It's such a tidy and nice place! Everything is so clean. Food are all great! The naan is the best we have had in Denver. It's so soft and airy. We had a great meal there.

Google
This restaurant was recommended by a friend as a place to go for amazing Indian with my adult kids. She was not wrong. The lovely family that runs this restaurant was attentive from the moment we got there. My kids shared the Namaste sampler for 2 and I had bagain bharta. It was all exceptional. They do a big take out business so it was easy to get a table for dining in. It was also probably the most economical meal we had in Denver. Give it a try! You won’t regret it!

Google
Great quality for a good price. Double the naan of any other Nepali/Indian place but for the same price ($5). Chicken Vindaloo was on point. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Google
Always a delightful experience at Namaste! The food is always exceptional & staff is absolutely delightful! IMHO.. Namaste has the best Indian food in the Denver area! I've frequented this for restaurants for over 30 years and have always loved the food, people & atmosphere! Everyone that I have introduced to the restaurant has become regulars as well! Well done! & NAMASTE! ❤️ Btw .. the pricrs remain reasonable!

Google
Excellent food and kind service. Namaste has been a Lakewood gem for many years (2001) and we're glad they have survived the pandemic. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food you receive. We ordered their lamb kabobs and their veggie platter. It comes with naan and rice dessert. We will be back.

Google
Aaaaaamazing!! Husband and I have been coming here for years and they consistently crush my spirits since I'm trying to cook Nepalese and Indian food at home. Their food is exquisite. I'll keep practicing. Sonya and Deepak are the epitome of professionalism and kindness. Highly recommended

Google
Came to Denver as tourists. The staff was very polite and good. Ordered special for 2 combo. Sorry to all my American brothers/sisters on behalf of all the Indians for serving you this in the name of Indian food. Tandoori chicken was dry, had food coloring, no flavor. Lamb was hard and the curry tasted like canned tomatoes, the prawns were rubbery. Daal didn’t have any seasoning. I selected medium plus spice, but the food was very bland! Hands down one of the worst Indian food I had. I would appreciate lesser items with better quality. It was literally inedible. Threw it into the trash.

Gopika Raveendran

Google
One of my favorite places to eat! Authentic and more than enough food to share. The taste and quality is right on the money and the staff is lovely. It's definitely some of the best Indian I've had in recent memory Yummy food and exceptional service. We had namasthe special . Delicious, Indian home-style healthy cooking.

Yelp
I've been coming to Namaste since I was a teenager and I will keep coming back! The food is always consistent and delicious. The staff has always been so good to us. It feels like a piece of home coming into Namaste. They have my favorite chicken tikka masala + garlic naan bread in town. Ordering a medium is always not too spicy, but just the right flavor. They've recently remodeled this restaurant and so it now feels even brighter and more open! A great space!

Yelp
I have been a loyal customer of Namaste for years. This is a small, family-owned establishment that has endured the difficulties without compromising quality products and without price gouging. Their food is so fresh with deliveries arriving daily, and the Saag Paneer (my fav) is always bright green and never that dull dark color that indicates being overcooked. I'm not sure if they still have their lunch buffet but I went to that and also had dinner there more times than I can count. I will always drive to eat here no matter where I live.

Doug H.

Yelp
I placed an order on their website. When I got to the checkout, they automatically added in the tip! No! If I don't get service, there will be no tip. If there is poor service, there will be no tip. If I eat inside the restaurant and get good service, I will give a tip. People at Taco Bell don't get tips. Cashiers at grocery stores don't get tips. So last night I chose to eat something else. Next time I eat inside Namaste, I might not leave a tip because they unethically added a tip for a takeout order. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!

Yelp
It wasn't that great the place was totally empty service was friendly at least. not sure if i will give this place another shot

ML Ruiz-Williams

Yelp
I love this place. I always get the tali dish for 2. So I have leftovers. Medium is great. Service is lovely. Mango Lassi is top notch h. And I am addicted to the saag paneer.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem! My wife and I have been eating their food for probably six years, mostly from door dash though. We have eaten in maybe two times before. But the quality of the food has always been phenomenal! It's very quiet inside the restaurant, almost relaxing. The main server is a gentleman. I believe he is the owner, and he is sweet, as sweet can be! My go-to is lamb Masala. My wife's changes up, but we both have had the chicken Tika, shrimp Tika, and multiple of the sags. And every single dish has never disappointed. If you like Indian/Nepalese food. This should be your go-to! Quick tip: get the Chai tea. It's homemade and to die for!

