I recently visited Nammi at the Farmers Market and I have to say — this place absolutely deserves a 5/5 ⭐. From the moment I walked in (or rather, up to their counter), to the point I left, everything was delightful.
Firstly, the ambiance and setup are charming — it retains that food-truck energy but elevated into a cozy, bright space that still feels fresh, fun, and welcoming. The staff greeted me with smiles and were prompt, even though they were managing multiple orders.
Now, let’s talk food — I ordered their pho / noodle bowl (with generous slices of beef, fresh herbs, onions, and plenty of rice noodles), plus the side “garnish pack” of bean sprouts, basil, lime, and jalapeños (as seen in my photos). The broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced — not too salty, not too bland — with little droplets of fat adding that comforting depth. The beef was tender, and the herbs were fresh. When you assemble your bowl yourself with the extras, it all comes together beautifully.
I also sampled their banh mi (one of their signature items), and it did not disappoint. Crispy, lightly toasty bread, packed with flavorful pork, tangy pickled veg, fresh herbs — every bite had texture and balance. Portions are generous — I couldn’t even finish everything, which is rare for me!
Service was efficient and attentive throughout. They checked in to make sure I had everything I needed (extra broth? more garnishes?), and everything arrived quickly.
All in all, Nammi has nailed consistency, flavor, and hospitality. In 2025, it remains a go-to Vietnamese spot in Dallas for people who want authentic taste without pretense. Highly, highly recommended — I’m already planning my next visit.
If you love pho, banh mi, or clean, bold Vietnamese flavors — do not skip Nammi
