This was a surprise of a small restaurant. Excellent food with large portions. We came for an early lunch, which shortly became crowded. Excellent food choices. The staff was courteous and friendly. As always, if you enjoyed my review, please smash the "Like" button. Thank you.

This restaurant just saved the day for us in Vermont! Most places were packed or already closed during the fall pick, but it went above and beyond by staying open late to accommodate all the visitors, even though their usual closing time is 9 PM. We ordered chicken dumplings, chicken biryani, goat biryani, veg biryani, and chicken kadai with plain rice. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared, with the biryanis being standout favorites, perfectly spiced and cooked just right. The chicken kadai had a rich, savory sauce that paired beautifully with the rice. The only slight miss was the dumplings, which could’ve been a bit better, but overall, the food was excellent. What really made the experience memorable was the service. Despite the restaurant being crowded, the staff handled everything with warmth and efficiency, making sure everyone was taken care of. Highly recommend this spot for its food and hospitality!

Namaste is truly a gem and one of our favorite spots since moving to Vermont. The cozy, inviting atmosphere sets the perfect tone, and their service is always attentive and friendly. As for the food, it’s nothing short of incredible—delicious and full of flavor. If you’re in town, we can’t recommend it enough!

We had an excellent meal at Namaste. The food is excellent and it is very family friendly. It has a relaxed vibe and the staff is warm and welcoming. The portions are generous and the menu has something for everyone. My 8 year old had never had Indian food before and loved it. We will be back !

What a nice surprise. Three of us ordered three different curries. (You can choose the heat level). Mine (lamb/coconut milk) was delicious, as were all the others. Friday evening, so most of the tables were taken and service was great. Also a fellow arrived with a guitar set-up and played quiet, perfectly appropriate and pleasant back-ground music.

Absolutely fantastic Nepali spot here in Montpelier. An absolute gem. Better than most of the places I've ever attended in Western Mass. The thali, saag paneer and biryani were highlights for me. The sweets were also great and the Chai is the best I've had in the US. GO HERE.

Excellent customer service and food. The restaurant was clean and our orders were out rather quickly.