Dawn T.

Yelp
Some of the best Indian I've ever had in Denver. The Namaste Special for two begins with samosas with a delicate crispy crust and lush savory potato filling. The dishes include chicken tandoori (moist & tender), saag paneer, shrimp Tikka masala (I'm in love), daal, lamb curry and rice pudding. Served with the most fluffy, light and crispy/chewy naan ever. I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
Another day, another new Indian restaurant to try. We came in Saturday around 7:30pm, and there was only one other group there. That's always a red flag when a place is empty! The service was slow and unattentive. We ordered vegetable samosa. The inside was pretty bland. The lentil soup was hearty and flavorful . We also ordered vegetable biryani, chicken tika, and lamb jafreeze. We got most of the dishes but Had to wait a while for the lamb. The place was empty, the service should have been better, more attentive and all the food should have come out at once. The chicken was bland and tasted like boiled chicken just put in a sauce. The lamb was much better. We ended our meal with gulab jamun and rice kheer. The gulab jamun was cold and soggy. I ended up not eating any of it. The kheer was better, but nothing great. Overall this place wasn't good, and we probably won't be back.

Yelp
BUFFET IS OPEN! It's delicious! So happy the Indian buffet is open again. I've missed it so much. I guess I got spoiled having a little bit of everything. And all the Riata I want! The Naan was so delicious! They also have a great outdoor space too. There's setback from the road so you have to look for them but they're right there! I'd be a lovely quiet spot to eat outside and have some of the best Indian food in town.

Yelp
The food was tasty but they could dial back a bit on the salt. I got delivery so can't speak to service or ambiance.

Carole K.

Yelp
Delicious food, good service and quiet enough for conversation among our group of senior citizens which is greatly appreciated!

M F.

Yelp
Very delicious food! Having never tried Nepalese food, I was pleasantly surprised with the flavors contained in the chicken chow chow. My table also order chicken tikka masala, which was comfort in a bowl. We also had chicken koorma; I'm not a koorma person so I can't say whether that was good or not, but the guest who had ordered it said it was great! We also had cheese naan which was a great addition to our meals. Will return here again, and may consider trying more items than our usual picks, since they seem to have good flavors and spices here!
google avatar

Lianna N.

Yelp
This food was delicious! They accommodated us even though we just arrived from the airport around 30 minutes before they closed. They served us so quickly and were so friendly. I'd definitely go back to try more of their delicacies!

Mary F.

Yelp
Excellent service, excellent food!! The staff is wonderful!!! They are always willing to make your food to the spice level you request. Can't say enough good things about Namaste.
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
Great food, especially the butter chicken. It had a good complexity of spice flavor, not just tomato tasting. We also had poppadoms and garlic naan, and split a Indian beer. I can recommend everything we had, the naan especially was pillow-y and perfectly fresh baked! Staff was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Location was easy to find, just off Wadsworth, but you kinda had to know it was there, not something you would see driving by.

Yelp
We've been here a couple of times when visiting family in Denver, and my family that lives here are weekly regulars of this delicious place. Everyone working at the restaurant is really friendly and it's clear that they make a successful business for themselves not only with their excellent food but additionally with personalized customer service. Our most recent visit made it evident that this is a favorite of the locals. Not only was my family catching up about the lives and holiday events of the friendly hostess and server, but I heard her chatting with several other couples about their families and everyone was on a first name basis. Feels like you're eating with family instead of at a restaurant. The restaurant itself is very spacious with lovely interior design of rich colors and luxurious accents. The buffet has a great spread of vegetarian and meat options. I asked about gf choices and nearly everything on the buffet is safe minus a couple items. They even brought me out fresh rice to reduce my risk of contamination with the nearby naan. My favorite item of the day was the sweet potato marsala and a chickpea flour fried bit of deliciousness that was gf. Everything we had there was good and we left so full we couldn't even talk about food the rest of the day. Great family owned place, competitive buffet prices, and gf celiac friendly.

Dan H.

Yelp
We just got takeout from Namaste; it's the best saag paneer, chai, and naan we've had in the denver area.
google avatar

Amanda B.

Yelp
Veggie samosas were perfect, all of our food was amazing! I love the ancient 1970's plates the food was served on, too. A bit of nostalgia!
google avatar

Dana M.

