seemed like a defrosted version, lamb with smell and old salad, we were not able to enjoy a single thing! The pulao with chicken had skin still on and ended up paying $219 for a meal that we couldn't even eat. On top of that their server was extremely rude. Never going back there again!

Not sure who has given them less than 5 stars but this place has Heavenly food and their customer service is exceptional.. highly recommend them to any desi food lover!! 5 star and not a single decimal less!!

I went to Namak Mandi upon my friend's suggestion who had been there couple of times. We found parking at the back of the building easily. Entering into the restaurant it gives a total desi kind of vibes, it's quite large space and looks pretty kool. We were party of four ladies and were seated promptly by very sweet lady server. We ordered Chapli kebab, nihari, chicken boneless kebabs, Mandi with chicken and Lahori fish. Luckily all our meals came out in a very reasonable amount of time and everything was freshly made and steaming hot. I must say everything that we ordered was tasted great nothing that I can find have any issue. Service was reasonable too. Since it was a Saturday night, restaurant was full and there was only one lady server and one buss boy, to me this needs to be better. We lastly ordered some doodh Patti and it was delicious too. Overall we had a great experience and I do recommend this place.

Came across this restaurant as I was driving by, and decided to check it out. Glad I did, because the food was delicious! The employees treated me with kindness, and the food was fresh. I liked it so much that I've ended up coming back here a few times after that with some friends and family. Highly recommend!

Came here for iftaar one evening with the fam and it was sooo delish! Food was very flavorful. The outside seating was very comfy too. We left very satisfied! The only reason why I gave it 4/5 star is bc the portions were smaller than we thought & pricy for the amount. Overall, great dining experience.

If you're looking for authentic Pakistani food, this is the place for you. I highly recommend the chicken karhai and the chapli kabobs. Both orders came with the largest naans I've ever seen. The ambience is culturally decorated and clean for the most part. The food is appropriately the star of the show here.

Was not expecting such too class food quality. This place has hands down one of the best and fresh Karahi, Biryani and Chai(Tea) you can find. One of my friend's wanted to check out Pakistani food and we were near Namak Mandi. So, I decided to head there. We ordered Samosa for appetizer and they were probably some of the most tasteful Samosas I had in recent times. Both the coriander sauce and tamarind sauce with it was perfect. For Entrees we had Karahi and I was pleasantly surprised by how much flavor it had. Reminded me of home. Then we had Biryani which was prepared fresh and the amount of flavor every grain of rice had was heart warming. I really appreciate Pakistani restaurants which make fresh food for you. Service and courtesy levels were through the roof. Will return and try more food. 5/5 for reminding me of home

Although I had to wait extra 30 mins for the order to be ready when I went to pick it up, the food was good. I ordered chapli kabab and haleem with naan for two people and was pleased. Would definitely recommend.

We were a party of 20 people. We made reservations a week in advance for 7 pm on Friday, and they even call a day before to verify we were coming. That was really nice. When we got there, they did not attend us right away. We basically order a couple of the same dishes . This is to make it less complicated for everybody. We order Chicken Karai, Chapli Kebab, Nahari and one person was vegan, so we order for her Okra, Yellow Daal and bangan (eggplant), Rice plate and Roti. We also order as appetizer chicken nuggets and samosa. After 50 minutes wait, they bring the chicken nuggets and no samosas. After another hour they brought the rest of the food. They were out of bangan they will replace with aloo gobi (cauliflower with potatoes). When the order came it was aloo palak (spinach with potatoes). We left at that. Waited long enough. The food was good, but everything was way too high in Hot pepper. The Yellow Daal was soo hot, that even the grownups could not eat it. The service was not great, it was barely OK. They only had 6 can of soda. They ran out of soda. When you are hungry and have to wait almost 2 hours to get your food, it does not make you feel good about the place. Especially other diners came in after us, eat and left before we got our food. And they did not preorder either, they were scanning the menu. This restaurant probably cannot handle more than 6 people at a time. The kitchen might not be equipped to serve several people at the same time. I would go again just to confirm if they will be able to handle 6 or less people per table.

felt so homely, kavar was a very lively waiter. The presentation of the food was very authentic! only reason I'm giving it 4 was because there was a lot of oil on the food and I'm not used to that.

Tried this restaurant, saw good reviews of this restaurant on Google. Here's mine. 1. Excellent chapli kabab, must try 2. Average Chicken Karahi. Not the one from Namak Mandi though. 3. Horrible Butter Chicken, never order it. Overall good ambiance, good sitting outside. Good experience.

Authentic Pakistani food! They make the Best Chapli Kababs. All the food we tried is delicious. Ample portions to share with family. Very spacious & organized restaurant to bring family. Must visit one time to experience for yourself.

Terrible Experience. Badly over priced Lamb Karahi was already cooked goat meat loaded with oil served in Karahi .. It was shocking to see such high bill om such lousy food at Lunch .. First and Last Trip ...

I have tried twice this place and both time very disappointed.. Worst food and worst customer service and we were overcharged completely disappointed neverAgain.

I am not sure how do people manage to get 5 stars reviews for their business, but this business for sure has generated fake ones. The food quality was very bad I am a kabob lover but they serve the worst one, I ordered beef Cobeda and they wanted to fool me with the chicken kofta kabob and were still insisting that it was the right order. And you never get the option to choose your tipping since it's already taken lol.

