Visited in oct 2025 as stayed close by. What a great place for breakfast. Instead of the typical turkish breaky where you got lots of things which you may not even eat, hear you walk into the shop and order what youd like to have. Thay have all the hot, cold mezzes, the condiments, eggs, meat and all. You pick what you like and pay for just that. Food was very fresh and tasty. Love to visit again. Staff very super friendly

We loved this place so much, we had to come back again the next morning! Hands down one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve had on our trip. The salads were incredibly fresh – crisp, vibrant, and full of flavor. It’s rare to find such healthy options that are also so satisfying. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with top-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. The coffee was absolutely delicious – smooth, rich, and exactly what you need to start your day right. And the service? Impeccable. Warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without being overbearing. This spot hits that perfect balance of wholesome, tasty food and a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere. We left both mornings feeling refreshed, well-fed, and happy. Highly recommend – it’s the kind of place you’ll wish you had back home!

The restaurant is good. We had breakfast there. Their system is that you go and choose the types of cheese, salads, and food you want, and they prepare everything and bring it to your table. For me personally, I don’t prefer this selection method—I prefer ready-made dishes served directly at the table. The place is a combination of a restaurant and a supermarket. It was a bit crowded, but overall the experience was nice, especially for a change from the usual and to try a new style of choosing food.

Perfect place for a delicious and atleast what I considered a reasonably priced meal. Had a bunch of mezes and cheese dishes with the highlights being the hot halumi and the dolma. Did not order any of the hot dishes pr deserts as we were quite full from the mezes and bread. Sit outside if you want to people watch (a fair few people smoke in the outside area) or sit inside where you can enjoy the Aircon and watch the organised chaos in action. We will probably be back for another meal in a day or two.

I’ve tried this place a couple of times, and it’s simply the best lunch option. With over 100 years of history in the heart of Istanbul, it has become a true classic. I don’t even bother looking at the menu—I head straight to the counter and order my starters. With some fresh bread on the table, I always end up having a wonderful time.

Agood brunch restaurant for breakfast you can order from menu but they prefer to order your food by yourself from inside as you can chose the cheese or olives by the quantity you want , the cheese is excellent and eggs with bastrma and also shakshoka but I didn’t like borike from themas I tasted mire better from other places, the pricese i felt little high as i felt it cost 800 Tl for person as we paid 2600 Tl all

We went there to get cheese and meat, and the staff were so helpful and nice to us. Mr Imam was eager to assist us with everything we needed, he was so friendly and answered all our questions with passion.

This is a very interesting supermarket/ restaurant for gurme food. Actually we didn’t eat here but we bought some groceries. The lady at the cashier was very friendly and helpful. I was surprised by the variety of cheeses and cold cuts on display. Some high quality food products are really expensive.