Yelp
I just ordered takeout, but the entire was clean and the host was kind and polite. I ordered the chana masala (chickpeas) and even though I'm a meat lover I ended up eating the entire container when I got home. The flavor gives you that indian comfort food I was needing ;) Will for sure go back!

Yelp
We've ordered delivery from here before but were close to the restaurant and decided to eat there. It's a quiet little place with a very loud weight lifting gym next door, so we heard a lot of banging and rattling when weights were being dropped, not terrible just slightly annoying and not the restaurants fault. The food was super hot when it came out and the rice was steaming! It was even more delicious in person. I do wish that medium spicy was more spicy, it really was mild, so maybe ask for spicy when you order. They served a lovely hot chai as well with free refills.
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
Another reviewer stated that it was empty on a Saturday night...all I can tell you it was hoping on a Sunday. The Grubhub and take on crowd keep the staff running. We did a sit down and it was well worth it. When they said hot they mean it, not that tourist "hot". But not the hot that kills the flavor. Too bad I was in town just for a visit if I lived here this would be my go to restaurant.
google avatar

Sonia I.

Yelp
Very delicious. You can never go wrong with chicken tiki masala. So delicious. We had the lamb curry too, which was good. This was the first place where I have seen cheese inside the naan. Also, it was a very large portion of rice that comes with the meal. All of the food was great. Definitely coming back. We also ate on a Thursday night so it was not packed at all and we were seated immediately. Service was great.

Dion P.

Yelp
We have been going to Namaste in Lakewood Colorado for years. Have been seeing a constant decline in service and food quality. Arrived at the front door and no one was there to greet us, we had to wait to get someone's attention to get seated. There were no other customers present. We had to flag someone down to order our food, to get our bill and to pay our bill. We ordered a bottle of wine and this is the only restaurant we have been to that drops off the bottle of wine at the table already open. Find that curious. The onion naan was overstuffed with onions like it was an onion sandwich. Never used to be like that. The chicken tandoori was so dry and appeared to be reheated more than once. Not fresh at all. Asked for a box to take leftovers in and requested more sauce that came with the tandoori. It came with very little sauce and had used it on what we ate. We were told the sauce would cost $10. Really? Will never return to this place. The busiest it got on a Friday night were 2 other tables. Poor customer service, slow and the servers were very distracted and paid no attention to customers. The food was terrible!
google avatar

Yelp
We LOVE Namaste! This family is so amazing! Sitting at their table is just like sitting at home. This atmosphere is so comfortable, the staff extremely attentive. Everything we have tried has been delicious! Namaste is one of our favorite homes to relax and enjoy!

Yelp
This is the place that got my hubby and I hooked on Indian food 20 years ago, and they're still among the best we've ever had. The food is all fresh and delicious. Rich spices; thick, delicious sauces; all around excellent food. Service was quick and efficient. Some of our favorites: shrimp masala, chicken tikka masala, samosas, gulab jamun, rose lassi.
google avatar

Kyle K.

Yelp
This was a very good meal. The five of us did it family style, each got a meal and a couple of apps, and didn't try anything I didn't like/wouldn't eat again... save maybe the biryani wasn't the best. Have seen a comment or two about the service being slow, but this isn't an American style restaurant service-wise. Please don't go expecting to be out in 15 minutes. Go expecting a nice long meal. It reminded me of being back and eating at restaurants in Europe. We will be back.
google avatar

Jennifer C.

Yelp
Quiet and pleasant restaurant. We stopped for lunch and ordered the Namaste Special for two which offered a nice variety. The shrimp curry was especially delicious.

Bekah Y.

Yelp
Rice wasn't authentic Indian style, had peas and carrot pieces in it. Saag paneer didn't taste right, seemed to being missing good spices. Overall disappointing flavor.

