"For fans of Thai food, this restaurant in the luxurious Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is the place to be! The focus is on Thai cuisine, but there are also Chinese dishes. Elegant and minimalist, the Far Eastern-style decor makes for the perfect setting. Tip: Ask about the Thai curry – even if it's not on the menu. In case you were wondering, the nameNamuntranslates as "lukewarm water" and is a reference to the local thermal spring." - Michelin Inspector

Authentic (slightly less spicy though) Thai food at this resort restaurant. The host was a charming gentleman who took care of our requests admirably. Our 4yr old daughter enjoyed her chicken rice meals on both occasions. While we tried a variety of curries and noodles, all prepared competently. Nice wine and aperitif selection as well.

We went to this restaurant for the first time, also due to their range of Gluten Free options. Food is Asian(Thai) but it’s very far from authentic. Nothing was spicy. We paid >510fr for 4 guests. Service was unprofessional and here are the details: 1) the lady server didn’t know the names of the meals on the menu, she was leaning into our menus trying to read description of dishes to write down. 2) we waited very long time for our main dish, it arrived after server already notified us twice that it was coming. 3) we ordered second bottle of water that was never delivered nor served, 4) server messed up orders. But all that was not the reason of my 1 star review. The same server noted that we had a person who has celiac disease and cannot eat gluten AT ALL (this was also noted when the reservation was made). When she brought food and served side dish to the celiac guest, we immediately noticed that those were gluten noodles and called them for assistance, as celiac guest had eaten some already. The extremely ignorant and rude way of speaking to guests is shocking to see in a place like this. First thing: male server/host laughed and tried convincing us that we made a mistake eating the side dish. Second, they denied that it was gluten in the start and then when they realized they can’t cover it up they tried to convince us that gluten side dish was for the guest on the left to celiac guest, but that guest ORDERED RICE!!!! The only guest that had ordered gluten noodles was on completely other side of the table and would not even be able to reach that dish as it was served, and the guest that ordered noodles got his serving already!!! All this happening and no apology, nothing. I am in utter shock that a place like this doesn’t take allergies seriously! The male server/host asked the celiac guest “how much did you have? if not much maybe it will be ok.”. Every sane person knows that no amount of gluten is safe for the celiac disease, also serving gluten dish touching gluten free dish is contamination! unfortunately this place doesn’t take anything seriously. the celiac guest is STILL suffering consequences of eating gluten that night. In the end, they sent third person to the table to apologize and offer the contact to report this incident, but through email they are still trying to make this seem as guest’s “mistake”- which is ridiculous!! I am attaching a photo of that night where you can see that noodles were served on the same plate with the GF dish, exactly put there by lady server who instructed celiac guest that it is their side dish. Important note here is that the guest who was on the left side DID NOT order any noodles but rice!! Mistakes can happen, it’s life. But this entire incident was made worse by how they handled it. Allergy guests BEWARE! This place is dangerous!

You get what you pay for. My wife and I enjoyed a delicious Asian meal here last night and we were both very happy with our experience. The menu was very imaginative and afforded a superb range of choices with something for every palate. Our choices were very satisfactory indeed with fresh ingredients wonderfully prepared and beautifully presented. Service was extremely attentive without being intrusive. Of course all this comes at a price but, it was a fair price. My only comment, not a criticism, was the wine list. In short, it was a mess and difficult to negotiate. It was far too vast to make sense of without intense concentration and to my mind many of the offerings belonged to a higher end restaurant perhaps with Micheline stars.

The service and ambience are very nice, but the standard of the food really lets this place down. The origin of the meat is not listed on the menu, which is very unusual for a restaurant in Switzerland. The reason for this is that the beef comes from Australia (where usually a menu will also provide a warning about antibiotics). We substituted the Australian beef for Swiss chicken. Unfortunately, the chicken was very dry and tough with zero seasoning. At around 60 francs for the main, I felt the experience here was poor value for money.

Good restaurant, though not without flaw. The food is delicious, especially the Dim Sum. The meat fits together very well with the garnishes and sauces. The service is also very friendly and professional. However, the meat tends to be overcooked and tough. Furthermore, for the prices this restaurant offers and for the GaultMillau award it has recieved, the cuisine lacks refinement and direction. Over the years I have been to this restaurant, the dishes have stayed the same, there is little creativity in the dishes. Still, this is a good establishment which serves quality Asian food. It’s just not quite up there with other top restaurants in five-star hotels.

The quality of meal was very good but it is hard to call this place an Asian restaurant. It is too tailored to European taste.
