I had the pleasure of tasting one of the finest Biriyanis in years. The dish was a true representation of authentic Dum Biriyani—richly aromatic, layered with complex flavors, and cooked to perfection. The experience was enhanced by attentive customer service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. What makes this restaurant stand out is its remarkable value: prices are significantly lower than other Indian establishments in town, yet the quality remains uncompromised. It is a rare combination of authenticity, affordability, and excellence. Without hesitation, I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10. I look forward to returning soon to explore their South Indian specialties, beginning with the Idli.

I was in Croatia for 1 week and ate at this place TWICE! That's how good they are. Walking distance from lower and upper city.Great cocktails.Amazing food! What we ordered: Chicken biriyani- the best! Ordered twice! Chicken on the bone and so very succulent, fluffy rice with the right amount of gravy in it.Legit stuff.I mean where can you find takeout chicken biriyani that doesn't serve dried chicken or breast meat- SOLD! Prawns malwani: so-so.small prawns.Not a fan Chicken Labrabdor: Good! Chicken was tandoori prepped before being curried- it has that good char.Nice! Chicken wings: good.Not spicy.Nice char.Succulent and juicy. Chicken kebab: was okay,not bad but not a favourite. Gulabs: good! Ask for the spicy chilli sauce- its like a ground chilli paste but cooked so your tummy won't get upset by it. Take-out containers- superb!can double up as plates. We had Chicken Biryani and Chicken Kebab. Both are just a little bit spicy (I'm not sure if they intentionally made it not spicy because I told the waiter that I don't want it to be very spicy). The Biryani is very good. I missed eating Biryani, the taste was so familiar, it was comforting. The kebab is actually a zesty fried chicken. I loved it! The sauce, it's like a chutney, is tasty as well. We were seated in the outside table which is actually at the streets which means the distance between tables are almost non existent. During the time we ate, guests near our table were smoking which could be bothersome to some. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the latte! I also had a hot chocolate to go which I find very steep for 4 euros. And I think the server forgot the kebab because it came much later than the biryani. Anyhow, overall it's a pleasant experience. I would love to come back again.

Excellent Indian Restaurant! Exceptionally high quality food and delicious taste! Very nice interior and friendly staff as well. Prices are a bit higher but totally reasonable for the quality.

Namaste India serves delicious and authentic Indian food. The curries and tandoori dishes are full of flavor, especially the butter chicken. The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality is worth it. Perfect for anyone craving real Indian tastes.

Very good Indian restaurant located in the center of Zagreb. Delicious Veg Pacoras! Super recommended panner and coconut chicken. The mango lassi was also delicious! A bit pracey for Zagreb and the portions werent that big for the price. Flat bread was one slice and had to be payed for. Overall fast service and delicious food though!

Absolute gem of a restaurant !! Top quality authentic indian food, very friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere with Indian songs playing in the background making it a delightful experience.

My wife and I visited Namaste during our honeymoon on our last night in Croatia. I rarely leave reviews unless the place is exceptionally wonderful or exceptionally poor. I’m happy to proclaim this restaurant as the former. From the moment we sat down the service was superb. The servers greeted us immediately as I was helped with my seat and drinks were ordered. The food arrived very quickly and was delicious. While my main course was being prepared, one of the men came out to ask if I would like my dish a little extra spicy (I had made a comment previously to our server about liking spice). I had never been asked that before! It felt like a unique dish was being personalized and prepared for me. We stayed for espresso and desert and left filled from our amazing experience at Namaste. Highly recommend!