Yelp
My oh my.... This is based on 3 visits to Namaste Restaurant. First trip, with Hubs for a Friday evening dinner. Hubs and I tried the Assorted Platter, consists of combination of meat and vegetable (meat & vegetable samosa, chicken & vegetable pakora). Hubs main entree was Lamb Biryani and I ordered the Shrimp Tandoori. The shrimp is seasoned with fresh spices and roasted in tandoor. Hubs likes his Lamb Biryani and I like the flavor of the Shrimp plus the added bonus the Shrimps were Enormous!! Its rare to get those Enourmous Shrimps in town for a Tandoori dish. We had the Chai Tea as part of the beverage. @@@@@@@@@@ Then the 2nd trip to Namaste Restaurant. Sunday March 29th 2009, for the Buffet. Both Hubs and I are not WOW with the selection, for this I give their buffet 3 stars. While I was there, I confirmed with the staff with regards to my reservation to bring 20 friends for a dinner one of the weekday evenings. @@@@@@@@@@ In the afternoon of Thursday April 2nd 2009, I received a call from Namaste Restaurant Staff for my reservation confirmation. It was all set. When I arrived yesterday as usual early, making sure all is well, our table are all prepared for our party. 17 friends and I went to Namaste Restaurant for a Thursday evening dining galore. The dishes that my friends ordered were Nepali Momo, Nepali Chow Chow, Nepali Chili Chicken, Lamb Shahi Korma, Chicken Tandoori, Non-Veggi Thali etc etc. For that evening, I ordered the Shrimp Vindaloo EXTRA, EXTRA Spicy. When my main entree arrived, the Shrimp Vindaloo is spicy the way I like it, when the spicyness level lingers around my lips and my mouth. For the beverage, I ordered Rose Lassi. I requested it to be less sweet. It came just right for my taste bud. Some of my friends like the dishes that they ordered, some have better in other restaurants. All in all, I would give 3.5 to 4 stars for Namaste. I would definitely return but not as yet until I have try all the Indian and Nepali restaurants here in Colorado and compare on what they can or have to offer. I hope Namaste Restaurant, will be around many more years to come. FYI, Namaste Restaurant is run by families of a father, his sons, cousins and staffs originally from Nepal. The service was prompt and the staffs who I have been communicating were gracious and friendly. Thank you Namaste Restaurant.

Abbey G.

Yelp
This has gone downhill from years previous. No lunch buffet. Saag paneer was made with canned spinach. You know how you can taste the metallic tin of canned mushy spinach. Yep that is what treated me with first bite. The Panner was rubber, like chewing gum. The pappadum were burnt. The mi t chutney was neon green, the sign of food coloring added to mint syrup and the lamb samosa was dry lamb, no seasoning and dough under fried. Mad at myself that I let nostalgia bring me here when I had 3 other good options for I DIA. Food inLakewood. 26$ wasted.
google avatar

Peace Y.

Yelp
To be fully accurate, this is four and a half stars. The buffet is fairly consistent, and good for vegetarians. Off the menu, the food is better. I order a thali and have three meals. My partner would get two. Chai arrives unsweetened, a plus in my book. Service is prompt without being stifling 99 percent of the time. The other percent is neglectful. But, hey, it's buffet and I could have yelled out, since I was the only customer there. Spice levels are slightly low, so if you like hot, consider ordering a level up. I've been coming here since 2005. I'd say it's my comfort food restaurant. I dra....bring any of my friends who like the cuisine.

Yelp
Excellent service with great food. Would recommend when thinking of where to eat in Lakewood. Great to-go service!
google avatar

Nikki G.

Yelp
Namaste is one of my all time Lakewood spots! I have ordered and eaten inside the restaurant as well as preferred pick up to enjoy at home. The ambiance is casual. It's great for a quick hang with friends or family, but can also serve as a casual date night out. The service is always great! It's usually not very busy, so the service is prompt. This may give you the impression that it's not good, but don't let the empty dining room scare you away! The food is so tasty and authentic. My boyfriend and I usually order the Namaste Special (For Two). This takes all the guesswork out of ordering and the quantity is enough to have leftovers for the next day! It includes several appetizers, entree items, and a dessert pudding. I would definitely recommend Namaste!

Amy S.

Yelp
Don't let the strip mall exterior fool you. Namaste can rival any Indian place in town. We had the chicken korma and chicken tikka masala and the complexity of flavor was amazing. The garlic naan was melt-in-your-mouth. Service is friendly and attentive. They also have a lot of gluten- and dairy-free options. We'll be back!

Jim L.

Yelp
Very authentic. Not as good as Zaika, but close, but we had a very good experience with Namaste.
google avatar

Simon D.

Yelp
Lovely food! Just had the lunch buffet with my partner and mom. The food was hot and very delicious-especially the zucchini and edamame curry. The onion salad (thinking Bombay) was a lovely spicy complement to our food. And the dal (thinking it was Toor Dal) was great! It is Nepalese and the food isn't so spicy, but wow does it taste good. We'll be back!
google avatar

Genevieve S.