Planned a fever order at 2PM. It's 3:37 and we're still waiting. Beyond unreasonable, totally unacceptable wait time. Has thrown our entire day out of whack

OK, I see two spectrums of reviews. Here is my take on food. everything was good, and portion sizes were decent. The seating allowed my 9 months old to sit on the cushions and I could enjoy eating. Very rare in desi restaurants. Their food is bland, which was good for us as we had an age range so everyone was OK eating it. We went it after lunch before dinner time so it was just us and one more party so it felt relaxing. Customer service was good, but they were young folks and no, they weren't overly cheery. I found them to be a bit shy, but they were nice. I liked the outside too, but was too cold for us to sit outside. I would order their chicken kabob for kids, it was not spicy at all.

I am pretty sure all these reviews are fake. Honestly, so bad. I already feel my stomach churning. Everything is like old and super greedy not to the mention dirty.

I would not recommend this restaurant because of the following reasons: 1-Not kids friendly, They don't have anything for kids at all. 2- They will make you wait for food for about an hour. 3- The servers are so disrespectful and careless. 4- They will charge you a massive gratuity fee. 5- Their food is expensive and not delicious.

The most amazing food i ever had, the best service definitely recommend this place we drove an hour to try the place. If you are looking for a good Pakistani restaurant you must try this. Everything was exceptional good.

Shiwari Namak Mandi is always delicious, and today I had among the best karahis I've had in my life. Highly recommend for fans of Pakistani food and those seeking to try.

This place is amazing. Their baked lamb is so tenderer and spiced perfectly. I recommend everyone to try this place. The place is nice and spacious. The owners are very accommodating. They are doing an amazing job with the selection in food. I have tried many places in the area and this one has its own taste.

Just had dinner here and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the kabobs, especially the chaplee kabobs. The food was fresh and hot. The staff were kind and made us feel special. It did take awhile for the food to come but they kept us informed (two larger parties before us and a huge catering order). My daughter couldn't stop doing a happy dance because she enjoyed the food so much. I am not sure about the men bathroom but the ladies bathroom and that hallway could use some love and care. Will 100% be going back.

Excellent food from the delicious Peshwari/Afghan cuisine. Must try Shinwari Chursi Lamb KaDahi. The staff is very friendly, the owner himself, Mr Sami Khattak is from the land of hospitality, Pakhtunkhwa, he know how to serve to the guests!

Yesterday, I went with my family to this restaurant, because I saw their review was 3.5 and above, I ordered chapli kabab, lamb karahi, and kabuli pulao with a mixed platter of the grill. what I found first when we seated on the table, was a cockroach, yes, believe it or not, I called the waiter, he removed it and said nothing. however, he said the order would be served after 20 min, and the order came after one hour. The chapli kabab was not up to the point, with no taste no aroma of the chapli kabab, the nan they served with mixed plater was dry and cold, he did not bring our order for Kabuli pulao, but it was added to the bill, later he correct it, when we pointed out. the other food was also not good at all. I will request all of the customers who use their food, to please be honest, because people like us believe in the reviews left on their site. I will not 100% recommend that restaurant for anything.

Tasteless Delights" lives up to its name with flavorless and uninspiring food. Poor taste, lack of seasoning, and high prices make this restaurant a major letdown. Look elsewhere for a satisfying dining experience.

Not sure why this place states that it's open during lunch time. Tried to eat in at 1 and was told they only severe hookah at that time. The kid at the front was pretty rude as well. The food isn't bad when I did get to try it for take out once.

I highly recommended this restaurant it's amazing they serve generous portions of food every day they have a fresh food it's hard to find a place that serving fresh food daily specially during all going with a pandemic , I visited this place couple times it's awesome every time !

The food is good, but one day not oily the other very oily. What's absolutely disgusting and the cause for a lower rating is the ladies bathroom. Out of toilet paper and paper towels okay, the waiter is a guy. But it's still the pandemic and there's one huge bottle of hand soap so crusted over, you don't want to touch it! And the was a torn washcloth hanging in one of the stalls, what?!! Do you wipe yourself with that after #1, or worse? Is that to dry your hands but it's in the stall? I don't want to know and sorry I ever saw it, but I will not be going back. Their naan is absolutely delicious.

My partner and I order the lamb Karahi, chicken Mandi, and a mango lassi. Let me start by saying I've had many mango lassis in the DMV area and across the east coast, but this is the best I've ever had! And the food was absolutely spot on, full of flavor!!! Great job guys, keep up the good work. Will definitely be back.

The food was outstanding, the naan is always very fresh. If you like meat, this is place for you! Good portions and good pricing. Good experience and service all around! Highly recommend this spot.

. Went with my whole family and enjoyed the food as well as service . We ordered several dishes and their specialty dishes . All were delicious in taste . They have plenty of room inside as well as outside and environment was excellent. Definitely recommend all communities to visit and enjoy the food and service .

Excellent food, service and ambiance. I ordered butter chicken with garlic naan and mixed kebab with garlic naan. I highly recommend eating here and the butter chicken as well as the mixed Kabab was delicious. Portions were plentiful and the garlic naan was really tasty. The staff was very friendly, courteous, respectful, and overall the food didn't disappoint at all. I highly recommend this place to eat!

The best food in the area! Very clean and very tasty food. The chef is well known for his food and does not disappoint!! Excellent service as well. The staff is very kind and accommodating. You won't regret coming here.