Yelp
Just moved to the area and wanted to try an Indian restaurant. My husband and I got the meal for two and it was a perfect introduction to this restaurant! The meal for two includes chicken tandoori, several smaller versions of mains, naan, and an app. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! It could honestly be called a meal for three based on how much food you receive. Their drinks are also very affordable. We will definitely be back!

Dixie C.

Yelp
The BEST Indian restaurant by far! Food is delicious and service is great. This is our go to place. We've never been disappointed!
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
The food is very good. Would give a higher rating, but we had delivery to a nearby hotel and there were no utensils or napkins included. Always fun to eat with your hands.
google avatar

Leo S.

Yelp
This place is amazing! One of the most authentic indian restaurants in Denver, I went there one time for lunch with my wife & they had buffet with it was really delicious, so I went back there with my sister & wife for dinner it was just incredible we had the chicken masala & tandori chicken. Also for dessert I had the rice pudding (I'm mexican) it taste like arroz con leche. Highly recommended
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
If you're looking for flavor rich, fresh, well cooked Indian/Nepalese cuisine, this is not it. The food lacks flavor & spice & was overcooked, plus the amount of rice provided for 2 entrees at their dinner prices was nill - rice. I try to support local businesses, especially during COVID (always including tip$), but that doesn't mean quality should suffer.
google avatar

Victor B.

Yelp
Oh Namaste, how could I have let it be such a long time since returning to you?! What a gem of an Indian restaurant tucked away in Lakewood. On this visit we had the platter for 2 which showcases the best of the menu for, you guessed it, 2 patrons. Everything from the veggie samosas to the chicken tandoori was delicious. The shrimp, so deliciously tender. The lamb, succulent and flavorful. Even the dessert rice dish was wonderfully creamy and just the right sweetness. I'm definitely looking forward to our return visit!
google avatar

Cindy L.

Yelp
This review is for the lunch buffet only. Good service and a clean, pleasant restaurant. The buffet offerings were either vegetarian or chicken, and they had a very limited selection. I was unimpressed however I'd be willing to try it again if there were a larger selection at lunch.

Suzzan K.

Yelp
There is no lunch buffet. Ended up ordering a few items that just didn't hit the spot. Service was fine, staff is nice. Food was OK
google avatar

Amy N.

Yelp
I am usually a very loyal Little India customer but decided to support the neighborhood Indian restaurant instead. I was NOT disappointed! Amazing flavor and delivery was fast. My kids are the Chicken Korma mild and I enjoyed the Chicken Tiki Masala for 3 days because of the generous helping. The garlic naan was amazing as well. Do not get turned off by the price. It is very comparable to other Indian restaurants and again, it was easily 3 meals. They have another loyal customer in me.

Mike G.

Yelp
Just waited almost a full hour for a single pickup item! Beware if you have any sort of plans or are in any kind of rush.
google avatar

Kelly W.

Yelp
This place never disappoints! Order the garlic naan. Actually order 2! They're that good!
google avatar

Caroline C.

Yelp
Despite being less than wowed by Namaste last time, we decided to try their weekend buffet. Again, it was all pretty disappointing. Apart from the usual tandoori chicken, the buffet offered just one other meat dish (chicken curry). I had been happy to see one dish labelled "Meatballs" but it actually contained some kind of hard boiled egg concoction that didn't look very appetizing. Everything was super bland even by Indian buffet standards, and the five veggie dishes available were lukewarm and heavy on the sauce. The tandoori chicken was dry, boring, tiny pieces of leg and thigh, and the naan was cold and crispy. Dishes were not topped up nearly regularly enough/sufficiently for the amount of diners, so that when the food was brought out, people were practically running up to grab another plate, and the buffet was left almost empty again. I wish I could give Namaste more stars since the restaurant is nice and the servers are so sweet. Unfortunately, the food is just about a-ok. I guess I'll stick with India Oven for my buffet fix - it's a couple of bucks more expensive but the flavor and overall quality is much better imo.

Yelp
I think there are a huge deferent between buffet and order from menu, I came maybe three times twice for buffet and one order from menu. The food from menu was so good. specially the naan, samosa, tikka masala and sag paneer. I am a Hugh fan with the Indian food and I have never tasted those four meals before delicious like this !!! Differently I am gona come again
